Kate Gosselin is reportedly worried that her boyfriend, the silver-haired bodyguard whom she’s been rumored to be boning for some time, might be going back to his long-suffering wife. According to the National Enquirer, Kate’s bodyguard Steve Neild is taking a trip to Europe with his wife, after she insisted that he take time off for their 20th anniversary. Neild hasn’t been wearing his wedding ring and eyewitness accounts have Kate and Steve looking way too couple-y for an employer and employee. The Enquirer reports that Neild’s wife gave him an ultimatum after hearing the rumors about him and Kate:
Steve… was so busy with Kate, 35, he rarely saw his wife Gina, who lives in Potomac, MD, three hours from Kate’s place in Wernersville, PA.
And Gina’s wifely antennae went up after Kate and Steve took at least seven trips together this summer – including a vacation to Bald Head Island, N.C., where they were spotted taking sunset strolls on the beach.
Most recently Kate and Steve spent four days at the Casa Dorada resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, without her kids. Kate used the opportunity to show off her tight new bikini body, and she and Steve again looked like a cozy couple as they strolled around the resort.
“Gina trusts Steve, but she’s more than aware of all the rumors about him and Kate, and she gave him no choice,” said the source.
“Gina told Steve that they had to get away for their 20th anniversary, or it might be their last!”
A source close to Steve’s family in New Zealand confirmed that he and Gina were vacationing in Italy and that his parents were baby sitting their kids.
Since Steve headed to Europe, Kate has been down in the dumps, another insider told The Enquirer.
“Kate’s telling everyone how lonely she is, all the while denying she ever had a romantic relationship with Steve,” the insider divulged.
“But Steve’s wife obviously has her suspicions.”

What’s more is that Kate’s ex Jon Gosselin is supposedly set to marry the latest girlfriend who has somehow put up with his crap for several months. Jon “plans to wed his steady girlfriend Ellen Ross next spring,” according to The Enquirer, and he even wants more kids with her. Of course he does.
In related news, Kate Plus 8 isn’t being canceled, as In Touch claims. Kate’s rep told GossipCop that it’s not true that the show won’t go on. In Touch reported that “ex-hubby Jon wouldn’t re-sign a contract allowing his children to be filmed, telling friends the kids hated be on camera 24 hours a day and that Kate “fears that her fame is coming to an end.” The part about the show going off the air is “not true,” according to Kate’s rep, although I would bet the “fears her fame is over” part isn’t far off the mark.

If I were the guys wife, my ultimatum would have been “quit, or I leave you.” (because she doesn’t need a bodyguard anyway, no one cares about her enough to do anything to her)

I think that the show hasn’t been “canceled” but I also think that it is over. TLC has had other shows that never formally got canceled but sort of quietly disappeared. Of course, nothing about this dame ever seems to be quiet!

Or maybe they really are just friends and this story is BS? I think this one is made up. As for Jon getting married, my jaw is on the floor at the thought of anyone being stupid enough to marry that jobless bum. He’s a shitty father that only hangs out with his kids when there is nothing else to do and provides no support at all. Why do women marry and procreate with men who don’t take care of the kids they already have? I bet she’ll be “shocked” when he bails on her kids one day.

I think Steve is paid pretty money to babysit Kate. She loves it that people think they are an item, but they aren’t and never have been. Who in their right mind would put up with her?
Steve’s wife knows they aren’t an item and Steve has most likely just been making that bank, knowing the Kate Gosselin gravy train will end eventually.
Speaking of ending, I’m quite sure the show is over. TLC has a history of quietly letting shows go over the years and Kate costs too much and her ratings are too poor for the show to go on. The contract is up, so it’s the perfect time to quietly let her go. (Of course SHE won’t go quietly–expect the Great Sob Story Media Tour to begin shortly.) The ratings for that silly show were lower than the last episodes of Little People Big World and TLC let THAT show go.
Steve is paid BIG money to make sure Kate doesn’t do anything crazy. TLC recognized a long time ago how unstable she is, and so they hired him. He’s certainly not a bodyguard and never has been for her. More of a handler, in professional terms.
Think about how sad that is when you realize he was her “date” to the Emmys. She literally has no one else who would attend with her other than a paid babysitter.
It’s about time her 15 minutes were up. She’s insufferable and completely untalented. Go away, Kate. For good.

This story about Steve and his wife sounds like TLC damage control to me. TLC probably thinks ratings are in the toilet due to the affair rumors.

@TG I think they did have a handler for Jon but he didn’t like it because he couldn’t go out bar-hopping or whatever it was he wanted to do. Kate likes being handled because TLC likes her doing all the stuff she likes to do — go out shopping, get freebies, film the darn show, etc. I think she thinks she has an entourage, not a handler.

So if he’s just her bodyguard that means she is technically going on vacation ‘alone’. He then accompanies her for ‘protection’. But it confirms that she has no friends. (Not saying you can’t have a getaway by yourself, I have done it myself but if you’re having some ‘me’ time, you do it alone). How or why she needs protection at a 5 star Mexican resort she doesn’t leave for 4 days is beyond me.
This says to me she doesn’t give a rat’s ass about Steve or in particular his wife and family. She wants him when she wants him. He’s stupid enough to go along with it. She knows it’s keeping her in the public eye also.

Y’all, he’s NOT a bodyguard. Bodyguards do NOT hold packages, clothing, purses. They do NOT walk alongside the person they are guarding. They walk behind them or in front of them, always. And they don’t hold their crap because it obviously renders them not as helpful should something happen. In other words, they always need their hands free.
He’s a handler at best, a babysitter at worst, and he’s paid good money to do it. She doesn’t need a gotdamned bodyguard. The biggest celebrities around don’t run around with a constant bodyguard by their side, holding their bags and loading boogie boards into the car and carrying the damn kids!
The reason I don’t think they’re an item is because I think he’s just making money. Lots of it. He probably despises her, but the money’s too good to walk away and he knows it won’t last anyway, so might as well make it while he can. TLC is probably paying him more per day than he’s made on any other job just to keep this hag in line.
And she loves it. It LOOKS like she has this constant companion. He’s not exactly ugly, so of course she likes it. But she’s deluded. Hell, he might even be LETTING her think he’s into her just to keep her in line.

They’re definitely boning and have been for a loooooooong time. The bikini photo shoot was a cover-up and damage control. And I can promise you that the reason she was on the phone the entire time the twins were “shopping” and being totally ignored was due to catching up w/ Steve on his European getaway with his wife in name only.

I hate to say this, because she disgusts me, but I think these two are actually a good pair. I think the bodyguard’s wife knows and this is some kind of gesture to let everyone off the hook.

Well, you folks obviouslyt did not do your checking on facts. Kate was on Bald Head Island filming for TLC and all the kids were there…a nanny came along…camera men were there and so was Mrs. Nield!
In Miexico…Kate was working again! She was being photographed for the People Magazine cover and inside spread story.
All these so-called “inside sources” that always remain anonymous are nothinb but lies and you media outlets know it!!!!

When Steve and Kate were spotted walking alone every night on the beach by Bald Head residents, where was Mrs. Neild? When they were spotted by a journalist touching bare legs together on the beach, where was Mrs. Neild? When Steve and Kate were spotted by other vacationers walking alone together in Mexico, where was Mrs. Neild? And Kate is the antithesis of “morally right.”

She DOES NOT want to be a stay at home mom. Her latest plea for a job is a starring role on Mad Men.
She doesn’t have to work. SHE WANTS TO!!! She hates being with her kids. Show me one pic of her and the kids where she is smiling at them. Notice I said THEM not the CAMERA.
You can’t find it because it doesn’t exist. But there is tons of footage of her smiling and hamming it up for the camera.
