Saving mom’s lingerie as an heirloom? Yikes what a sad commentary on Anna Nicole. I mean, in that case save a pair of Guess Jeans for when she modeled for them and looked good. I dunno I would think like, a bracelet, earrings, a ring… would probably be a better heirloom. This is sorta like Darth Vader telling Luke his destiny is the Dark Side right? Instead of a light sabre…she gets panties and a bustier…

Is it possible he bought it for himself and is using Dannielynn as an excuse?

    **shudder**

I kind of miss ANS and her crazy life. No one hams it up for the cameras quite like she did.

Why are people thinking this is wrong? That was what the woman was known for. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with what he’s done. I think it was actually pretty thoughtful. And of course he’ll show her the pictures one day. It’s her mother, and they’re public pictures. I would certainly want to see some pics that made my mom famous. And Playboy isn’t trashy, Silly Lilly. I think you’re thinking of Hustler or Penthouse or something. Playboy only shows people topless (last I checked). I don’t think there’s anything wrong with showing your daughter the stuff that made her mom famous. ANS wasn’t the pillar of class or talent, but she was an icon, and this is stuff I’d be willing to bet, Dannielynn will keep treasured one day when she’s old enough.

As long as it is handled correctly, I am with Helcat. It was a big part of ANS’s life. It isn’t what most people think of when you talk about preserving the history of your mother because not every one’s mom was a Playmate…lol. :P

The Playboy photo of Anna in that pink bustier was one of her most gorgeous photos ever. Larry didn’t have to go through the trouble of buying those things back but he did, which is pretty cool.

What a beautiful little girl Dannielynn is!

I thought Playboy was a fully nude magazine? I think the poses are more tasteful than that of Hustler & Penthouse.

At least he will be showing it to her instead of someone else showing it.
