These photos are from both the LA and the Seoul, South Korea premieres of The Warrior’s Way. Kate Bosworth has a supporting part in the film (which looks pretty bad), and Kate is beyond thrilled that she has a reason to get all dressed up and walk on a red carpet. Continuing where Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman left off, The Bos chose white looks for both premieres… although with both Anne and Natalie, I thought the looks were very bridal, and on Kate, it looks very “I’m so virginal.” Maybe it’s the combination of the white dresses, the blonde hair and the makeup? Perhaps. Anyway, this look, above, with the red appliqués is Erdem. Oh, and Alexander Skarsgard wasn’t around either. Funny… he rarely shows up for her. Sidenote: I’d never really noticed it before, but The Bos has the same Katie Holmes/Kate Middleton lopsided mouth thing. Is it just with chicks named Kate?
The dress she wore in Seoul is Chloe. I like this one a little bit more than the Erdem, but not by much. She is desperately in need of color.

Okay, I’m being a wee bit sensitive today and yeah it’s around that time of the month, BUT maybe the 1/2 smile thing is because they suffered from Bell’s Palsy at one point in there lives. I have, and while it’s not terribly noticeable at all (I did a lot facial exercises during my recovery), I was always a bit self-consciousness in the beginning …I was only 17/18 at the time and it irked me like crazy when people would point it out, thankfully the antibiotics and facial exercises fixed the problem and it did not get worse. I can still slightly see it, but no one even notices unless I point it to them, so let’s allow these women have their little flaws and try not to point them out…it might be a sadder story behind the 1/2 smile.

Every role she plays anymore, they slap a dark wig on her head and a brown contact over her one blue eye. Maybe she should follow suit and ditch the awful over processed hair and go for a softer color.

I can’t believe she’s 27, more like 37. I’m about a month younger than her and I look at least 5 years younger. I’m always getting mistaken for being in my early twenties (thank goodness!) and everyone thinks that my husband is older than me…he’s actually 2 years younger than me! It’s like someone turned the lights off under her skin. On the surface she looks happy but underneath it’s all dead. It’s a shame since she is a good looking chick.

I am also puzzled by all the obvious Spring/Summer dresses this Fall. Not that I am a fan of seeing nothing but black dresses.
Yet, it makes me wonder if ole crazy Rachel Zoe was their stylist.
It would be about her speed to send them all out in white thinking it was cutting edge. Walking the red carpet in Easter dresses in November.

I don’t hate the first dress and I think she actually looks quiet beautiful in some of the closeups but I think a slight darker hair color or a darker dress would have been better. Since she’s pale, and her hair is pale, and the dress is white it all too much … but I dunno I almost think she looks better covered up since you can’t see as many of her bones … maybe that’s why I don’t hate it.

I don’t mind the dresses, I like both styles, but she needs much more colour (even on that first dress with the red accents ). She has a pale complexion and those particular outfits make her look very washed-out.

Bad, bad, bad. Dress, hair, weird clammy sheen on her skin, and wasted physique. I don’t know what it is…I do feel sympathy (or pity) for people with eating disorders, but in truth, they irritate the hell out of me. What a pathetic way to waste your life. If she ate some avocados and some protein, she might actually be cute, but it’s way too hard to look past her withered body.

I think this tendency by hollywood actresses to get thinner and thinner is a way for them to explaim to the public how much better they are than the average person and to disassociate themselves as much as they can from the common man… Americans on average are getting bigger and acresses are getting thinner… It’s like they are saying “We don’t want to be part of THAT”…

Her body is fine, she isn’t skelletic (this obsession with the skelletic defintion thrown so easily once a woman is slim is becoming ridiculous), it’s just that there is too much colorless there.
Skin is pale, hair are whitish blonde, even greyish at some part and she is wearing virginal whitish clothes…too much colorless, lifeless vibes.
She is young, she needs to spice it up and add some colors. If she was tanned nobody would talk about her being skinny because olive and brownish skin give more illusion of health and add to muscle definition.
She just needs to add some color in her hair, go golden blond instead of the whitish tone and add some puff with a new spunky, younger mane.
Put a more flattering short dress which had some fierce color like green or orange !

I’m guessing the flash from the cameras is what is giving her hair that platinum color in some pictures and not in others. IF its wasnt the flash, girlfriend needs to fix her hair. White hair isnt a good color for her. Nor is the mismatched eyebrow gel. Maybe she should try a nice warm honey color?
That said, I like parts of the Erdem dress. I really like the print but I think the lace overlay is too long and I’m not crazy about the sleeves. I do like the shoes in the second outfit – they make her already long legs look as if they stretch for ages. However, I still don’t like her in beige. Its fall, where are the colors? How about a nice dusty teal that matches the blue of her eyes? Now *that* would be stunning!
