On Thursday Jaybird reported that Michelle Williams, 27, is said to be dating director Spike Jonze and that they were even seen kissing outside his apartment. The story originated in notoriously wrong Star Magazine, though, and the kiss is described as “closed mouth on the corner of [the] lips.” Since Williams is an actress and Jonze is a director who worked with her on the much-anticipated film version of Where the Wild Things Are, it seems a little premature to say they’re dating just because they casually kissed each other goodbye. It wouldn’t be the first time Star jumped to wild conclusions.
It seems much more likely that Williams is dating Heath Ledger’s best friend from childhood, a strapping 29 year-old guy named Trevor DiCarlo who also grew up in Perth, Australia. They were photographed together a few times and DiCarlo has even been staying at William’s house and once answered the door shirtless. It’s possible they’re just friends and that Trevor is lending support to Michelle in this difficult time. I hope not though because this guy is hot:

They’ve been dining and going for walks, with Trevor wheeling the stroller for 2-year-old Matilda, the daughter of Heath and Michelle…
Trevor, without a shirt and dressed only in khaki shorts, appeared right at home recently when he answered the door at Michelle’s house. He would not comment on their relationship and Michelle’s rep says they’re just friends.
A neighbor, however, confirmed that Trevor has been staying at Michelle’s place and that the pair eat at a nearby pizza place

It’s got to be hard for Michelle to see Heath’s face plastered all over in giant advertisements for The Dark Knight. Whether his friend is just visiting and needed a place to stay while in NY or if he’s a new love interest it seems to be a positive thing that she has him around. A lot of you wished her well in your comments on her maybe-relationship with Spike Jonze, and no matter who she’s dating she’s keeping busy and seeing friends and that seems to be what matters.
Note: I tried to find the photo for this article that the National Enquirer uses, but I couldn’t figure out the agency after several tries and was unable to buy it. You can see it in the Enquirer that’s out now with Lisa Marie Presley’s “secret shame” on the cover. The guy is a muscular bald guy with cool glasses and colorful tattoos.

Woah, xiaoecho, that’s so harsh. I didn’t like her AT ALL on Dawson’s Creek and was confused as to why she played the “uber-hot” chick… but I love her now. She’s so elegant. But she looks kinda pregnant in both the denim-dress shots, especially the header. Not at all in the pics with the other dress though.

Good Lord, her hair looks bloody awful. I thought I was having a bad hair day today…but now I feel better. Hopefully it won’t be looking like this in the film. It reminds me of Cameron Diaz’s hair in “Being John Malkovich”. Except not quite as teased out. I hope “flat triangle” isn’t the next new hair shape.

But nothing to rub me the wrong way or anything, I just never got excited about her, but now she’s lost the love of her life, and in the way that she did, that sucks in a gi-NORmous way and I’d never, ever want to have to experience that kind of emotional pain and bereavement. I mean, when the love of MY life and I broke up, he didn’t die or anything, but still it took me TWO YEARS just to start feeling normal again, where it wouldn’t hurt so desperately bad every single day. And my man didn’t die, we just had to break up. I don’t know how I would have dealt with it if he’d plled a Heath Ledger and died on me right after we broke up. I would have been utterly destroyed.

Michelle had a child with Heath and that gives her every right to feel like a widow. She has to get up every day and look at her daughter and see him, it’s not like they just dated, they shared something that you normally don’t share with a “boyfriend”. I hope she is dating Heath’s friend. BUT I read a story saying that was her brother. omg.yahoo

Jessie you can not make someone get help they have to first admit they have a problem and secondly they have to have a desire to fix the problem! You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink it! I feel sorry for Ms Williams she is reminded every day of her life when she looks into her daughters sweet face of a love that can never be. Her daughter will never experience the love her Father had for her, she can only hear about it from the people who knew Heath. So for all you sarcastic haters out there think about how the people in your life could give a crap about you when you loose a loved one.

She did try to get him help, in refernce to jesse’s comment up there who said that ‘if she loved him, she would have gotten him help.’
She drove him to Promises (the famous celb-rehab) but he supposedly refused to go check into rehab, and said that he could handle the problem by himself.
Im going to assume that you have never ever done drugs, let alone known someone with a substance abuse problem - he apparently had issues with perscription pills *and tons of people do* - theyre what killed him, although i cant quite figure out how he, who had to be a regular user of those pills for recreation, could mess up the dose level so bad that he would straight out OD.
But heres the genuis thing - people who abuse perscription drugs often dont feel they have a problem, because it is not seen, in the conventional sense, as a problem, if a doctor is giving you the pills, and its all medically legit - how could you have a problem? (get the logic)
and so, what you had here, was someone who im sure prolly fooled around with street drugs too - but who ultimately thought he had everything under control because, hey, he was taking ambien and it was given to him by his doctor. and blowing oxycontin up his nose, well, thats also a pharmicudical.
and thats how he died.
you, nor i, nor anyone who bothers to go on sites like this have any idea how hard or how many times ms williams attempted to get him help. if he was the love of her life, im going to guess she did all that she could.

God this woman used to be Heaths girl… she carried his chidl that looks nothign liek her and very much like her father. Its a constant reminder. I feel for her but I feel so bas to Matilda! I miss heath and I can only imagine what pain williams went through. even though they broke up… I still remember heatsh interview with operah during bbm how he talked about williams being his true love and all. I never thought these two would split and then hea died…just tragic.
