It turns out that Kristen Stewart flew into New York (from Canada) to be with her sparkly lover for his big premiere night. Kristen didn’t walk the Water for Elephants red carpet though – well, there are no photos of her on the red carpet, so I assume she somehow snuck in to the premiere while Robert Pattinson posed (like a dumbass) on the red carpet. After the premiere, she went with Sparkles and his parents to the after-party at Le Cirque. According to Us Weekly, Sparkles and K-Stew were “inseparable at their table — sipping beer rather than champagne — throughout the elegant, formal affair…Befitting the flick’s circus theme, Le Cirque was decked out with brass birdcages, a brass elephant on a circus ball and other touches.” Witnesses were talking about how pretty Kristen looked and how she got along with his parents, and how K-Stew and Sparkles were a “cute couple”.
Then they left the party and photographers snapped photos of them walking quickly to the SUV. Sparkles put Kristin in first, like a gentlemen, and as soon as he was sitting beside her, he leaned in for a quick kiss – you can see the still photos here, and it actually looks kind of sweet and sexy. But Pop Sugar has video of what really happened, and JESUS. K-Stew is such a little troll. Sparkles leans in for a kiss and she pulls away and dodges him, shoots the paparazzi an EYE ROLL. We get it, Kristen. You’re ABOVE IT ALL. Here’s the video:

As someone who doesn’t mind her and might even defend her from time to time, I have to agree with this post… This girl really needs to relax and learn how to have fun. While Rob’s awkwardness is charming, hers seems to come from an immature self-obsessive awareness. She needs to get over it!
Kristen if he’s willing to walk around with you in front of paps while you wear a designer dress with Keds and not roll his eyes at you, then the guy deserves at least a kiss, even if there are paps around sans the the roll from you !

What I don’t get is why it is such a surprise to these celebs when they get followed by the paps. It’s been like that in Hollywood for many, many years. He doesn’t need more publicity, he needs less, especially when it comes to tabloidish subjects like his love life. “Robsten” is so 2009, it was cute and people cared about a year or two back, but it’s 2011 and “Robsten” stuff is hardly noteworthy to publications beyond online gossip sites.
Rob’s trying to disassociate himself from Twilight, he’s got “edward 2008″ stamped on his forehead. No publicist in his right mind would be encouraging more “Robsten” crap for WFE promotion, it takes away from the idea that he’s grown up now and post-twilight. Tabloid attention is not the way to promote WFE, selling it as a great movie and himself as an able actor is.
She comes off like a tomboy, sure, but that does not indicate sexual orientation. Rob has just as much chemistry with men as women onscreen to be honest, he’s hot in little ashes. But both of them have had long term heterosexual relationships pre-twilight, so trying to force them into a bearding situation just doesn’t work. Both of them actually suffer professionally when being too closely associated with eachother, and both of them are both famous and rich already.

I watched the video twice and I honestly didn’t see any eye-rolling. And Rob didn’t look particularly crushed or crestfallen so I’d say they were having fun / having a go at the paparazzi / press in a silly sort of way. Obviously they know their fans are obsessed with their private lives and with their kissing each other, and Rob wanted to act this out but Kristen was just too uncomfortable.
I personally don’t mind that she guards her private life, and it’s great that she has a friend / boyfriend in Rob who’s goofy, somewhat more relaxed and playful, but also protective of her. She’s OK in my book.

Your annoyance with this girl is actually pretty understandable, Kaiser, but the kid is what? Nineteen? Let’s put the fact that Sparkles is her Lee Press-On Nails aside for a minute, and think about what we would do if there were always cameras in our faces when we were still pubescent. Especially when we thought we were in a somewhat personal space, like a car, with someone close to us. She’s not too good for the paps, she’s embarrassed by them. I’ve noticed before that she does embarrass easily, though you wouldn’t guess it.
Besides, Sparkles may have been urging her to do it FOR the cameras. Yes, he’s a good sport, but he’s also too damn excited to prove things. I know that would piss ME off big time.

I’d agree – no eye-rolling. Would it be better if she’d gone for it and shoved her tongue down his throat? I’m sure you would have had something nasty to say about her in that case as well.
