Lindsay Lohan & Samantha Ronson fight over Calum Best

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have had another lover’s tiff. This time it’s over one of Lindsay’s former boyfriends – something that’s been a long-standing issue between the pair. According to rumors, Samantha gets excessively jealous whenever an old flame is around. This could be because she doesn’t like reminders that Lindsay used to be with guys, or because she flat out doesn’t like the thought of her girlfriend having been with anyone else. Most of us are no strangers to the latter.

Lindsay and Samantha were at a London club when legendary British playboy (and Lohan ex) Calum Best showed up. And then drama and chaos ensued.

Head in her hands, a glum faced Lindsay Lohan looked like the string of late nights were finally getting to her last night. The actress was left sitting alone in her limousine after an apparent lover’s tiff with girlfriend Sam Ronson. Perhaps the sour mood between the two was caused by the surprise appearance of Lindsay’s former lover Calum Best.

The model turned up in London club Boujis, bumping into his ex-lover for the second time since she arrived in the UK a week ago. His appearance may not have gone down well as Ronson is said to get jealous of Lindsay’s former male lovers.

Lindsay went to the couple’s limousine at 3.45am, but was left waiting for Sam for ten minutes. When they arrived back at their hotel onlookers said British girl Sam stormed out of their Maybach limousine and went inside, leaving Lindsay sitting alone.

Earlier in the evening Sam had hit the decks at another London club - Mahiki. Meanwhile back at Boujis model Best left with some friends and a mystery blonde. Last week he made a surprise appearance at Chinawhite but Lindsay was having none of it, and did her best to avoid him all night. An insider said: ‘Lindsay was horrified when she found out Calum was there and refused to talk to him. Samantha gets jealous of her former male lovers, and Lindsay didn’t want to upset her.’

[From the Daily Mail]

It doesn’t sound like Lindsay did anything wrong. Wow, there’s a sentence I’ve never said. Normally you can clearly list all the mistakes Lohan has made on any given day. But it seems like the big problem was that Calum Best still exists and is prone to go places. Can’t really blame Lohan for that.

It’s definitely awkward running into an ex, and it doesn’t sound like they’re on friendly terms. But it’s pretty clear Lindsay generally stayed away from him – it’s not like Samantha caught them making out in the bathroom or anything. Presumably. The whole thing sounds sort of overblown. Lindsay loves her drama though, and when she’s in a fairly stable relationship she’s got to take what she can get.

Here’s Lindsay and Sam out in London last night. The happy pictures are from the beginning of the evening, and the cranky pictures are from the end of the night. Images thanks to WENN and Bauer-Griffin.

  1. This girl is really starting to annoy me. Here’s another one who just doesn’t want to deal with her REAL ISSUES so she acts out to distract herself from her problems. Look at the pictures of her in the car. It’s so obvious she’s truly stressed but acting out ain’t gonna solve ANYTHING. You gotta DEAL WITH IT HONEY!!! Anyway, I feel bad for Sam because I have a feeling she’s gonna get hurt all because some confused little girl can’t face her life. It’s sad when you bring other ppl into your mania.

  3. Rumor has it loser Calum got close to Lindsays table and tried to greet her and kiss her on the cheek, while there was Samanthas stepbrother present.Lindsay did greeted him politely and that was it,but Calum managed to sit a few tables away and he even tried to dance with Lindsay.Samantha got pretty upset.
By the way thats a great pic of Lindsay smiling and looking completely sober.Whatever the reason, someone must teach Lindsay to behave when being in a commited relationship, and Calum just “happens” to appear where the girls go.I understand why Samantha cant stand him.He leaked the video of Lindsay remember? :(

  4. Why does Sam’s reaction have to be equated with jealousy? Perhaps she was acting pissy simply because she doesn’t care for *any* douchebag.

  6. I’m laughing at all the people who say how Sam will get hurt. Yes, she’s such a delicate flower.

Lindsay is freaking out all over the place, biting her nails, acting all spastic. She’s with Sam because she’s afraid to be alone — and no one else is there — but I’m sure she knows now that she’s not a lesbian or even a bisexual. Her college-girl-without-the-college experimental phase is coming to an end.

  7. Baho:

Anyone want to bet how many gallons of collagen (or whatever they use these days) have been injected into Lindsay’s lips?

  8. I agree with Katie. When his father was dying, he seems to start to mature - but no, he’s still acting like some halfwit teenager.

Without wanting to split hairs, but I’ve made this point before, that while Callum Best is a super-s*ut on the British scene, he himself is American, born and raised.

I honestly don’t know why some girls find him attractive - I saw a programme earlier this year, “Living with Lucy”, where presenter Lucy Kennedy went to stay with him for a week, and he was the most charmless, grumpiest twerp. There’s only a tiny clip of it on Youtube though.

If you search there is an interview with Lucy’s old “bosses”, Podge & Rodge, where he’s marginally less contrary (honestly, (but don’t click on it if you’re of a delicate disposition or don’t like belligerent foul-mouthed puppets) Lindsay and White Oprah are mentioned in it though.

  9. Calum just wants to keep his name in the tabs.

I cracked up when I looked for him on Wikipedia to find out why he’s famous. He’s a model turned ‘celebrity’. Just like Miley’s guy!!

  11. It’s a reasonable enough facsimile Mark…but it’s just not the same without the actual paper note-passing. We make do though.

Edit: D’Oh! Unless you meant Lohan et al - oops! Sometimes I just can’t tell.
