Madonna, in addition to having thighs that can crack walnuts, seems to have the power of evil. Guy Ritchie’s latest film Sherlock Holmes is having a string of problems, the latest being an injury to Robert Downey Jr.
The Iron Man actor, 43, was knocked unconscious by 25-stone co-star Robert Maillet during a fight scene.
Downey Jr — who plays the famous detective — was “out cold” for six seconds and “drooling blood” before medics could bring him round.
A nurse on set at Chatham dockyard in Kent gave him six stitches in his mouth.
A source said: “Robert was accidentally caught on the chin by a thundering hook. He went flying and was out cold.
“He didn’t want to go to hospital and kept trying to get up. He’s a trooper. But there have been lots of other problems too.”
In addition to Robert’s unfortunately injury, a petrol tanker exploded yesterday on the set.
The Sun is trying to suggest that Sherlock is cursed, citing the two incidents and the fact that Guy Ritchie is getting divorced during filming. With no serious injuries, filming only delayed for two hours by the fire, and getting Madonna out of the picture, I can only imagine that Guy is feeling luckier than he has in about eight years.
Robert Downey Jr might be feeling less fortunate though, he was the one who got the stitches.

God he looks rough in those pictures. I sincerely hope he is not dabbling in drugs and alcohol again. Maybe he is just getting old.

Better stiches than being caught in the tanker explosion. Madonna has gone from Kabbalah to studying the Necronomicon.

So the Madge Vadge is not hypnotic, but cursed? Actually, it just sounds like normal set problems. It will only be “cursed” when someone dies. Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen.

I’d hardly say the set is “cursed.” GR’s divorce is certainly a positive, not a negative.
As for RD; I’m so glad he wasn’t seriously injured. I know he’s fallen and gotten back up several times, but for some reason I just keep rooting for him. He is extremely talented and I just hope he can continue living a sober and healthy lifestyle. He still has a lot to offer the world!
