Liberty Ross has made her first post-scandal red carpet appearance!! Liberty went to last night’s Hollywood premiere of Lawless – a premiere in which neither Jessica Chastain nor Tom Hardy deigned to appear – looking like the flawless, righteous bitch she is. And I use “bitch” in the “seriously, I love this condor-of-doom-blogging bitch” way. We’ve seen Liberty since the scandal, of course – a few weeks ago, she was photographed briefly with her (estranged?) husband Rupert Sanders, and she was also photographed out and about in LA, wearing a giant crucifix necklace (likely to ward off trampires).
As for how Liberty looked at the premiere… good. She looks good. Her face looks great, and I like that she wasn’t wearing that too-harsh red lipstick. I find the satin shirt a bit dated, but I like that she went to the premiere in pants and her beloved kick-ass heeled boots. Liberty still isn’t wearing her wedding ring, for those of you who like to think that Ring Watch is significant. Frankly, I’m surprised that Liberty didn’t wear this:
But obviously, she’s too classy to underline that point. She can make that point just by showing up on a red carpet before Kristen Stewart manages.
Liberty also updated her Vogue UK blog earlier this week – her blog update was nothing but the word “LIBERTY” and a photo of a soaring condor (of DOOM). So… I’m still saying that Liberty has gotten herself a divorce lawyer, and that once she wrings everything she can get from Rupert, she’s going back to London. Well done, Liberty.

Studies consistently show that there is no correlation between cheating men and choosing affair partners who are better looking than their current mate. In this case, I fully agree. In my society, strong and independent women take their kids and walk out of marriage. They don’t bat an eyelash at the other woman, they take their bat on the married man. Those who stay are usually the non-working moms who haven’t enough money to be on their own. I admire those that take their kids and build a new life with their work, even if it was tough and bloody in the beginning. At least, that’s what my mother taught me.
But I’m young enough, so I’ll try not to judge. But I also won’t sing her praises.

well, we don’t really know what she’s up to… she could be leaving.
It’s not as if we have any clue how far along she is in any proceedings. Likewise we haven’t seen her do anything directly implying any emotion or action towards Kristin.
Sometimes I believe posters here believe every piece of gossip they read to be an undebatable fact.
So far she’s stopped wearing her ring. Has been going to a lawyers office and having a bit of cheeky humor at the whole horrible mess.
I think she can still be called a strong woman even if she’s not following the letter of the law you were taught.

Everyone who appear on the red carpet and is not part of the production of the movie or a relative is a famewhore for me.
In the mid to late 90’s she was a pretty famous model, at least in Europe. She was kinda part of the waif thing and was grouped with models like Kate Moss. I would say fame wise she was one notch under Kate and did tons of editorial och big brand name campaigns.
She was everywhere for a while, then kind of fell off the radar (ie moved to LA and had kids). So yes she is much more famous than her husband, at least here in Europe.
I’ll wait a month more, but I think the cynic in me was right.

That’s understandable. Those models accomplished the rare feat of mainstream crossover success. Most models remain successful within the fashion world alone, so the average person may not recognize their name. A close family member works in that field and I’ve always followed these things so I’m familiar with Liberty’s work. Mario Testino was the first to shoot her and convinced her to model professionally. She’s done numerous high profile covers, the Pirelli calendar, contracts with Burberry, Lagerfeld, she was the face of Dior Addict fragrance blah blah. If you’ve opened up a fashion mag within the last ten years or so, you’ve seen her.
She was famous in fashion world, but she was never even near celebrity status. I remember few covers form the 90’s but that is all. Also, she is pretty petite for a model, so I think she peaked long time ago and considering she is loaded, this is a great way for her to get some attention and build a career in the States.
I wanted to know how come she knew when to post that Snow White picture on her Instagram or Twitter (I forgot which one)? It was right before the photos came out.

A quick google search will give you dozens of other similar pics. Getting dressed up and smiling through the pain is the mark of a strong, dignified, grown up woman who, with two small children, can’t afford to forever hide under the covers crying. If you want woe is me histrionics, I trust you know where to turn? Her career was hardly “dead.” She’s signed to the Storm Agency. I have fallen in love with her. I have seen probably every photograph of her freely available on the internet. I swear I spent 2 hours looking at everything of her I possibly could. She is an exquisitely talented model and a unique beauty. Her skin is an inspiration. I want to see her become outrageously successful in the wake of all this, I don’t care who interprets that as famewhoring, I want to see more of her. She’s intriguing and she’s a class act.

Ha, I was at the premier last night and while sitting and waiting for the movie to start, I saw her right in front of me- her seat was right below mine. I didn’t recognize her until right now, but I remember the first thing that came into my head when I saw her: SKINNY. Whoa that lady is skinny. And hot. But really skinny.
So in person, she looks pretty good. And she carries herself well, very self-assured. I thought she was a writer or something, no idea it was her.

She is very beautiful. Kristen and she look somewhat alike but I think Liberty is prettier and I don’t care for Kristen’s personality. However, I think Rupert was the one who is the biggest cad in all of this. I do feel for Kristen that she got caught up in his sex life.

I think she’s famewhoring because she wants to show Rubert that she can stand on her own two feet, and she will probably need to land some work now that Rupert will no longer be in the picture.
