Here are some photos of Katy Perry at the Trevor Live event where she was honored for her efforts against bullying. During her speech, Katy stated, “I hope all LGBTQ youth know that they are as valuable as anyone else, that they are amazing and unique, and make the world a more vibrant place.” Well, at least she said something remotely intelligent and inspiring unlike her recent statements about feminism. So that’s something, I guess. Small steps.
Katy is wearing a beige/flesh-colored Marchesa dress here, and — even though I agree with Kaiser (and nearly everyone who’s witnessed the horror of Marchesa) that the only reason that any starlet wears the label is due to the not-so-subtle encouragement of Harvey Weinstein — this really isn’t such a bad dress in the grand scheme of all of that sparkly, ice-capadey crap that Georgina Chapman designs. This dress is certainly better than the last Marchesa getup that Katy wore; remember, the one that made her look like a jewelry-box ballerina? So terrible. But you know that Katy’s only wearing this dress because Harvey’s going to make her a movie star. Katy looks good here even though she’s probably unnecessarily relying upon her Spanx security blanket. She’s also toned down her usual hair and makeup habits too, which is a somewhat unexpected but quite welcome change. Or perhaps the lighting is just working in her favor.
Anna Kendrick wore a very light blue Georges Chakra dress, which is floaty and flattering at the same time. She looks gorgeous here even if the hair is a bit off.
Zoe Saldana wore a muted pink cocktail dress, and it washed her out completely. At least she’s not looking so frighteningly skinny these days.

I’ll take Anna Kendrick’s dress over Perry’s any day of the week, I get people want her to dress more maturely but yeesh…its just so dull.
As for her comments on feminism, honestly so long as a woman is willing to fight for other women’s rights then I don’t care what she calls herself.

Anna Kendrick’s dress almost looks like it MIGHT be Marchesa, too. Not that it is, just that I wouldn’t have been surprised if that was the ID.
Zoe looks so much better with a few extra lbs on her frame. Prettier and softer. Hope she keeps them on! As for Katy Perry..whatever, she looks fine. Why do I feel like I’ve seen her in an identical dress before though?

Katy’s dress does not fit her right. It makes her breasts look saggy. Kendra’s dress is perfect. Zoe’s dress need some fixing in the back side of the skirt.

I love that somehow Katy is a hero for the anti-bullying movement, when she has a song called “UR So Gay” about an ex-boyfriend that she puts down for having “gay” qualities.
And that “Last Friday Night” video bugs the crap out of me because “Katy Beth Terry” or whatever, wears headgear and glasses and is a “nerd,” and when she speaks, she can barely pronounce her words and sounds developmentally disabled. Isn’t it bullying to make fun of someone who has difficulty with speech? Anyway. Hmmm.

Anna Kendricks dress is lovely. Katy needs a different neckline and the sleeve design makes her arms look thick. Also I don’t like the middle part in her hair, A sidepart looks much nicer on her. Zoe’s hair looks… Halfassed

Katy’s face looks a little different, and I don’t think it is the makeup. Weight gain, maybe? The second picture of her is a little creepy.
Anna’s dress is a little ice skater, but I love her hair. It’s very romantic.

I hate all three of those dresses. Kp’s is still bedazzled with fringy seams. Anna’s dress is ice-capedy too. Zoey’s (least ugly of the three) positioning is killing her dress.
I don’t think KP has toned down the makeup just the colors.

Well, I hope she had Marchesa sew some spanx into that monstrosity. Otherwise we’re bound to her Ms. Perry complain of how fat she feels when she ins’t wearing shape wear in her next interview.

I love the black hair, parted down the middle for Katy. In the early, happier times with Brand she styled it that way and I thought it was the prettiest she had ever looked.
