Oh, the Uncool Bermuda Triangle, will it ever end? Not while there’s still breath left in a gossip columnist, it won’t. Brad Pitt sat down with W magazine to talk about his film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, his partner Angelina and their kids, and of course, the ex-wife. Brad, per usual, does a half-decent job defending both his ex and his current partner. He refers to Aniston as “a sweetheart” and insinuates that yes, Vogue was “tabloid” (Aniston’s words) by emphasizing the whole “uncool” comment. Brad saves his sweetest words for the mother of his children though, agreeing with Angelina’s previous “uncool” statement that she wants their kids to watch Mr. and Mrs. Smith to see the film where their parents fell in love. Brad says, “We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all.”

CB wanted me to mention that Brad continued the Uncool Bermuda Triangle with his recent interview to the Los Angeles Times, saying that his life was “a dead end” before fatherhood and before Angelina. Even though my first thought when I read that piece was that Brad was referring to life with Aniston as a “dead end”, it’s open to multiple interpretations. I interpret Brad’s actions and words post-Aniston-Vogue interview as all about defending Angelina and their family, as he should. Of course his words will be analyzed and re-worked to suit everyone’s agendas. But I’ve never been one to mind – I like both Brad and Angelina in interviews, and this Benjamin Button press tour has been one of Brad’s best.
He is such an amazing human being. He is so polished and what a beautiful heart !! I really adore him, he is a true class act !!!!!!

Finally. He is the one in the middle of this triangle and yet the one we hear the least about. It’s about time he stepped up and made some statements defending both Angie and Jen, instead of letting them fight it out.
I know that when Jennifer mentioned the triangle many said that she should quit talking and just say “I am not discussing this it is old news”. Don’t you Brad/Angie fans think that Brad should have done the same? It is kind of hyprotical to think that Jen should be quiet while Brad/Angie have every right to talk about this whenever they want. Perhaps Brad enjoys this whole triangle thing – it was stated that if jennifer wanted this to end she should be quiet – obviously same goes for Brad. Remember the shut up Jen posts. Wonder if you will see these regarding Brad?
Also do you guys actually believe that Brad/Angie did not have an affair? Brad this is getting old. Perhaps they did not physically have an affair but I think that everyone would agree that Brad/Angie had an emotional affair and that played into the ending of his marraige. I realize that he could never admit this as he would lose his 40+ year old female fans, but I really cannot believe that that these older women fall for his lies all the time. And how was this handled respectfully. Does he really believe that the W shoot was respectful?

And as for Brad protecting his family. Think again this interview was all about making Brad look good. Brad is and has always protected himself. He doesn’t say one word about Angie directly in this interview, he calls Aniston a “sweetheart”, he states he had no affair – while everyone knows he did. Well played – and all the older women swoon!

However they want to frame it they had an affair and he cheated. END OF STORY. They have both worked so hard to believe they didn’t do anything wrong they both hate when they are reminded of it. You can’t hide from yourself. I think deep down it is a turn off to each other that they started the relationship by hurting someone else. They are not all evil. Angelina has a hard time looking at herself in the mirror because she did exactly what her dad did to her mom.

Ok, I used to like him, and every time he talks, I like him less and less. I remember almost right after the tabloids got hold of the news that he cheated on Anniston and was with Jolie, he did a cover with Angelina posing as a family, bbqing in a backyard. How is that in any way respectful?! Everyone was in an uproar about that and that’s when the quote of him lacking a sensitivity chip came out.
Moreover, he talks as if he and Jen are friends and talk often. She came out and said they don’t really talk. That’s the second time he’s tried to play ‘they’re buddies’ card.

If what was at least an on set emotional affair was not consumated before BP left JA for AJ, it is only because AJ, the master manipulator, was pulling his puppet strings right from the start.
She may have withheld the sexual part of their affair to get BP cut all ties to Aniston just to be sure she didn’t end up a fling. I don’t think it was because she was trying to be “respectful” or “handle it well”.
I think it’s so funny that AJ seems so desperate to rewrite their history to erase the fact that Brad Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston when they fell in love. Again…Angelina has held the position as a commissioned officer for the UNHCR for several years (even before Brad) and IS an ACTIVIST and a HUMANITARIAN. She holds several other political posts that help her advocate for the aid, supplies and protection of refugee children AROUND the WORLD. She has visited over 33 COUNTRIES and reports back the information to those lawmakers and policy wonks that CAN affect change. She is usually gone for days and, occasionally, weeks at a time. And yes, she gives money to charity as well. She is well known in the public policy, NGOs and the global arena for her service and commitment to refugee and children’s rights. She has stated several times that she enjoys being an actress, but strongly wants to be known more for her service as a global citizen. She has already received awards and international recognition for her work. This is why she is regarded as a powerful woman..she continues to top polls as a very influential actress of our time. If you do not know her work or read her published journals…then just say so. She has accomplished quite a bit and she is not even 34 yrs. old yet!
You can google Angelina’s accomplishments as a freedom fighter over the last 10 years and view for yourself what is catalogued and already part of history.

Instead of giving those poor children the best schools money can buy and a provide fine a stable home- she is dragging them from one hotel to another rented castle, not giving them the basic needs of stability, friends, education, routines, and care for their needs and their interests.
The only chance these poor children who serve as instruments, have, is if Brad will leave and make sure they finally get a real home, and school.

In an interview late last year, Jen said she keeps in touch with Brad. Brad confirmed this in this interview.
If Brad cheated, why would Jen want anything to do with Brad (especially keep in touch with him and “congrat on your baby”, etc)? Read her interviews (late last year Vogue & GQ).
Also, if Brad cheated, why would Jen praise Brad? Jen said she saw an hour of Brad’s TCCOBB movie and loved it and commented on his charitable work, etc?

Also, read about this photographic technique. You won’t find a lot of celebrities agreeing to do this technique because it exposes ALL your flaws.

Exactly, if Jen says he didn’t cheat and he says he didn’t, what else is there to discuss? Shouldn’t she know if he cheated on her? Now if you want to hate Angelina and Brad fine, just hate them; you don’t need a reason. With today’s moral climate the “he cheated on his wife” line is disingenuous to say the least! However without Angie and Brad to hate this site(and others) would be dead; so there is an article about them on every page, keep it up. Not to mention AJ has been popping out babies like a pop tart toaster…..good for them! I hope they have two football/soccer team with 22-24 kids in all!!!
This guy is too dumb for words. Hooks up with a freak show (her past is NOT the norm) and has the nerve to get upset when people ask about his freak show life. How sad to live an isolated life – no matter how much money you have. Thank God those children have each other – that seems to be the only constant in their lives.
i found it bland. script could have been much much tighter. funnier.

anniston did want to procreate when they were married .. it just didnt happen as for did he cheat…. i believe he did.. but i believe brad and jenn are painting the friendship scene because they own a production company together and it puts a stop to alot of the talk and i believe jenn still loves him… as for brad i believe he cares for both women but is stuck with angelina the child support alone would dry his finances up and as for angelina she is known for her breaking up relationships her own and others for her own needs… i respect angelina for her compassion in helping others but i do believe that brad and jenn hit a rough patch and brad was bewitched by angelina and it went from there some men are weaker then others and cant make it through rough patches in life so they seek something easy to get them through it and angelina played the role very well shes always been about molding herself to her partners.,, just look at past photos of her with other men you will see similarities between her and the men and drastic changes when you see her in each relationship where you can tell she changed to make the relationship work
