I feel like we haven’t had a good Ryan Gosling-Eva Mendes story in a while. I guess they’ve managed to quietly wait out their haters, the people who thought they’d break up as soon as they promoted their film together. Well, no. They are still together. Ryan is in Detroit, working on his directorial debut (How To Catch A Monster) and he wrote a part for Eva, so she’s been in Detroit too I guess. According to Star, she’s been hanging out with Ryan for moral support. And to distract him by jumping on the Gosdong whenever possible.
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes just upped their game when it comes to being the sexiest couple in Hollywood – because the two can’t keep their hands off each other, even while on the job!
While Ryan is busy working on his new movies How To Catch a Monster, the two have been using the editing suite to steam things up.
“They aren’t exactly discreet,” spills the source. “Ryan will be totally focused, then she’ll throw him off by giving him a saucy look. The next thing you know, they’ve kicked everyone out of the room so they can ‘talk’.”

Ew. I mean, I can picture Eva and Ryan having sex and it’s hot and everything, but the idea that Ryan – with his directorial debut! – is telling professional people to leave the room so he can bang his girlfriend in the editing suite? NO. That’s gross. And it’s probably not true, so who knows. Maybe Eva is the way Ryan “de-stresses” after a hard day.
Additionally, The Enquirer has a completely bizarre story about how Eva Mendes developed a bit of a crush on Larry David after working with him in Clear History and now Ryan Gosling is super-jealous. A source told The Enquirer, “Ryan figured that after a few months, Eva’s fascination with Larry would fade and he’d never hear the guy’s name again.” But Eva and Larry have remained close and Ryan is jelly because Larry is “rich” and “women are constantly falling at his feet”. It’s kind of amazing to think that Gosling could be jealous of Larry David.

It’s so unprofessional though, that I’m not sure he’d risk (literally) F-cking up something as important as his ‘directorial debut’.

I don’t know, I find this hard to believe. Ryan appears to take his career very seriously, and there is always stories about how he is a consummate professional on set. Getting it on with his girlfriend during working hours doesn’t seem likely.
Eva’s people probably put this story out to remind everyone that he’s still with her, and so she’s still relevant. Same with the Larry David story. Her PR is always desperate and try-hard.
How else is she going to ensure he doesn’t edit her out of the movie?

They really try so hard to make her look good. Everybody seems to forget her nasty attitude and call her a goddess. I don’t care for her at all, and no, it’s not because I’m jealous.
I find this story really hard to believe.
I doubt Ryan would be that unprofessional. His work is something he seems to take very seriously, and this is especially true of his first directorial debut. The stories about these two are always outrageous. Somebody’s people really want them marketed as a hot and sexy couple. Yet when they stand beside each other, there’s zero chemistry. Nothing. Ryan doesn’t even look at her half the time. I don’t understand this couple. Something’s always been “off.”
*sigh* What the hell has happened to him? I find it very interesting how my dislike for Eva can completely bring down my adoration for him. I used to see him as a talented, charming romantic…now all I see is pretentious, horn dog hipster. It’s sad how he has put all of his wants on the back burner just to keep this bitch around…especially when she’s ruining his image and appeal. ..so sad.. I miss the old Ryan..
Me too. He’s lost his appeal over the last 2 years, in my opinion. And it’s not just because of Eva. I have seen an air of pretentiousness becoming prevalent. Lainey has talked about this too. She mentioned something about how he needs to have a “motive” to walk across the screen in a shot, otherwise he won’t do it. He’s very aware of his fame, and as a result, his ego has become enlarged. This is what happens in show business. No matter how humble he was before, all the attention is going to his head. Him and Eva both seem to have large egos. That may be why they stay together, they are very much alike. Ryan is just better at covering it up, playing the “aw shucks” humble act. The truth will come out though, one way or another.

I agree, they both seem quite pretentious. Eva thinks she’s the most beautiful person to ever walk the earth, and often complains about it. Ryan pretends not to know millions of women would go to bed with in him a heartbeat, but he really does know, and he struts around like he owns the world. I don’t find him all that appealing.
Gosling is really average looking. Handsome is Henry Cavill, Matt Bomer, even Pierce Brosnan when much younger.
