Here are some photos of Elsa Pataky at the 2013 Yo Dona International Awards in Madrid, Spain yesterday. Chris Hemsworth was not there, at least he’s not in any of these photos and I suspect he’s currently working in LA. I don’t have the designer ID on this dress… but I do sort of like it. I mean, it’s a good choice for her, it looks good on her (really nice, athletic) body and it’s flattering. Is the see-through gauzy quality of the material kind of tacky? Sure. Is she just some gold thread away from showing the world EVERYTHING? Yep. But it works.
I actually forget that Elsa is Spanish. My first associations with her were from her relationships with Adrian Brody (RIP, Brody’s Castle) and Olivier Martinez, which means that I always think of her as more American/Canadian/French rather than Spanish. But she is Spanish, and coming to this Madrid awards show was some kind of homecoming for her. Hilariously, it looks like she won an award too. Was it for her Oscar-worthy work in the Fast & Furious franchise? Or was it for marrying Chris Hemsworth?
As for Chris… he’s confirmed for The Avengers 2, and Robert Downey Jr. just signed on for two Avengers sequels yesterday as well. Which means that Chris’s career is still going like gangbusters and they’ll be making Thor movies and Avengers movies for years to come. In fact, Chris’s superhero scheduling is so jam-packed that he’s turning down other projects because of scheduling. RDJ is getting a reported $50 million for two more Avengers movies. I wonder how much Chris is getting? I wonder if Elsa realized what a good bet she made when she married him?

I agree. That’s the problem with sheer fabrics like that. They pucker at the seams so the whole dress looks cheap. I’ll be sort of glad when this trend is over.

I JUST realized who this chick is and I saw the new Fast movie two weeks ago. LMAO she was barely in it. She was in the first few minutes of the movie and the last few minutes. I think she had a total of 4 lines…seriously.
I had no idea it was so little screen time, but that seems right. The film is all cars, stunts, and special effects. Dialog is not critical to that franchises success.

I’m sure they avoided her like the plague. During The Avengers press tour I don’t think Elsa was around much being that she was pregnant. She only attended the LA Premiere and gave birth in early May of 2012.
Sunrise and Susan are probably keeping their distance as well. I’m sure they know what a famewhore she is and what she did to my boy Brody.

This hairstyle is new for her (I think she cut it after she had her baby) she used to have long hair and looked like every other blonde in hollywood. I think it’s a cute cut. It’s very flattering on her.

I was thrilled to hear that RDJ was returning for AV 2 & 3 but I didn’t really doubt it. But I heard the offer was for more than 50 mil. I wonder if there is another side deal or something like that. I also wish they would film the films back to back the way they did with LOTR, Matrix 2&3 as well as the last two Twlights.
Avengers isnt POTC, which was riding mostly on Depp, Marvel really cant afford to pay RDJ much more than the current deal…they have to maintain a big cast whose fees are going up bc of their own franchises. Plus these movies have insane production and marketing costs. I really wish I could get my hands on all that math and see for myself.
Yes I know the production cost is going to be huge. But Marvel is smart, as cheap as they are they knew that they needed RDJ on board to make this work again. As much as I hate to say this because I love these two men; they would have had no problem recasting Evans and Hemsworth.
I love the way RDJ stepped up for his castmates. It makes me wonder if he decided to take a paycut in order for his friends to get a decent salary. It was reported that he was asking for 100 mil for the two films. Even with the production cost of the first Avenger Marvel almost made their money back opening weekend. Production cost was 220 mil; opening weekend gross 200 mil.
I am thrilled RDJ will be back. I just hope that people take note of his age and stop holding women to different standards. He’s going to be 50 and that’s wonderful. But that means we need women older than 30 in these franchises too. You know?
@J.eyre As I understand it as of today Hemsworth has not been confirmed. If he has they have not released the info as of yet. Whedon believes he will be back and if Whedon is sure I feel confident that we will see that blonde Adonis in AV 2&3. As much as I love my hubby RDJ, I want to be able to drool over my lover CHemboy as well.

Do either of you have a link that confirms Chris signed on for Avengers 2? I see the stories that RDJ did and I know he said he wouldn’t unless the others were compensated but I see nothing that confirms anyone else is secured.

Before the plastic surgery Elsa was not that attractive therefore she was not born a natural beauty. As for the post-surgery, yes she is pretty but I would not consider her a fierce beauty( For example like Angelina Jolie back in her day). There is nothing jaw dropping about her. Elsa is forgettable and a dime a dozen Hollywood chick.

She’s a CList at best actress who is trying to rise to fame by dating popular male actors. She was with Adrian Brody when his star was on the rise. After she had him buy that damn castle like mansion for her she dumped him for Olivier Martinez who she started dating two days after she dumped Brody. She has now sunk her teeth into Chris Hemsworth and sealed the deal with a baby. She has become notorious as of late for being photographed by the paparazzi. Most of us believe it’s because she alerts them of her whereabouts so they could get shots of her and Chris. She’s even being papped when Chris is not around. She is what they call a famewhore. You might recognize her from Fast Five and 6. Her role was reduced in the 6th installment of that film and thank my lucky stars for that. That’s the skinny on this broad.

The dress is okay but surely there must have been better choices than this frock. I think her bone structure is fabulous and her body is amazing but I agree that the hair color washes her out and she would look better with a darker color.

At her last pictures posted in loose dresses I though EP was probably pregnant,but no sign here in this form fitting dress. I vote for “Tacky” because it looks like this dress shows skin all except for little places embroidered on the dress and because she’s a wife and mother not some stripper, or is she? Gosh, does this women ever wear anything classy for these events? I suppose this is conservative for her as she’s used to going naked all the time. What I question is how a husband could be thrilled about all the nudity and things she’s done? I suppose we call it “Movie star” but I think her mentality is a stripper and an exhibitionist.
