    Oooooh love this 😍
I can even overlook jlaw overacting

  2. mia girl says:

    OHHHHH MYYYYYYY GODDDDD!

    Can’t wait.
And I think my ovaries might explode:
James McAvoy AND Oscar Issac in the same movie!

    • ichsi says:

      I KNOOOOWWWWW
Even if Isaac looks like a totally not scary blue popsicle. But I squealed when I saw how Charles heavy the trailer was. Can’t get enough of McAvoy.

      • Mayamae says:

In Days of Future Past, I loved when Charles shouted at Magneto, “You abandoned me!” It’s the best relationship in the series, in my opinion.

  3. Snazzy says:

This looks great!! I love X Men Movies! Does that make me a big loser? I don’t care. YAAAAAAAYYYY!

  4. InvaderTak says:

If Ultron and an ice giant had a baby….

    • Ankhel says:

Ultron is sorta one of Starks creations, and Loki is the only giant likely to come to Earth. Stark would throw a fit!

  5. me says:

Kendall Jenner’s outfit looks ok to me.

  6. that time i didn't care says:

I thought we just had an X-Men movie? *superhero fatigue sets in*

I do love James McAvoy, though.

  7. Momoko says:

ALL RIGHT!!! I hope this one sticks closer to the comic arc. And, I am satisfied that they hired an Asian actor to play Jubilee, and not some white chick 😀

  8. lila fowler says:

Eh, the movie doesn’t look that great. But this site is biased toward all things Marvel and has a serious chip on its shoulder over DC Comics, so…

    • nora says:

Agree, this was such a boring trailer. We got a few weird shots of James, Jennifer’s bloated face, and some explosions. Woop-dee-doo.

    • Jag says:

Agreed. I wasn’t drawn in and having Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique just doesn’t cut it because she does nothing to represent the character well. I will end up watching it if it ever is on Netflix and I’m bored. (And I’m a big X-Men fan!)

  9. RandomGirl says:

Every time I see Nick Jonas I think about Señor Senior Junior from Kim Possible.

  10. Vesta says:

Unfortunately, to me it looks about the same as all the other superhero movies.
Two endless hours of crashing & smashing & exploding with some pretty pointless imaginary characters. I’m sorry!

  11. Renee says:

Totally a X-men fan but I was completely underwhelmed by this cheap-looking overacted trailer. Hope the next trailer is better/

  12. Norman Bates's Mother says:

Those looney comments in the wrath of the Cumberbitches post seem oddly familiar. I’d like to think that these are the same women, who got cruelly personal and almost made me quit this site for good a few months ago for saying something vaguely positive about Sophie, and not that there is more than one group.

My very own conspiracy theory – what if ruining his carefully built good reputation was not a mishap (or Sophie’s master manipulations), but Cumberbatch’s conscious choice to scare away people like that? They are discussing a possibility of hiring a hitman to kill his wife – it’s not funny anymore.

    • antipodean says:

Norman Bates’s Mother, please don’t let nasty people stop you coming to our beloved CB. Your comments are always interesting and welcome. Just ignore those who get unnecessarily cruel and personal, we are not all like that, and a good dose of ignoring them is the best medicine to deal with, and dismiss them.
On another note, can Sir Pat win all the Golden Globes already. He is hilarious in Blunt Talk, and it is one of the funniest thing on the telly in my opinion. His body is quite banging, at any age. Also, Adrian Scarborough will have you rolling on the floor, his character is side splittingly funny.

    • Ankhel says:

Crazies are everywhere, I’m afraid. Can’t stand those who advocate murder, but see them every now and then on various sites. It’s so sad – these places should be an escape from a reality that has only too much death and too many loons. Don’t leave – we need to keep those sane and friendly voices, Norman Bates’s Mother.

And now: ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. I had to see the trailer without sound. So, is it the story of how explosives and endless dramatic posing caused Charles Xavier’s hair to fall off? Because I’m not sure I’ll pay to see that.

    • Norman Bates's Mother says:

Thank you both, but it was months ago – I’m not going anywhere. I was oblivious to the delusion of some fandoms and took those comments personally, when I shouldn’t have, but I educated myself on the subject since then and I just feel sorry for all the people involved. I can just shrug it off or laugh at them, but I’d be scared if I was a celebrity with similar following. The guy who killed John Lennon was a delusional fan at first too.

  13. Yana says:

Sophie Turner is such a bad actress.

    • Alyce says:

I think she’s fantastic. She slays as Sansa in my opinion!

      • Josefina says:

I think she’s a great Sansa too, but maybe it is because she IS a bad actress, after all. Sansa as a character is always acting, so the fact her lines sound so memorized and flat fits perfectly for her.

But that’s the only role I know of her. I need to see more.

    • kai says:

Yana, I agree! She is so wooden to me. Only has one expression. She annoys me.

  14. Betti says:

James McAoy bald – yum. Thats all i have on this trailer.

  15. Incognito says:

I was a huge X-Men fan growing up and would fantasize about who would play them in a movie (Patrick Stewart was always Professor X. Julia Roberts was my go to for Rogue. Harry Connik Jr was Gambit, but this was the early to mid 90’s). I was disappointed by the original 3 movies mostly because of what they did to Rogue. I liked the New Class and love James McAvoy as Xavier. Days of future past was ok but mostly because I didn’t care for the “present day” mutants (Halle berry’s Storm, Iceman and Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde. Iceman and Storm seemed one dimensional. The original story had Kitty go back but Hugh Jackman is a bigger star.). All that said- I enjoy Hugh’s Wolverine and Evan Peters as Quicksiver. I’m looking forward to this movie and I think the trailer looked pretty good.

While this is a Marvel movie, it’s not a Marvel Studios movie. Fox has made some mistakes with their Marvel properties and X-Men is not immune to those mistakes. But the cast looks good and I’m hoping it will be a fun popcorn movie.

  16. CornyBlue says:

Though i genuinely lose my ass over the MCU, the new X Men cast that is the XMFC cast is my favorite out of all the superhero movie casts. They seem so genuinely close and i feel it hugely translates to screen. Did not like the trailer though. Editing is bad and Sophie Turner is really bad in the two scenes she is in. Also they did Lucas Till so dirty. He looks like he hasnt washed in 7 years.

  17. iheartjacksparrow says:

That trailer needs more Evan Peters.

    • Ankhel says:

Yes! I absolutely loved him in the last X-Men movie. He stole every scene he was in.

      • Josefina says:

He did! His work in the movie is proof there’s no such thing as small roles, just small actors. His 7 minutes of screentime were the best of the movie (and I LOVED the whole movie).

  18. velcrodots says:

Really good, huh? I am incredibly indifferent to this trailer, it was meh.

    • MeToo says:

You already know how every one of them – even those they haven’t written yet – will end. Great special effects but doesn’t nothing for me. The we’re here to save the world theme was exhausted a long time ago.

  19. SusanneToo says:

Have Tilda and Idris ever worked together? I’d slog through quicksand for that.

  20. ali.hanlon says:

X-Men look great except for Katniss-Jlaw. Turn down the acting! Glad this is her last movie in the francise!

  21. anon says:

    this trailer needs more Fassbender

  22. Fluff says:

    Holy shit that Cumberbatch article.

And you know some of the ‘skeptics’ post here, they’re not even subtle about it.

    *gets popcorn*

  23. Abigail says:

I’ll be glad when the youngsters in the trailer take over the X-Men and I can stop watching them. I’m only there for Fassbender–when he’s gone, so am I!
