Teresa Giudice attends first post-prison event in fur, leather, snakeskin & Chanel

These are photos of Teresa Giudice and her daughter Gia, 15, at the opening of Teresa’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga’s shoe store, Envy. Teresa is wearing more makeup than she would require for any kind of stage performance, as usual, and she’s combined just about every fabric known to man in that outfit, which is pretty fug but I supposed it could be trashier considering whom we’re talking about. She has a fur jacket (assuming it’s real and I think that’s a safe assumption), leather boots, a faux snakeskin shirt (assuming it’s faux) and pants in some kind of splotchy print. All she needs is some mesh to complete the look. She looks like she’s dressed as Gemma from Sons of Anarchy on a fancy night out. #FelonChic (Credit: Kaiser.)

I’m not going to say anything about Gia’s outfit because she’s 15. But, you know, she’s also in fur because of course. Maybe one or both of those jackets are fake. Maybe the Chanel purse Teresa is carrying is fake or she rented it from Bag Borrow or Steal. Still, that would cost over $400 a month from BBOS and Teresa just got out of prison for stealing millions of dollars yet she’s carrying a Chanel purse and driving a $90k car.

When asked about her favorite post prison activities, Teresa said they were to “shop and eat.”

Let freedom ring! Teresa Giudice made her first official post-prison debut at her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga’s boutique opening in Montclair, New Jersey, on Thursday, January 14, and looked amazing.

“I’m doing really good,” Giudice tells Us Weekly at the event. “I feel great…

“Family is the most important thing to me and coming here to support her and my family is amazing,” the cookbook author — whose brother, Joe, is married to Melissa — adds to Us. She also revealed her favorite things to do right now with Gia are to “shop and eat.”

[From Us Magazine]

Us Magazine is also reporting that Teresa is getting along great with Melissa Gorga, which makes sense because Teresa just gave Melissa’s boutique a ton of publicity. They also report that she’s made up with Jaqueline Laurita from RHONJ, with whom she formerly had some kind of beef – I don’t keep up with all the drama on the Real Housewives shows. This visit to Melissa’s boutique was attended by other castmembers of RHONJ and was taped for the show.

Teresa’s husband Joe goes to prison in March to serve his 41 month sentence.

How does she do all these things on house arrest? I thought there were a lot of restrictions that went along with an ankle monitor? Her life has picked up like nothing ever happened. Smh.

    • Karen says:

House arrest usually has a loophole about leaving the house for work. I guess it’s a paid appearance.

    • Froggy says:

I guess you don’t learn your lesson when you serve time in a country club prison? She’s not at all humbled from her stay.

    • Boo says:

If remembering correctly, house arrest is now over. ??

      • lucy2 says:

I think you’re right – the house arrest was shockingly brief.

I’m so disgusted by these people, who continue to live like nothing happened.

      • Mare says:

She’s suppose to be on house arrest for two months. She got out on Dec 21st which means she’s served less than a month.

  2. Pedro45 says:

My parents would have killed me if I had dressed that way at 15, not posed in a picture with me.

    • INeedANap says:

Yeah, something about knee high boots, a crop top, fur coat, and a Kabuki-mask’s worth of makeup seems really not OK for a teenager. Still more covered up than Kylie Jenner at that age? Ugh.

    • Dani says:

My parents would kill me if I dress that way now, at 25.

    • Jwoolman says:

She’s a kid. She’s at a fancy event with mom. She looks happy. She’s ok.

      • Tate says:

I disagree that she is ok. She has criminals for parents who are teaching her that lying and stealing is a-ok. Trash, trash, trash.

    • Stephanie says:

I would not have been allowed to wear that kind of outfit in my teen years.

  3. Arock says:

    That hairline…..it’s back….

    • INeedANap says:

I don’t understand that hairline. And I suspect I couldn’t pick her out of a lineup if she wasn’t wearing makeup.

…kinda feel bad for her daughter, just for being stuck with those parents.

      • Jwoolman says:

Of all the things to criticize her for- the hairline shouldn’t even be in the list. It’s genetic, what is she supposed to do about it? Looks fine to me, just different.

    • lisa says:

she’s clearly spending lots of money on lots of junk that doesnt make her look better, why not get that lasered? she looks like a cro magnon exhibit at the museum of natural history

      • Jwoolman says:

I didn’t even notice until snarky people here started snarking about it. That’s how unimportant it is. It’s just a little lower on the forehead than most people have, as far as I can tell. It doesn’t look bad at all.

  4. lassie says:

    You stay classy, T.

Ah, Montclair. The Paris of New Jersey.

  5. Wren33 says:

I could snark about her all day, but honestly, the picture made me smile just imagining how happy her daughters are to have her back.

    • Jwoolman says:

Yes, the kids must be having a tough time with all this even though they would be better off being adopted by a nice local wolf family who would wisely keep them off camera. They must have really missed their mom. And they won’t see their dad except on visiting days for a very long time and after that will need to travel to Italy to see him. Family is family, no matter how flawed.

  6. Kat says:

Given the horrific process involved in the production of fur coats, I don’t think I should be flagged for saying, “Bitch!”

    • sara says:

I don’t care if I am flagged or not. Teresa Giudice is a big entitled bitchy, bitch, bitch!! Who should still be ashamed for stealing millions of dollars from innocent people and walking around free after serving a small sentence.

    • Stephanie says:

I agree, it makes me so sad. I never, ever wear fur.

  7. Kitten says:

    That outfit suits her: hideous.

Her daughter: sigh. She does have beautiful hair so I guess that’s……something……

    • Lama Bean says:

I actually think her daughter is very beautiful. Very striking features. It’s just that other things piled on top of the beauty (like fur, heavy makeup and crop tops) cover it up.

  8. Karen says:

I never fully followed the trial but they claimed they didn’t have the money to pay people back, they spent/are spending time in jail, but didn’t lose the house they couldn’t afford, or luxury items (jewelry, art, etc.)?

    • Dani says:

I think I read something, here actually, saying that the house/their possessions weren’t worth much or at least enough to pay back the debts. I can’t remember fully but there was an actual reasoning as to why they kept their gaudy items.

      • Josephine says:

Even if the possessions are not enough to pay people back in full, they are typically still sold to make a partial payment (the debt then remains as to the rest). But rich people seem to hide and get away with so much. I don’t get it at all.

      • Lille says:

Most of the clothes they wear for taping the show are loaned. I have noticed in housewives shows that you will often notice them all wearing a similar coat, or earrings. That means they were promotional items. Since t and Gia are both wearing similar fur coats, I bet that the designer loaning or gifting pieces for this episode does fur coats. The boats probably came from Melissa’s store, since it is a show store. The rest they might own, or also have gifted. I have heard it is in their housewives contracts that they have to wear different outfits to each event, so it is obvious when it is a different day. They get a stipend for the clothes. So…. All that to say she is not really using her own cash to buy stuff. I do think she could sell stuff on eBay after she has worn it, and probably make some extra money that way. Hopefully she would used it to pay back creditors.

  9. MelissaManifesto says:

I’m glad Teresa is back with her children, they need their parents by their side especially when young. That said, Teresa is not your normal just got out of prison type of woman, she does not have to struggle to find a job or a place to live and stained with a criminal record that would require money to seal or expunge. If anything, she’ll get rewarded for her stint with books, interviews, magazine covers, even her own show if needed. This is only the beginning for Teresa,

I hope our society becomes more supportive of people who might have made a mistake that cost them their freedom and help them get back on their feet.

    • anne_000 says:

They keep their kids believing that their mother is innocent but was put in jail because of a ‘mistake’ made mostly by others and her conviction was based on a technicality.

Her stance has always been that she innocently did the wrong thing and that she didn’t know what she was doing and that it was the fault of everybody else, including her attorney and her accountant and the government guy that went around inventorying their possessions.

1st, no, it wasn’t a mistake. She knew what she was doing.

2nd, until she finally accepts that she’s to blame for her own actions and admits that to her kids and that it wasn’t just a technicality based on other people’s faults, then why should anybody support her in anything?

    • anon33 says:

Excuse me, but no. This b8tch has not ONCE admitted that she did anything wrong, and she continues to act entitled as evidenced by what she is wearing here. Please read Giddy’s comment below if you don’t get it.

People like that don’t deserve my support.

    • FishOutOfWater says:

Amen. It really saddens me the way that White Collar Crime (and Corporate Violence) are treated in this country. A man/woman can be arrested and imprisoned for up to 5 years (with parole) for failing to pay the state, or possessing herb/psychedelics yet a man/woman can embezzle millions OR spill billions of gallons of oil into the Gulf and be released in 1 year with no parole.
The justice system is broken. I’m glad It worked in Theresa’s favor, but let’s be honest, she’ll spend at least 1 year paying back those lawyers who helped finagle her sentence.

  10. Scarlet Vixen says:

Why is her 15 yr old dressed like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman??

Some people just have no f*cking clue. And the sad thing is they get away with it. It just makes me SO mad–so many people struggling to make an HONEST living and support their family, and then we have a**holes like this flaunting being crooks.

  11. Chelly says:

    Gaudy, flashy, & trashy….typical Guidice-style

  12. FLORC says:

She’s releasing all the stored up “tacky” at once.

  13. Debutante says:

God, I hate that they are from New Jersey. So much.

    Signed,

    New Jersey Resident

    • lucy2 says:

Me too. Their “beach” house was in my old neighborhood too. Last year the cops were called for some big ruckus there, and the year before they threw a big fit about paying beach badge fees, screaming obscenities at the teenage worker, and only paid once the cops were called. Hopefully now that they lost that house, they don’t come here anymore. They’re a nuisance.

      • Debutante says:

They are so tacky. A total embarrassment to NJ.
And Italian Americans. Which I am also . First generation.
I have too much in common with Theresa G. Yeesh.
Unfortunately, the size of my house is not one of them.

  14. swak says:

And why is the opening of this store such a big deal that there is a red carpet for it? Did they film this for the show? I don’t get it. Some one please explain!

  15. anne_000 says:

From what I saw, Teresa refused to allow Melissa visitation to the prison. But apparently she’s not above using Melissa’s store opening for her own personal gain and then getting credit for being able to be friendly with Melissa.

    • Jwoolman says:

Can’t blame her for limiting visitation to just a few immediate family members. She only had short periods to be with her kids, why waste any time with more peripheral people in her life?

      • Bridget says:

Melissa Gorga is actually her sister-in-law, married to Teresa’s brother. So it’s not just some random RH cast member. And didn’t she make a big deal about not wanting her kids to see her in prison?

      • anne_000 says:

        @ Jwoolman

She could have allowed Melissa to come at the same time as Joe (her brother) went.

      • anne_000 says:

        @ Bridget

        True.

Didn’t she say that she wanted her kids to think she was going to prison to get stories to write a book?

And before that, she and Joe wouldn’t talk to her children (sans Gia) about her sentencing and going to prison. Even Andy Cohen was confused about that.

      • Jwoolman says:

Just because Melissa is her sister-in-law doesn’t mean she’s important enough in T.’s life to want Melissa to come see her in prison. Her brother, yes. His wife- not unless they really are besties. It’s not like she was at a spa or vacationing in Hawaii. I’m sure that even T. was self-conscious about the whole prison thing and that would affect who she felt comfortable seeing on visiting day.

      • Hadleyb says:

You are extremely pro “T”. Are you friends with her? Family? Its utterly ridiculous how you are ok with everything she has done and is doing.

    • Bridget says:

And for getting out of the house for a ‘work’ event and getting her picture taken. Don’t forget that part.

  16. Neelyo says:

I wish all of the Real Housewives would be deported.

  17. Harryg says:

    GO AWAY already.

  18. suzanne says:

    Gross.

That look really screams: Nouveau Broke Inmate chic 🙂

  19. Giddy says:

Imagine if your husband was a plumber or electrician who was never paid for working on their hideous house. Or if you owned a shop where Teresa ran up huge unpaid bills. Then you see pictures of her carrying a Chanel bag, with an armful of gold bracelets. I would be so angry and frustrated over seeing this. I assume that store owners now have T. on a strict cash basis.

  20. My Two Cents says:

These real housewives are such a joke. Especially most of these NJ ones are in debt up to their eyeballs, and flaunt around like they are part of the 1%’ers. Their best earnings come from being on these ridiculously edited “reality” shows. Can’t believe anyone still watches them.

  21. bcgirl says:

Can we talk about her soul-less stare out of those dead eyes?
not a human. Maybe that’s why she swaths herself in animal skins and furs.

  22. Konspiracytheory says:

“All she needs is some mesh to complete the look.” – lol

  23. ara says:

    “I am doing good”

Really, garbage? What ‘good’ are you ‘doing’? Feeding hungry kids?

    Illiterate trash…

  24. Me ThreeI says:

In one of Celebitchy’s pieces on this woman there was a photo of her in jail. She looked better. That makeup. Those clothes. I’ve never watched RHONJ or any of the other RH series because well…look at these people.

  25. go girl says:

Her daughter is beautiful, but 15?!?! Oy vey.

  26. Pinetree13 says:

Thanks for the update. Why does Joe go in March and not end of January? I thought the sentence was only delayed until their mother got out so if she was out dec 21 he should have gone in January at least. They get a whole two months together? How is that fair?

  27. A Fan says:

Ridiculous fool. Trying to look young.

[*And the young one trying to look old*]
