Your husband cheats on you with a trampire? Become the trophy wife to a billionaire. Jimmy Iovine has cheated on all of his wives and girlfriends, but at least she’s not supporting him while he cheats on her like her first husband.

    • Pandy says:

The best revenge is marrying money and power – more money and power than the ex. Good for her!!!!

    • Easypeasy123 says:

Uhhh he’s only been married one other time and they were together for decades. It’s possible he is cheater but you’re obviously not as knowledgeable as you think

      • Louise says:

Nicole Scherzinger. Vicky Iovine knew he cheated on her but like a lot of wives of rich men she turned her head as long as it was kept discreet, Jimmy worked in the music business with rappers and rock stars…. you honestly think he was faithful with the access he had?

      • Nikki says:

I was thinking of Nicole Scherzinger as well. My gosh she must of been weeping. She was his side piece for so long!

Jimmy’s getting old. For some men, it get’s harder to cheat. Liberty can outlive him.

    • Louise says:

Rupert Sanders directed lots of very successful ads and computer games and was hardly poor. Snow White was his first feature but he was working for years and also did music videos. How do you think he could afford to pay the divorce settlement? Liberty hadn’t worked in years, she was living off of his money,

      • Pmnichols says:

They probably have THE best record collection ever. Go ahead cheat!!! *puts on headset sitting in a five million dollar living room surrounded by piles and piles of records.

  2. kri says:

Always stay gracious, best revenge is your papers. Get it, Liberty. I hope Ruprecht of whatever the f@ck his name was is happy directing local used car commercials.

  3. bcgirl says:

Just think of all of the furs she can buy now.
    (gag)

  4. Eggland's worst says:

I have no idea who these two people are and I’m way too lazy to google them, but congratulations I guess. As long as they are happy.

    • Farah says:

The woman is the wife of the guy Kristen Stewart cheated with. The guy is JImmy Iovine. He’s one of the most powerful men in the music industry. He was a succesfuld music producer turned CEO of Interscope Records turned co-founder of Beats with Dr. Dre turned CEO of Apple Music. He’s a pretty big behind the scenes guy.

    • suze says:

Jimmy Iovine’s ex wife wrote The Girlfriend’s Guide to Pregnancy books.

  5. Jenns says:

Nothing happened in that Star Wars teaser. Nothing.

    But.

    IT MADE ME SO EXCITED!!!!

  6. Jaded says:

I’m sure she married him for his looks and personality.

  7. Tiffany says:

So does alimony end with the party who receives it remarries. Or is that only in the movies/television.

    • Tia says:

What happens to alimony depends on what’s in the separation agreement. However, I don’t think she got alimony, just child support. Also, I’m fairly sure a lot of the marital assets were bought with her money so I think she may well have lost money on the divorce.

Oops, I’ve just checked – she apparently got 4 years spousal support, I assume because she had to give up her successful career in Europe when she moved to the US for his career. I don’t think she’s very well known in the US is she?

      • Lou says:

They didn’t move for his career, she wanted to move too because she was tired of modelling, she said this in an interview. She also really wasn’t near major like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Her family is well to do and knew Mario Testino which was her ‘in’ into the business. He did her a lot of favors as i doubt she would have been a model without some strings. She isn’t even that tall. I live in the UK and never heard or saw her before all this went down.

      • bluhare says:

Pretty sure someone I know (who moved to Australia and I lost contact) knows her. She was living in London and knew the fashion crowd and her good friend was named Liberty. I’ve thought of my friend a few times since the scandal broke, wondering how she’s doing and what she thinks of all this!

      • Bridget says:

Liberty got a CRAZY settlement in that divorce – alimony, and a percentage of everything that Rupert worked on in the future. Is that still going to happen now that she’s remarried?

  8. doofus says:

latest (and funniest) part of the Trump v. Bush feud?

Bush let his domain ownership run out and guess who bought JebBush.com? You guessed it. now Jeb!’s website redirects to Trumps! You can’t make this stuff up…

    • What was that says:

Just curious at the moment..do you think he might win the nomination?..What is the feeling over there??

  9. HK9 says:

Instead of getting caught in the emotional quicksand that can come along with a public divorce, she’s moved on with her life and handled her situation gracefully. I’m happy for her.

    • Lou says:

She has given interviews about her private life since, even talking about hiring a crisis manager immediately to do publicity for her. She also got with Iovine pretty much straight away but kept it on the downlow for a few months so it wouldn’t look too bad while the press sympathised with her as a jilted wife. She admits her marriage was over at that point.

  10. Guesto says:

Stephen Fry needs to take a long drink of ‘Seriously Get Over Yourself’.

Either stay away from twitter or stop with the ridiculous petulance anytime anyone dares to question something you’ve said. Twitter is no place for someone whose need to be cosseted is as all-consuming and logic-defying as yours.

    • Sixer says:

Stephen Fry leaving Twitter is a bit like Groundhog Day, I grant you.

On the other hand, it could well be a coping mechanism. There are constant stresses when you do his type of narcissistic job AND you are bipolar. So it’s probably for the best. Even better if he went quietly on his periodic breaks, but he never does!

It’s not as though he won’t be back.

      • Guesto says:

Sixer, I’ve long time been sympathetic to his bipolar nature but there comes a point where it just can’t be used as an excuse for his serious lack of grace where interaction with the ‘hoi polloi’ is concerned. He seems incapable of taking even the tiniest responsibility for the increasingly regular social media missteps he takes, and this particular one could have been put to bed so easily and gracefully, were he not such a petulant, foot-stamping control freak.

      • Sixer says:

Mr Sixer and I just got through watching his bipolar doco update that was screened on the BBC yesterday, so I may be more sympathetic than I usually would!

I do agree that Fry regularly displays the kind of posh boy entitlement and narcissistic reflex that would usually send me up the wall with fury. I don’t doubt there’s a strain of not liking to be challenged by uppity plebs in him.

My problem is this: we can never know whether we’re dealing with his vices or his illness at any particular time. Therefore, I find it best just to be one of the three wise monkeys when he does something like this. I would hope the people in his life know when to challenge and when to help, though.

      • What was that says:

I too watched the programme on his deteriorating disability but there is a but ..I also read a very interesting piece on his hosting and how tired it now is,from the Grauniad..the Guardian newspaper to the uninitiated due to its once terrible spelling/print errors!….and I am feeling that his Gay Skit (apologies for spelling errors!).. is getting tired as is the jokes..it was quite interesting about the generation gap that he displays in his comments about his ‘gayness’ and some felt that he was kept as he appeals to the US audience as an Upper Crust type of joker…I too felt some of the comments had been used too often before in his hosting and that is Jenny Bevan is his great friend why make that comment in a private situation not for the world to hear..Those observation were from across the LGBT community not just from some Twitter users…

      • Guesto says:

I want to be sympathetic, I really do (because I like and want to continue liking him) but he’s making it so hard of late.

And without being unsympathetic, his illness is just not a good enough excuse for his entitled petulance.

      • Sixer says:

I know. The incidents are piling up. And they are often opinions that can’t be written off, not behavioural episodes that could be one thing or the other. I’m still hanging in there, though!

(For the Bevan comment: I think that was as much a transatlantic humour fail as anything. We’d expect that more in Britland. I doubt Bevan was bothered. But they do pick Britishers for that very reason, don’t they? See also: Gervais. Perhaps Fry should just consider it a lesson learned: don’t be the useful idiot at awards shows!)

      • Tina says:

Gervais was about eight times sharper than Fry. Gervais knows exactly what he’s doing and does it very well. Fry has been coasting for years and it looks really shabby.

    • Kate says:

Perhaps he and Kanye can go to fame seekers anonymous to get over themselves?

    • Scal says:

How many times has he quit social media now? 5? 6? I’ve lost count.

    • msd says:

Fry is someone I used to think was mildly amusing back when he wasn’t everywhere. Now he’s just an immature, thin-skinned, narcissistic, cliched posh buffoon who goes off at people at the drop of a hat and then cries foul when anyone criticises him.

      • Anne tommy says:

I’m kind of with you there. His Twitter ” Exit statement” was tres tres pretentious. Abuse of celebrities or anyone else is not acceptable, but criticism is; frankly he wants to be able to dish it out but can’t take it.

  11. HeyThere! says:

The best revenge is happiness. They look happy and well paired.

  12. Louise says:

Jimmy Iovine had an affair with Nicole Scherzinger among many others so its not like Liberty can pass judgement on anyone. It seems to me that it’s what both of them need at this point. Liberty enjoys his money and connections (she is trying to set up an acting career but she hasn’t done anything in years – don’t be surprised when she’s announced in one of Apple’s new TV ventures) and he’s probably tired of fking around and wants a family life and somebody who can be a socialite and attend the parties with him. And though she is young enough to be his daughter she’s heading for 40 so he doesn’t look too skeevy/stereotypical old rich man. Not saying their isn’t any love or affection there, but would she look at him if he was a retired plumber? I think he’s gross!

    • perplexed says:

“Jimmy Iovine had an affair with Nicole Scherzinger among many others so its not like Liberty can pass judgement on anyone.”

Honestly, she never struck me as much of a judgmental type. She seemed to be the only person who never called Kristen Stewart a “trampire.” I think part of the reason Stewart was able to weather the scandal is because the wife wasn’t casting stones at her (or the husband).

I do think her ex-husband is kind of dumb for letting her go though. This lady seems smart in terms of knowing how to leverage failures into opportunities — she probably could have managed his career and gotten him more work with that kind of savvy!

    • michkabibbles says:

“would she look at him if he were a plumber?”

I’m sorry, but I hate these kinds of comments. Do you think he would have married her if she wasn’t beautiful and a model (ex-model?)? She could be brilliant, kind and generous, but if she were plain and/or 20 pounds overweight he wouldn’t give her the time of day. Let’s not pretend that the woman is the only one getting anything out of marriages like this. “She must be a golddigger because he’s slightly unattractive” is such a sexist cliche.

      • Truthful says:

        @Michkabibbles:

That is two very VERY different points: she is beautiful , an objective point with or without money….. and he is….. well rich, and money in his case makes the BIG difference.

So Louise point is a very valid one ! IF he was a plumber she wouldn’t even notice his existence… if she was a housekleener he would still being looking at her with google eyes!

““She must be a golddigger because he’s slightly unattractive” is such a sexist cliche.” No. It’s not. when you add OLD and Rich in the mix it looks very much like a goldigger.

The guy is 63 yrs old, Ugly and rich…. when marrying a beautiful 37 yrs everyone assume that she is doing so for a very clear purpose. Not sexist!

You know what is sexist? Assuming that the only thing a woman can have going for her is her physical appearance!

  13. Nothing heals wounds quicker than a rich man. 🙂

  14. Zaytabogota says:

Good for her, she kept her head high, maintained her dignity and upgraded to a billionaire. Her ex is probably crying over how he messed up his life and career over a girl who staged the pap shots to get caught. You could tell, she was looking at the cameras!!!!!

    • Jayna says:

Upgraded to an average-looking 63-year-old billionaire is something to be envied? How much money do you need to be happy in life?

Upgraded should be about love and happiness, not, nah, nah, nah, nah, I married a billionaire. No offense, but he is 63 and not particularly handsome, no matter how powerful he is. She’s only 37. So for her I hope she is really in love and marrying for love.

And she’s admitted they were outgrowing their marriage anyway. she doesn’t consider him evil or a horrible person. She wants him to be happy also. And his career shouldn’t have been destroyed over some photos of him kissing an actress. He’s a director, not some beloved actor who pretended to be a faithful husband. It sure didn’t destroy Tim Burton’s career, caught kissing his assistant, and his relationship breaking up with kids, nor should it destroy a person’s career behind the scenes in movie-making.

      • hmmm says:

“Upgraded should be about love and happiness, not, nah, nah, nah, nah, I married a billionaire.”

I agree, Jayna. I think living *well* is still the best revenge. Not living shallowly.

      • Truthful says:

        @Jayna: Totally agree!

  15. Farhi says:

Not my idea of a happy ending. This is a marriage of convenience for both of them most likely.
if that is what both of them want that is their business. But it is not a future one should aspire to.

  16. kay says:

Ha, the only thing plus sized on the male models are the facial hair on the first, and the chest hair on the second. Cute dudes, yes. Plus size, no.

    • Kate says:

Thank you. I thought perhaps I had missed a joke. My very slim husband would be considered obese if that guy is plus sized!!

  17. anna says:

people say good for her. but it is she really winning. she is marrying a much older man who at this point in his life is very unlikely to cheat with a younger woman. She is settling or repeating the same cycle er husband did

    • Tamara says:

He will easily cheat with any girl determined to have a singing career. She’s marrying money, so I believe she knows what she’s getting into. I pray for her kids sake, that there is love and devotion between the two.

  18. It’s funny reading these comments and seeing how seriously people seem to take all this celebrity gossip bullshit. We don’t even know these people. 🙂

    • Zombie Shortcake says:

Yeah, there are some humorless posters on the site for whom celeb gossip is SERIOUS BUSINESS. I agree it’s pretty remarkable.

    • Kelly says:

I agree. For all we know, it could be a love match. There has to be more to his personality to be so successful in such a dog eat dog world. I adored Vicki Iovine’s books, and she had nothing but good to say about him. He very well could be a charismatic older guy.

      Stop with the cyncism.

  19. Littlebowbee says:

    Good on you Liberty! Enjoy.

  20. perplexed says:

I don’t think this billionaire is attractive (probably because I”m way out of his age range), but her first husband wasn’t THAT good-looking for his age, so maybe she doesn’t mind this guy’s 62 year old looks.

Of all the directors Kristen could have chosen to have an affair with, I think Sanders was a bit of a weird choice, if we’re strictly talking about physical looks.

    • Tamara says:

I will always question what went down between the two of them. Those pictures of them were awfully close. Almost like she wanted it to happen, to separate herself from the twilight thing. Her relationship with Pattinson was obviously a PR thing, so she might have been rebelling against that PR machine that was running everything. She wasn’t hurting Rob, because the relationship was never real in the first place. He came out of it with sympathy and she got the rebel cred that she always tries to project.

  21. Bridget says:

He’s holding up well at 63, but it’s amazing how quickly that can turn.

  22. Priya says:

As long as she’s happy and in love with a hopefully kind and loving partner, that’s all that matters.

  23. Veronica says:

Eh, he’s actually not bad looking for 62. If it’s what she really wants, go for it, whatever the motivations are. Her ex-husband was an idiot and paid for it.

  24. Pancake says:

He’s 62. As long as she clamps down on the little blue pill – if he does take it – she can probably keep him from straying. Just saying. Not being ageist.

  25. Kelly says:

    Why so cynical?

  26. tracking says:

That was fast. So interesting to me how quickly rich people get over heartbreak.
