Anne Hathaway came out for the Vanity Fair Oscar party last night, and I’m surprised to see so many sites running these photos. Annie has been taking a break from the spotlight for months now, so I take this whole thing as “people actually sort of miss seeing Annie Hathaway.” Which should make her feel good. You know what else should make her feel good? This totally beautiful maternity look by Naeem Khan. This is sort of ‘70s-inspired but it really, really works. This is maybe the best maternity look I’ve seen in years. Annie looks so beautiful! She’s glowing.
Minnie Driver also wore Naeem Khan to the VF party. I hate this. It makes her look like she’s in her 60s.
There were so many Naeem Khan frocks at the after-parties!! Both Ashley Greene and Brittany Snow wore Naeem Khan gowns at Elton John’s Oscar party too. I actually love Ashley Greene’s dress so much, it’s the perfect party frock. Brittany’s is meh.

I thought Anne looked great too. like a lot of actresses and famous models, I think she looks 10x more beautiful AND younger when pregnant just because she has some extra weight on her and it softens her face. She looks 5 years younger. I thought the same of Alessandra Ambrosio and Natalie Portman when they were pregnant too, they all looked younger and more beautiful.
Not sure why hollywood insists actresses stay thin to the extreme. They all look younger and prettier when they gain weight.

Although apart from the over-powdered look, she looks Cleopatra-like to me. Styling seems somewhat Middle Eastern inspired.
Egyptian Geisha? Seems to be working for her…looks better than a lot of celebs on the red carpet.

Minnie’s dress would look better on someone like Miranda Kerr, who has no boobs. It’s a beautiful dress but Minnie just doesn’t have decolletage to pull it off.
I love it. I also loved the blouse version J Law wore a few days prior (in silver). The only quibble is that I think they look better under normal light, instead of the full on spotlights of the step and repeat
I think it’s a nice dress, but hardly the best Hollywood maternity look ever! That’s without doubt Angelina in the green dress at the Kung Fu Panda Cannes premiere (pregnant with twins).
@ GlimmerBunny AJ did have the best maternity dress ever in that green dress. She did gloW! No shade at AH. I like her dress very much. I have missed Annie.
Wow that is some amazing detailing, LOVE that dress. I would have loved to wear something so beautiful and elegant when I was pregnant.
My only issue is the sleeve length and shoulder fit. It needed either long or short sleeves and better fit on the shoulders. The half sleeves give it an air of frumpiness that it just doesn’t need!
I just really want Anne to play Liza now. It’s all I’m seeing.

I like the Minnie driver … I really think it is the hair that is frumping it up. Not sure if she has short hair now or if it is up but that dress needed long flowing hair IMO. Anne looks really good some pictures, but I am not sure what I think about the dress. New York Times did a piece on how uncreative the fashion was at the Oscar ceremony and people wearing mostly corporate labels; at the parties, perhaps it was a little more inventive.
So that Oscar viewing party is for People who could not make it to the ceremony but wanna be photographed ?

I’m 32 weeks pregnant, and I love seeing the great maternity looks on Anne Hathaway and Chrissy Tiegen, instead of fantasizing about the clothes that I will some day fit back into. Lol
