Brandi Glanville has a new boyfriend! And she wants you to know about him. I actually think he wants you to know that he’s dating Brandi Glanville too. The guy’s name is Theo Von, and I have never heard of him before now. He’s well-known in certain circles, mostly comedy and stand-up circles. He’s been on Last Comic Standing and he has his own popular podcast. He’s Southern too – he’s from Louisiana and he has that Louisiana drawl. You can see a recent interview with him here – I like his accent, but his vibe is very “bro comedy” which I can take or leave. What else? He’s 36 years old to Brandi’s 43, which is not that big of a difference.
Brandi Glanville is finding that a way to a man’s heart is through laughter. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is dating comedian Theo Von, PEOPLE confirms.
“It’s early on, but they seem to be getting along great and truly connecting with one another,” a source says of Glanville, 43, and the Last Comic Standing vet, 36. The duo first sparked when she appeared on Von’s podcast, Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss. Glanville then invited Von to her own podcast, Brandi Glanville: Unfiltered, and they’ve been on a handful of dates since then, says the source.
“She loves his sense of humor,” says the insider, who notes the Von has yet to meet Glanville’s two sons with ex Eddie Cibrian. Though Glanville has “never dated a comedian before,” says the source, “they have some solid chemistry.”
On Tuesday’s episode of the comedian’s podcast, Von told the hilarious story of one of their dates.
“I don’t know if I’m going to name names,” he said, before deciding to use a “fake” name: “Shmandi Shanville from the Shmeal Shmousewives show. So the other night, I meet up with Shmandi,” Von said, laughing. “She comes to my comedy show and we’ve been kind of shmommunicating. I think she’s cute.”
The idea of Brandi with a comic sort of works. I think Brandi is funny… sometimes. Sometimes she just seems sort of crazy and offensive, but then she’ll do something smart and genuinely funny. While I doubt this is going to be something super-serious, I bet she’ll enjoy herself. And he’s not bad-looking at all. It seems like this is a step up from her weird hookup with Gerard Butler, at the very least.

I was about to comment that this hookup will probably be over by next week, but now I’m hoping it lasts longer. A stand-up routine would be hilarious, especially if he skewers Eddie.
I think Brandi would give him enough amo to put on one h*** of a show. Leann is incredibly inclined to sue anyone who pisses her off. If he says anything she doesn’t like I am sure her lawyer will start sending out letters ASAP. She has a serious issue with a blogger so much that she had police kick her out of a concert. She sued her father, a teacher and her dentist. I could imagine what she would try to do to him.
I think that Leann can be ridiculously litigious by having her lawyers send out letters to people who have said or may say bad things about her but there’s more to the story when it comes to the actual lawsuits she’s filed. Actually I don’t know about the dentist lawsuit, but her father and his partner were taking an outrageously large cut of her earnings, the blogger was with another woman who bragged about sneaking into Leann’s gated community by crouching down in the back of a car and being close enough to Leann and Eddie’s house that she could hear what they were saying, and on another occasion she bragged about yelling insults at Eddie when he was out running errands. The teacher was part of clique that mean-tweeted Leann, and Leann, in all her stupid glory, got the mean tweeting teacher’s phone number and called her. The teacher recorded the phone conversation, which is illegal to do in California without the other party’s consent, and that taped phone conversation made it onto the internet.
Maybe B could start a stand-up career(???). That would probably be less stressful than doing reality shows and keeping up appearances.
She could have an imaginary ex and his imaginary jump-off (sort of like Phyllis Diller’s ‘Fang’). Any similarities to living persons would be purely coincidental, of course!

I know about the taped conversation and actually listened to it when it was on line a while back. Transcripts of it are on Gossip Rocks. Regardless of who’s at fault, all I know are the facts: Leann is notorious for suing people or having lawyers send letter out to people if the situation calls for it. “Trouble” seems to follow her frequently.

I think that Brandi and her crazt are more than enough fodder for Theo Von’s stand up routing, they will have to be in a relationship a loooong time before he needs to use Brandi’s ex-husband and his wife for his stand up. He talks about their first date in his comic routine, apparently he was not feeling well and went on the date anyway but he was in pain during the date couldn’t take it any longer.
He was on either Real World or Road Rulez back in the day. (Yes I just aged a little writing that sentence…)

He’s actually a very nice guy! And he can do much better than her. I’ve been to his comedy shows & he is very kind to his fans. We follow each other on social media. I almost wonder if this is fake to get his name out there a little more. He’s a very active comedian.

Well that’s why we should support her being in a relationship-it gives her something to do/talk about that isn’t the other two nimrods and/or her kids.
For a too long time, people on this board were actively rooting for her. There was a sense that Brandi was sooo much better than Leann and many people clearly used their own experiences of being cheated on to explain why Brandi was so awesome. Lots of projection. Like Brandi was a crusader for women who got cheated on.
Even when she made those awful rape comments and was clearly an addict who succumbed to her ‘fame’, loads of people were STILL on her side. There is a history of forgiving Brandi for things that other women would be vilified for and only because they saw her as a poor victim. The writers here write things keeping their readers in mind. It’s smart. Sometimes they want in harder on Brandi and readers got very defensive so yeah, there is history.

While I think that he is a decent looking guy, he is not “the hottest guy in the room” type that Brandi has repeatedly says she prefers so good for her for showing a modicum of growth.
Brandi has done numerous outrageous and despicable things outside of that “ridiculous reality show.”

So he is from my hometown. He’s older than me but visited a restaurant I worked at as a teenager often. We spoke when he came in (relatively often). This was after his MTV days. No doubt he’s a totally different person now, but the nice guy he was back then would NEVER go for Brandi. Yikes. No shade on her as a woman, but on her character, all the YIKES.
I like this. Good for them. She IS cute, and I think this is a fun match.
Cue Leann and Eddie to try stand up comedy next.
