Let me just say at the beginning of this post that I’ve always found it odd that there’s so much interest and speculation around Tom Brady’s hair. Tom, to me, is a pretty basic-looking guy. Attractive, but nothing particularly noteworthy, especially not hair-wise. People act like Tom is hiding the Ark of the Covenant in his hair though. There are theories about Gisele making him cut his hair, there are theories about which style is “lucky” for his team, there are even stories about how he might have gotten plugs at one point. Anyway, these are some photos of Gisele, Tom and their kids out and about on Friday in NYC. As you can see, Tom’s hair looks different. As in, he’s gone back to the vintage “Justin Bieber” hairstyle. I’m not saying men in their 30s can only wear their hair in certain ways, but honestly… no 38 year old man should have his hair styled this way. It makes him look like he’s clinging to his youth. It’s the hair equivalent of a muscle car.
Meanwhile, Gisele has been talking up a storm all week, promoting her coffee table book, and she told Access Hollywood that Tom is the fashionable one in the family:
“I have to tell you … I’m supposed to be the fashion person here but I’m married to a fashion guy. I don’t understand what’s happening. It’s easier him dressing me than I’m dressing him. I mean, really. … He has a great sense of style. It’ll be easier for him to dress me, than for me to dress him. He really likes, he enjoys clothes. I think he always looks handsome to me, so I think if he wears a plastic bag he will look great.”
I can sort of understand that – Gisele has been modeling for such a long time, she’s used to being told what to do and she’s used to other people doing her hair, makeup and styling. She’s probably relieved that Tom actually cares about style and has opinions about everything. As for Tom being a dandy… sure. I like it when men care about that kind of stuff. It says to me that a man is confident enough to admit that he has opinions about how a suit should be cut or whether his lady should follow the skinny jean trend.
Gisele also told Access Hollywood that they would not be attending the Met Gala this year because they’re taking a trip to Cuba. Huh.

This is so bad. It amazes me how little sex appeal a grown ass, tall, conventionally attractive athlete can have. His hair and style frequently remind me of that of a child.

But the suit is too basic. If a 38 year old man wants to carry off a ridiculous hairstyle, he at least needs to own the insanity and wear an out-there suit to match. You can’t pull off that hairstyle if you look like you are wearing everything on page 4 of the J.Crew catalogue.
