Elizabeth Hurley recreates bikini pic from 16 years ago, looks the same

Bikini time @elizabethhurleybeach 😘

This is Liz Hurley in a bikini recreating a pose from a sh-tty movie I’ve long since forgotten existed called Bedazzled. That film came out in 2000 when Liz was 35 and she’s now 51 freaking years old and looks the same. She costarred in that with Brendan Fraser, she was the devil and he was the straight man. He hasn’t aged as well but damn do I miss him. We need more Brendan Fraser movies. He’s only 47 and he’s a guy which means he could be doing superhero movies or action movies where he rescues much younger love interests from terrorists but I guess it’s not to be. His career died on the vine.

Here’s the old pic from Bedazzled.
bedazzled

Liz is advertising her bathing suit line, which seems like a smart venture for a celebrity who is this fit. All she has to do is put one on and everyone is like “damn.” She did the same thing last year. You know who else recently wore a bikini? Sharon Stone and she’s 58 and also looks incredible.

Years ago I covered a story where Liz said she often didn’t eat breakfast, which seemed counterproductive to me as I’d always heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It’s since been partially debunked. Whatever she’s doing it’s clearly working.

Liz recently told US Magazine that she still speaks to her ex boyfriend, Hugh Grant, daily and that she gets advice from him. While that seems admirable on the surface does it seem strange to anyone else that they talk that much? Hugh has four kids by two different women and yet he still chats with Liz, whom he broke up with 16 years ago, every day. Does anyone else think there might be more than that going on?

One piece time…. @elizabethhurleybeach #olympiaonepiece 😘

She has always been my ultimate girl-crush! God damn does she still got it. And she has that sexy-smoky-accent that perfects it all.

  2. Sara says:

I’m best friends with my most serious ex and both our partners are fine with it. We trust each other and our love just became deep friendship.

  3. MrsBPitt says:

Sorry, I refuse to oooh and ahhh over celebs gorgeous bodies, when they have the money, the time, and the resources to have personal trainers daily, access to the healthiest food, etc. Yes, we could all be in perfect shape, if we didn’t work 50 hours a week, have to clean our own homes, go grocery shopping, etc. She looks fantastic! Why wouldn’t she!

    • Alleycat says:

      PREACH.

    • Lalu says:

There are lots of people with access to all kinds of stuff that just aren’t disciplined and don’t take care of themselves. There are pots of people in Hollywood that don’t look good… They rely purely on surgery and it’s obvious.
I know people with lots of money that feed their kids fast food.
I love seeing a woman her age looking this damn great! I like knowing there is a chance I can still be pretty hot at 50. She looks healthy and fit. I think it’s wonderful.

    • Mari says:

Yaaasss! Good for her, I mean, I’m not knocking her but meanwhile, most of us work at least 9 hours a day and don’t have the means or time she has. Give me a personal chef to make all my meals, a world-renowned trainer to tone and sculpt me while making working out fun, a masseuse for my sore, aching muscles, and a dermatologist to make sure my skin stays nice and dewy and I promise I’d look like that, too.

    • Bonster says:

Brilliant genetics are randomly lavished on members of the human race. I’m sure she works at it and eats great food and gets lots of beauty treatments, but you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. (Trust me, I’m speaking from experience.)

    • Cecilia says:

      Best comment ever!

    • Ange says:

Even if I did all that I’m still going to have stubby legs and whatnot, it’s more like they have the resources to build on their already generous genetic gifts.

I love that “ shitty” movie 🙁 I`ve seen it like 10 times.

Bedazzled is such a fun mess of a movie. I honestly don’t get the online hate for that gem at all.

She looks good here. I am thinking of finding that show she did on E to see how bad it was.

It does seem a little weird to me because once I cut ties with someone I rarely if ever even think of speaking to the person again. But if their relationship is more on a friendly level, why not? Jack and Meg White formed a band and became successful after they divorced.

I don’t know why someone as lively as her would be friends with Hugh. He seems like a curmudgeon who gets away with saying a lot of crazy stuff because he has a British accent.

    • Adrien says:

This is the first time I encountered Bedazzled hate. It’s very entertaining. It’s not a great movie but it is far from sh*tty.

  6. L84Tea says:

I’ve always secretly wished that she and Hugh Grant would get back together one day.

  7. Margo S. says:

She is actually my idol. Look at her! She looks so healthy. And honestly, with her and Hugh. I feel like before when they were dating, it was more a friendship companionship. Like she knew he slept around and was OK with that. He’s the godfather of her kid that she had in 2002 so honestly, I just think they are great friends. Good for them! It seems like a very special relationship.

    • SKF says:

My parents saw her in Italy a few years ago and they said she is off the charts gorgeous in the flesh. Like, they knew she was a beautiful woman but until you see her in the flesh you can’t appreciate just how gorgeous she is. Apparently her skin just glows…

  8. tracking says:

I’ve read that one approach to intermittent fasting (basically skipping breakfast and concentrating all meals in an 8-hour window) is a good way to burn belly fat. Don’t know if this is true.

    • Moomoo says:

Works for me. I have a 6 pack and do not exercise. Very little belly fat. I started this accidentally due to a crazy work schedule and now have zero desire to eat in the morning. I was never a big breakfast eater, but I think switching to whole foods really helped curb my hunger swings.

    • Ange says:

I have my dinner at breakfast, a healthy lunch and just have protein shakes in the evening when I want to kick start my weight loss. A nutritionist recommended it to me and it works wonders.

      • Crimson says:

I have heard exactly that. “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper,” and you will maintain a healthy weight. I stayed in fantastic shape until 53 due to working out religiously (since age 20). There comes a time, however, when diet becomes a significant factor; and while exercise helps, it cannot compensate for careless calories. I’m on board with whole foods. You just feel better. Bless Liz Hurley, I’m sure she does some work to maintain her beauty.

  9. Nikki says:

Wow, I found this somewhat depressing; I’m reading it on the ONE morning I had TWO pieces of heavily buttered toast instead of one, and I will never look anything like that in anyone’s line of bathing suits!! Although it’s true that wealthy people have more resources, they still live in a world with access to superb chocolates, filet mignon, and fine wines, so I still think having such a bangin’ body is an achievement. But is it worth forgoing all the gastronomic pleasures?? …

  10. Nikki says:

Wait: don’t even celebrities live in a world with gravity?

  11. Pandy says:

    She looks great!!!!

  12. BTownGirl says:

If there’s not more to it with her and Hugh, I bet you he WISHES there was hehe! Go on, girlfriend, go on!!!

  13. Egla says:

My mother just told me I have cellulites in my legs. And now this. I want to cry. And I am 36. I want her recepies NOW. What she does, what she eats. Everything.

On a more serious note she is an actress, she has been working on that body all her life. I mean, I have to read things for my work as I need information and she needs to keep that body in order to work. I had a gym teacher once, she was 50 when I was 13. She had this strong fit body. Never seen her on a bikini BUT you could tell she was fit and she didn’t exercise everyday anymore. It was only muscle memory by then.

    • Agapanthus says:

IF what I have read about her is true, she barely eats. Plus, she has had tons of work done, especially on her face. If you look at pics of her just begore she got really famous (with that safety pin dress) she was a natural beauty but now she just looks kind of plastic. She also seem to have really poor taste in men- Grant, Steve Bing, Shane Warne-who all seem to have treated her really badly. So, no, I am not envious of her at all.

  14. Maleficent says:

“The only meal I have is dinner.”I’m on a good old-fashioned low calorie diet – I’m going to bed hungry.”

That is what she said her diet was years ago. So while she looks fit, who know if she’s promoting a healthy lifestyle.

  15. MOllie says:

She’s very pleasant. And beautiful in person.

  16. KasySwee says:

I have no recollection of this pic and any roles I may have seen her in have left no lasting impression on me whatsoever but I do recall her saying she would kill herself if she was “fat” like Marilyn Monroe.

  17. Mrs. Darcy says:

Even at my skinniest I was never a bikini person. I like her one piece, it’s very cute and nicely fitted. Props to her, the picture is obviously not at all photoshopped (I think!), she looks amazing. Maybe I should start skipping breakfast lol…

  18. raincoaster says:

Hurley’s not a poster girl for healthy living, not by a LONG shot. She once was quoted as saying, “I smoke and I go to bed hungry every night of my life.” She is obviously doing a ton of working out, which she never used to do, but her priority is to look good and sell bikinis, not to be healthy or fit. And she doesn’t pretend anything else.

  19. Bread and Circuses says:

Liz Hurley is the closest Hugh Grant ever came to a serious, permanent relationship. It doesn’t surprise me the bond is still there between them, even if they both moved on romantically.
