Pink got stuck in an elevator before her first show in four years

The first day back at work after being away is always a little rough. Pink learned this last Sunday at Summerfest in Milwaukee, which was her first concert in four years. Pink and her family, husband Carey Hart, daughter Willow, six, and son Jameson, six months, were en route to the Milwaukee’s American Family Insurance Amphitheater when they ended up getting stuck in an elevator.

Stuck in an elevator (it's getting hot in here) (love in an elevator) (livin in a box) #help

First things first, I am digging Pink’s striped overalls. However, being claustrophobic, I probably would not have handled this as coolly as Pink but, then again, I don’t do really do anything a cool as Pink. Carey posted the same pic to his Instagram with the caption, “Day 1 of tour. Stuck in an elevator on our way to the venue.  #summerfest.” Willow looks like she has a handle on the situation, I’ll bet she’s keeping the calm in the group. Jameson, on the other hand, is probably prying the doors open with his pacifier. Either that or he’s trying to free the voice that keeps talking to them from the emergency speaker. I’m not sure exactly how long the family was trapped but all’s well that ends well and they were finally released:

Pink went on to a triumphant performance that, in her own words, only included one rolled ankle and four songs with forgotten lyrics. Huzzah! It must have been the rigid rehearsals Willow and Jameson oversaw leading up to the tour:

It hasn’t been all work and no play, Carey and the kids are making the most of going on the road with Mom:

Not sure who is more psyched for the show, Pink or Carey. Guess it doesn’t matter:

Who's excited for mama @pink first show back??? @goodride @dualigans #Jameson

By the way, Pink wasn’t hanging out on the couch eating peeled grapes and reading romance novels during her downtime, she was riding 300 miles for the Chefs Cycle in support of No Kid Hungry. So let’s recap: Pink – freed from the elevator, making new music and performing again, still as amazing as before. Rock on.

I wouldn’t have handled it well either. Totally would have panicked.

I saw Pink in Vegas four years ago. She puts on a great show!

I saw her years ago when she opened for JT. Better singer and better performance.

Love her on so many levels – especially fundraising for No Kid Hungry.

Just thinking about that makes me panick. I almost got stuck in an elevator…it made a weird noise and bumped up and down but didn’t get stuck. I freaked out one time (in my head) on a ride at Disney world. I had no idea we were going to be closed in and couldn’t ask to be let out until the ride was over (3 mintues long). Never again lol !

I got stuck in a small elevator at school when I was in 8th grade. It was with another classmate and we had a computer with us.
I had a meltdown. Glad she handled it well.

    Really love Pink
