Kristin Cavallari & Jay Cutler got a reality show, it’s mostly about her life in Nashville

60th Annual GRAMMY Awards - Press Room

A familiar face is returning to reality television. Hills alum Kristin Cavallari has signed on for a new series, currently in production for E!

A source tells US of the new, as yet untitled, series, “They are filming a reality show and started last week. It focuses on her life in Nashville and the store that she’s opening. It’s focused on her and the people working at her store.” Kristin is in the process of opening a retail location for her online jewelry brand Uncommon James, posting a want ad for employees on her Instagram last week.

Last spring, Kristin and her family, hubby Jay Cutler and kids Camden, five, Jaxon, three, and two-year old daughter, Saylor moved from Chicago to Nashville. Kristen appeared on fellow Hills cast mates Heidi and Spencer’s podcast last month and, when asked about the possibility of a return to the small screen, she said, “I’m open to it.” She went on to say that her time on The Hills “was a unique experience. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, but to go back to that now as a mom and a wife, it would have to be different. I would have to be an executive producer. I would have to have more control and it would have to be on my kind of terms.” She also vowed, “I would never put my kids on a reality show.”

That’s yet to be seen, of course. You know celebrity parents aren’t above pimping out their kids for attention. I wouldn’t mind, however, if Jay had a very large part on the show. Although Kristin is supportive of his career, she would be happy to see him retire. Oh, please, as a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, PLEASE retire, Jay.

  1. Beara ears says:

    So graspy.

  2. Tate says:

    Who would watch this?

    • Beara ears says:

Exactly… All her fake purchased bot followers can’t exactly tune in to a TV show.

    • Raina says:

I, for one, can’t wait not to watch it.
😜 you know what it is? Most of these “stars” are so boring/fake, I honestly am never entertained.

      • Aurelia says:

Who does she think she is, Reece Witherspoon or somebody? Her online jewellery line Uncommon James. Blahhhh

    • Tourmaline says:

Cavallari and Cutler have to be in contention for the most hate-able couple ever.

      • GirlMonday says:

Why? I know nothing about them other than what was stated in this article. I’ve been aware that they exist, but don’t know why they are hate-able.

  3. Swack says:

Do we really need another reality show about a celebrity?

  4. MJC says:

Of all the Hills women I find her the thirstiest and most uninteresting (at least Speidi is open about their thirst).

And did she name her jewelry line to try to piggyback on Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James line? I think that has a Nashville store too.

  5. Nicole says:

Lol Nashville does not claim you anymore Jay. Embarrassing that he’s still playing and Kaep did not.
Anyways there’s nothing about them that interests me so I’ll probably skip it

    • Sedano’s says:

Miami doesn’t want or need him, but they’ll take him over Kaepernick, because the Dolphins love to lose.

      • Nicole says:

and there’s some bad blood there as well. But cutler went to Vandy (as did I) but we don’t claim him anymore

  6. Bridget says:

E! must be desperate for programming.

  7. Mrs. G says:

Can we get a Laguna reunion ??

    • Dee says:

Ugh RIGHT! But literally every single of one of them is married with at least one kid (besides Stephen).

  8. JA says:

Anti-vaxxer, fame seeking, attention getter, moron. What I think of when I see this idiot

    • Sabrine says:

She’s so boring and irrelevant I don’t know why she still gets any kind of attention. Hopefully soon she will fade away completely and focus on raising her un-vaccinated children.

  9. Eric says:

I hope it revolves around her. No one wants to watch a terrible QB mumble about how oft-injured he is and how his teammates hate him.
    He’s made of glass!

  10. Mar says:

Omg this will not last- it will be a snooze fest

  11. elimaeby says:

No one cared about them here in Chicago, and I doubt Nashville feels differently. To quote Jay Cutler: “Doooooooooooon’t caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare!”

  12. LizLemonGotMarried (AKA HufflepuffLizLemon) says:

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that she used ALLY when she meant ALLEY?

    • elimaeby says:

Yeah, that gave me the itchies, too. You run a business. Learn to write properly.

    • magnoliarose says:

Usually, I kind of shrug at spelling errors because it can happen even when we know better, but when Cannelloni does it I cackle like a mean girl.
      Can’t stand either of them.
How they will manage to film around his front and center garbage personality will be interesting. They will have to stretch 4 minutes of “Jake being normal for once” footage for an entire season.

      • LizLemonGotMarried (AKA HufflepuffLizLemon) says:

YES! The horror stories about Jake are legend-wait for it-ary. I don’t know him personally, obviously, but there are just. so. many. Typos don’t bother me at all-I make them, everyone makes them with the amount of time we spend on tiny keyboards. However, a professional post with a wrong word used just gives me the giggles. I catch it on our internal blast communications occasionally and we’re a Fortune 50, so I know it happens, but…still. C’mon man.

MagnoliaRose, BTW, I like your new image.

  13. Muprhy says:

I’d give this show a shot only because it’s going to be in Nashville. Who needs another show in LA, I’d like to see a new place.
Not really interested in hearing about her store though.

  14. Lizzie says:

WHOOOO CARRESSSS? in kristin’s own laguna beach words – their careers are dunzo – just take your money and raise your kids.

  15. Jeannie says:

I like Kristin. She’s a great friend, if you watch laguna.

  16. hogtowngooner says:

I appreciate that she doesn’t want to put her kids on TV, but I couldn’t help but wonder if any TV show would allow unvaccinated children on set?

Also, LOOOOOOOOL at Cavallari insisting on being an EP.

  17. sunshine gold says:

This will be canceled within a year.

  18. Nancypants says:

I don’t care about her or the show but HE used to live in my town when he was the QB for Denver and he hosted parties and his pals would come to our store and spend quite a lot and greet fans, sign autographs and so on.
Sometimes he met them there and was always very nice to everyone and signed autographs and such – unlike Elway.

I don’t really care about football except for the money it brings to the store, town, state, so, I’m not sure why so many hate him.
