Remember those crackhead pictures of Lindsay Lohan in Las Vegas over the weekend? She was there to promote her line of tan-in-a-can, but ended up going on some kind of five day coke-and-liquor pre-birthday bender. And yes, I made that judgment solely from the pictures. Lohan also wanted us to know her birthday celebrations aren’t over. She turns 23 years old (note: figure not in crackhead years, in human years) on Thursday, and I’m sure her actual birthday celebration will be epic.
Even though we’re about to witness a debauched birthday celebration that will probably extend until September, Lindsay wants us to know that she’s not just some party girl with nothing better to do than hang out by a Las Vegas pool, drink, get high and “promote her spray tan”. Lindsay wants us to know that she’s a “workaholic”. I kid you not:
Lindsay Lohan is a “workaholic”. The ‘Mean Girls’ actress – who is more famous for her turbulent personal life rather than her career – always needs to have a project on the go otherwise she gets frustrated.
“It’s not that hard to be me, but I do work harder than most of my friends’ parents. I am the hardest-working person I know. I’m a workaholic. I don’t know what to do when I’m not working. I get creatively frustrated.”
The 23-year-old star – whose most recent film, 2007′s ‘I Know Who Killed Me’, flopped – last appeared on ‘Ugly Betty’ but says she would rather be making movies. She told Britain’s OK! magazine:
“I prefer to be making films. For most people – and for me, too – there’s something about going to the movies. It’s about being able to transform into different people and tell different stories. You can go to the movies if you’re depressed, and you can walk out later laughing. The fact that going into a theatre for two hours can do that is an amazing feeling.
“To be the person who’s on that screen, who can make someone feel better, or bring out more emotion in someone, makes me feel really blessed that I’m able to do that. It’s just about finding the right roles, but when the time is right, they will come.”

Snarf, chuckle. “Creatively frustrated”? Is that the new euphemism? What does it really mean? Cough cough pass the crack pipe cough. Some are wondering aloud if Lindsay can keep it together long enough to start, film, and complete the movie The Other Side, which she signed on for in May. Rumor was that producers only hired her under the condition that she keep her sh-t together. Uh… yeah. Good luck with that. The Other Side starts in October… so it’s going to be a long drama-filled summer.

Has anybody else ever noticed that when Lindsey is drinking/doing drugs that almost every picture of her has her eyebrows frowning like the header pic?
I noticed in the photos of her “birthday” party recently that in every single one she is frowning with her eyebrows even as her mouth is smiling.
I think it’s whatever drug she’s on…
it gives her a weird nervous tic or something.
Lindsey is messed up. I wish to god something would wake this child up.

so, she was such a workaholic that she was late to the set (and sometimes didn’t show up at all) to the point that the director or producer had to write a public missive complaining about her work ethic.

She is sad, and I don’t see her living to see 30. I don’t see her pulling a Drew Barrymore, I see her denying her issue until she is found in a Mc. Donalds bathroom stall slumped over a toilet. I know its fun to poke fun at how sad and pathetic she looks while drugged out, but the harsh reality is too many people give her too much attention when she does stupid things like this, which caters to her ego and feeds that monster. I wish that for a month no one would report anything on the people who seem to be spiraling out of control. I know it sells covers, but it certainly doesn’t help the person and in the end shouldn’t that be more important?

I think she said this about 2 years ago or so too. The fact that she continues to say it is just ridiculous.
She’s an alcoholic, not a workaholic, and a serious drug addict. The only thing she probably works hard at is staying conscious.
She needs serious help, but also needs to shut up. Or better yet, let’s have her actually work in a hard, labor intensive job for 8 hours and see what she has to say then.
I want to feel sorry for her because her parents are both wackos and she didn’t have much of a chance, but at the same time, she’s so arrogant, stupid, and obnoxious, and clearly doesn’t WANT help.

ok, im not exactly sure when, but this quote is quite old. I remember it from years back and thinking to myself “harder than your friends parents? yeah sure”. I’m not denying acting is “difficult” although i dont know that any of her roles could be considered as such… I hardly agree that she works harder than people that earn less than 6 figures working over 40 hrs a week and supporting a family. im thinking this was saud shortly after mean girls when she was really in her haydey.
