Gerard Butler doesn’t want to be photographed checking out models

Gerard Butler isn’t going to be settling down any time soon. He doesn’t seem to have weddings and wives and babies and binkies in his eyes. There will be no tearful confession on Oprah’s couch about his desire to find the right girl. He’s a player, and everyone knows he’s a player. He likes women, and he likes sex with as many women as possible. He mentioned in a recent interview with Craig Ferguson that he’s gotten to age where people are now asking him “Why aren’t you married? What’s wrong with you?” He’s 39 years old and, for the record, I would marry him in a raunchy Scottish second and get knocked up two minutes later.

Anyway, Page Six has Gerard Butler scoping out the chicas at a recent event in New York. It was a birthday party for Scott Lipps, the president of One Model Management. I didn’t recognize the names of the girls Gerard was allegedly ogling, so I had to look them up – one blonde, two brunettes. There’s Bridget Hall (blonde, with a very curvy figure), Allie Crandell (petite, Audrey Hepburn-esque) and Liliana Dominguez (gorgeous). All I know is that Gerard’s time would be better spent searching me out:

GERARD Butler likes to fly under the radar when he’s scoping out babes.

The hunky star of “The Ugly Truth” showed up for One Model Management president Scott Lipps’ birthday bash at the Cooper Square Hotel penthouse, but quickly told Patrick McMullan’s snappers to stay away.

“It was so funny. He was there to check out the talent, but he didn’t want to be photographed doing it,” our spy said.

Among the leggy beauties Butler eyed were Bridget Hall, Allie Crandell of “The City” and Liliana Dominguez.

I wonder which one of them Gerard went home with that night? Who am I kidding, he probably went home with all three. I wonder if any of Gerry’s girls ever thought to pull a Samantha Burke on him? I really hoped that Gerard wouldn’t be another George Clooney – you know, never settling down, always some random model or waitress on his arm, never thinking to actually date a woman with a brain and a talent for anything other than fellatio. But I’m starting to think Gerry is taking a page from the Clooney Bible. Sadness. He’s really not coming for me, is he?
