Here’s an amusing story from the print edition of US Weekly about how Christina Aguilera’s estranged husband, Jordan Bratman, is staying put in the couple’s mansion and refusing to move out. Christina announced her separation from Jordan in mid October of last year. She took up with her new boyfriend, a set assistant she met while filming Burlesque (while she was still married) a hot minute later. We heard in late October that Christina was staying in hotels because Bratman wouldn’t move out of their home, presumably because he wanted to be near their son Max, three. Fast forward three months later and Bratman is still at their family home, while Christina has moved her new boyfriend in to help her stagger to bed after their drunken nights out. I’m pretty sure that Christina still lives in the mansion that was shown on The Osbournes, as she purchased it from the family in 2007. That’s a big house but I don’t think it has two kitchens or anything.

A source tells Hot Stuff [US Weekly] that [Christina Aguilera], 30, and new boyfriend Matthew Rutler, 25, are living under the same roof with her ex, Jordan Bratman – because he refuses to move out! “It’s gotten really awkward,” the Aguilera pal says of life at the $11.5 million Beverly Hills mansion, where the exes look after their son, Max, 3. “Jordan won’t leave the house!” The singer is so distraught that she broke down while knocking back vodka sodas and venting about the situation at L.A.’s the Dime nightclub January 25. “She was drinking and crying uncontrollably, talking about Jordan and the house,” says a witness. “She was working herself into more and more of a state.” Adds another insider, “She strong and wants to be there for Max. But all this is very stressful for her.”

Poor Christina. She cheated on her husband, moved her jump off into the house, and now her husband won’t leave! What’s a drunk rich girl to do? I know, she could sell the house (probably at a loss) and downsize – if the house is in her name, that is. There are probably some complicated legal issues that are keeping her from being able to kick Jordan out. She could rent another place nearby and move there with her son. I don’t know whose side I’m on in this whole mess, but I’m inclined to have some grudging respect for Bratman for staying put. (There are rumors that he abused Christina, and if that’s true it’s despicable. Sources say that never happened though.)

These are new photos of Christina Aguilera entering a Beverly Hills hotel yesterday. She looks pretty good, right? This is maybe the best she’s looked in months. She’s not wearing five pounds of makeup (but still, she’s wearing a lot), and her hair looks almost normal. Anyway, the rumor going around is that Christina is staying at a hotel because Jordan Bratman, her estranged and soon to be ex-husband, is flat-out refusing to move out of the mansion they shared. Apparently, things “have gotten tense” and Christina is “living out of a suitcase.” Living out of a suitcase agrees with her, that’s all I say.

Meanwhile, one of the main reasons for the split keeps rearing up in report after report – that Christina loves the ladies in general, and that she’s having a sexual relationship with Samantha Ronson specifically. Last week, a paparazzo got a photo of Sam leaving Christina’s house late one night (photo here), and Christina seems to be trying to tamp down the gossip about her lesbianism (or bisexuality):

Christina Aguilera has been leaning on gal pal Samantha Ronson for support in the wake of her crumbling marriage and RadarOnline.com has the photo of Ronson’s late-night visit to the singer’s home.

“They’ve known each other forever and they’re good friends,” a source close to Aguilera told RadarOnline.com of her relationship with the famous Hollywood deejay who has been the on-again, off-again girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan. According to several sources, Aguilera grew closer to Ronson as her marriage fell apart, eventually leading her soon-to-be-ex-husband Jordan Bratman feeling unwanted.

Ronson was photographed leaving the pop superstar’s Beverly Hills home late on the night of October 12, after spending seven hours comforting Aguilera.

“Samantha was also in Mexico with Christina for Nicole’s [Richie] bachelorette party,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

A close friend of Christina’s downplayed the relationship, “Christina and Sam are good friends and Christina has a ton of gay friends, there’s nothing more to it than that.”

As RadarOnline.com was first to report, this isn’t the first time Christina has turned to a woman. According to a source Christina has approached women while at gay bars in Los Angeles. One woman who was approached told RadarOnline.com that Christina sent over her bodyguard to see if she was interested. When the woman, who didn’t want her name used, looked over, Christina waved and smiled.

“The bodyguard told me it was an understanding within their marriage and that she brings girls home and Jordan’s okay with it,” said the woman who was approached by the Dirrty singer while at The Abbey. “I met Christina in the bathroom and she told me she liked to play with girls… I ended up not pursuing anything with it because the situation just seemed so weird to me, but Christina was definitely looking to hook up.”

Aguilera has been open about her affection for the ladies telling Out magazine in May, “My husband knows that I get into girls. I think it’s fun to be open and play.”

After nearly five years of marriage Aguilera, 29, filed for divorce on October 14 from her husband Bratman, 33, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Aguilera asked for joint legal and physical custody of their two-year-old son Max and for any spousal support to be terminated.

“My understanding was that Jordan wasn’t involved when she brought girls home,” a source said.

Are you feeling any sympathy for Christina? Eh. I feel it a little bit, even though I think she was the one to instigate the divorce. Who knows, though. Maybe Jordan is a piece of work too. I feel a begrudging respect for him for not moving out of their house. My guess is that there’s more sh-t that will come out in the coming months, and most of it is going to be bad for Christina.

Yesterday was a strange day for Christina Aguilera news. First thing in the morning, Radar reported that just days before Christina filed for divorce from Jordan Bratman, Jordan had brought Christina to the hospital with a split lip, plus assorted cuts and bruises. The insinuation was heavy that Jordan could possibly be an abuser, and Radar even released photos of the alleged “split lip” later on Thursday (it looks like she had a small cut just below her lower lip). Anyway, just a couple of hours after Radar’s strange report, Redbook released an exclusive statement from Aguilera, in which she seemed to be asking for our sympathy, and wanting to put herself out there as “the victim” in the divorce. Now some sites are scrambling to answer the question: was Christina a battered wife? The answer everyone keeps coming to? NO.

What a relief! Despite pictures and reports showing Christina going to the hospital to get stitches the day before she announced her separation Oct. 14, an inside source reassures us it wasn’t because of domestic violence!

We have to admit, we were a little scared when we heard that Christina Aguilera, 29, had to go to the hospital after an alleged fall in her home Oct. 12. Our minds immediately began thinking her hubby, Jordan Bratman, 33, had something to do with the injuries. However, HollywoodLife.com exclusively spoke with a family insider that puts our scares at ease!

“Bad, bad timing, but he didn’t hit her. He is not in any way a violent person,” our insider adamantly declared, adding, “Christina would never stand for that kind of behavior ever, plus she wouldn’t hide from it.”

TMZ is also reporting about Christina’s coincidental cut lip, saying, “Sources directly connected with the couple tell us it was not domestic violence!”

We’re still bummed that Christina and Jordan split — but it’s comforting to know Christina doesn’t have to deal with the demons of a abusive husband! That would be horrible.

TMZ’s story is here – they don’t really have any proof to back up their claim that Christina was NOT abused either, but they have some vague sources. My guess is basically the same as yesterday – Christina might have had something wrong with her lip, but it wasn’t from Jordan’s fist, and she released that statement because she wants people to forget about her relationship to Sam Ronson’s Xanadu Vadge plus all of those randoms. I’ll add something else – if Jordan is and was in no way abusive, Christina owes it to the father of her child, and to women who are truly abused by their partners, to speak out herself and refute the claims.

Radar has an extremely weird story about Christina Aguilera today. According to this report, just days before Christina filed for divorce from Jordan Bratman, she was admitted to the hospital with suspicious-looking injuries, including a split-lip, which needed stitches. Jordan went with her to the hospital, and he told the nurses that Christina had “fallen down.” Now, Radar doesn’t really spell it out (probably out of fear of being sued), but the insinuation is heavy – was Christina an abused woman? Or was she just clumsy (drunk?) and she really did “fall down”? Or did none of this really happen?

Christina Aguilera made a late-night trip to a Los Angeles hospital in the days leading up to her divorce from husband Jordan Bratman, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

“Christina was bleeding from her mouth and had a bit of a busted lip,” a source, who saw the couple at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, said. “Jordan told the nurses she had fallen down.”

According to the witness, Aguilera was sporting “bumps and red bruises” along with her bloodied lip.

“Shortly after they arrived to Cedars, Christina’s ‘private surgeon’ arrived to put a few stitches in her lip,” the source added.

Adding to the mystery of why the singer needed treatment, on October 12, she was photographed wearing a hat pulled down over her face with what appears to be a small cut below her lower lip. That is the same day that she and Bratman announced the end of their five-year marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Aguilera’s rep had no comment when contacted by RadarOnline.com. The 29-year-old superstar asked for joint legal and physical custody of their two-year-old son Max and for any spousal support to be terminated. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the couple had an open marriage that, according to source, led to jealousy within their relationship.

“My understanding was that Jordan wasn’t involved when she [Christina] brought girls home, so maybe the divorce is because Jordan’s jealousy got the best of him,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

Since her breakup, the Beautiful singer has been leaning on close friends like Samantha Ronson for emotional support.

I have mixed feelings about this – it’s not like Christina has come out and tried to talk about this incident, or even explain the reasons for her split. Yes, it’s none of our business, but the tabloids have been running a series of stories that put Christina in a negative light, what with her trolling for strange (but only with girls), and now maybe-probably hooking up with Samantha Ronson, whose vagina seems Xanadu for the land of misfit toys. Is it possible this story is a strategic leak? Sure. But I’ll also give Christina the benefit of the doubt – her childhood was abusive, and she might have fallen into a similar pattern in adulthood. I have no idea.

There are all sorts of theories about why Christina Aguilera’s marriage to music producer Jordan Bratman is ending after nearly five years. Earlier this week we heard the rumor that Christina enjoyed random hookups with other women, something her husband was said to approve of or at least tolerate. A follow-up story in Bill Zwecker’s column in the Chicago Sun Times lends credence to those rumors with the claim that Christina is “incensed” by the stories and “believes Bratman’s friends are behind the leaks” about their sex life. To add more to the “Christina likes women” angle, there are new rumors that she’s hooking up with DJ Samantha Ronson, best known for being Lindsay Lohan’s on-off girlfriend. Christina attended Nicole Richie’s bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas last month along with Ronson and others, and she went to Hawaii over the weekend to attend a hotel opening, also with Ronson. According to paparazzi agency X17, Aguilera and Ronson are more than just friends:

Ever since Samantha went to Cabo with Xtina, “the two have been inseparable,” says our source. “I’ve seen them hanging out together. Christina Aguilera really lets down her guard around Sam. They’re very comfortable with each other.”

The pop star was even seen leaving Sam’s place late at night earlier this week AND she stopped by The Roxy on Sunday to see her new favorite DJ spin.

In June of this year, Xtina herself even told Company Magazine that she is “attracted to women.”

The singer also said the following to Out Magazine in May: “My husband knows that I get into girls. I think it’s fun to be open and play.”

Is it a coincidence that Aguilera suddenly split from Jordan Bratman so soon after her Cabo trip (where she got even closer to Samantha)?

Our source also reveals that the twosome’s relationship is nothing like the one Samantha had with Lindsay Lohan. “Their relationship is different because Christina doesn’t create the kind of drama that Lindsay did.”

Just because XTina is hanging out with a gay woman doesn’t mean they’re necessarily more than just friends, but it does look suspicious. Now that she has an estranged husband to watch her son for her she’ll have plenty more time to party and go out. I have a feeling that’s what this split is about for Christina and imagine that she found domesticity cloying. Other theories about her breakup include her blaming Bratman for the failure of her latest CD, Bionic, with the NY Post quoting a source who claims “She feels that he held her back when she wanted to focus more on her career.” She just really lost focus and had no clue what kind of image or sound she wanted to put out there. It’s not her husband’s fault that her album tanked, although it was probably easy for her her to blame him for it.

At first, Christina Aguilera’s split from husband Jordan Bratman seemed the least dramatic in a week that saw Courteney Cox and Laura Dern split from their respective partners. But Xtina is bringing some drama late into the game. Sources first told TMZ that Christina and Jordan’s split might have been “affair” related – on her part. And now Radar reports that Christina wasn’t screwing around with other guys… it was other women. Allegedly, Christina and Jordan had an open marriage that basically involved Christina and an assorted flock of vagina. Radar’s source is just speculating that Jordan might have ended up jealous because of Christina’s affection for girl-on-girl love. Hater!

Yes, I could see this. I could also see how Xtina bringing home ladies night after night could have damaged her marriage. I think most heterosexual dudes are at first like “YEAH, my wife loves girl-on-girl, that’s awesome!” But after a few months (years), it must be grating. After all, it’s still cheating. It’s still infidelity, even if your husband “approves” half-heartedly or whole-heartedly. At the end of the day, Xtina was telling Jordan day after day that he wasn’t enough for her. That being said, I do think Jordan probably got into the marriage knowing exactly who he was marrying. And maybe that was the problem – after years of dealing with her junk, he just had enough.

Just on a lighter note, what Christina really needs is a couple of gay men at this point. Somebody needs to come in and do something about this:

Is anyone else feeling a little sorry for Christina Aguilera? Her split from her husband Jordan Bratman could have been major news… last week. Instead, Christina’s split announcement came right on the heels of Laura Dern and Courtney Cox’s splits, so no one has really been asking “What went wrong?” in Xtina’s marriage. Oh, well. Maybe she’s trying to reclaim the headlines, or maybe she’s just totally over him, because Christina has just filed for divorce. I think she and Jordan have been separated for a month now, so I guess this move isn’t “sudden”.

Just days after confirming that she had separated on Sept. 11 from her husband Jordan Bratman, Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce, a source close to the singer confirms to PEOPLE.

In the papers, Aguilera cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

She also asked for joint physical and legal custody of their son, Max, TMZ reports.

Aguilera, 29, and Bratman, 33, wed in California’s Napa Valley in November 2005, after becoming engaged in Carmel, Calif., in February of that year. Their only child, Max, was born in January 2008.

Earlier this week, Aguilera told PEOPLE: “Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.”

Radar reaffirms that Christina identifies the date of separation as September 11th (Yikes), and that she’s basically asking that their prenuptial agreement be put into effect:

In the documents Aguilera lists their date of separation as September 11, 2010, and confirms that the couple did have a prenuptial agreement. The singer is requesting the court confirm that her “miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects” as well as her “earnings and accumulations….before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation” be deemed separate property.

“There are additional and separate property assets and obligations of each party as mandated by the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement,” the papers added.

Well, that’s smart of her younger self to have gotten a prenup. Good for you, girl. Just say no to palimony. Honestly, though, it sounds like they’ve worked everything out and that they’re both be fine with joint custody of their son. Good for them for being mature about it.

Like celebrity deaths, celebrity splits seem to come in threes. First it was Ben Harper and Laura Dern, then Courteney Cox and David Arquette, and now it’s Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman. According to Us Weekly, Christina and Jordan have been separated for “a few months” and are living apart as we speak. This could be the reason Christina has been looking like ten kinds of hell lately – she’s been dealing with marriage sh-t. Or it could be that she needs to break up with her stylist and makeup artist too.

Singer Christina Aguilera is going solo. Though the pop star, 29, told UsMagaizne.com less than a year ago that she felt “very blessed” in her union with music executive Jordan Bratman, 33, a source close to Aguilera tells Us the couple “have been separated for a few months.”

And though Aguilera and Bratman — who met in 2002 (he was a producer on one of her albums) and wed in 2005 — have not yet decided whether to divorce, the source reveals, “they are now living apart, and they will see how that goes.”

What went wrong?

“They were very much in love,” explains the insider. “But over the last six months, it ­became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife.”The source adds that Aguilera even “­proposed their August trip to Italy to ­rekindle their relationship, but it didn’t help.”

“He is their main concern,” says the pal. Aguilera has even been bringing the tot to the studio while she wraps up the soundtrack for her November 24 musical, Burlesque.

“Christina is doing her best to be a great mom,” says the insider. “She has a lot to ­juggle, but she’s learning how to make it work and balance it all.”

Honestly, I find this breakup to be the saddest and least expected of the trilogy. Cox and Arquette I was expecting. Dern and Harper I didn’t care about. But Christina and Jordan really did seem close, and like they were solid. I thought Christina had found a low-key guy who would support her no matter what happened. And they have that baby too! Oh, well. Another bites the dust.

Christina Aguilera seems like someone who wouldn’t take crap from anyone, if you ask me. She has a history of violence in her childhood, but somehow I just can’t see anyone pushing her around as an adult. She’s aware of the cycle of violence, and wanted to be sure it wouldn’t continue with her new husband.

Aguilera grew up witnessing her now-estranged father Fausto emotionally and physically abusing her mother Shelly – and she was determined not to subject her children to the same heartache.

She tells Us Weekly magazine, “We had many conversations before, and I really ensured that I put myself in the position to marry someone who was not going to repeat the cycle of abuse with my child and what I had endured as a child.

“I knew that my husband is not the type to have violent tendencies, and he would never hurt me.”

This isn’t the first time that Christina has talked about her violent past, saying “People don’t know domestic abuse unless they’re in it. It’s not only physical abuse, but there’s damage inside – mental abuse. It’s a sad thing to go through and watch. They play with your mind and make you feel bad about yourself.”

It is so true that abuse is as much about the mind as it is about physical or verbal abuse, and it can be harder to leave than any person who hasn’t been in that situation an understand. While it might appear that Christina is in the position of power in her relationship (she has the most money, and a successful career) it isn’t just as simple as leaving. An abusive partner holds the emotional power despite these things.

In the same interview that Christina talked about her relationship with Bratman, she also talked about how she lost her pregnancy weight. Her regime involved 90-minute, 5-day-a-week workouts with a trainer, and no white bread.

Note by Celebitchy: Why does it seem like Aguilera brings up this subject every 3-4 months? Maybe interviewers constantly ask her about it, and it must have been tough to live through. You want to give her the benefit of the doubt where this difficult subject is involved, but seeing yet another story about it makes me wonder.

New parenthood means late nights, but usually those nights are spent changing diapers, cleaning spit-up off your clothes, and waking up every few hours to feed a screaming baby. Not at the Aguilera-Bratman household, though: the couple has been making quite a racket recently with their skinny-dippin’ sex sessions.

Having a new baby at home hasn’t extinguished the sparks between Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman!

The new parents are so determined to keep their two-year marriage red-hot that they’ve taken to skinny-dipping by moonlight. The couple, who welcomed son Max into the family on Jan. 12, can be heard loudly frolicking in the pool of their $11.5 million Beverly Hills mansion around midnight.

“They don’t just splash around — they laugh, scream, swear and make sexy noises,” says a source. “We’re happy that they’re happy, but we wish they’d keep it down a bit. There are a lot of old people who live around here, and they don’t like noise after the dinner hour.”

Still, the 27-year-old pop singer and her record producer husband, 30, are preferable to the house’s former owner, Ozzy Osbourne, adds the source. Ozzy — who sold the Mediterranean villa after wrapping up his MTV show, The Osbournes — would blast “horrific, ear-splitting rock music.”

I dunno, if I paid $11 million for my house, I’d be as loud as I pleased every damn minute of the day. Old people are mostly deaf anyway- if they don’t like it, they can just turn up the volume on “Murder, She Wrote,” and drift off to sleep. They’re probably just jealous that these two young people can still actually enjoy themselves. Besides, they should be used to the screaming and the swearing from the Osbourne family. This story is funny and would even be kind of hot if Christina’s husband weren’t a troll.

Note by Celebitchy: I remember watching The Osbournes and seeing them throwing shit over the fence at the neighbors, whom Sharon hated. I don’t remember what kind of feud they had going on but it sounds like these same neighbors are talking to the tabloids about Aguilera. Christina told Ellen that a lot of tour buses stopped by her house due to the popularity of the Osbournes’ show, but that the back, with it’s waterfall and pool, was completely secluded and made it feel like she was on vacation. Maybe she should have watched the show more carefully to see what assholes the neighbors were.
