As I and many others predicted, immediately following Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s breakup, there were rumors about Justin’s jumpoff candidates. Surprisingly, Mila Kunis became the leading contender. Is it just because Mila is the most A-list name to be associated with JT lately? Is it because they worked together last year, and hung out together during the awards season? Is it because many sources claimed that JT tried to get into Mila’s pants? Who knows. I’m just disappointed that my choice for “leading jumpoff” has been relatively ignored… what’s up, Olivia Munn? Where’s your game, girl? Anyway, even though many sources were whispers this weekend about how JT was all up on Mila’s grill, People Magazine spoke to someone “close” to JT who defends Mila’s honor:

Just days after Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel announced their split, there is already speculation that the singer-actor’s Friends with Benefits costar, Mila Kunis, was the cause of the break-up.

Not true, says a source close to Timberlake, 30.

“Mila had nothing to do with their break-up,” the source says. “In fact, no one came between them. They decided their relationship ran its course and it was time to move on.”

But now that he is a single man – and Biel, 29, is stepping out as a single woman – has Timberlake already moved on with Kunis, 28?

“They’re not in a relationship,” the source says. “They star in a movie called Friends with Benefits but they’re just friends. That’s it. They are not together.”

Call me naïve, call me gullible, whatever, because I honestly believe that Mila and JT didn’t screw around while he was still technically with Jessica Biel. I just don’t think Mila plays that game. I think that if JT tried anything with Mila, she would have shot him down (gently) and told him that she’s no Olivia Munn (in so many words). So, here’s the question: did Justin break up with Jessica Biel just so he could have a CHANCE with Mila? It’s an honest question. I don’t think that JT dumped Biel only because of Mila, but I think the potential for something with Mila was definitely a factor in the timing of all of this.

Late Thursday night, the world got the long-awaited confirmation that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel had broken up. It was very sad. Okay, not really, because most of us had been expecting it for a long time, given JT’s blatant philandering and Jessica’s incessant clinging. Commenter Gloaming even put up this Daily Mail link with one of the first behind-the-scenes explanations for why JT and Biel split – it was because Biel threw JT a huge birthday party and gushed about how she stalked him, and JT was embarrassed and basically ignored her. Here’s part of that report:

Further cracks had started to show in the relationship earlier that month when Jessica threw the party for Justin at his home at the beginning of the year.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Jessica was overcome with emotion when she stood up to toast her boyfriend on reaching the milestone. She quickly welled-up as she reminisced about the first time she met Justin and joked about how she virtually stalked him into going on a date with her.’

The pair had exchanged numbers on a night out in 2007, but when Justin failed to call Jessica a few days later, she took matters into her own hands and began driving towards his house. She said that before she knew it, she was outside his house and he still hadn’t called her. She joked about how she felt like a stalker, but that thankfully he did eventually call and the rest was history.

During the birthday speech, the actress gushed about how utterly head over heels in love she was with the singer-turned-actor and went on at length about how much he meant to her. But after Jessica had finished her speech, Justin appeared dismiss her emotional speech by standing up and yelling: ‘Yeah b*tches!’

‘It was really awkward,’ the source told MailOnline. ‘Justin’s reaction was almost disrespectful. He just laughed it off.’

That story makes me feel sorry for both of them, honestly. I know I’m supposed to come away from it thinking that JT is a major douche, and while I do think that, I also feel badly that he was, in fact, dating his stalker for nearly four years and that it took him so long to ditch her clingy ass. If the genders were reversed in this story, we would have no problem saying that Biel’s actions made her seem gross and predatory.

In the wake of Biel and JT’s breakup, there have also been additional reports that it was all because of little Mila Kunis. Mila and Justin worked together last year, and rumors were going around that Justin was really trying to make it happen with Mila, but that she wasn’t really interested. Then, Mila announced her split with Macaulay Culkin, and she and Justin were spotted together a lot during the awards season. And now a source tells E! News, “Justin is very interested in Mila. They’ve been flirting, but so far nothing has happened.” I believe that. I believe that Mila is Justin’s first choice for a new girlfriend. And I believe that JT’s first choice is making Olivia Munn hyperventilate a little bit – she’s been trying to nail this JT thing down for MONTHS.

Anyway, Biel and her publicist went to People Magazine to try to do some damage control with the post-split analysis so that Biel doesn’t come across looking so pathetic. A “source” tells People that the breakup “really was mutual. There really wasn’t a final straw. They’re just two people who realized they wanted different things in life and were headed in different directions. It was just easier to end it now rather than later. It’s never easy when a relationship ends, but she knows this needed to happen and she’s moving on with her life.” The source (who is sounding more like Biel by the minute) also said that regarding the “rumors” of Timberlake’s infidelity, “There was never any proof. When you’re in a relationship, you have to choose to believe the person or get out.” Oh, and People Magazine even got another source, who is totally not Biel, to say that Biel “looked the other way” when it came to Justin’s cheating. FINALLY. At long last, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have finally split up. God knows how many times JT has screwed around on Jessica, and with God knows how many women. He tried to get with Mila Kunis, who wasn’t having it, but there was Olivia Munn and various backup dancers, and Amanda Seyfried certainly seemed up for it. TMZ’s source says that the breakup was a “pretty mutual decision … and both parties still ‘love and respect each other.’” Us Weekly’s source says: “It was mutual. Jessica is doing well.” Considering Jessica and JT released a JOINT statement, I don’t think we’re in for another debacle where, say, Us Weekly releases a story calling Jessica psycho and clingy and JT a cheater, only to have them still stay together.

The two decided to end their relationship recently and “there are no hard feelings,” a source tells PEOPLE exclusively. “It was completely mutual and they both decided it was time to move on.”

The source adds that Biel is keeping her house in L.A. and she and Timberlake, who started dating in 2007, will remain friends.

Reps for the couple released a statement Thursday, confirming the split: “Addressing the media speculation regarding Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s relationship, we are confirming that they mutually have decided to part ways. The two remain friends and continue to hold the highest level of love and respect for each other.”

Timberlake, 30, and Biel, 29, were spotted together looking cozy as recently as the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party on Feb. 27.

So, JT is finally officially single again. You know Olivia Munn is probably already sexting him, thinking that she’s next in line to be his girlfriend. That being said, I doubt JT will go with Olivia for anything more than a fling – he wants a movie star. He’ll try for Mila Kunis again, especially given that they’re both single now. Don’t do it, Mila!

As for Jessica… well… I’m about to say something that may disturb some of you. But I’ve always felt that women like Jessica Biel and her BFF, Jennifer Garner, are the kind of women who won’t let their current partner go without a jumpoff in place. I think that’s why Garner hasn’t left Affleck – she hasn’t found his replacement yet. And it wouldn’t surprise me at all if, in a few weeks time, we start hearing rumors about Jessica with some dude, someone that she had waiting in the wings.

God, how much does Justin Timberlake suck? Like, so HARD. He got to present with Mila Kunis, and their little thing together on stage made me dislike them both. I think JT really, really wants to get into Mila’s Spanx, and now I’m kind of wondering if Mila is up for it. But JT has serious girl drama – he brought his mom as his Oscar date, which is notable because JT has a girlfriend who enjoys going to the opening of any envelope, and she probably pitched a fit when she found out she wasn’t going to be his Oscar date. Still, Jessica Biel got to get all dressed up… for the post-Oscar Vanity Fair party. Because she couldn’t be ignored. Here’s Biel in a surprisingly nice Versace – it would have been better on the Oscar red carpet, right? Hahaha.

Also at the VF party? Jessica Biel’s nemesis and JT’s ex, Cameron Diaz, in a biscuit-flasher dress. God, Camy. When did you get so pathetic and trashy? This is the kind of dress Pamela Anderson would wear. Tacky.

Ugh, Amanda Seyfried does one interesting thing every three months, and I hate that no one has high-quality photos yet!! Amanda is the March cover girl for Interview Magazine to promote her role in Red Riding Hood. Justin Timberlake interviewed her for the magazine and… remember this post that I wrote? When everyone started reporting that Amanda and Ryan Phillippe were pretty much done and I suggested Amanda get on Justin Timberlake, because he was exactly the kind of smarmy douche she goes for? Yeah. Amanda got my memo. Because she was flirting her ass off in this interview:

Seyfriend and Timberlake became friends whilst they were shooting the forthcoming sci-fi movie ‘Now’ and editors of ‘Interview Magazine’ decided that the singer would be the ideal candidate to chat with Seyfried about her new movie ‘Red Riding Hood’.

However, half way through the conversation, the 25-year-old actress surprised the singer by confessing that she had conducted the interview completely naked, saying, “I think I should mention that I’m not wearing any clothes”.

Timberlake, clearly taken aback by the remark, replied, “Well, if that’s how you’d like to be interviewed then that’s totally fine”.

Seyfried added, “I’m most comfortable in my birthday suit”.

The actress, who split from boyfriend DOMINIC COOPER in May 2010, says she is worried about visiting London again for a forthcoming promotional tour, telling Bang Showbiz, “I haven’t been back to London since before we split. It’s tough. I need to get back. But it’s hard when your relationship starts there and then goes on for three years”.

‘Red Riding Hood’ is set to hit cinemas on 11th March 2011. Set in a medieval village, the movie follows the story of a young girl who falls for an orphaned woodcutter much to her family’s displeasure. Seyfried stars alongside LUKAS HAAS and GARY OLDMAN.

In this week’s print issue, Us Weekly reports that Justin Timberlake was “aggressively pursuing” Mila Kunis at a SAG Awards after-party. Sources say that Justin and Mila sat alone with each other for most of the night, and in insider tells Us Weekly, “Justin’s always seemed interested in pursuing something with Mila.” Also, JT was “obsessed” with Mila when they worked together on Friends With Benefits last year, and JT got super-jealous when Mila spoke to other guys at the SAG party. This backs up previous reports claiming that Justin was all over Mila when they worked together, and was even using the same old pickup lines on her, the ones that worked on Olivia Munn. All of which might be slightly cute in a “wow, JT is really into Mila” way if not for the fact of JT’s long-suffering girlfriend Jessica Biel. I mean, Biel is pretty much JT’s “girlfriend” in name only, considering Justin is out there, boning backup dancers and Olivia Munn and trying to get with Mila. But Biel still clings to this loser, for some reason, and even tries to PR her way out of everyone thinking her boyfriend is a compulsive cheater:

It was hard to miss: Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis spent much of the night after the Screen Actors Guild Awards hanging out together at the PEOPLE/Entertainment Industry Foundation SAG Gala.

Then later on Sunday night, the singer/actor and his Friends With Benefits costar were “pretty inseparable” at another bash thrown by the Weinstein Company and Dewars, an observer says.

But a source insists “they’re friends” – period.

As for Timberlake’s girlfriend, Jessica Biel, the actress rarely walks a red carpet with Timberlake. But despite their lack of PDA, “Justin and Jessica are definitely together,” says the source. “They’re happy in their relationship.”

So… Biel made sure that People Magazine reported that she and Justin are just fine, thank you very much, and then she had Life & Style (via Jezebel) report that she visited Neil Lane by herself… because she was shopping for her own engagement ring. Is she planning on dumping Justin and “marrying herself”? Or is Biel just going to keep on dragging this junk out for longer and longer? You know what would have been easier than all of this post-SAG PR? If Biel had just gone to the SAGs with JT. But I’m guessing that she wasn’t invited. Which leads me to a suggestion for Biel that’s even easier: dump him.

Back in November, Us Weekly had the “scoop” that Justin Timberlake had screwed around on Jessica Biel. What was new about this particular report? They had a name – Olivia Munn, that unfunny chick who somehow got a gig on The Daily Show. As I went through the full Us Weekly cover story at the time, it became pretty clear that the story/gossip had originated from Team Munn, if not Olivia herself. All of the quotes were about poor, betrayed Olivia and how Justin Timberlake had viciously lied to Olivia about his relationship with Jessica being over and done, and how he had just used her for sex, etc. Justin denied the story, and Olivia played some games with the other magazines, getting her rep to say stuff like “Olivia doesn’t comment on her personal life” and “Who?” (I’m paraphrasing). Anyway, another chapter, via Life & Style/HuffPo:

Justin Timberlake is up to some old tricks in the New Year. Though he denied reports last fall that he cheated on longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel, 28, with actress Olivia Munn, Life & Style has learned he’s still reaching out to Olivia. Over New Year’s weekend, an insider reveals, the Perfect Couples star, 30, was showing her phone to a few friends.

“She had several new text messages from Justin on it,” the insider says. “They’d all been sent very recently, the last few weeks of December.”

And they were hardly innocent.

“One said, ‘My relationship is basically over,’ ” says the insider to Life & Style. “The other said, ‘I’m thinking about you.’ There was part of a third that said something like, ‘You don’t understand how hard it is.’ I didn’t see that entire text, so I’m not sure how that sentence ended.”

A rep for Justin, 29, declined to comment. Olivia, says the insider, is texting back – yet keeping her distance.

“She’s super flattered,” says the insider, “but she’s not stupid. She’s not expecting it to go anywhere – but she’d love it if it did!”

Once again, it sounds like the story is coming from Team Munn. What is it with this chick? I mean, yes, JT is a douchebag and a cheater and a liar. No question. And Jessica Biel should totally dump him, but it’s pretty clear that Biel lets him do whatever and whoever he wants as long as they still get to be a “couple”. So what is Olivia getting out of it? My honest-to-God theory is that she really does want to be JT’s jumpoff, and she’s trying to publicly push him into either dumping Jessica or getting Jessica to dump him. Scarlett Johansson and Justin Timberlake have circled around each other before. Back in the beginning of 2007, there was a lot of gossip that JT has cheated on Cameron Diaz with ScarJo, and that he basically was trying to make Scar his jumpoff. Some other stuff went down, and Justin ended up with Jessica Biel – my personal theory was that Scar was fine with some JT hookups, but that she had no interest in being his girlfriend. Because that’s the way Scar used to roll – she really didn’t give a f-ck. Anyway, now that Scarlett is single again, and now that it’s well known that Jessica Biel allows Justin to do whatever and whoever he wants, guess who is rumored to be hittin’ it?

Yeah… I don’t think Biel has anything to worry about. Not that Biel shouldn’t be concerned that Justin seems to be trying to line up a potential jumpoff – Mila Kunis, anyone? I missed this yesterday – according to Page Six, Justin Timberlake STILL thinks he deserves an Oscar nomination for his role in The Social Network, and he’s still in the midst of some kind of awards season campaign. Now, I actually saw The Social Network, and while JT wasn’t ghastly, it wasn’t really memorable, either. I walked out of the theatre thinking about how wonderful Andrew Garfield was and is, and how if any of the cast gets a nomination, it should be him. But that’s not going to stop JT from groveling to the Academy:

Justin Timberlake is mounting an aggressive campaign to land himself a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his role in “The Social Network.” The singer-actor is pushing to land the nod as his movie career takes off with three pictures out this year.

A source close to Timberlake, 29, who’s currently filming sci-fi thriller “Now” in Los Angeles with Amanda Seyfried, said, “He’s hell-bent on getting a nomination this year even though he has tough competition from his co-star Andrew Garfield. Sony is footing the bill for advertising the awards campaign, but Justin is also doing things his own way, including attending Academy screenings on his own and privately reaching out to award winners and Academy darlings Tom Hanks and Kevin Spacey for campaigning advice.”

Timberlake faces competition not only from Garfield but from Geoffrey Rush, who plays a speech therapist in “The King’s Speech,” and Christian Bale, who stars as the trainer to boxer Micky Ward (played by Mark Wahlberg) in “The Fighter,” which opens Dec. 17.

Timberlake’s reps declined to comment, but another source confirmed, “He’s doing everything to support ‘Social Network.’

How about phrasing it this way, “source”: “Andrew Garfield should get a nomination, but JT is going to whine like a baby until the Academy recognizes his terrible line readings. Plus, who gives a crap about Andrew Garfield anyway?!?”

LaineyGossip’s sources say that JT is even bargaining with Academy, saying that he’ll do stuff in exchange for a nomination. Does he really think this is how Oscar campaigns are run? It isn’t. And Timberlake’s neediness and ego will end up turning people off. Let’s hope any other potential nominations the film might get won’t suffer because of JT.

Last week, one of the big stories was Us Weekly calling Justin Timberlake out for cheating on his long-suffering girlfriend Jessica Biel. Once I had read the full Us Weekly piece, I felt strongly that Olivia Munn – JT’s alleged mistress/lover/jumpoff – was the one to leak the story. Maybe not Munn herself, but definitely someone in Team Munn, just because too many of the “unnamed sources” were tilted towards a position of “Poor Olivia, JT lied to her and promised that she’d be his girlfriend, how was she to know that he’s a player, despite all of the evidence?” Plus, I think Olivia figured two things: one, the story would be more sympathetic to her if she leaked it herself, rather than another tabloid reporting a colder version of the cheating story, and secondly, I think she really wants to be JT’s girlfriend, and she’s trying to force him to dump Jessica Biel, or have Biel dump JT.

So… keep that in mind when you’re reading Us Weekly’s follow-up. Either JT is totally pissed about the story coming out and he’s even closer to Biel, or he’s still “in contact” with Olivia Munn:

Justin Timberlake was fuming on the LA set of his new film, I’m.Mortal, October 27, the day Us Weekly revealed he had cheated on Jessica Biel by having a three-day affair with Olivia Munn in September. His rep strongly denied the liaison.

“He was talking on the phone and texting non-stop,” says an eyewitness. “He was in a foul mood and seemed pissed off.”

But bad news and his ensuing bad mood didn’t stop the actor-singer from communicating with Munn, 30 (he rep does not discuss her personal life).

“They have been in constant contact since the story came out,” a source tells Hot Stuff. “Justin says he loves talking to her because she makes him laugh. He wants to keep Olivia hanging on – and break up with Jessica.”

Meanwhile, Timberlake spent Halloween weekend with his girlfriend of nearly four years, in British Columbia (where she’s filming), prompting one insider to speculate, “He doesn’t really want to break up. He’s spending all his free time with her.”

For some reason, Biel and JT are sticking to each other like glue. It’s like they both think they need each other… either that, or they really do love each other…? I know some are of the opinion that JT needs his “Hollywood girlfriend” if he’s going to make it to the Oscars (chuckle), and that Biel needs him because he makes her relevant, but I’m going to be bold and suggest that neither of them needs the other one, and that they’d both be much more interesting without each other.

Also, one last story – Star Magazine (via Jezebel) is getting on Us Weekly’s bandwagon, and Star is reporting in this week’s issue that JT’s excuse to Biel was that he’s an “easy target” now that The Social Network is so successful. Right. Anyway, Jessica bought that argument, according to Star’s sources, “even though he’s been cheating on her for years.” Right? How is his attachment to a successful movie any bigger or better than his success as a pop artist?
