British singer Charlotte Church has a new talkshow in the works, and she wanted to book Paris Hilton for her first show to be aired this Friday. Instead of doing the show to, I don’t know - promote her album - and asking for travel fees and expenses, Paris demanded £350,000 which is $662,000. (The article says that £350,000 is $442,000 USD, but that’s incorrect.

Church balked and said that the fee was akin to buying a large house and that they’d have to do without Paris:

Paris got 1/2 a million for showing up to a charity event in Austria, which is her definition of “working hard,” so she probably thought the fee was justified. Maybe Paris can blame the failure of her new album on talkshows’ unwillingness to meet her exhorbitant appearance fee.

Despite the strong showing of its first digitally airbrushed single, “Stars are Blind,” Paris’ album is tanking on the charts and is widely perceived to be a flop. Oh well, she’ll still make money as long as she can slap her name onto shit.

Paris might not be able to sing live, but you see a lot of pictures of her all drunk with a microphone in her hand. You have to give the girl credit for trying.

You may have seen this yesterday on TMZ, but I usually don’t view videos from their site because they launch a pop-up window, take a while to load, and have loud commercials before them. Here’s the YouTube version. Poor Tara Reid waits outside of Hyde nightclub while Paris and Kim Kardashian come bouncing by and are waved right in. Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis comes out and give her a hug and a kiss while she’s waiting at the front of the line with a dejected look on her face. She supposedly said “I’m so yesterday,” but I didn’t hear it with all the background noise. She’s also said to be drunk, but I vote for just a little tipsy. She was probably saving the rest of her liver for the remainder of the night.

Unfortunately there’s no coverage of her being let into the club, but I hope for poor Tara’s sake it was just cut out for dramatic reasons.

This is not news, but it does confirm that Kim Kardashian’s eBay ID is *styleworld* (with asterisks around it) as we reported yesterday. She was seen out in the Christian Louboutin platform espadrilles, size 9, that she bought on eBay on April 24th for $445.00 plus $16.95 shipping.

Kim, 25, attended the “Entourage” LA premiere on 6/1 wearing the overpriced but discounted shoes. She was hanging out with Paris Hilton at the event. She is dating Nick Lachey and is the daughter of O.J. Simpson lawyer, Robert Kardashian.

You’ve probably already heard that Nick Lachey took Kimberly Kardashian, the daughter of OJ SImpson lawyer Robert Kardashian, 25, out to see the DaVinci Code on May 24th. It seemed to be a serious date, and Lachey is said to be enamored with Kardashian.

The source says that “Kim couldn’t care less about the Hollywood scene,” but here she is partying it up with Paris Hilton and her best buddy Caroline D’Amore at Matt Leinart’s NFL Draft Party at Pure on May 2nd. Nick Lachey was there too, and that may have been where the two met.

Paris was just linked with USC quarterback Matt Leinart after it was announced yesterday that she broke up with Stavros Niarchos. She’s not wasting any time because she showed up at a party at Pure nightclub at Ceasar’s Palace last night to celebrate Leinart’s draft into the NFL. She even sang at the event.
