Jennifer Lopez wore Tom Ford, Elisabetta Franchi & Hermes for her NYC promotion

Here are some photos of Jennifer Lopez out and about in New York this week, where she’s been making the promotional rounds at TV shows and junkets, all to hustle for her latest film, Office Romance. She’s been paired with Brett Goldstein for many of the interviews, and they have the sort of easy, comfortable chemistry which bodes well for a potential real-life romance. Jennifer still swears that she’s happily single, btw. Which, as I said over the weekend, is the way to play it if she really does want Brett to make a move. All of us J.Lovers are keeping our fingers crossed. More on that in a moment.

As for her street style-slash-promotional style… it’s been great. Tons of costume changes, lots of cute purses, separates and coats, and her makeup has been great too (a relief). That’s one thing you can always count on – Jennifer could be on her eighth divorce, heartbroken over some backup dancer d-bag, and you’ll never see her looking defeated. She’s always going to mogg. Some fashion IDs: that red leather coat is a $17,980 Tom Ford piece, and she paired it with her own Crocodile Porosus Birkin bag, which retails for $36K. The all-pink ensemble is SO 1990s, and I love it so much, it makes me want to cry. The white ruffled look is Elisabetta Franchi.

On Tuesday, Jennifer and Brett appeared on the Today Show, and Brett really is a champion J.Lover. He is truly one of her biggest fans, and he knows her career backwards and forwards. Obviously, Savannah Guthrie pressed them both on a potential real-life romance, but they both avoided the questions like pros. People have been hyping this video as “awkward” or like Jennifer “shut down” Savannah. Please – Jennifer has been in this game for three decades. She knows that she’s going to be asked about Brett and her dating life a million times, in a million different ways. All she did was joke about it and easily deflect and it was fine.

A dupe of that silky long skirt/thin cardigan combo is now on my shopping list

It’s gorgeous. People always talk about her red-carpet gowns and how she always has the same predictable sexy look, but they forget about J-Lo’s day looks. She is pretty iconic in how she mixes it up and uses all sorts of fabrics, silhouettes, and color palettes. I’ve always been a huge admirer of her fashion game for street looks and promotional looks. She never sticks to the same look. It’s when her absolute love of fashion shines through from her head to her toes in putting together looks. The attention to detail is fabulous.

She’s just going to walk around looking expensive, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it!

Nothing wrong with it, either. I have always preferred her street style and even her workout style to her OTT red carpet stuff.

I think I can copy that look for work next week! Hmmmm ( makes notes to self).

Me as well, I love the sweater paired with a long skirt look.

Some of these outfits are OK, but… it is 75º+ in NYC right now — is she not melting in these?

I wasn’t very nice in my (honest) critique of her boobs and dress in the other post, but I think she looks wowza in these pictures. Great. Her makeup and the dresses are lovely. I am mad for the red coat (coat dress?) and boots, I love all if it. it is very tasteful. Keep the girls in, Jen.

Her facelift is marvelous and I’m happy for her it came out so well.
