So the LA Lakers won some kind of fancy championship something…? Right? Sure. And Lamar Odom is a Laker. And he did well? I guess. So Lamar’s wife, Khloe Kardashian, decided to buy him a “Thank God you’re good at your job because I don’t work unless you consider being a famehwore work” present. The gift? A $400,000 Rolls Royce. White on white. For real.
How did Khloe Kardashian help Lamar Odom celebrate his recent Lakers championship win?
With a new Rolls Royce of course.
“It’s a brand new 2010 Rolls Royce …d rop-top coupe, white on white,” mom Kris Jenner tells E! News. “It was a Lakers championship present. Fabulous!”
Price tag? $400,000.
Odom, 30, was spotted cruising in his new wheels with his wife, 24, kids and some of the Kardashian clan on Father’s Day, according to E! News.
“What a year this has been for Lamar!!!!!” she recently gushed on her website. “Cheering on my hubby from the stands and watching the Lakers win the NBA championship last night was one of the proudest moments of my life!!!”

How did Khloe afford it? Am I not supposed to ask that? I know the Kardashian women aren’t exactly living hand-to-mouth, but I didn’t think their shows brought in enough money that Khloe could just drop $400,000 without blinking an eye. I mean, that’s a lot of corn dogs and Trim-Spa chili (or whatever Khloe eats). Or did Lamar pay for it and he just let Khloe “give” it to him? Anyway, it’s good to see the rich and famous are spreading the wealth down to us little people. Not there just leaves the “taste” issue of a white-on-white Rolls Royce. You know that will show every speck of dirt!
By the way, HuffPo did a big post on Khloe’s ugly leggings (below). Aren’t these things Chanel or something? I’m sure they were meant for a really thin girl, but I don’t see what the big deal is with Khloe wearing them. Yeah, they’re not flattering, but she doesn’t know how to dress for her body either.

These women make a pretty penny and if you don’t think E! is paying them a generous salary I beg to differ. So many girls are addicted to them, worship what they wear, buy what they recommend, endorsement deals with these girls are paying bank, and follow them twitter…uhh I follow Kim…so its not unreasonable that Khole could have brought it.
Also funny note: Who actually though the Lakers would lose? When I found out my mom bet against them I was like…OMG mom your nuts. LOL Yea it was a close game but the Lakers weren’t losing nothing. I wish I had been in some betting pools I would have cleaned up baby. I was to focused on the Black Hawks, where I wasn’t sure if they would win or but they did. yay but no bets there either.

Please the Lakers won by 4 points in game 7 and were behind for the first half of the game, at one point 13 points back. It wasn’t like they steamrolled the Celtics. Odom played terribly and doesn’t even deserve a Kia, much less a Rolls Royce for his sh*tty performance.

I’m pretty sure that there dad was OJ Simpson’s other lawyer. They are childhood playmates of the Hilton’s and probably trustfund babies. I highly doubt they “need” to make any money ever. Also, they have clothing lines and jewlery lines and god knows what else. This family is annoying as all get out but they a have good business team and they have no shame so if they see a way to make money they will exploit it (is there a cellulite cream yet?)

Here’s my take on the Rolls: I bet that Khloe herself has $400,000 in the bank to buy a Rolls, however I would bet that if she were not married to Lamar she wouldn’t be able to spend it on a car.
By that, I mean that if her husband weren’t really rich, and covering all of their living expenses (house, bills, incidentals) then she would need that $400,000 to live on…since Lamar is covering everything else (which she said on the show, he’s paying for their living expenses) her money has now become “fun” money, used for frivolous expenses like a Rolls.

Envy, jealousy and frustration keep cause poverty of the mind to some people. All they do is to say stupid things about others instead of going out and working hard like the kardashians. Kris is a mum that so many people can’t have becos she brought her family close to themselves. I don’t think all their money comes from the reality show and endorsements. They were rich before all of that. And i don’t think being their father being a lawyer, even a famous one, could set up the money this family has. I think I read somewhere that either their mother or father came from a wealthy family, shipping company overseas or something, not sure, I could be wrong.

Robert Kardashian was one of O.J. Simpson’s lawyers. He was super wealthy and he raised his daughters in that super rich life of privilege. Their mother got rich off the divorce and then married Bruce Jenner, who was also quite wealthy.
I’m sure she financed the car, and didn’t put down the full $400,000. White on white seems an odd choice for someone with kids, but I think that’s the point (“we’re so rich we can afford to keep a white Rolls clean!”).
I actually think the leggings make Khloe’s legs look slimmer. I’m a SAHM in my milk stained t-shirt, so I know nothing about fashion! Is it Khloe? I can’t keep “the other two” straight.

The Lakers barely pulled it out & Lamar had little to do with it. Fortunately, during the games, the cameras never panned over her face (altho i read somewhere she missed a couple of games). They showed the other celebs sitting there (lots of Kobes wife) but not her. My son also says they didn’t show her in the parade either, he says it looks like they tried to avoid her. He said it looked like her mom tried to get in front of the camera! These people are trashy and annoying.

I kind of feel bad for her for everyone ripping on her for buying him a car with “his” money. Isn’t that something all married couples run into? I think most married couples view household finances as “theirs,” not “his” or “hers,” and that this is common regardless of how much or how little money you have. Last year my husband and I didn’t do holiday presents for each other because it seemed silly to buy each other gifts with money we jointly earn. Like, “Here! Look what we both technically bought you!”

I used to like Khloe, I thought she was the strong one but ever since she hooked up with Lamar she has changed into an insecure baby. I know I am only getting my info from the shows and that they aren’t exactly “reality” but who in their right mind would want to be protrayed in that manner if it weren’t true? She reminds me of how insecure and insignificant I felt with my first boyfriend.
And why did Lamar stay at a hotel when visiting her on the show? It seems strange that he didn’t stay at the fabulous condo they are renting or own in Miami? Somthing is not right about their relationship.
