Linnocent is “angry, blind-sided” after her “ridiculous” sentence

lohan1

So Linnocent ended up in jail on Friday after all. But it was only for five hours, and then she got bailed out (at the cost of $75,000). I’m still unsure about the logistics of all of this, but here’s what I think is happening: Linnocent gets to be out on bail until her trial, and then no matter what happens in her trail (for her crack thievery), whether she is found guilty or not guilty, Linnocent has to report to jail for her 120-day sentence, which will likely be carved down because of overcrowding. Also mandatory: the 480 hours of community service. So… what does Linnocent think of all of this? As you can imagine, she’s been crack squawking to enablers, who in turn have been crack squawking to various media outlets.

It’s been a rough couple of days for Lindsay Lohan. The actress returned to Lynwood Jail on Friday after a topsy-turvy day in court, and she is frustrated with the status of her jewelry theft case.

“She is fine,” says producer Nathan Folks, who is a close friend of Lohan, 24. “Obviously, she is upset about [being sentenced to four months in jail].”

On Friday, a judge found Lohan, who is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace, in violation of probation and sentenced her to the jail time and a hefty 480 hours of community service, which Folks admits was a “setback.”

But she was allowed to post bail and released within hours of getting booked. Lohan remains free pending an appeal of the sentence, which legal experts say she has slim chance of winning.

“She is angry because she has been working so hard on turning her life around,” says Folks, who insists Lohan is clean and sober. “She didn’t do what they said she did. She didn’t steal that necklace.”

Still, Lohan is resigned to accept whatever decision comes down from the court when her trial begins June 3.

“She is ready to do her time. She wants to go to A.A. and N.A. and to serve her [more than] 400 hours [of community service],” Folks says. “She has already been doing lots of charity work.”

[From People]

Hahahaha… “She has already been doing lots of charity work.” I think Linnocent counts beating her AA counselors and then paying them off “charity work.” TMZ’s sources describe Linnocent’s state of mind in more colorful terms:

If you were shocked Lindsay Lohan got sentenced to jail yesterday, you’re not alone — sources close to LiLo tell us no one was more shocked than she was.

Lindsay was sentenced to 120 days in jail yesterday by Judge Stephanie Sautner she was bailed out of Lynwood Correctional Facility after spending five hours inside.

Sources close to Lindsay tell us she was under the impression she’d be going home after the hearing … and was “blindsided” when she got sentenced. We’re told Lindsay described the situation as “ridiculous” and “f**ked up.”

According to our sources, Lindsay spent her Saturday with her sister, Ali, and her brother, Michael Jr. We’re told Lindsay is glad she’s not behind bars (for the moment) and is looking forward to appealing.

[From TMZ]

Ah, Our Lady of the Immaculate Crack Hustle. You know that old political saying, “The campaign’s over, stop running”? I feel like some one should give that kind of advice to Linnocent. There is nothing left to hustle, bitch. Stop trying to “manage” and “manipulate” your way out of this. It’s over. You are over. Just do the time, take a break from the spotlight, get real help or simply go away for a long enough period of time so that we forget about all of the crack shenanigans. Linnocent, you weren’t “blind-sided” and the only thing that is “f*cked up” is the California legal system. JUST STOP.

She’s not “over” until people stop writing and reading about her. That would be the ultimate punishment and gift. Ignore her so that she would have to straighten out and work to get her career back. All this attention just enables her behaviour.

Valid though your point may be, it’ll never happen. Our society is simply too enamored with ‘rubber-necking’, slowing down to watch the ‘train wreck’ that is celebrity downfall, too afraid that looking away will cause us to miss something that could make us feel even more superior than we already do.

Even if every one of us on CB never read/wrote another thing about her, it’d still keep going. It’s a major flaw in society, but it’s definitely not a new one.

I think the general public is “blindsided” and angry at her sentence as well. We’re sick of how she somehow always skates out of any punishment for her many crimes. What has her “charity” work got to do with paying for her crimes?? And yeah the thought of this “child” ever doing any “charity” work is laughable….

I haven’t read the article yet, I just needed to scroll down and share that when I came to the tab and the only thing on my monitor was the top 3/4 of that picture it looked like a horrific wardrobe malfunction with a terrifying nipple…thing going on. Which is how I imagine her tits to look by now.

LL is never going to learn anything. This will NOT change her, She’s been to jail several times already and she’s already been to a morgue (2008).

She’ll be partying in no time.

  14. Roma says:

@Kaiser: My understanding is that she was found to have violated her parole but since she’s appealing, she was allowed to post bail.

So she should have an appeal hearing for her probation, plus the trial for the misdemeanor. I just don’t know if the appeal gets wrapped up into the other trial as if she’s found guilty, additional time time will be tacked on.

But if she wins her trial there is a very good chance the probation violation could be tossed out.

I really just want her ass thrown in jail.

Maybe if she would just stop the drugs, drinking and especially the lying her life would turn around. You live what you learn. And this girl was raised to do anything to get what she wants. Anything.

The only thing “ridiculous” and “f**ked up” is that she wasn’t forced into jail sooner. (I would actually give her credit for succinctly summing up how we all feel about her crack-nanigans, but I feel bitchy this morning [BIG Easter dinner mess to clean up], my throat’s killing me, and the baby was up at 5 for the 2nd morning in a row.)

And being in the “entertainment industry” can mean a lot of things: You could be a prostitute; a “hostess” at a bar/club; an actual actor or comedian; or perform endless crack-nanigans, providing us with belly laughs and endless “entertainment.”

  24. Hautie says:

So wouldn’t it benefit Lohan to plead out now, since it is a misdemeanor.

Chances are the DA would be willing to let it go since the Judge has already sentence her to the 120 days. Plus the 480 hours of community service.

And even in CA I can’t believe she would get anything but a slap on her hand, for this misdemeanor.

The DA had lost this battle as soon as the charge got lower to a misdemeanor.

So now the DA is going to have to suck it up and accept the only time Lohan is ever going to serve is this 120 days.

Which most likely will turn into less than 21 actual days in the county lock up.

Oh Bitch, you did steal it and everyone knows it. If you didn’t, instead of dropping the charge to a misdemeanor, the judge would have thrown the case out for lack of merit. Stupid Crackhead Whore

@Logan“Oh please, if Lindsay Lohan was already doing lots of charity work her fame wh*** of a mother would make sure there were lots of cameras there to catch it.”

Yep. I’m sure she subscribes to the idea “If a tree falls in the woods, & no one is around, does it make a sound?” … only she’s altered it to fit her crack-purposes: “If Lindsay does something ‘selfless’ for charity, but no one is around the document it, did she really do it (& what was the point)?”
    ——
This shit happens every day in our legal system, it’s not just LA that’s flawed. Honestly, the only thing I truly get upset about in regards to her lack of punishment….

Is that she already had *1* DUI. She demonstrated a lack of awareness (or concern) & decided to drive a car drunk. There’s no reason to think she won’t again. She’ll end of truly hurting someone, perhaps even killing them. That’s all I care about.

ALL jewelry stores that loan jewelry to celebs have publicly come out saying there is a ton of paperwork that gets filled out etc. She stole that necklace and the fact that she is NOT taking responsibility for it PROVES she hasnt changed and has not cleaned up her act sober or not.

Her woe is me story? Plleeaassee! no one cares. She has brought all her troubles upon herself. Granted she has the worst parents and wasnt given many boundaries but she is now an adult and has had many chances to get her act together and has choosen not to.

Only in Crackland could the sentence be “ridiculous” and “f*cked up”.
Now the rest of us, the ones that live in reality, not delusion think the EXACT SAME THING!

“She is ready to do her time” Umm No Shes Not. If she was she would not keep stalling and not file an appeal.

“She wants to go to A.A. and N.A. and to serve her [more than] 400 hours [of community service],” Folks says. Is this guy FOR REAL? Is this guy a comedian? Does this dude say these things for grins because I know thats what I did when reading that quote. This twit does NOT want to do community service, who does he think he’s kidding? I’m betting the ranch she does NOT even complete half in the allotted time. You know because she “WORKS” As far as AA and NA, the only time she attends these meetings is when a judge mandates she go. This twit can’t go her car IN HER GARAGE and retreive her crack pipe without being papped, so if she was attending AA or NA meetings, we’d all know about it.

“She has already been doing lots of charity work.” See the last above sentence.

@Chris – I agree that it probably (definitely) started out that way… self medicating.

But she’s taken it beyond that realm the several times she’s gotten herself into real trouble… Going out of her way trying to have a ‘good time’ is what makes me consider it ‘partying behavior‘.
