  1. it’s funny that she sues everyone for taking topless photos while every other magazine spread has her boobs on full display–wasn’t she topless for that GQ “Man of the Year” cover? Not to mention she doesn’t wear a bra to fully show her always perky nipples. ANYWAY… I get a feeling Aniston’s glory days are over. The same photo was posted on another gossip site, with very little interest. She has no movies coming out, that weird relationship with Vince seems to be winding down, the Nike rumor was just a rumor and if she is really recording an album now, it’s going to be a nail in her coffin. Does anyone else feel it too?

  2. P.S. Courtney looks good, as always. Check out the first photo in the lower row–J’s expression is priceless.

  3. That was very well put, Millie. I’ve seen episodes of “Friends” where Aniston isn’t wearing a bra, either. I agree that her time is almost up. I don’t know if she’s recording an album, but I saw those pictures of her leaving the recording studio and if she is, you’re right.

  4. I agree that her career is over. I think the only reason she ever had a career is because she hooked up with Brad and they used the tabloids to keep their names front and center. She’s strictly a sitcom actress and doesn’t have the depth to make it on the big screen.

  5. well, she needs to hitch her wagon to a big male star to make it in Hollywood. She didn’t know how good she had it with Brad–just look at other Friends. I don’t wish her any harm, but she’s not meant for a big screen career and she’s lucky she went so far with her limited range and looks. She’s young, pretty and super rich, she never has to work a day in her life again. I only wish Brad would come out to tell his side of the story but he won’t do it. He didn’t do it with Gwyneth and won’t do it with Jen. I only hope that Jen will have enough sense to eventually admit what really happened in their marriage. The way he handled Gwyneth makes me think he’s not as bad as Jen makes him look.

  6. Sorry to lower the level of conversation here, but good God, Aniston’s looking rough. Can she not afford conditioner or a hairbrush anymore?

  7. Don’t ask me why, but even though I’m not fond of celebrities in general I often feel compelled to stick up for Aniston. Pitt is no saint — it’s pretty obvious from the short timeline that he hooked up with Angelina before the marriage was over. He’s not talking because it wouldn’t benefit him. Aniston hasn’t talked either, other than one Vanity Fair interview in which she refrained from accusing him of cheating. Everything else that’s been said has been from dubious second hand sources. Yes, Aniston’s career is almost over. She’s almost 40 and that’s the kiss of death in Hollywood. Yay, let’s celebrate the fact that we live in a culture that doesn’t value older women. In terms of charity, I don’t remember the source, but I did read that Aniston does contribute her own money pretty generously. I personally prefer stars who donate discretely to stars who do the spokesman bit but not much else (I’m thinking Lohan, not Angelina). To me Aniston is just an aging actress whose husband dumps her for a younger model but who somehow ended up the bad guy because of it. There, finished venting. Carry on.

  8. well, people will always want to stick up for someone they perceive to be a victim. Brad has never shown himself to be a dog and that’s why I doubt he just check out of the marriage because a younger model appeared on the horizon. Maybe she didn’t accuse him directly but she did plenty of passive-aggressive play with all the “sensitivity chip” talk, crying to the VF reporter and suggestions that he was not “available emotionally” to her. Let’s not oversimplify it by “our culture does not value older women”–while I agree with the statement, I don’t agree it applies to her situation. Her success on Friends led her to believe that she should have a big screen career. As the experience of other “Friends” shows, it’s very difficult. I never heard of her contributing generously to charities, but whatever you say. If this is a jab at Angelina, I’d say that I value more someone who actually does the field work rather than just throws money at the issue. I agree that Lohan is a joke. Jennifer Aniston is a successful sitcom actress who somehow attained movie star status by marrying a big star. She doesn’t seem to see it this way. I also think that she missed the boat by postponing/refusing to have a child with Brad-just don’t give me this “women don’t have to give up careers to be baby-makers”.. I agree, but everything in life is a choice. If she didn’t want to have kids with him knowing that he was desperate for a child, she should have seen it coming and should be more honest now instead of letting everyone blame Brad. Not to mention that stars really don’t have to give up much these days, maybe a few months at most (look at Rachel Weisz). My feeling is that she didn’t love him enough to do it and he finally realized it was not going to work. If it was him postponing kids indefinitely, everyone would have told her to leave him. In short, I don’t feel sorry for her because she’s made her bed. It’s not about aging, it’s about facing your choices. I think that this “pity party” approach is going to backfire big time for her.
Sorry for the length of this post!
