These are some new photos of Jennifer Lopez yesterday at the big announcement of her summer tour. J.Lo is going to be touring with Yandel and Enrique Iglesisas on a 13-date North American tour with performances in Montreal, Chicago, LA, Atlanta and Miami. Jennifer was also shilling her relaunched website, which will feature lots of new stuff and give-aways and sneak peeks and stuff.
But we just need to talk about Jennifer’s dress, right? Because that’s the only think I can focus on. I LOVE HER GLITTER SNAKE!!!!! Jennifer’s glitter-snake makes the outfit. And I believe the glitter snake is part of the fug Lanvin dress too – which is ridiculous. I don’t really understand why so many of these celebrity ladies are into Lanvin – I don’t think the label has a cohesive “look” and more often than not, the clothes look cheap and poorly-made. Like, this dress is made of silk, but it looks like really cheap Walmart cotton. But… the glittery, crystal snake is amazing. We need more built-in snakes on our clothes. Make this happen, fashion industry.
As for Jennifer’s styling – she looks tired. I like when she keeps her hair in some kind of loose style, because she goes to “Croydon facelift” style much too often. And please don’t criticize her curves – I’ve always loved her shape. Her body is fine. It’s the dress that sucks.
And of course she arrived at the tour announcement with Casper too. Of course. Casper is totally going on tour with her. She’ll make him lead backup dancer, and for every dance-break in each of her songs, she and Casper will break it down. Ugh.

I do think she is a likeable personality on AI. But about 80% of the time I wonder where in hell she got the silly cheap-looking clothing she wears. There’s always something off about it – strange jewelry, top too short, doesn’t fit right, hairy leotard looks ridiculous, etc.
Also I wonder about Casper’s Emilio Pucci-looking looking unfinished neck tattoo. wtf?

That dress is terrible. Mostly because of that stupid, creepy, cheap looking snake around her neck. Second because that colorblocking does horrible things to her figure. On a less curvy woman, minus the snake, it would be a bit better.

I have never understood her “show” skills. She just poses a bit in front of turbo fans with dramatic lighting and runs around onstage, stopping at the dancers. Has anybody ever seen her just stand there and actually sing an entire song? I’m starting to wonder how she fills up a live show, because the stuff on TV she does in other shows looks like part of a medley with dozens of dancers doing all the real work, and then she goes offstage, and we’re all supposed to think she did something fantastic. I don’t get it.

Can’t blame a guy for taking an opportunity that is freely offered. While I find him 100% unappealing and gross, he must have something she wants. I get the willies seeing them together because all I see is a guy out with his mom. Probably because I am her age, and I have a 20 yo son. I don’t LOVE the snake, but don’t hate it either(; I do think it would be better with a different dress (or maybe not even a dress… I’m thinking jeans and heels, or jeans and some amazing boots!) The ‘garment’ the snake is attached to is awful and is making my eyeballs nauseous… the poor snake looks like it wants to flee.
So, note to designers…. if there must be a glitter snake, make it a SEPARATE accessory!

All I can see is her hair, which is FINALLY not pulled back in a painfully tight bun/updo, and consequently makes her look much younger. Can someone please tell her hairstylist to take some notes? This hair is SO much better that I am willing to ignore that snake thing. I usually have nothing nice to say about her, but props for the hair are in order.

She probably spends far more time with her children than a mother who commutes to work every day, spends a full day at work, commutes home, cooks dinner (not playing with the kids), on and on. Jen has the luxury of having her young children with her. When has she toured? Not for years until now for the summer. I didn’t know you were around her to know how much she sees her kids. Not only are the guys you mentioned actually seen with their children, but they aren’t seen night after night out partying. I’m not suggesting I know what JL does with her time, but she is rarely pictured with her kids (could be by design… trying to protect them… personally, I don’t think this is the case), yet seen OFTEN with her child-man skeezy boyfriend.

J Lo is tacky, vulgar and flamboyant. She’s a weak singer, an okay dancer but a hard worker and a good actor when she doesn’t try so hard. I love her because she’s one of the few stars out there who truly gets the concept of being a glamorous star. I kinda love the glittery snake myself. Better than a real snake anyday and I love it when celebs have a little fun with their clothes. Don’t like the colour, the fit or the wonky hemline of that dress though. And yeah she looks tired but she’s still pretty.
Am I the only one who doesn’t have a problem with her being loved up with Casper? I’ll admit they moved kind of fast but he’s grown, she’s grown and they seem pretty exclusive with one another.
