As we discussed yesterday, Pippa Middleton has come to America with only some Wet N Wild liquid eyeliner and her DREAMS. And her hustle too. Oh, and her multi-million book contract and publicity tour to promote said book. These are photos of Pippa at the US Open yesterday, and returning to her hotel after attending the semi-final match between Victoria Azarenka and Samantha Stosur. Page Six says Pippa was a guest of Roger Federer, which fills me a sudden and unexpected rage. Pippa is tight with Roger Federer?!!? OH NOES.
Pippa’s color-block dress is by Paper London. Thoughts? I don’t hate it. It so much better than half of the clothes in her closet, many of which we’ve seen over the past year as Pippa became a “thing” after her sister’s marriage to Prince William. Pippa’s style is… questionable. But I don’t hate this. It flatters her figure, the colors are nice, and the front slit is sexy, and it shows off one of Pippa’s best assets, the Middleton legs. The only part of her outfit that fills me with anger is that stupid basket purse. How tacky.
Allegedly, Pippa is in New York to begin plotting her publicity tour for her book promotion – a book which comes out in the end of October. So why is she spreading her eyeliner all over Chelsea Handler’s boyfriend, Andre Balazs? Why is she making photo ops at the US Open? Well, I go back to Pippa’s hustle. Allegedly (and I have no idea if this is really true), Pippa turned down an offer to become her sister’s lady-in-waiting. Pippa doesn’t want to be beholden to her sister, Pippa wants fame and celebrity on her own terms. Which isn’t the worst thing, in my opinion. Thus, Pippa came to New York to see if she could “happen” in the American celebrity culture, to gauge the interest in what she’s got to sell.
Also – Pippa is still husband-hunting too! For a while during the US Open, Pippa was seated next to Spencer Vegosen, who is allegedly a Harvard grad and tennis player. You can see photos of him here – he looks like her type. More so than Andre Balazs.

It’s nice to see someone with athletic, shapely legs, as opposed to the sticks that so many celebs have.

I’m really impressed by her athletic abilities so I love that she uses her body in a functional way as opposed to some of these fake celebrities that only keep in shape to get more attention then use plastic surgery to go the extra mile.
The purse and the shoes are WAY off, but the dress is OK. Her body does look great in it, like you said. Also, she needs to ditch those sunglasses.

That dress would be cute if it actually fit. I’m pretty sure the placket isn’t supposed to be all puckered and straining like that. This girl sure knows how to make expensive clothes look like they came off the Walmart sale rack.

Something about her always screams ‘cheap’ no matter how expensive the clothes, and this outfit is no exception. She doesn’t clean up well. She and her sister have no style or taste on how to properly accessorize.
But Kate must have some advisers, because she manages to show up looking elegant and dignified from time to time.
For two people who have spent almost a decade shopping and holidaying and not having real careers, the Middleton sisters look so haggard and run-down. Husband-chasing and social climbing must be very difficult.

Yes, she is not pretty enough to be an actress or model (OMG!) and yes, she likes to go to parties, and yes, she has a book coming out. But honestly is that really worth hating the chick for? Pippa looks athletic and healthy and quite similar to how Kate was before the drastic weightloss. Now Kate looks quite frail and IMHO that’s not a good thing, esp. when you are trying to procreate.

I don’t see Pippa as being especially attractive for some reason. I don’t know what all the fuss is, except for the relationship to her sister. Until the wedding, we had never heard of her. She looks average. The purse is bad, shoes don’t really look right with the dress, dress is unimpressive, maybe too much color-blocking for her, and her face looks kind of hard or worn.
I thought she was coming back from a workout. I am not being catty. When I first looked at the picture I thought it was her workout clothes.
I had her purse when I was five. I am not joking. I think that purse is supposed to be new vintage.
All the pics I have ever seen of her I didn’t realize how muscular she is. I wouldn’t want to get punched by her, lol. She has beautiful legs. Love the muscle tone.
