I need a palate cleanser after Lindsay Lohan’s crack shenanigans, so here are some photos of our (collective!) Viking, Alexander Skarsgard. Alex attended a screening of his new film, What Maisie Knew, in NYC last night. Alex looks really good here, right? But then I’m always partial to him when he’s in a suit. I prefer him in business-y clothes rather than his ratty-looking casual clothes.
Meanwhile, earlier this week Deadline reported that Alex was the actor producers really wanted for the remake of The Crow. Tom Hiddleston was begging for the part and doing his own makeup tests and everything, but producers apparently weren’t that into Hiddles, and that wanted a Viking flair for The Crow. Well, it’s fascinating how that’s being played in the press. Tom Hiddleston is somehow (??) being allowed to save face and sources are now saying that Hiddleston has “distanced himself from the part” (ha). But it gets even weirder – when Alex was in NYC yesterday, he told MTV that he’s not attached to The Crow either. He said: “No, I’m not attached to anything right now after True Blood.” That could be technically true – Deadline didn’t say that Alex had signed on to the role, just that producers wanted him for the part. So will The Viking be The Crow? Dunno.

Thats what I keep hearing too. I am hoping it’ll be shown somewhere near me. This has been so frustrating not be able to catch any of his movies in theaters yet.
Glad to hear it’s as good as it looks – I’m really anxious to see it, but I don’t know if it will get wide enough release to get to my area.

In fact, I’d say it’s more likely that she’s dating Fares Fares. She was recebtly in Sweden for FF’s birthday (Alex wasn’t there) and there were comments on her instagram implying something between the 2 soooo….
When she was dating Alex friend she was not in Alex company that much . This has been constantly for months now . All in New York & LA . I remember he always was seen with Kate with friends too like that . Neither admitted it though until stories surface of a breakup between them 2 . Even last night at the premiere too. I could see that what you are saying but she wasn’t doing that before like that .If he is with her she is beautiful . I will be happy for them both . It is a Swedish woman . They do look great together .
I agree that something more is going on between Fares Fares and Caroline. Fares was always with Caroline and Alex but not always Alex was with them 🙂 The last time, during the promotion of Disconnect, Fares flew to New York a few days earlier than Alex, he hung out with Caroline (without Alex) and he was even at a special presentation Caroline at The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in New York and Alex wasn’t there at all.
The comments from their friends are also very telling and they show that these two definitely may be a couple.
