In the wake of Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom’s split, most of us have been focused on Miranda’s alleged infidelities. Like, she might have been banging Leo DiCaprio and Justin Bieber, perhaps even Gerard Butler. There was no shortage of “other men” when it came to Miranda gossip. But what if Orlando was fooling around too? Star Magazine claimed back in August that Orlando was very flirty with his Romeo & Juliet costar, Condola Rashad and that the flirtation was making Miranda jealous. Of course, we now know that Miranda and Orly were already separated (unofficially) at the time, so if Orly and Condola were hitting it, doesn’t he get a pass? Eh. In any case, Star is trying to make this rumor stick:
Insiders say things are anything but rosy between Orlando and Miranda. They are at odds over Orlando’s growing affection for Condola Rashad, his costar in the Broadway revival of Romeo and Juliet. In September, Star reported that Miranda was consumed with jealousy over Condola and Orlando’s apparent chemistry.
“Miranda has her suspicions,” said an insider. “She caught him in lies about where and who he’d been with.”
For his part, Orlando has admitted that sometimes when he kisses Condola on stage, he doesn’t want to stop.
For now, Miranda and Orlando continue their friendly façade, but pals say it’s merely to protect their images, adding that a scorned Miranda now wants primary custody of Flynn so she can move back to her native Australia.
“She wants to be close to her family, but Orlando loves New York. It’s going to be a huge fight.”

Maybe that’s what all of this about – damage control from Miranda so she can “win” the divorce and the custody fight for Flynn? In which case… I still don’t think many people will take her side. Simply judging from photos, Orlando is a great, hands-on dad who adores his son. Orly has also put up with a lot of nonsense from his wife, so I do think he’ll get more sympathy in general no matter what. That being said, I do think it would be interesting if Romeo and Juliet were hooking up in real life.

Orlando looks tired and worn in those Romeo + Juliet photos… Poor guy. Where has his career gone?
He’s not a good actor and he lacks charisma. He’s maybe *passable*. I absolutely adore Lord of the Rings and I felt that his performance was one of the weaker spots of that trilogy. He got lucky because he had the right *look* for Legolas, but did a barely passable performance of him. There are literally hundreds of trained actors with loads more talent who could have looked and acted that part far better. He got lucky and he’s done nothing to build on that one streak of luck since then. Because he lacks talent.
He also failed to use the momentum he had after the Pirates movies otherwise he still could have had a mediocore career. This is a caution tale for Henry Cavill

Interesting that you brought up Cavill. I’m not especially a fan (though I think he’s genuinely a nice, decent man and I tend to like to see such people succeed) but I’m curious to see how/where his career goes. He’s filming a movie now and has Superman locked in for at least one more movie. Aside from that he’s a hard one to read. I think his challenge is going to be staying out of the realm of “thirsty” actors, avoiding the PR stunt route, and steering clear of becoming another Hollywood statistic.
Maureen, your analysis is spot on. I like Orlando and I think he is really nice guy and a great Dad, but he is no acting talent. He did get very lucky with Lord of the Rings, Legolas is at best a supporting character and he was able to parlay that into some type of movie career for a while there. I do believe that he was able to keep the movie momentum going, his Legolas would not be a big part of the next two Hobbit movies and probably a cameo at best.
I kind of feel like this story is either damage control for Miranda or a way to drum up interest in the play. If there is something going on with him and Condola, well good for them.
A friend of mine, who has a lot of theater experience, saw R&J recently and wasn’t that impressed with him.
I think it’s kind of funny this rumor started, since there have been a TON of rumors about her fooling around.
I have a soft spot for Henry because of The Tudors forever. I think Henry wants a sort of action hero leading man career, like Tom Cruise, he doesn´t really have the talent to do serious character driven independent movies.
I think if he chooses his projects wisely he can establish a good career in that niche, he already went the thirsty route with the Kaley Cucou shenanigans, but hopefully he learnt something from it.

Admitted is obviously chosen to make it more dramatic but he said it in an interview. i wonder why. if your marriage is fine never ever say something like that, the media will be all over it and if you cheated or not, there will be ongoing rumours about it. his marriage was obviously over anyway so i wonder why he said it. just promo? (co stars always get portrait as the most awesome human beings) or wanted he to hit back at miranda?
i dont want to give a cheater a free pass but if they both had something it would be when the marriage was over anyway.
but the marriage wasn’t fine and, their announcement, they indicated they’d already been separated for a while so I don’t think this counts as him cheating

Wow. I had never seen Condola before…. She is *gorgeous* in that first pic… Her skin is smooth, spotless, & practically *glowing*. I want to know what brand of makeup she uses. *_* If what they say about Miranda wanting full custody so she can take their son out of the *country* is true, that is incredibly horrible & selfish of her. Reminiscent of the stunt Halle Berry tried to pull so she could take her child overseas.
Not only because Orlando deserves to be with his son too, but selfish against the son himself, for depriving him of his loving father, who *wants* to stay an active parent in his life. I always thought she came off totally arrogant (the type who always gets her way), but a lot of the VS Angels give off that vibe.
Off Topic – I need some suggestions. It’s come time for me to get some new foundation (& maybe concealer depending on how opaque the foundation is)… I’m white as porcelain, so finding a good brand/type of skin makeup can be really hard… Any suggestions?

As for foundation, I’ve very pale skin myself so I usually put factor 50 on first (from Shiseido, a bit pricey but you hardly have to use anything and it lasts me about 6 months) and use BB-cream from MAC, they have an incredible amount of different colours and I’m very pleased about the quality.

I was actually going to suggest Shiseido too, I use a liquid foundation by them (I think it’s just called The Makeup) and the lightest shade it comes in is actually the only makeup I’ve ever found that is light enough to match my skin! It is indeed a bit pricey but a little goes a long way so it lasts a pretty long time.
Off topic: Stila also makes great matches for the pasty skinned out there. Trust me…I’m both a natural ginger and a makeup artist.
I’m black but I would suggest going to a Bare Minerals counter and let them make you up. My skin is so much better since using their mineral powder. I used to use Mac, Fashion Fair and Iman but always had a tone, no more with Bare Minerals.
I also get compliments on my skin, not “I like your make up”
I’m a beauty blogger and I’ve tried tons of foundations. My favorite, hands down, is NARS Sheer Matte (matte formulation) or Sheer Glow (dewy/radiant formulation). It comes in a very wide range of shades, so hard-to-match gals (light and dark) adore this product. I swear by it – and I’ve tested hundreds of foundations. Good luck!
I don’t use any foundation, only BB cream which acts as a sunscreen, foundation-like coverage, wrinkle killer, and skin brightener all in one. The product is originally from Korea so I still use only Korean brands. I like Dr. G’s BB Cream and also one with caviar from the brand Hanskin. I’m also super pale. I have used Korean BB cream for several years and never, ever go a day without it. The benefits are undeniable. Make sure you exfoliate regularly before using this product. It is imperative that the surface of your skin be smooth and clean in order for the BB cream to go on evenly and to be the most effective.
I think he gets better looking as he ages. That is all I wanted to add.

poor Condola seems low key and I think that is what Orlando may be attracted to. Plus she is bright and a really good actress. Miranda definitely put the rumor out there to get sympathy and also to muddy the waters for a girl she sees as her rival.
She had Orlando, ring and all but she never seemed satisfied and craved more attention than he did.

Blind Gossip has reported for a long time that the infidelity was both ways. She was just more careless than he was. They were saying the marriage was on the edge because of the tit for tat games the couple was playing. And given that BG was right about them breaking up months ago and just waiting for the best time to announce, I am inclined to believe that they DID have an insider in this mess.
Maybe because I’ve never been separated but I just don’t get all this bullshit. YOU HAVE SEPARATED. You don’t get to be all pissy over possible relationships. You made your bed (or it was made for you), deal with it. Don’t do this. Sure, don’t give up on your marriage but don’t do it like this.

As Anna pointed out in the last set of photos I think, he looks like he’s still in love with Miranda so I don’t believe this story. I don’t believe she would move back to Australia either as a lot of her model work is here.
I’ve only seen Condola in one movie: Steel Magnolias (the remake). I felt pretty indifferent about her performance. Once I found out she was Phylicia Rashad’s daughter though, I felt impelled to love her lol… looking forward to seeing more of her work. Hopefully she’s not having an affair with Orlando.
I don’t consider this an affair. It seems like he was separated from Miranda since before he started R&J! He and Condola look like they have more in common anyway..
What a load of bull…. from Kerr’s team. Didn’t their joined statement say that they have separated for months, so that was before the R+J premiere. I’m thinking she let that little tidbit about her being jealous of his flirty behavior come out because she was aware their separation would be known by the media pretty soon afterwards.
There are just some things that don’t add up in this story, first of all Condola is in a long-term relationship herself (why only ruin one relationship if you could ruin two?), Orlando and Condola have never been spotted anywhere else besides the theater and the promotion. Miranda has infidelity rumors going back more then a year ago, and now that they come up again she hasn’t been seen or heard from. Bit strange for someone who has been posing in front of the paps every. single. day for the past two years…..
And that’s not even talking about the pics of her flirting with Butler or her wardrobe during Paris FW and if she does want to move back to Australia and get full custody I hope Orlando fights back for his son. You should think about these things before you have a child with someone half the world away from your home-country!
I doubt she´ll move to Australia, there aren´t that many red carpets and paparazzi, plus she wants to upgrade to someone richer and/or more famous than Bloom, and chances to find a guy like that in Australia are slim compared to America.
Yeah, I agree. Plus rumors are that she has burned plenty of bridges in her home-country. There is not much there for her professionally, hence the reason why she hasn’t been there for almost a year. Also her mother left her company in the beginning of this year and they haven’t been seen together since.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with Orlando dating Condola. If their marriage has been over for months, I see no problem. Kerr’s voice grinds me. Lately she has been trying to be seen with her son, but prior, the little guy was with Orlando 24/7. She just wants to keep her name out there.

Orlando is not “fooling around” with Condola. The play needs publicity, so what better way to garner publicity than for the two leads to hookup. Orlando is bisexual but prefers mostly men (allegedly).
The whole story of him cheating on her with Condola is only to take the heat off Miranda a bit since she’s gotten too big for her boots and made herself unlikeable…this story contradicts the statement they put out…I doubt Condola would want to be thrown under the bus for some publicity for the play, isn’t she super talented and well respected in the theatre world? Plus doesn’t she have a boyfriend?…Of the two, Orlando is the more likeable and tolerable one…I hope she avoids the whole Halle/Gabriel saga, it didn’t work in Halles favour at all! Flynn loves his father, all motives aside Orlando loves his son…No child should be kept away from either parent cos of childish nonsense.

So yeah, i don’t know if Miranda thinks he’s fooling around with Condola, but I sure do.

I believe the cheating and fame hoing went both ways. This is the dude that dated Kate Bosworth. Personally I think this rumor was started by both parties. The wording of their statement was so weird (separated several months ago), yet they were playing couple for the opening. I think THEY started the rumor to take the heat off Miranda and gain press for his show (while not making him look like just the cheated on shmuck).
Why is everyone convinced Miranda was cheating? Seems more likely they either had an open marriage or a contract marriage. I mean he was never even around it seemed like. Also I remember they talked about that cheesey proposal letter her wrote her and he gave it to her again on their second anniversary or something stupid like that. I knew they would not last because anyone who thinks a few years is a long time and treating it like a 20 year anniversary is not in it for the lib haul.
They were both not around eachother, when he was working in South Africa for months she was partying in New York, when he was working in New Zealand for months, she was again partying in Los Angeles and New York.
