Nicole Kidman made an appearance at last night’s CMT Awards to support her husband, Keith Urban. This was her first red carpet since the utter disaster that went down at the Cannes Film Festival – Nicole’s Grace Kelly movie was universally slammed by critics, and Nicole’s appearance at Cannes was universally slammed by everyone because she looked like a Botox disaster. This CMT appearance was also the first joint appearance by Nicole and Keith in months – there were rumors flying around a month ago that their marriage is faltering, although Nicole has said in many interviews that her marriage is fine.
As for this CMT appearance…Nicole wore Giambattista Valli Couture. Er… this looks super-cheap and poorly designed. What in the world? Even though we can debate whether or not Nicole looks like she’s made of wax these days, I remember a time (not so long ago) when Nicole could always deliver great fashion p0rn. This dress is beneath her.

As a girl with curly hair, I always looked up to Nicole and thought she was gorgeous. I agree, it is very sad how her ‘toxing seems to say that she isn’t happy with herself as she is.

Man. I love me some Kidman. After the Cruise divorce and the crap he threw at her for her to go on an eclipse him with an Oscar I thought was the best revenge ever. And after he tried to get back with her and she ignored him and moved on to Lenny Kravtiz I was all like yes ma’am to her. But seriously, the face, the botox, needs to stop. She needs to dye her hair back to being red since this blonde thing she keeps doing washes her out,

I agree with you 100%. She looks not into it anymore. Keith Urban is a nice looking man ,he’s getting popular in his music and doing American Idol.Nicole needs to pull herself together b4 its 2 late. Thats really sad.
Yes, they do look odd, like mother and child … but I like that Keith doesn’t mind his wife towering over him. He’s secure as a shorty married to a tall-y. (Ahem, Tom Cruise.)

I don’t like the dress but I think she looks pretty. I have always liked her as an actress and wish she would stay away from roles like Grace of Monaco.

I actually don’t mind the dress, but she always tones down her fashion when she goes to one of Keith’s events. She looks occasion appropriate and she’s not (purposefully) taking attention away from stars being celebrated so Id say she’s achieved the desired result.
Her face looks much better here than in Cannes. I’m not denying she’s had a ton of work, but poor make-up is also big part of her problem. Too often she goes too heavy and too pale with her foundation, which makes her face look much more mask-like than it does with better make-up or no make-up.
I honestly don´t understand this woman. She is (was) extremely beautiful and then she made herself into a wax doll with botox. She always had great body, she is tall, naturally lean and elegant and then she dresses herself into something that looks like she bought it on bazaar. At least she is body type that is most designers dream, she could be dressed perfectly in every occasion.
Today, plus goes to gorgeous shoes and hair. And her being taller than Keith i find rather cute since I also dated shorter guy once.

I like Nicole’s dress. And the one Brooklyn is wearing too.
What I would love to see… is Nicole go back to a darker auburn. And stop her obsession with that tragic blonde shade, that she keeps hanging on to.

She has really grey roots and I think she goes lighter because it doesn’t contrast as badly when the grey comes in. I realized that must be the reason when even in blonde hair I noticed a lot of grey , and that was like seven years ago. And then it hit me why she stays lighter. Although, this color has red in it. I love her darker also. But I think it just gets harder for her since she went grey in her late 30s, that when it grows in just a little it is a huge contrast to vibrant auburn hair.
L’Wren Scott was one of Nicole’s go to designers. They had a lot of successful looks together. Nicole may struggle a bit fashion wise following L’Wren’s death.
None of that excuses the frozen, porcelain face.
And she remained L’Wren’s lone styling client almost until L’Wren’s death. You’re right, that could very well be a factor.
I saw Keith a few times on American Idol and he looked really good; Every time I see him with Granny, he seems to have dead eyes.
Nicole’s dress looks like a pillow case. And her face is still a bit frozen, although not as bad as she appeared at Cannes.

I don’t care for the dress but what’s up with her face? Looks totally different – and not just because of an overuse of Botox, I’m afraid. Why does she keep doing that to herself? She used to be such a natural beauty back in the day. It’s sad. I don’t think she needs that.

I can excuse the dress, as someone said above it may be a bit of a stueggle for her (or her stylists) to find something that works now that L’Wren Scott is gone. Her face on the other hand….she looks Iike a wax statue. I work in a laser esthetics clinic and we offer Botox. I don’t think our medical director would EVER let someone walk out looking like that. It’s a shame because she really is gorgeous.
The Erin Fetherston dress is NOT mumsy or conservative. On the right person it would be charming and fresh. The lady who is wearing it however has a country club fake tan and mom hair. SHE is mumsy, not the dress.
Also, isn’t Brooklyn supposed to have a hot body? This dress flattens her chest, makes her hips look wide and her legs look short.
She was (or may still be?) a Sports Illustrated girl. She did that for a very long time. She’s 5′ 9″, so she’s taller than, say, Kate Moss. Her chest is DD and she’s always seemed sensitive about it (she says they’re why high fashion never wanted anything to do with her). She has a great body, but I think the past few years she’s been focused on acting and not so strict on the SI quality up-keep.
I love Decker’s dress. She has a massive chest.. It’s nice to see a woman of her build looking both covered AND cute. It’s a good combo, a nice balance.
Just saw her in The Railway Man, and while she didn’t have much of a part( or at least not much to work with in the way of dialogue), I couldn’t see past how her face just never wrinkled when she was talking, or anything else. It was this totally smooth surface, like a talking statue.
The movie, tho, is well done but pretty rough going in spots.

Brooklyn Decker looks very pretty actually, I like the simple dress and hair. I am not a conservative dresser but I like simple styles. Might be labeled boring sometimes but it can be refreshing after all the Rhianna’s walking naked down the red carpet.
Kudos to Keith for bringing the Real Nicole Doll with him to the CMTs. It takes a special kind of man to admit that he has one of those things lying around his house.

She was one of the most breathtaking beauties (for me), she would look so much better if she had not had anything done to her face. How on earth does anyone in Hollywood convince themselves that endless fillers/bleaching (freckles/skin color/whatever) and Botox are actually ever an improvement?! I’ve recently watched “Portrait of a Lady” and “Eyes Wide Shut” and was reminded of what an incredible natural beauty Nicole was long before she started messing with her face. Sad.
She’s back to her old face. She looks great. Small face, lips nicely defined, not shapeless, blown up, a little more red in her hair. I think she looks great. This award show is more fun, so I didn’t see a problem with her dress. Keith was really dressed down. They had close-ups of her on another site, and her face really looked good. But Keith looks the worst I’ve ever seen, and he usually looks good.
Look, every smart woman would do what she did – considering there are younger women around, she shows off all her assets, including her legs. She works it well, the dress doesn’t look remotely cheap to me. I think she looks great.
