Here are some photos of Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone hard at work this summer on La La Land, their third film together, and the third film in which they play love interests. They’re trying to do the Hepburn & Tracy thing, I guess, or maybe producers just believe that they have a lot of chemistry together, which is true. But according to Star Magazine, Eva Mendes isn’t happy about Ryan and Emma’s close working relationship. Eva has trust issues and she believes Ryan will fool around, so she’s been guarding her man something fierce. But at the end of the day, Star’s sources claim, Eva knows that distrusting her man around Emma Stone isn’t healthy. So she’s considering leaving Ryan. Maybe.
Ryan Gosling has a history of romancing his leading ladies, so much so that Eva Mendes’ jealous streak comes out whenever Ryan signs on to a project. So when it was announced in Paril that Ryan would be reuniting with his “work wife” Emma Stone for the third time in ‘La La Land,’ Eva began to fear the worst.
“It doesn’t matter how many times Ryan tells Eva that he and Emma are just friends, she knows there’s an attraction there,” says a source close the actress. “Eva stops by the set and constantly calls Ryan to see what he’s up to. If she gets his voicemail, she’ll text and text until he gets back to her. Despite Ryan’s best efforts to soothe her suspicions, Eva remains unconvinced.
“The trust just isn’t there, and she thinks it’s time they went their separate ways,” says the pal.
Sources tell Star that Eva has begun to plan an exit strategy.
“Her number one priority is their daughter, Esmeralda. Eva wants to know what her options are, should she decide to end her relationship with Ryan. She’s consulted a lawyer about gaining primary custody of their baby girl, since Ryan’s always working. Eva doesn’t want a custody battle, but she knows Ryan won’t give Esmeralda up without a fight – so she wants to be prepared.”

I don’t believe the part about Eva leaving Ryan. I do believe the part about what Eva does to keep her eye on Ryan. She’s done it before – when he filmed in Thailand and seemed to be craving some distance from Eva, she followed him to Thailand, seemingly just to keep her eye on him. There have been stories about her bitching out Gosling Hey-Girls who get too close to him too. And hey, you never know – Ryan could really get off on Eva’s jealousy. That could totally be their dynamic and why they’ve managed to stick together for FOUR YEARS.

Having a significant other who texted and checked up on me constantly would be the kiss of death for a relationship for me, but I guess there’s people who get off on it.
I have only seen them together in Crazy,Stupid,Love and they had zero chemistry. I think it’s because Ryan is a much better actor than Emma.

That’s so true! I actually find them both great actors but they don’t really work as a couple. I don’t understand why this need to build “on-screen partners” that are just repeated 10 thousand times (hello JLaw and Bradley Cooper!). It’s tiresome and kind of distracts from the unique story of each movie. I think Ryan was really better with Carey Mulligan or Kirsten Dunst has love interest…oh well…he was even better with the doll!!! (Ok ok I know all those movies were better than “Crazy, stupid, love”)
Anyway, I find him and Eva Mendes a great couple. They are both weird and both very good looking IMO, so it’s perfect match! 😉 I also don’t think he’s that kind of cliché…if he moves on, I put my money in someone a bit more mature and more age appropriate.
Emma is probably too young for him. He seems to like women older than him.

And I don’t trust that these two (Eva and Ryan) are still together or that Eva was delivered of that baby. Someone else carried that child is what my TV antennas are telling me.
Only if Ryan was interested I having that baby – which I’ll never believe. My guess? Ryan gradually stopped seeing her, and then Eva stopped with the birth control. Now she’s beginning to understand a baby doesn’t a relationship make. So, she’s trying to make it look like she’s leaving him, because she wants to save face.

Could be true. I found it pretty suspicious that she disappeared for quite a while and when the paps finally caught her she covered her belly, which didn’t look like she was giving birth anytime soon.
I thought Ryan said he was going to stop making movies when he started making babies.

Saw Eva recently on Wendy and wanted to really like her, but she was less than blah! Not interesting, less than smart, hideous style, no sex appeal. And those godforsaken outfits she’s designing look like morman church wear from the 70’s.
They have a baby so I hope they stay together, but I don’t see the connection here.

Yes they have been photographed with their daughter, but you do know that just because you don’t see pictures of them doesn’t mean they don’t go out.

Just today there was this post about Leighton Meester, Adam Brody and their baby girl and about the fact that there are no photos about it…and no photos of their wedding…and very few photos of her pregnancy.
Just because there are no photos on the magazines it doesn’t mean these people and their lives cease to exist. There were never many photos of them as a couple, why should that change?
I think it was already shown that those who want to stay private are able to do so (Angelina Jolie being the example for an ultra famous celebrity)…It’s just because of some irrational dislike of Eva Mendes that in their case this becomes such a big question? Beats me!
It just goes to show how some celebs can keep some amount of privacy if they don’t call the paps on themselves.
I’m never saw the connection between Ryan and Eva
Not really about this story at all but I recently tried the lipstick from Eva’s Circa Beauty line at Walgreens. It is pretty nice. It is overpriced for the drugstore though.
To me it seems that a lot of people dislike Eva simple because they want Ryan to get back together with Rachel McAdams.
I personally think Eva is gorgeous and comes across a bit dull but sweet in interviews. I have never heard anyone say anything bad about her not even her exes.
It really irritates me that just because a man is with a strong and independent woman, people claim the woman trapped the man with a baby. The man just might actually love the woman and had the baby with her because he wants to.m
And if the man is not photographed out and about and seems to support the woman and her career, he is being labelled as someone on a short leash or being whipped.
I really cant stand Eva. Nothing about her is likable or even appealing. She just wreaks of an evil witch…in other thoughts here, where does Andrew Garfield fit in with this picture? I thought he and Emma were the perfectly happy hipster couple, connected at the hip all the time. If Ryan leaves Eva, I dont see him doing it for Emma. Just an odd match.
I think ANYONE would be better than Eva. I personally don’t find Gosling attractive (I still see the kid on the Mickey Mouse Club), but when they got together, I was really surprised. You know how sine couples just make sense and just look right for each other? These two definitely don’t.

I think this story is fanfic, but it’s not like Emma is opposed to snatching up a guy who is already taken. That’s how she started with Andrew.
I know people don’t get the Eva-Ryan relationship but for me it makes more sense than the “chemistry” between Emma and Ryan. I would like Emma to be with someone younger and fresh. Maybe the third bill from The Hunger Games….?

Actors, athletes, and musicians cheat when again from their significant others so I don’t blame Eva for wanting to protect her relationship. After all Andrew Garfield had a girlfriend when he began filming Spiderman then news came out about his great chemistry with Emma Stone, soon after he dropped his longterm girlfriend just like that. Those co-star kisses and sex scenes are not always just about acting. Team Eva.
Right? The way Andrew always talks about how she was like sunshine and how drawn he was to her when they met. Everyone is like “awww” but they forget, he had a gf that he’d been with for 4 years and dropped her like a bad habit for Emma.
You really can’t stereotype tham all like that. Many cheat, but not all.
Eva has nothing to be worried about
Eva Mendes is beautiful but I don’t find anything interesting about her. I don’t get her relationship with Ryan Gosling either. They seem like an odd couple. Maybe they are both odd ducks and just fit well together.
That is a very stressful dynamic to live.
