Apple Martin is gradually becoming a celebrity. She’s already got a brand ambassadorship (Self-Portrait) and she’s already giving magazine interviews. She turns up for some premieres and fashion shows here and there. I have no idea if she plans on becoming a model or an actress, but it does seem like she’s destined to get a lot of attention no matter what. She’s due to graduate from Vanderbilt this year, I believe, so maybe that’s when she’ll make some decisions about her career. Well, one of the rumors about Apple (already) is that she’s gotten tons of lip filler for years. On social media and even in red-carpet photos, Apple’s lips seem… somewhat unnatural at times. Well, Apple did a Vogue video and she talked about what she’s had “done.”
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s daughter Apple Martin has come clean about the cosmetic enhancements she has undergone. The 21-year-old has followed her parents into the public eye and become a model, alongside her studies and sorority girl life at Vanderbilt University. Now she has unveiled the secrets behind her features, in a video explaining her ‘everyday stressed out college student skincare’ routine for Vogue.
‘Time to come clean. I got lip filler one time,’ the showbiz legacy said. ‘I think I got it when I was 18. I just thought that it was too big.’
She observed that ‘everyone seems to think that I have crazy lip filler,’ and insisted that in reality ‘I just pout my lips a lot and I put on a lip of lip liner.’
Elsewhere in the video, Apple demonstrated her ‘lip filler optical illusion’ of putting liner ‘right above my lip. Once you get the natural shape of your lips just go a tiny, tiny bit above it.’
Having gotten into full makeup including a plumping lip gloss, she teased her fans: ‘You can see the lips are already plumping. Not lip filler, thank you.’
I’m not any kind of expert on lip filler, I can only tell when someone’s lips look unnatural on their face. Obviously, there are tons of examples of the poorly-done cosmetic “trout pout,” but that’s not Apple Martin. It feels like she naturally has a wide mouth and full lips, but she got lip filler in the wrong place? I don’t know. It’s hard to explain. But there you go – at least she admits to experimenting with lip filler. It kind of looks like she’s still “experimenting” to me, but what do I know. I’m including the Vogue video below. You can REALLY see both of her parents when she speaks. Some of her expressions are pure Gwyneth, while her eyes are fully Chris Martin.

I think her mom has an interesting way of speaking that makes you kind of want to keep on listening, even when it’s against your better judgment or she’s being conceited or spouting nonsense.

You’ve managed to capture my thoughts on Gwyneth. I watched a few short reels of Amy Poehler’s podcast Good Hang when GP was the guest.
I’ll add that I’ve long found it interesting GP didn’t include lip enhancements among her cosmetic tweaks. It seems very strange that she didn’t feel some pressure to do so, & yet her 18yo daughter did. Maybe Apple expands upon her decision/reasons in the video, but I’m not pressed to watch it.

Another shallow, self absorbed child of famous people. She comes by it naturally given who her mother is.
I think that just how her lips look? I’m not here to hate on nepo babies. My main thing is I don’t want the art world to be only nepo babies or majority nepo babies. We need new fresh people that come in with different perspectives. And right now the balance is low on new and fresh and not attached to a famous name. Those are the people I want to put my energy into.
I saw one other video she did and thought she seemed insufferable, though to be fair so do a lot of “influencers” around her age doing TikTok videos. She’s very pretty but otherwise there’s not much there. Except a fake upper lip.
It looks like the lip filler that I she got at 18 has to deformed her lip anatomy. It’s a myth to say that filler disappears. I think it’s been proven now that even if you stop having filler it stays and can migrate. I think that’s what’s happened here so she may not have got any more filler but has had irreversible Anatomy changes. There are procedures now that can help restore and repair it.
Those lips are injected, sorry to say. They’re doing a bad job, too.
I don’t know why the lie when there are ample photos of her with her real lips, which weren’t even thin to begin with. The first injection must have been terrible and the HA migrated to whatever it is she has now. It would take time to correct. Whenever her mouth is relaxed you can see 2 bumps right next to her cupid’s bow – that’s massive HA migration and bad injecting. They made the “flaw” in her lips even larger.
Rachel, I 100 percent believe you that Apple is a bully. It makes so much sense. It is hard to believe she was expelled from anywhere, given her nepo celebrity status, but I’ll buy that too. Some institutions (too few) have standards they will not bend for the upper echelon.
