Jesse James’ show cancelled & he blasts Discovery for ‘phoney, staged’ shows

Jesse James has made a nice living on reality television. He first shot to fame about ten years ago, thanks to the Discovery channel finding him at his West Coast Choppers customization shop and giving him a gig as host of “Monster Garage,” which ran from 2002-2006. James shut down West Coast Choppers in 2010 because it wasn’t profitable. Prior to that he admitted that he doesn’t make money tricking out bikes, and that “We probably lose money on every motorcycle we build still, and luckily we have other businesses to support the bike shop.” Without the fame and brand recognition that came from reality television he wouldn’t have made his millions selling branded merchandise.

The Discovery Channel made West Coast Choppers a household name, and last year they gave Jesse a spin off show called “Jesse James: Outlaw Garage.” Well it got canceled due to low ratings and James really went off on the Discovery channel. He posted a blog entry trashing them. He’s since deleted it, but Radar has the details:

Jesse James television show has been axed — and the outspoken love rat is putting his former employer, Discovery Channel, on blast.

Calling the television network “dumb motherf*ckers” who produce “fake, phoney, staged, scripted, bullish*t,” the 44-year-old announced the end of Jesse James: Outlaw Garage in a blog post, RadarOnline.com has learned.

“For all those asking about Outlaw Garage, I’m sorry to say that I’m done with Discovery,” James, who married his fourth wife earlier this year, wrote.

“It’s time to take skills and hard work to a network that appreciates what I offer and, more important, a network that doesn’t look at it’s viewers like they are dumb motherf*ckers that want to watch fake, phoney, staged, scripted, bullish*t.”

A spokesperson for Discovery had “no comment” when RadarOnline.com asked about the the future of James’ show.

But a production insider confirmed its demise, saying: “It wasn’t a personality issue — it was a simple business decision — the ratings for Jesse’s show were very poor.”

Not content with his expletive-laden criticism of the network, a furious James has embarked on a campaign of anger toward Discovery and published a Dec. 2005 letter from Billy Campbell, the former president of Discovery Networks.

In the letter, it’s emerged, Discovery nixed James’ planned trip to Iraq to film for his previous show, Monster Garage, two years after the invasion of the country — and the same year he married Sandra Bullock. The pair split in 2010, when several women claimed to have had affairs with him during the marriage.

“I have been pretty bummed about things ending with Discovery Channel then I re-read this letter the other night,” James told fans, publishing the private communiqué to his Tumblr blog.

In the correspondence, Campbell wrote: “As you are aware, after much deliberation, Discovery Channel decided not to proceed with a build in Iraq because it remains an unstable and dangerous region of the world.

“In addition, I believe that the location is a bad production choice for our brands because of the light-hearted nature of the Monster Garage program and the disturbing events taking place in Iraq.”

The network warned James: “If you decided to travel to Iraq, it’s important that you understand that you do so at your own risk and that DCI is not responsible for your own safety.”

“Figured people should see the real truth,” James said. “FYI, I went (to Irag) anyway. On my own dime.”

But as it turns out, the Discovery-James relationship was tested for years, as Campbell revealed in the letter.

“From time to time, we have had disagreements and I’m very pleased that we have always been able to resolve them amicably,” the television boss wrote.

There’s no word on whether James will attempt to resurrect his program on another network.

[From Radar Online]

Let me get this straight – Jesse is mad because his show got cancelled. So to prove what a badass he is, he published a letter in which one of the producers on his last show, which made him a household name, told him it wasn’t a good idea to film in a country we were at war with at the time. Jesse thinks it’s something to brag about that they told him “no, it’s a bad idea to go to Iraq” and he went anyway. In Jesse’s mind, he still should have won that argument and been allowed to go to Iraq. His stupidity, stubbornness and refusal to listen to reason is something to brag about.

I get that he’s pissed that his show got cancelled, and maybe he had creative differences with producers about staging scenes. That’s not something you air in public! Have some respect for a company that made you a damn millionaire. Discovery made this guy’s career and all he can do is complain and trash them. Talk about having some childish issues with authority.

Oh and FYI Jesse is still with his wife of just over a month, drag racer Alexis DeJoria. He wrote that she was the best thing to ever happen to him, which some outlets interpreted as a dig to Sandra. He said basically the same thing about Kat Von D and look how that turned out.

Jesse James married drag racer Alexis DeJoria in Malibu over the weekend

The People Magazine headline was “Jesse James Marries Drag Racer Alexis DeJoria” but my eye completely missed the “racer” part, and I thought, “Oh, thank God, Jesse James finally married a drag queen.” In truth, I doubt the drag queens want any part of the mess that is Jesse James. Anyway, as CB has previously reported, Jesse got engaged to drag racer Alexis DeJoria last November after only a few months of dating. It actually shocks me a little bit that they waited this long to actually get hitched, but there you go:

It’s full-speed ahead for Jesse James and Alexis DeJoria, who tied the knot on Sunday in Malibu, PEOPLE has learned.

With James’s youngest daughter, Sunny, 9, and DeJoria’s daughter Bella, 10, acting as flower girls, the custom motorcycle-builder, 43, exchanged vows with DeJoria, a pro-drag racer and daughter to entrepreneur John Paul DeJoria.

The couple, who got engaged late last year, married at the Malibu home of DeJoria’s father, co-founder of the Paul Mitchell hair care products line and Patron Spirits Company. They exchanged rings designed by jeweler designer Neil Lane.

James recently relaunched WestCoastChoppers.com, opening a WCC custom motorcycle shop in Austin, Texas, where he lives with DeJoria, who drives Patron Nitro Funny car on the drag race circuit.

This is a fourth marriage for James, who got divorced from Sandra Bullock in June, 2010. In September, 2011, James broke off his engagement to Kat Von D.

[From People]

He’s 43 years old and this is his fourth marriage? No judgment, I guess, although I do wonder if Jesse might benefit from some talk therapy. Jesse seems to have a type – pale brunettes with tattoos. Hopefully, this marriage will stick although… I doubt it. Is that rude? Eh. His track record sucks and I’m glad Sandra Bullock isn’t dealing with his crap anymore.

Jesse James will marry his fourth wife later this month: great idea?

As we heard back in November, serial cheater and professional victim Jesse James is engaged for the fifth time for what will be his fourth marriage. (If he goes through with it.) Jame’s future bride is a “35″ year-old drag racer named Alexis Dejoria, who is the daughter of billionaire Paul Mitchell haircare founder, John Paul Dejoria. According to Star Magazine, Jesse and Alexis are planning to marry by the end of March, and they’re serious about it. I checked their social media accounts (and they have a lot of them) and I’m believing it. They tweet photos and messages to each other all the time, and their children are hanging out together. Jesse’s daughter Sunny looks like she’s friends with Alexis’ daughter.

Baby boy biker Jesse James is set to marry his latest fiancee, Alexis DeJoria, at the end of March, Star magazine is exclusively reporting.

The cheating ex-hubby of Sandra Bullock, who has been dating the race car driver for around six months, will say “I do” in a private ceremony in Malibu, according to Star.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jesse, 43, and Alexis, 35, began dating around September last year.

Alexis is the daughter of billionaire John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of the Paul Mitchell line of hair-care products, the Patron Spirits Company and the House of Blues nightclub chain.

His other financial interests include dealerships for speedboats and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

“Jesse’s always had a man crush on John Paul,” an insider tells Star. “And what better way to get close to him than to get hitched to his daughter?

“But this marriage will be his fourth. If I were John Paul – after what Jesse put Sandra through – I’d be warning him up front that when it comes to Alexis, he’d better watch his butt!”

[From Radar Online]

I was ready to hate all over this story until I saw the photo of their adorable girls together. Yes Jesse cheats on everyone, even his girlfriends, and yes he has no sense of personal responsibility and any woman who gets with him should realize what she’s getting into. But for his youngest daughter’s sake I hope he’s changed. Sunny didn’t ask to have a porn star drug addict mom and a sex addict dad with a whiny baby voice. She’s just a little kid (and my son is around that age so I feel for her) who is getting some stability and a sense of family from her dad’s latest relationship, which has lasted all of six months. Why shouldn’t he make it official and try to make this feeling of domestic bliss last? It’s not like he wrote a book about how marriage made him feel so trapped that he decided to cheat as a way out. Here’s an excerpt from his book, American Outlaw:

You’re trapped, I thought suddenly. It came out of nowhere, but you’re trapped pretty good, aren’t you?

Before I met Sandy, I’d romanticized the stable, calm married life: the idea of me finally growing up. But now I missed… talking shit, cracking jokes with my no-good friends. Too many people knew me now. I couldn’t escape…

Mentally at a loss, desperate for something to make me feel like I had some sense of freedom, I ran through the list of things I could do to assert independence over my life. Infidelity, unfortunately, was at the top of my list.

[via Celebitchy]

But this one is different, right? She lets him be himself. Look she shoots guns with him on Valentine’s Day! How romantic. Kat Von D was such a buzzkill.

Further evidence that these two are either planning to wed or already have: this bizarre cake that Alexis tweeted.

Jesse James engaged for 5th time after 2 months of dating: what could go wrong?

Jesse James has been married and divorced three times. He’s been exposed as a serial cheater on both his famous Oscar-winning ex wife, and his less famous, tattoo-artist fiance, but he’s not giving up on true love! James is engaged to his latest girlfriend, a drag racer named Alexis Dejoria who also happens to be the daughter of Paul Mitchell haircare founder John Paul DeJoria, meaning she’s rich, bitch! The first mention I can find of these two together is in a late October article in Radar saying they’ve been together a month at that point. That means they’ve been dating about two months and are already engaged.

Hollyscoop broke this story about a week ago, but this is the first I’m reading it. I find it mildly interesting and thought you might too:

Following his high profile breakups with the likes of Sandra Bullock and Kat Von D, Jesse James has set his sights on a lesser-known vixen: drag racer Alexis DeJoria. And it turns out the couple has wedding bells in their near future.

Hollyscoop has learned exclusively that James and DeJoria are engaged. Insiders from the drag racing circuit confirm the news.

This will be Jesse’s fourth marriage, and fifth engagement, and, no…we are not making up those numbers.

Along with Bullock, women that Jesse has been tied to via wedlock include both Karla James and adult actress Janine Lindemulder. Also, the West Coast Choppers CEO has three children between the latter two women.

If you’re not familiar with the name “Alexis DeJoria,” it’s probably because you’re spending more time watching E! news, rather than Spike TV. But, other than racing very fast cars, Alexis is also the daughter of John Paul DeJoria, aka the co-founder of hair care giant Paul Mitchell.

[From Hollyscoop]

Well maybe he just gave her a promise ring but it’s not official or something. I checked both of their Twitter accounts, and they have been tweeting each other and tweeting photos of themselves together. They didn’t deny an engagement, and James tweeted the photo above less than a day ago. You can’t see Alexis’ ring finger, but in a photo he tweeted two weeks ago she’s wearing what looks like an engagement ring so this is probably true. Also, Jesse has a Tumblr account. It’s called But Pee. I’m not kidding. (I have to say that he has the cutest pit bulls. I love that breed so much. It humanizes James a little for me, but not much.)

I guess there’s an unlimited supply of women who refuse to believe anything negative about the douche they’re dating. Will Alexis ever wise up? She retweeting stuff likeBelieve none of what you HEAR, and believe only half of what you see because Looks are deceiving. THAT IS OPEN MINDED.” No, that’s naive and delusional when you’re dealing with someone with such a well documented history of screwing women over, and who admits and justifies their bad behavior repeatedly. Good luck!

Jesse James fired from Sons of Anarchy guest spot for his Nazi past

It’s good to know that not Jesse James is as unwelcome in the biking community (allegedly) as he is in Hollywood, and this story is a unique crossover of both. Apparently James was set to guest star on critically acclaimed FX series “Sons of Anarchy.” That is until star Ron Perlman reminded everyone of James’ Nazi photo and alleged Nazi past and shut that down quick. I find this amusing on many levels and wanted to share:

A wide-ranging Enquirer probe also discovered allegations that Jesse, 43, was a raging racist who owned Nazi memorabilia and was quick to hurl vile ethnic slurs. He was even photographed posing in Nazi regalia, impersonating Adolf Hitler.

That past hit a sour note with “Sons of Anarchy” star Ron Perlman when the actor, who’s Jewish, learned Jesse had been signed for a guest role on the FX series about a biker gang.

Perlman, 62, told co-star Katey Sagal and her husband, series creator Kurt Sutter, that he’d quit if Jesse stepped on the set.

“Ron is a professional, drama-free, no-nonsense actor, but when he heard that Jesse had been cast, he went through the roof,” a source close to the production told The Enquirer.

“Right in front of the cast and crew, he went to Katey and Kurt and said that Jesse had a Nazi stigma attached to him and that he’d walk if Jesse was given a part on the show.

“You could hear a pin drop. No one said a word until Kurt finally spoke up and told Ron he’d take care of the situation…”

Jesse was paid for the part he was contracted for, and producers told him they were taking his character in a different direction, said the source.

“A lot of real-life bikers work on the series and most of them can’t stand Jesse,” added the source.

“It was funny to see these tough guys coming up to thank Ron for what he did.”

[From The National Enquirer, print edition, September 17, 2012]

I read James’ American Outlaw memoir (don’t judge, I only skimmed it for this job) and he explained that Nazi photo by claiming he did it in a moment of stupidity. Jesse wrote that the cap was a gift from Barry Weiss (of “Storage Wars”) and that he was just joking around when he did the Sieg Heil salute. Only before that photo came out, we heard that Jesse owned other Nazi memorabilia and that there was swastika imagery right in his office. He had a lot of handy excuses for his infidelity, too, and claimed that it didn’t matter if he cheated “ten thousand times or just once.” So maybe he’s using that same logic for his raging anti-semitism. I’m just glad that he’s still facing consequences and that people are calling him on it so openly.

This reminds me that one of my favorite comic actors, Joel McHale, is guesting on “Sons of Anarchy” and that I should make an effort to catch that episode. (It airs on September 18, and series five premieres on September 11.) I’m not caught up with the show, and only watched about half of the third season, in 2010. I’ve heard that it’s excellent though, and this story makes me want to give it another chance and start watching from the beginning. (Netflix has the first three seasons on demand.)

Here are some mancandy photos of Charlie Hunnam, just because.

Jesse James: ‘I don’t know anybody that’s had to endure what I had to for infidelity’

Poor persecuted Jesse James. We know too well how he cheated on Sandra Bullock. He of course cheated on her replacement, Kat Von D, and bragged about their sex life prior to that, claiming that Kat was “100 percent” better in bed than Sandra. He wrote a book painting himself as a hero and downplaying the extent of his infidelity. He wrote that it “doesn’t really matter whether I [cheated] ten thousand times or just once. Once you’ve lied, there’s no taking it back. There’s no way to erase the deceit that you’ve created.” That’s one way to justify repeatedly lying to someone you love. By Jesse’s logic if you rob a bank one day you might as well rob one every day since you’re already a criminal and there’s no going back.

In an interview last summer, Jesse claimed that he “owned” his infidelity, despite the fact that he never disclosed a single detail in his book, nor did he admit the extent of his cheating at all, not even to Sandra (from what he wrote, he only owned up to one affair.) He said “I’m sorry for it and I owned up to it. I didn’t lie about it, I didn’t try to do any kind of B.S. like you know, PR campaign or whatever. I owned it like a man. I took all the abuse for it, which nobody does.”

Now Jesse is making the same claim nearly a year later. He says that he’s “paid the price and then some,” and goes on as if he’s been strung up worse than anyone before or since. I guess he didn’t pay attention to the Tiger Woods scandal at all.

“I think I’ve paid the price and then some, you know? I don’t know anybody anywhere that’s had to endure what I had to endure for basically infidelity,” the 42-year-old exclusively tells omg! from Yahoo!. “It’s just the nature of my life. People always will want me sainted one minute, and strung up the next.”

“I stood up like a man and admitted my wrongs and what I did and all that did is make every s*** tabloid everywhere across the world come after me even harder,” he recalls now. “I’m strong. I can take it. Everybody can take cheap shots and say I’m a horrible dad, and that I’m a Nazi, and all this other bulls***. Give me all you got. Because you know what? I know inside what kind of a person I am. I know I’m an awesome dad. I’m devoted to my work. And I work hard to take care of my family.”

Even before the Bullock fallout, James says he was used to others’ pre-conceived (and usually wrong) notions about him. He’s been accused of being lots of things he’s not, he insists, like being homophobic, an allegation that especially stings. “My older brother was gay, and looked just like me, and happened to die of HIV five years ago. Nobody ever cared to ask about that,” explains James. “I think people just judge me by the way I look. That predates fame or any of that stuff. People have always been scared of me and always think I’m a bigot or a racist or a homophobe just by the way I look. I’m 6’3″, and 215 pounds, [and a ] tattooed-up white boy. It fits a criminal or whatever. They don’t realize.”

“I think people will probably think since I’m doing well now and since I’m happy that I don’t have any sorrow or regret for what I did, which couldn’t be further from the truth. There’ll never be a day that goes by for the rest of my life that I don’t regret it,” James admits. “If I could go back and change the way I did things, and not hurt people, and not do things the way I did, of course I would do it that way. I would never consciously bring pain to anyone, especially the people I love. It is something that I have to live with.”

[From OMG.Yahoo.com via Radar]

That was nice what Jesse said at the end, but given the way he reacted to the scandal – by dismissing his five year marriage to Bullock and practically blaming her for his infidelity, his words ring hollow to me. It’s all about how hurt he is for having to deal with the fallout from what he did.

In terms of Jesse being sad because we don’t care about his poor brother, I read/skimmed Jesse’s book, American Outlaw, and I don’t remember him mentioning a brother at all. I just opened it again in iBooks and searched for the word “brother.” From what I can find, James doesn’t mention his brother at all, except for a stepbrother whom he accused of stealing from him as a teen. The word “AIDS” and “gay” only appear in contexts that have nothing to do with his brother, and the word “HIV” doesn’t appear at all. So maybe no one asks James about his brother who died of HIV/AIDS because he didn’t even bother to mention it in his over 800 page book. GMAFB.

James has a new reality show he’s promoting, “Jesse James: Outlaw Garage,” which airs tonight at 10 on The Discovery channel.

Jesse James lets his 8 yo daughter tattoo her name on him: sweet or inappropriate?

This is a rare maybe-positive story about Jesse James for once, depending on how you feel about tattooing and letting an eight year-old get close to someone wielding a tattoo needle. Jesse James added a new piece of ink to his body recently. Outlets are claiming that James let his eight year-old daughter, Sunny, tattoo her name on his wrist. The photo makes it look like all Sunny is doing is overseeing the work with a professional tattoo artist, not like she’s personally laying down the ink on her daddy’s wrist. We know about it as Jesse posted the photos to Twitter, including one of Sunny overseeing the ink as well as the final result. Sunny has great penmanship! Here’s the story, from Radar:

Jesse James is covered in tattoos but his eight-year-old daughter Sunny just added another, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

Jesse, 42, won full custody of Sunny in 2009 from ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, who spent time in federal prison for tax evasion, and the two took to some unlikely bonding on Thursday.

“Spending Spring Break with Dad,” Jesse wrote on Twitter, posting a photo of Sunny with an ink gun in her hand.

The finished product is “Sunny” scribbled on Jesse’s wrist — right above the “Pay Up Sucker” tattoo on his palm.

[From Radar]

I have a kid around that age, and I actually found this story somewhat sweet. I’m not a tattoo person, although I have a couple from when I was very young, but I could see getting my kids’ name permanently inked somewhere. I can’t imagine letting him get that close to the process, though. Tattooing is painful and that’s a lot of pressure to put on a little kid. Still, this was her dad’s way of showing Sunny that he cared. Maybe he should have just taken her out to the zoo and for ice cream. She probably would have liked that better.

Oh and people are saying this is a too-revealing shot of an eight year-old. I don’t agree, and I doubt that James even noticed. That’s his little daughter, you know? He’s a philandering a*hole, but he probably loves his kids to pieces and tries to do right by them, as clumsy as his attempts may be.

Jesse wrested custody of Sunny away from her mother, porn star Janine Lindemulder, who has a history of abusing drugs and was jailed for non-payment of taxes in 2008.

Star: Sandra Bullock’s $20 million defamation lawsuit against Jesse James

Star Magazine has an inset story on their cover this week all about Sandra Bullock’s $20 million defamation lawsuit against her scumbag ex, Jesse James, for talking smack about her publicly. However, the story just says that Sandra could file a suit against Jesse if she were so inclined and that she could make it for around $20 million, according to some expert Star found. They only go so far as to quote a vague “source” who claims Sandra is considering it. My favorite part of this story is where Star speculates that Sandra won’t sue Jesse, also as they’ve speculated, because Jesse could potentially have some awesome dirt on her that he would bring out during a lawsuit. Isn’t this what we’ve heard all along? Like how can Sandy, “America’s Sweetheart,” have married a douchey neo-Nazi and still have kept her pristine public image? However, I think that Jesse was so butt hurt by getting rejected after cheating on Sandra that he would have already spilled Sandra’s secrets if he had any. Here’s more of Star’s story:

One month after shocking accounts of her husband’s wild cheating drove Sandra Bullock to file for divorce in April 2010, an emotional and repentant Jesse James appeared on Nightline and claimed, “I still have hopes of saving some sort of relationship with Sandy.”

Now it seems those sentiments were hollow, because the words Jesse has used over the last year to publicly describe his life with Sandra have been dipped in venom.

And his latest thinly veiled broad-side against her — when he sneeringly referred to how he had “married some Hollywood actress… I’m not what I became,” during a recent appearance on the reality series American Chopper: The Build-Off — could end up hurting him where it hurts the most: in his wallet!

An insider tells Star magazine that while Sandra, 47, “has consistently taken the high road by never talking about Jesse since their split, I don’t expect her to play the shrinking violet forever if his jabs have secretly been causing her emotional distress.”

And she has a powerful weapon at her disposal to strike back. Sources tell Star she could hit Jesse, 42, with a defamation suit, with one legal expert telling Star that “asking for $20 million in damages would not be out of the realm of possibility…”

Sandra “has every right to initiate a defamation lawsuit against her ex husband if she believes that any of the public statements he’s made about her have been defamatory,” noted NYC defamation lawyer Richard Ancowitz tells Star…

“I imagine that even the prospect of legal action would lead his lawyer to counsel Mr. James to keep his thoughts about Ms. Bullock to himself…”

“If Jesse keeps revealing personal information about Sandra, she could also stop him by suing for invasion of privacy,” Aaron Morris, a defamation attorney… tells Star…

Though Sandra’s rep denies that she is considering legal action, the legal source adds that she could also “go after Jesse for breach of contract if they had signed confidentiality agreements as part of their divorce.”

There is a possible consequence that could keep Sandra from taking action, the legal source tells Star. “It could open the door the defendant to disclose more embarrassing personal information as a defense against the claims. That information would then become public in the court record.”

[From Star Magazine, print edition, December 26, 2011 and via OK!]

This “lawsuit” is as much a figment of Star’s imagination as Jennifer Aniston’s pregnancy with twins, but it’s still fun to speculate about. You know that Sandra is just actively ignoring this guy and he keeps throwing jabs at her hoping to get some kind of response. She’s not going to say a thing about him and that hurts his widdle ego more than anything.

Sandra has been doing the press rounds for Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, in which she plays the widow of a 9-11 victim. She’s only in the film for about 20 minutes, and the lead is the young boy who plays her son, Thomas Horn. She has a new interview on The Today Show in which she talks about her personal experience with the September 11 attacks (sad) and about hearing the last messages that victims left their families (double sad). Families shared the messages from their loved ones to help with research for the film, and Sandra called those “an incredible gift.” She does have a fun rapport with Matt Lauer and gives him crap throughout the interview, but it’s not enough to lighten the mood. Watching the press for this film just gives me the impression that it’s not going to do well at the box office given the subject matter. It may get some nods at awards time, though, especially for Horn.

These photos are from the 12-15 premiere of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and also feature Thomas Horn and Tom Hanks. Credit: WENN.com

Jesse James returns to TV: “I became a big shot & married some Hollywood actress”

Jesse James and his little pissy voice are on a show called “American Chopper: The Build Off” which aired on the Discovery Channel last night. (You can see the bikes they built here. Jesse’s is the red one, and you can vote on the winner on Discovery’s site. The winner will be announced tonight at 9pm.) Radar notes some passive aggressive comments James makes in the episode about his much publicized implosion of a marriage to Sandra Bullock. The stuff James says is mild compared to the way he’s previously trashed her and completely dismissed his life with her. He sounds just about the same here, and I would expect nothing less from him. He said “I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn’t talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad.” He feels bad for not talking to people he used to hang out with, not for being a cheating bastard, because he handled that expertly, according to Jesse. Also, his wife of five years is just “some Hollywood actress” he married. No biggie.

In the clip posted on Radar (above) James is shown making a “middle finger” motorcycle, because he’s just that mature. I googled “middle finger motorcycle” to see if this was just a nickname for a type of bike rather than a deliberate attempt by James to create a new bike that he’s named after giving the bird. The results suggest that James made up the concept of the middle finger motorcycle. Of course he did, and of course his bike is better than the competition. Here’s more:

In this sneak peek of American Chopper: The Build-Off obtained by RadarOnline.com, James goes head to head with Paul Teutul and Paul Teutul Jr to build a new bike, and he has a lot to say.

“I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn’t talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad,” James says at the beginning of the episode.

His reference to America’s Sweetheart Sandra Bullock as “some Hollywood actress” is sure to rile fans of The Blind Side star, and not exactly endear James to viewers.

James creates a stainless-steel “middle-finger” bike which is apparently the first motorcycle he’s personally built in five years and he explains his reason for returning to TV.

“I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show ‘em that I’m still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I’m not what I became.”

It’s not clear if James is blaming Bullock for “what he became,” but their marriage imploded over revelations he’d had numerous affairs.

But Bullock isn’t Jesse’s only target during the episode. “I don’t know what the Teutuls do for a gas tank, I think he (Paul Teutul Senior) just yells at someone to get it done and it didn’t matter how it got done.”

He slams the bikes that they build compared to his. “I can’t see that stuff lasting, I think it will work if the bike is static and gets started up for TV. My stuff is meant to withstand punishment.

“It’s got to look good, be stylish, be flawless and beautiful and chrome and on top of everything else it’s got to function.”

[From Radar]

This is what this guy does best – make motorcycles and cars and trash talk the competition. I still fail to see how he pulled so many women with that little baby voice of his, but I’m not attracted to guys like this. For women who are, they should know what they’re getting with James (and really it’s public knowledge by now) or they’ll obviously regret it.

Jesse James wants his $50k engagement ring back, but Kat Von D isn’t about to return it

When this couple inevitably imploded after multiple breakups and over-the-top declarations of love we pointed and laughed. When Kat Von D claimed to have met the “19th” woman Jesse cheated on her with during their year together, we pointed and laughed. And now we have yet another occasion to mock them, so we’re taking it. Jesse gave Kat a Neil Lane diamond engagement ring worth $50,000 during their brief bout of dirty happiness together. Only now that Jesse cheated on Kat and treated her like crap (and Kat probably reciprocated), she isn’t about to be left with just a tattoo of the douche. She’s insisting on keeping the ring but he of course wants it back. I would love if if he tried to sue her for it.

Jesse James is furious with Kat Von D over her recent public claims that he cheated on her with 19 women during their relationship. But behind the scenes, an insider tells Star, he and his ex-fiancee have already declared war over the $50,000, four-carat platinum and diamond Neil Lane engagement ring he bought her last January. “Now that he and Kat are totally broken up, Jesse wants the ring back,” says the insider. “The money he paid for it obviously isn’t going to make or break him, but Jesse’s always been a tightwad.” But Kat is clawing back! “She won’t return the ring to Jesse, and she’s not budging. She says she deserves it for putting up with him!”

[From Star Magazine, print edition, December 12, 2011]

Jesse James may seem like he’s rolling in it, but I’ve always had the impression that he’s overextended. He had to close West Coast Choppers in October of last year after 18 years and he other businesses that might not be in the black, like the the new Austin Speed Shop and Cisco Burger. I doubt he’s making money from Austin Speed Shop yet and he probably had to pour a ton into it to get the business started. Plus he admitted years ago that he loses money building custom bikes and cars. So I would bet he relies on the income from his branded merchandise, which probably took a huge hit following the scandal, and whatever he got for his piss poor excuse for a book. I’m not saying he’s broke, just that he’s probably not as rich as we think. The $50k for that ring means something to him and Kat is all “nope.” Serves him right. He just paid $50k for sex for a few months that was “100 percent” better than he had with Sandra. And he still got plenty on the side.
