Imagine Kylie’s surprise when she came home one day and found uber-hottie boyfriend Olivier Martinez dousing himself in her signature women’s fragrance ‘Darling.” Luckily for Kylie the thing with hot French boyfriends is that even scenes like these — that have that slight air of tranvestism around them – just end up being hot and metrosexual. If you caught Hugh Grant in ladies perfume — you’d end up having to indulge some British kink fest with Bowler Hats and garters – maybe spanking. If it was Tom Cruise — you’d end up at a PFLAG meeting and eventually on ELLEN.

Not one to ever let even a thin bat squeak of sex go by undercapitalized –clever Kylie had a brainstorm and is now planning to follow up her super successful “Darling” with a men’s scent.

Kylie Minogue is reportedly planning to launch a men’s fragrance.

The pop superstar apparently came up with the idea when her partner, French actor Olivier Martinez, kept spraying himself with her best-selling women’s fragrance ‘Darling’.

‘Darling’ hit the stores last November and outsold many perfumes released by other stars, including Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.

The phenomenal sales were boosted by the increasing popularity of celebrity scents, a factor which may make Kylie’s new men’s line a success.

Tim Hughes, a spokesperson for British health and beauty retailer Superdrug, said recently: “Five years ago fragrances were all about designer names and the big beauty houses such as Chanel. The only celebrity fragrances were quite marginal and rather naff. J.Lo changed all that with the launch of her first fragrance.”

So in this post-naff world of celebrity stank you can smell like Kylie’s man trying to smell like Kylie. Ahhhhh The Minogue of it.

Kylie Minogue’s unrelenting tour schedule seems to have taken a toll on the Australian singer. Minogue is in remission from breast cancer and people fear for her health after she cut a concert short and cancelled two others scheduled for tonight and tomorrow. Doctors say she has a respiratory infection and ordered her to rest.

Minogue, recovering from a battle with breast cancer, also cut short Saturday night’s gig after only 45 minutes.

Doctors diagnosed a chest infection — several of her crew are believed to have flu — and urged her to rest to be able to sing on Thursday and Friday.

Minogue’s British Showgirl Homecoming Tour followed a successful, but hectic, comeback tour of Australia.

A fan at Saturday’s concert said it was upsetting to see her suffering so obviously on stage.

“She tried to reassure us, but so many people were crying,” said office worker Alice Kennett, 27.

The singer told Saturday night’s disappointed audience she was unwell as soon as she appeared on stage.

She struggled through about nine songs before calling it quits.

“I must apologise because I can’t sing all the words tonight. I’ve got a cold and I’m struggling a bit. Do you mind if I just stand here and pose all night?” she said.

She was joined on stage by sister Dannii before abandoning the show.

The show was her 29th out of a 33th show tour of England and Australia.

We ran a questionable gossip item last week that Minogue is smoking a lot of pot. Whether or not that’s true, she seems to have pushed herself too hard in her incredible comeback tour. Best wishes to Kylie for a quick recovery and hopefully she’ll get the rest she needs.

Kylie Minogue’s wax likeness is the first perfumed one at Madame Tussauds, and waifts the scent of her fragrance, Darling. Kylie is finishing off her sold out Showgirl Homecoming tour in London, and will now do six concerts in Manchester, England.

If you’re a Kylie fan in London you might want to check out the Victoria and Albert Museum, which will have an exhibition of her tour costumes and memorabilia from February 8 to June 10.

Singer Kylie Minogue, who was named most inspirational celebrity of 2006 in a poll of British teenage girls, is currently playing in London and receiving rate reviews. She has seven shows scheduled in the British capital this year in a sold out tour that’s full of gorgeous costumes and scantily clad men.

Holy Moley, a British gossip newsletter that seems to make up a lot of shit wholesale, attributes Kylie’s wide-assed grin to medicinal marijuana, but I’m not so sure:

Smiley Kylie is back on top form and it appears she can’t wipe that grin off her bony chops. The reason? In remission, in love, in concert and consuming such large amounts of pot that she’d give Bob Marley a white-out if they went head to head in a competition.

The reason I’m not completely buying this claim that Kylie is smoking a lot of pot is because London’s Evening Standard just ran a story called “Kylie the Smiley Showgirl Returns” about her triumphant comeback tour after beating breast cancer. It’s not that much of a stretch to attribute her smiling to pot use. Holy Moley makes up a lot of gossip to get links, and I’m playing into it by even running this story, but I doubt it’s true.

Medical marijuana is legal in the most populated state in Kylie’s native Australia, New South Wales. Marijuana is said to help with the naseau of chemotherapy. Kylie completed her chemotherapy regimen in late 2005.

Kylie received a standing ovation before she even started performing on New Year’s Eve, bringing the singer to tears. She’s smiling a lot because she’s performing. With such a great reception, who can blame her?

Australian singer Kylie Minogue will be playing a series of comeback concerts in her hometown of Melbourne. Minogue has headed back to the studio and plans to play live after having battled breast cancer last year:

Pauly Shore and Kylie Minogue dated for a short time after they met on the set of his 1997 movie, Biodome, which Minogue has called her “worst career move.” The two didn’t last once Minogue figured out who Shore was and went back to England, and Shore is still crying into his beer over it:

Even though it still breaks his heart, Pauly should be commended for being able to talk about it nine years later, just like Angelina Jolie’s ex, Jenny Shimizu.

Minogue is doing well as she recovers from breast cancer. She has written a comeback album called “Lessons” that should be out in 2007. She also plans to sing a duet with her boyfriend Olivier Martinez.

Shore had somewhat of a comeback with the indie flick “Pauly Shore is Dead” that came out in 2004, and a 2005 TBS reality show, Minding the Store that centered around Shore trying to run his family’s comedy club.
