Lindsay Lohan left rehab for the second time in under a week and was spotted at a bookstore and movie theater with two other women. The last time Lindsay was let out she went shopping a dropped a couple of hundred bucks at a Forever 21 store. She was also said to be seen regularly at a local Starbucks despite the fact that caffeine is banned at her facility, the Betty Ford Center. This if course begs the question of whether Lindsay is being given special privileges in rehab, where she’s been ordered to stay until January in lieu of jail. Lindsay is likely aware that it looks bad that she’s skirting around regulations. TMZ reports that she left the theater early once she was noticed. So how many other times has she ventured out of rehab and not been spotted?
Meanwhile, Lindsay’s dad is said to have reunited with her at rehab for the first time in months. The last time we heard from Michael Lohan he was holding a press conference to announce that he would no longer be talking to the press. He did of course, though, and granted an exclusive to Radar Online in which he gave details off the record of his reunion with Lindsay. Lindsay and Michael hugged and cried and talked for a few hours, after which they went shopping at a local mall. This was on Saturday, the same day that Lindsay was spotted out at the mall and the movies. So she could have started out shopping with her dad that day and capped it off with more shopping and a trip to the movies.
Lindsay Lohan has reunited with her estranged father Michael at the Californian rehabilitation clinic where she is receiving treatment for drug addiction, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
“It was an emotional reunion… there were hugs, kisses and even a few tears when Michael and Lindsay first saw each other,” a source with knowledge of the meeting revealed to RadarOnline.com.
It is a stunning and dramatic turnaround for the 24-year-old Hollywood wild child, who has perpetually blamed her one-time drug addict dad for her problems.
The pair met soon after 1pm on Sunday at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California, we’re told.
“Lindsay met Michael at Betty Ford and the pair spent hours together… it was not a fleeting encounter, this appeared well-planned in advance,” the source said.
“They also went shopping at a local Palm Desert mall, where they were seen walking around together and at one point, were in a jewelry store.”
When RadarOnline.com contacted the Lohan patriarch for comment about the encounter, the 50-year-old dad-of-four remained tight-lipped: “I have pledged not to comment about anything relating to my daughter.
“However, what I will say is that I am an incredibly proud father tonight. My daughter is progressing extraordinarily well.”
A source close to the actress told RadarOnline.com that her father’s visit was at her invitation, while her mom, Dina, was back in New York preparing to appear on NBC’s Today Show.
“Michael turned up at Betty Ford with some gifts and items for Lindsay,” said the source.
Michael also told Radar that he is willing to go to therapy with Lindsay, after which I’m sure he’ll leak details to whichever outlet will pay the most for his daughter’s personal information.
Lindsay’s mom Dina is going to be on The Today Show this morning. I can’t wait to see how botoxed and in denial she comes across this time.
Michael Lohan was bitching just a couple days ago that his ex wife, enabling mom-in-denial, Dina, planned to file for a conservatorship for their daughter Lindsay. According to Michael, Dina and Lindsay’s business manager, Lou Taylor, were hatching a plot to control Lidnsay’s personal life, money and business dealings. Rather than wait for Dina to wrestle control over her daughter’s affairs, Michael is filing for his own conservatorship of Lindsay. He tells E! and Radar that he’s retained a lawyer and plans to file for a conservatorship run by two independent third parties “who don’t have an interest in Lindsays money, but rather her as a person and human being.” When has Michael shown that he has an interest in Lindsay as a human being? Was it when he sold tapes of her sobbing and begging for help?
As Kaiser mentioned on this earlier, it’s not a bad idea for someone to establish a conservatorship over Lindsay. The issue is that neither Michael nor Dina have her best interests at heart. Both are terrible parents, and both have ulterior motives. Even if Michael had a conservatorship established and gets it run by other people, he would try to influence those people and squeeze money out of his daughter. He’s earning money every time he runs to the press with news about her, and he’s been making a living by selling incriminating photos and tapes of the people he once claimed to love.
Lindsay’s younger brother, Michael Lohan Jr., 22, issued a statement to People about his sister and he blamed everyone around her for enabling her, just like his father did. He said:
“People she was surrounded by – enablers, leeches, whatever you’d like to call it – made things very difficult,” he says. “It’s quite strenuous to right your wrongs when the people around you help justify your actions. Therefore, cloudy judgment made it easy for her to neglect those trying to guide her.”
“People with addictive tendencies do not get better overnight, so that cannot be expected. However, her commitment to her current recovery is a side effect of the realization of her past mishaps.”
Lindsay, who failed a drug test earlier this month and spent 14 hours in jail before posting bail, is “well-aware that she’s at a crossroad in life, and is fully committed to ensuring a healthier future,” says her brother.
“She has made conscious efforts to improve her lifestyle behaviors and to treat this process with great care. In order to continue her healing process, she’s willing to take whatever steps necessary,” Michael adds. “We – her mother, brothers, and sister – have been there for Lindsay every step of the way – despite what trashy news reports – and will continue to give her our support and strength during these arduous times.”
Last spring, Michael Lohan graduated from Ithaca College, where he studied business administration and played lacrosse. He remains close to sisters Lindsay and Ali, 16, and younger brother, Cody, 14.
At least one of the Lohan family members has some sense, although I suspect that statement was carefully crafted by Lindsay’s PR people. It’s interesting that Lindsay’s brother is careful to specify that it’s her mother, brothers and sister who have been there for her, while leaving out their ex con dad. Michael Lohan Sr. said something very similar about his daughter – that he “truly believe[s] that she’s finally in a place where she wants to be, but it’s just a few people in her life that keep leading her off that path and enabling her.” The Lohans might be divided in their opinion of who should be responsible for Lindsay but that all agree that it’s not a 24 year-old woman’s fault that she ended up in jail after two DUIs and multiple failed drug tests.
As I think we all can agree, Michael Lohan is a disgusting person. He’s horrible. He’s an abusive monster. But even a broken clock is right twice a day, and I think that Michael might be on-target completely in a new interview. He sat down for an exclusive interview with Radar to discuss the Lindsay situation, and he revealed several gems about his daughter and about his ex-wife Dina. The biggest news is that according to Michael, Dina and Lindsay’s manager are trying to push Lindsay into a Britney Spears-style conservatorship – that Dina will control jointly with Lindsay’s manager Lou Taylor. Michael bashes Dina for not only being a sh-tty mother who wants to profit from Lindsay even though Lindsay is a sick, twisted, f-cked up woman, and how Dina is basically a horrible business manager.
Michael Lohan tells RadarOnline.com he’s learned of a plot to put his troubled daughter Lindsay under a conservatorship – and he is fighting mad about it. The Lohan patriarch said Lindsay – who has reportedly checked into an intensive in-patient rehab program – is facing tough new living and legal situations.
“I’ve learned of a plot to put Lindsay under a conservatorship,” Lohan told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive video interview.
According to Michael, his estranged ex-wife, Dina, is moving toward obtaining the temporary conservatorship, which would allow legal control of his daughter’s well-being and finances as she battles serious substance abuse issues. He said, “It’s disturbing… the co-conservators would be Dina and Lindsay’s business manager, Lou Taylor.”
Michael said he’s aware that Dina and Taylor are making the move behind-the-scenes, in the wake of the Mean Girls starlet’s brief stint in jail last Friday. Taylor, who in 2008 helped put Britney Spears under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears, came on board just over three months ago when Lindsay was first sentenced to jail.
“Lou and Dina are trying to throw Lindsay in a rehab right now and get her out of the picture so they can get a conservatorship without her knowing,” he told RadarOnline.com. “They would control literally everything Lindsay does, what projects she has coming up, her finances and the people she sees-and that includes keeping me out of her life. I hope Lindsay hears this and realizes what they’re trying to do.”
Michael said he learned of Dina’s plan from “attorneys very close to Dina and Lindsay” and “people he knows who deal with conservatorships.”
He further says his ex-wife is being advised to make the move behind-the-scenes, while she’s in rehab. Michael, who admitted to RadarOnline.com that he had wanted to establish a conservatorship for Lindsay as recently as April, is now protesting the move. He said he would engage attorneys to fight it.
“I never wanted to get control of her finances,” Michael told RadarOnline.com. “I wanted a conservatorship for her so that I could weed out the bad people in her life. The way Dina and Lou want to do it is to get a conservatorship, line up a bunch of projects for Lindsay when she gets out of rehab, make a lot of money off of them so they can control it and make their due.”
As part of her original sentence, Lindsay was ordered to avoid alcohol and illegal drugs. Last week, she admitted to failing a drug test and returned to court on Friday, where Judge Elden Fox initially denied bail and had her locked up.
She was jailed for about 14 hours, but her lawyer appealed the ruling and another judge agreed that Lindsay should be allowed to post bail pending a formal probation violation hearing.
She posted the required ten percent of her $300,000 bail, and she was out Friday night.
In 2008, Spears was placed under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears to manage both her personal and business affairs following a long period of incredibly unruly behavior.
Her career since has experienced a career resurgence and had substantial weekly visits with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. A source close to Dina told RadarOnline.com they were not aware of the plan, but conceded that didn’t necessarily mean it wasn’t an option being considered. Michael said he can “undeniably” prove every claim he’s making and is willing to do so if he has to go to court to fight his ex-wife’s plans.
When asked if he would ever want to be Lindsay’s conservator, Michael told RadarOnline.com “I’m leaving that up to the courts to decide. But of course, I’m Lindsay’s father. I have only her best intentions at heart.”
We asked Dina’s rep about Michael’s claims, and while says she didn’t know anything about Dina seeking conservatorship, she did admit that she wouldn’t necessarily be aware of it in any event.
I mean… yes, Michael could be full of sh-t. Really. I accept that possibility. But I do think Dina is up to something. Mother Crackhead been so suspiciously quiet lately – I think she’s crack-plotting something epic. What makes it worse, in my mind, is that Lindsay does need someone – like a conservator – to help her get back on track. But that person is not Mother Crackhead, Lindsay’s biggest enabler.
Over the weekend we heard that Lindsay Lohan was going to “voluntarily” check herself into an inpatient rehab facility after failing two drug tests and being sentenced to 30 days in jail. It’s a good idea even if someone has to drag Lindsay’s orange ass there while she’s kicking, screaming and tweeting. Obviously Dina isn’t going to do that as she’s an enabler of the highest order. Lindsay’s dad Michael has long been advocating for his daughter to get treatment, but he seems to be more interested in the publicity he gets for being a self righteous prick than his daughter’s well being. He’s also a nasty abusive person, as shown by how he treated his last twogirlfriends and now Lindsay’s lawyer. Michael admits leaving threatening messages for Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, after Lindsay was sentenced to jail without bail (which was of course overturned on appeal) but he claims it was about the fact that no one was trying to get Lindsay into rehab.
Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, worked miracles running back and forth to court Friday to spring her client from jail, but it wasn’t good enough for Michael Lohan. TMZ has learned daddy Lohan left a voicemail and texts on Holley’s phone, threatening to “blow you out of the water.”
Sources tell us the voicemail — left earlier in the week — also threatened to “dig up dirt” on Shawn, as well as Lindsay’s business manager, Lou Taylor.
Michael left two text messages on Holley’s phone Friday after the court hearing, telling her she should do Lindsay a favor and quit. In another text, Michael claimed Holley and Taylor were destroying the Lohan family.
Michael went nuclear at the Bev Hills Courthouse Friday morning after Judge Elden Fox threw Lindsay in jail. Fox’s decision was reversed later that day after Holley filed an appeal, and Lindsay got out of jail Friday night.
We’re told Holley, who could not be reached for comment, will not seek a restraining order.
It’s just Michael being Michael.
UPDATE: Michael tells TMZ, “It’s true. I said those things … but it’s spun. I wasn’t knocking Shawn for working all those hours … I was knocking the fact that I told them to do this [send Lindsay to rehab] a long time ago. Just now they’re listening.”
If you listen to Michael’s post-sentencing rant to the press (above) he says that it’s not Lindsay’s fault that she’s so messed up, but is everyone else’s fault for “enabling her.” He says at about 2:00 in “I truly believe that she’s finally in a place where she wants to be, but it’s just a few people in her life that keep leading her off that path and enabling her.” Are you kidding me? This is typical of the Lohan family. It’s everyone else’s fault except them and their daughter. Dina and Michael may seem to have a lot of different opinions and they obviously hate each other, but it’s clear that they agree on that point.
There are a lot of comparisons being made between what happened with Britney Spears in 2008 and Lindsay’s latest antics. Fox News has a story speculating on whether Lindsay could be placed under a conservatorship like Britney. They quote an expert who says that Lindsay is in need of a conservator but that she hasn’t quite reached the point where she’s showing “signs that she is incapable of caring for herself” like Britney did. It doesn’t seem like this is going to happen for Lindsay, as dire as her situation seems to us on the outside. Can you imagine if Michael was appointed Lindsay’s conservator? I would actually feel sorry for her.
The California Medical Board is conducting some sort of investigation into the doctors that presumably over-prescribed Lindsay Lohan’s various medications, including a prescription painkiller that is 8-10 times stronger than morphine. This comes at the loud insistence of her famewh*re dad, Michael, who has sold old just about every person who has ever been close to him, including his daughter, Lindsay. He’s also been (accused of) abusing at least two of his recent girlfriends, and now he’s sold nude photos of each of those women to the press. (Again, allegedly, we can’t prove it’s him, etc.) Given all we know about Michael Lohan, it certainly helps explain, although it doesn’t excuse, how Lindsay turned out to be such an entitled addicted mess. At least he’s doing something useful for once, despite his motivations and the fact that it might not help much. If she wants to keep taking heavy duty meds she’ll doctor shop until she gets them.
TMZ has learned … the Medical Board of California is investigating doctors who prescribed a variety of medications to Lindsay Lohan.
TMZ obtained these photos of investigators for the Medical Board at the law offices of Michael Lohan’s lawyer, Lisa Bloom. The photos, which were taken on Sept. 2, show Michael, Bloom and investigators.
Bloom sent a letter to the California Attorney General back in July, asking for an investigation into “the unscrupulous doctors [who] overprescribe medications …”
We’re told the A.G. referred the matter to the Medical Board, which launched an investigation.
As TMZ first reported, prior to entering UCLA, Lindsay had various prescriptions, including Dilaudid, Adderall, Nexium, Zoloft, Trazodone and Ambien.
As we’ve told you … UCLA determined Lindsay had been misdiagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and prescribed meds she should not have taken.
Bloom confirms with TMZ, “The Medical Board is investigating and Michael and I are cooperating with them.”
TMZ reports this great stride forward in Michael’s never-ending “search for Lindsay’s dealers” but they don’t have anything on the fact that “someone” sold very explicit photos of Michael’s ex fiance, Erin Muller, to website TheDirty.com. (I’m not going to link to those, you can search on that site if you’re interested.) Radar Online has that story, along with some suspicious tweets that Michael Lohan made on the matter suggesting he’s involved, which he denies.This is exactly the guy’s M.O. as he did the same thing to another ex-fiance and sold nude photos of her to a different website.
In the wake of Lindsay’s incarceration and pending court-ordered rehab, Michael Lohan has a real chance to redeem himself, a la K-Fed, and say “I told you so.” When compared to Lindsay’s enablingdelusional hard-partying mom Dina, Michael could easily come off as the more responsible party who is looking out for his daughter’s interests. He’s managed to piss all that away with a mean temper that comes out in interviews as frustrated rants, and behind closed doors as violent abuse. Now that the news is out that Michael Lohan (“allegedly”) threw his girlfriend, former Star reporter Kate Major, over a chair and kicked her in the face, he’s decided that the best way to deal with the media fallout is to sell unflattering nude photos of her that were obviously taken without her knowledge while she was passed out in bed. If you didn’t think he could sink any lower than leaking tapes of his sobbing daughter begging for help, you were wrong. (You can find the photos on a site called kikster and I’m not going to provide a link.)
Michael sold the photos to the highest bidder, and justified his actions by claiming that he’s supported Major for the past few months. “She has no money, no job and she’s been living off of me for the last 8 months… and her dad just cut her off. If she doesn’t stop the nonsense, more and more will come out. I am tired of being used and people who need to make up stories to make money off others. I have more important issues to deal with than Kate Major.”
TMZ has a video of a paparazzo on the street asking Kate about the abuse and the nude photos. She calls them “disgusting” and says they were taken in April when she was asleep. As for whether she’s going to take legal action against Micahel for releasing them, she said that it’s up to her lawyers.
Michael Lohan turns in list of Lindsay’s doctors to Sheriff
Meanwhile Michael Lohan is still trying to play the savior dad to Lindsay in the media. He went to the LA county Sheriff’s Department yesterday to turn in “a list of doctors he claims ‘over-prescribed’ drugs“ to Lindsay. The doctor who gave her Dilaudid should definitely be investigated, I’ll give him that. You have to question this man’s motivations in light of all we know about him, however.
Michael asks Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Wahlberg to visit Lindsay in jail
Michael did a radio interview yesterday in which he claimed to have tried to contact both Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Wahlberg and asked them to visit Lindsay in jail. It’s ridiculous and overreaching, like everything else this family does. The Lohans have a little more time to find a celebrity willing to visit Lindsay in jail. The latest news has her staying in jail until at least Sunday – not even two weeks out of a 90 day sentence.

Shock of shocks, violent felon Michael Lohan might have bit and kicked his fiancée Kate Major (she was also a Star Mag writer and Lindsay‘s former assistant). Who could have predicted this turn of events? Oh, right. Everyone. Because Michael Lohan is a verbally and physically abusive prick. Seven months ago, it was a different girl – his then-girlfriend Erin Muller. I had to look it up to get the specifics, because all I really remembered was that Michael allegedly kicked Erin… on her vagina (Michael later denied it, but his denial sounded more like “She deserved it”). This time around, with Kate Major, Michael allegedly kicked Kate in the face. UGH, this f-cking pig.
Sources tell TMZ Michael Lohan’s fiancee filed a report with the Southampton Town Police claiming Michael physically attacked her during an argument.
We’re told Kate Major claims … on Monday at around 2 PM, just before Michael flew to L.A. for Lindsay Lohan’s hearing, they began arguing and Michael allegedly shoved her over a chair, injuring her shoulder.
Sources say Major claims while she was on the ground Michael kicked her in the face.
Major claims she went to the hospital and has pictures of her injuries.
We contacted Michael, who told TMZ he got in an argument with Kate on Monday over their upcoming TV show, but he didn’t touch her and she’s making it all up.
Send the motherf-cker back to jail. I’m too lazy to look it up, but I know Michael has been in and out of jail at least twice, and I know that he has a history of physically abusing his girlfriends, fiancées and wives. Of course his behavior (not to mention his f-cked up genes) had an effect on Lindsay’s crackhead drama. But more likely than not, what Lindsay really learned from Michael is that whenever she does something horrible, it’s best to just deny, lie and act like a martyr when someone calls you on your bullsh-t.
Now that Lindsay has been sentenced to 90 days in jail both of her parents are separately cashing in with interviews. Dina is showing what a sorry enabler (and plastic surgery victim) she is while Michael is of course spewing his self righteous “I told you so” bullsh*t. (There are a ton of updates in this case and I’ll do my best to cover most of it, but if I miss a few I’ll assume you’ve already seen it or are over it anyway.)
Michael Lohan: drops F bomb on Fox News, tells Larry King Lindsay needs rehab
Michael Lohan was on Larry King Live with his lawyer and Dr. Drew on Tuesday after the sentencing. Somehow we missed this amid all the other stories on Lohan. (You can watch the show here and here’s the transcript.) While Michael Lohan has certainly shown that he’s capable of selling out his family and friends (by secretly taping them without their knowledge and revealing their lowest moments to the press) he does seem to have Lindsay’s best interests in mind, especially compared to her mother.
On Larry King, Michael was subdued and sane-sounding. His lawyer pointed out that Lindsay will still be able to take prescription drugs in jail and presumably in rehab. They argued that the best course of action for Lindsay would be six months of rehab, and claimed they sent a letter to the court prior to sentencing outlining their plans for Lindsay.
On Fox News yesterday, Michael went off the rails when the interviewer questioned his dedication to his daughter’s health. He dropped the F bomb and got all agitated and upset. Here’s the video, with Michael starting to defend himself around 8:00 in. He gets all pissy around 9:20 and swears at 10:00.
The highlights are Michael self-righteously defending himself and blaming Dina, with the detail that she’s drunk “half the time.” Here are the relevant quotes:
“I think a lot of [people] are probably saying, ‘You know, if you’d done half this much to try and help your daughter back in the day,’” Smith said, before Lohan cut him off in an angry attempt to defend himself.
“Are you kidding me?” Lohan said. “Give me a break. All of my effort is spent on trying to help my daughter, flying all over, back and forth, following her, calling narcotics agencies, meeting with the DEA, meeting with people. And I go out for five minutes to get some food and I spend ‘half as much time helping my daughter’ as I do that? Give me a break!
“That’s my kid, don’t tell me how much time I spend helping my daughter, or going out to eat dinner. Or how much time I spend in the f**king gym.”
Lohan immediately apologized.
In the interview, Lohan tried to explain how he was trying to help his estranged daughter, and he said his many public appearances, including the interview with Larry King, were “out of respect.”
“It could end in death,” Lohan said of Lindsay’s behavior, which has included excessive drinking, drug use and reckless driving. “If it was your kid what would you do? If you don’t know, and you’re not in my shoes, you have no place saying what I should do.”
He put all of the blame for Lindsay’s troubles squarely on the back of his ex-wife, Dina Lohan.
“When I had no other choice, and I found out what was going on in my daughter’s life, and when I tried to approach (Dina) on it and talk to her about it, she cut me off,” he said.
“I went to Shawn Chapman Holley, her lawyer, months ago with my lawyer, Lisa Bloom, and we said, ‘Let’s do something, let’s get her into rehab, let’s sit down,’” he said. “We set up appointments. Lindsay’s former lawyers, her drug counselors … said you need family therapy. You have to get the whole family together and do an intervention or do something to help Lindsay, and Dina wouldn’t come to the table.”
“Everything Dina has ever said has been proven to be a lie,” he said. “Half the time I call her, she’s drunk.”
The guy is a capital a “A**hole” but he has been trying to get Lindsay into rehab. He held that whole press conference about it and everything. (eyeroll).
I can’t stand Michael Lohan but I find him slightly more palatable than Dina, who gave an interview to ET (segment below) making Lindsay out to be a poor milkaholic victim as usual. In his interview with Fox, Michael said that the Dina Lohan family reality show is underway and they’re even filming now. Keep that in mind when you watch Dina’s alien face keep the same surprised expression while just her bottom lips move and her eyes blink. When Dina cries tears come out of her eyes but the only thing that moves are her hands to wipe them away.

With a rageaholic controlling dad and an enabling mom filming her daughter’s journey to jail, no wonder Lindsay is so messed up. She’s old enough to know better now and maybe some time in the pokey will help her figure things out.
Before she abruptly quit, Lindsay’s lawyer issued a statement complaining about her client’s “harsh” sentence and saying that the “f*ck u” nail message was blown out of proportion by the media as it “could barely be seen by the naked eye.” Lindsay likes people who make excuses and denials for her and will keep them around as long as they can stand her.
Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael has been saying for months that Lindsay is addicted to prescription drugs and that she needs an intervention. He’s been doing it in his typically fame-seeking, talk to every paparazzo with a camera way, so it was easy to ignore him at first. Now that Lindsay has been ordered to take random drug tests and wear a SCRAM alcohol monitoring bracelet, people are taking daddy Lohan more seriously. Sadly, he seems to be about the only person in her inner circle trying to get her the help she so obviously needs.
Michael was on The Early Show today (video below) to discuss Lindsay’s recent court order for violating her probation. He had praise for the judge and district attorney and repeated his claim that Lindsay needs professional help and not a jail sentence. One thing that really interested me in this interview was a question posed to Lohan’s lawyer (who is representing him in his bid to get some kind of conservatorship over nearly 24 year-old Lindsay) about whether Lindsay’s random drug tests would reveal prescription drug abuse. Her answer was that to the best of her knowledge, the drug tests would only be for illegal drugs. That probably means that Lindsay can keep popping all the Oxy and Vicodin she can get her hands on. Cocaine leaves your system in a few days, so as long as she keeps away from it and doesn’t drink she might be able to keep abusing prescription drugs. As Dr. Drew Pinksy explained in a recent segment on CNN, “if she’s taking prescription medication she won’t have the same drive to use alcohol or an illicit drug.”
Michael’s lawyer said they’re hoping that prescription drugs are included in the random testing so that Lindsay gets the help she needs. Michael explained that his daughter won’t “ever be herself unless she’s off prescription drugs,” and added “she needs a rehab. She doesn’t need jail.”
Michael Lohan makes a lot of sense, I hate to say. I do disagree on Lindsay not needing jail time, though. She should get the same treatment as others with multiple DUI offenses.
I think most people see the truth in this situation. Lohan has a serious problem and is in complete denial. In this video, while she is trying to excuse everything, she fails at it miserably.
The reporter asks Lindsay, “Was that cocaine in the photographs?” Notice how Lindsay doesn’t answer the question.
Lohan says, “I was literally walking back to my room with a few of my friends, um, after doing press for my movie…I was with some of the producers I work with. They went back into my room, and the director as well, and I stopped in someone’s room because someone came out of the room, and said, “Could you just take a picture with me really quickly?”
What is fascinating is how Lindsay first says she was with her friends. Then a second later, she says she was with the producer and the director. Which is it? If they are friends, you continue to refer to them as “friends”. If you say producer/director, you would stick with that. Why is she flipping them here? Notice the stutter with the word “um”?
Notice, too, the details are missing in her story.
Supposedly everyone went to her room, but she stopped. Who let them in her room then, if she stopped? Why doesn’t she talks about the details of handing over her key? Is this the cart before the horse–because it is a made up story? It sure looks that way!
Eyes’ assessment of Lindsay is consistent with what Dr. Drew told Larry King about her issues. Like Daddy Lohan, I hate to agree with Dr. Drew, but he’s correct when he says that Lohan is in denial. “She’s an addict… she’s not thinking clearly. She doesn’t have the usual priorities that the rest of us do… how far down is she going to have to go?” Dr. Drew doesn’t think that Lindsay will get busted on a probation violation for setting off the SCRAM device, but assumes that she’ll be unable to make her court ordered alcohol education classes.
Whatever happens, I don’t think anyone expects Lindsay to get through the next six weeks before her next hearing without incident. If her drug tests don’t look for prescription drug abuse, though, she has a better chance at squeaking by.

As we heard last week, Lindsay Lohan somehow stumbled her way into an acting job. She was cast as 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace, although I have doubts about two big things – one, whether producers will be able to finance the project with Lohan cast as Lovelace, and two, whether anyone would insure Lindsay, or whether she drop out under mysterious crack-related circumstances. But for now, the world is rosy because Lindsay got a job, right? Not so much, according to Michael Lohan. He gave an interview about how horrible he thinks this casting decision was, and how Lindsay should be in rehab, not a film set:
Michael Lohan doesn’t want his daughter playing legendary porn star Linda Lovelace. In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Lohan says “Please, don’t give me this ‘craft’ or ‘artistic’ BS. Mark my words, it’s a blunder and the film will flop.”
As RadarOnline.com was the first to reveal, Lindsay is hoping to star in a biopic about famed Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace, who later renounced the porn industry.
“WOW! Linda Lovelace! What great management and career decisions!!” her father Michael adds. ” It’s a far cry from the general audience and good-natured films Lindsay did, that made her a star!
“Tell me, what father would support his beautiful and talented daughter, playing a porno star?! Look at the films she did, and the career she had while she had a mother and father in her life. I’m talking about Parent Trap through Mean Girls. Then look at everything after she had only her mother in her life,” Michael adds, taking a swipe at his ex-wife Dina Lohan. “You and your ‘team’ have done and continue to do a great job, Dina.”
“Regardless, Lindsay doesn’t need to be looking at or doing any films, music or anything right now, she needs REHAB! She will never be herself or be able to perform to the best of her ability, as long as she is on prescription medication!”
Eh, I can’t say I disagree with Michael, and I hate when that happens. The only point I disagree with is blaming Dina for Lindsay’s career stumble. What is it with Dina and Michael? They’ve been split up for how long now? And they’re still bitching and sniping at each other in the press. They must still be in love with each other.
Speaking of, Dina and Michael were both at a charity boxing event over the weekend, and Dina ignored Michael, who was with his fiancée Kate Major. According to WENN: “Michael Lohan was left visibly upset when he turned up to a charity boxing event, only to be snubbed by his ex-wife Dina Lohan. Lindsay Lohan’s mum turned up to the same New York show as her former husband after flying in from Los Angeles, where she had been visiting the actress. Michael Lohan was excited to see Dina, but when he went to speak to her, she turned her back on him and refused to talk.”
One last thing – E-Trade is asking that Lohan’s milkaholic lawsuit be dismissed because the suit is “meritless.” According to TMZ, something is going to be decided in June about whether there’s really a case there.
