There are reports, from the paparazzi agency which happened to be the same one who caught them on the beach in Costa Rica, about Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas’s weekend in LA after they returned from their trip. Ana spent the night at Ben’s house Saturday night and they were spotted house hunting together in Venice, CA on Friday. Ben just bought that compound down the street from his family a couple of years ago so Ana is surely the one considering a move to Venice. Her star is rising and she’s probably looking for a place to buy. Here’s People’s report on their weekend:
Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas are staying by each other’s side after returning from their romantic trip to Latin America.
Affleck, 47, and de Armas, 31 — who met while shooting their upcoming thriller Deep Water — spent Saturday night together and the Knives Out actress joined the actor at his home.
Earlier in the day, Affleck spent time with his three children, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11 and Sam, 8.
Affleck and de Armas were also with each other on Friday in L.A., where he appeared to be helping her house hunt.
Then, on Sunday, Ana was seen driving Ben’s car to a spa appointment at the Hotel Bel-Air. You can see the photos on Just Jared and my source about the spa appointment is the photo agency Backgrid, where we have a subscription but not for exclusive photos. I assume Affleck has a tab there because remember who else stayed at the Hotel Bel-Air? That’s right, the nanny did and she ran up a $12,000 bill there. She also did bikini photoshoots poolside at that hotel for Star Magazine and In Touch. Ben also lent his car to the nanny, to Shauna Sexton, and to the random woman he hooked up with from Raya in the fall. I wonder if he bought Ana jewelry already, or maybe he saves that for when things get tough and/or he gets caught with another woman. Sometimes I think about the story where Derek Jeter used to send all his hookups gift baskets afterwards and once sent a woman a gift basket twice, forgetting he’d slept with her before. Affleck has certain moves he makes. Ten bucks says Ben takes Ana to Montana next.
Also Ana did an interview with Spanish Vogue where she talked about being famous in Spain before she moved to the states (she’s originally from Cuba) and navigating that. She also talked about working with Ben and practically gushed about him:

In the video of them outside the new property she was “viewing” on Fri with Ben, they have a huge open garage door for the papz to take pics. It’s funny!
They’ve called them all weekend when she wasn’t at his place too. If they wanted to be undercover they could be.
And she’s looking DIRECTLY at the camera smirking in literally every pap photo, even on the beach! Lolz.

I think he has already bought her a diamond necklace. She’s been wearing one for the past couple of months and had never worn it before.
I feel like people are going to credit her rising career to him now, which isn’t fair. Honestly, with all of his baggage and struggles, I can’t imagine getting involved with him.
It is what she wants, and she wants it fast. She is loving the attention this is giving her.
She’s featured in lots of Spanish magazines also because shes a Spanish citizen. All her grandparents are Spanish and she moved here from Cuba quite easily because she qualified for nationality by ethnicity. They like to cheer her on as potentially Spain’s next big Hollywood actress.

Yesterday I saw some old pap pics of Ana and some sleazy old guy frolicking in sea water. She must have been 22 years old that time. Old habits die hard, her and Ben makes perfect sense now. There are Ben/Ana sightings from January on Twitter. Ana isn’t doing anything that nanny didn’t do and that relationship was definitely real so I’m sure this one is too.

Ben is an addict, yes. He falls off the wagon, yes. But that doesn’t mean he’s doomed to wreck every life he comes into contact with. And I dislike the narrative that he’s ruined lives.
Broken hearts, yes. Anyone who dates an addict is risking heartbreak, especially an addict whose career can be stressful, unpredictable, and grinding.
But characterizing him as a ticking time bomb is a horrific way to describe someone who falls a little and struggles but tries to get back up.
All these articles and comments suggest the man is beyond help and can never be in a relationship again. The man isn’t Charlie Sheen ffs.

No, I agree with you. Any woman he’s spotted with elicits scorn (“she’s using him for press, just wants his money, doing it for roles, etc”). It’s like some people want/expect him to be alone and miserable for the rest of his life, or to only start dating according to THEIR timetable. He and Church Lady split 5 years ago. Yeah, he’s had a rough time but everyone deserves to be happy. He looks happy now. Ana has a solid rep and seems like a nice, decent person. I don’t get the outrage. And literally anyone he dates is going to get attention whether she wants it or not. It doesn’t mean that she and her PR team are calling the paps. The paps followed Shookus’s ex around NYC and took pics of him, did he call them??? lol They will photograph whatever sells and anyone connected to Ben sells.
I agree on the not pouring scorn part, but the set up pap shots are so obvious its overkill. It’s been a new picture set and drip fed positive quotes literally everyday since the return from Costa Rica (let alone the papped classic beach walk, lean in kiss moment.) I actually think the positive media coverage from Daily Mail/People etc is more telling, when for the last two years all they have written about is his past and his mishaps…then suddenly the narrative changes. Ana is beautiful, and curvy. She appears to have gained weight since last year and her face is very full. Could be wrong, but she looks preggo to me. Or Ana is just living a good life with Ben and eating whatever she wants.
