Princess Eugenie & Zara Tindall are finally christening their sons this weekend

CLgrGXhlpuK

I swear, one of the oddest royal stories came out of Prince Charles and Camilla’s Middle East tour last week. When they were in Jordan, they went to the UNESCO site on the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized. The British embassy requested and received bottles from the authorities, and water from the Jordan River was collected and given to Charles to take back to the UK. I had no idea such a thing was even possible! It seems like it is possible… for high-level officials and dignitaries. So Charles arrived back in the UK with bottles of Jordan River water, which the royals like to keep on hand for royal christenings. And wouldn’t you know, both Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie scheduled their babies’ christenings this weekend!

Queen Elizabeth is celebrating with her family on a special weekend. That’s because two of her great-grandchildren are being baptized at Windsor on Sunday. Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank and Zara and Mike Tindall have organized for the christenings of their sons, August and Lucas, respectively, to take place at a poignant time as Queen Elizabeth is marking her first wedding anniversary since the death of her beloved husband Prince Philip today. There’s added symbolism in that both boys are partly named after Philip — it is a middle name for each of them.

The couples will be joined by their parents — including Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson for Eugenie and Princess Anne for Zara — and cousin Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, The Sun, which broke the news of the occasion, said on Saturday. The service is set to take place at All Saints Chapel, in Windsor Great Park and a regular place of worship for the Queen. It’s also where Eugenie’s sister Princess Beatrice got married last year.

Fresh holy water brought from the River Jordan by Prince Charles following his tour there last week will likely be used in the ceremony.

[From People]

Just to be clear, the Queen’s wedding anniversary was Saturday, the 20th. They scheduled the dual christenings with that date in mind, and (I would think) because they wanted to keep the Queen occupied with something nice and family-oriented. I will update this post if we get confirmation that the Queen did go to the christening, but I suspect she will not physically go to All Saints Chapel. Perhaps just a little christening lunch back at the Windsor residence though? That would be my guess. A little bit surprised that Beatrice and Edo aren’t taking this opportunity to christen Sienna at the same time – Sienna was born September 18th, so she’s more than two months old. That’s “christening age,” right? But August and Lucas are months older and it must have been bugging someone at the palace that those two had not been christened yet. Maybe they really did run out of Jordan River water.

I will be mean because it has always bugged me, but Zara and Mike are such an ugly couple!
I mean, he is an ugly dude who looks like a brute and now that he opened his mouth we had confirmation he is indeed ugly within and without…but Zara, I guess she looks okay, it is just that by his side the fugly creeps on and makes her look even more horsey.

I normally dont comment on appearances but RF is fair game IMO and since I am not calling them lizard people and eenying them their humanity, I feel I have been more than fair.

    • Jade says:

The whole royal family is so blah and ordinary looking. Nobody would pay attention to them if they weren’t born with privileges. And they persecute and drive out of the family any members with charisma and/or beauty (Diana, Meghan and Harry)

      • Chloe says:

@jade: “ordinary looking” is keeping it nice because some members of that family look quite unfortunate. The 2 heirs come to mind…

      • Eurydice says:

Blah and ordinary are good things if the monarchy is to survive. That way they can be a kind of humming noise in the background and the people will forget to ask why the monarchy still exists.

    • Cessily says:

The reality is this family has inbred any definition out of the gene pool.. you can’t keep marrying cousins and expect it not to catch up to you. Bless their hearts.
Glad they have an event for them to celebrate, maybe they can keep focused of that.

    • Mac says:

Since when is not being beautiful a character flaw? And we wonder why women have so many body issues. 🙄

      • Jaded says:

Thank you Mac. I came here to say the same thing. Just because they’re royal doesn’t mean they should all aspire to look like models, scratch the surface and they’re all just human beings like us, warts and all. Some of the mean comments flung at Bea, Eugenie, Louise, etc. are a good part of the reason why young women develop eating disorders and self-esteem issues.

      • mae says:

Agree. This comment makes me sad.

      • Moderatelywealthy says:

        @mac
Who said it was a character flaw?
Mike Tindall is a piece of s#”t who cheats on his wife and wants to beat up a teenager.
I just said his out matches the in…
Zara was not the point of the comment. Stop accusing me of shaming woman. I only said she looks okay … And that her man is so ugly that she being by his side makes her ugly too.
Women are not responsible for their husbands but sticking around, having a family with and tolerating bad behaviour is definetly a choice that takes its toll apparently since Zara obviously could do abd be better but has decided this is what she wants

        Spare me.

      • Jaded says:

@Moderatelywealthy — You say being with Mike Tindall makes Zara ugly. Well perhaps she’s the forgiving type which, in my estimation, makes her a lovely person. He’s a soccer lout for sure but he’s her soccer lout and they seem to have worked things out and have a good marriage. Perhaps she’s the reason he’s changed his behaviour. Second chances and all that…

As far as “wants to beat up a teenager”, all he did was throw a couple of weak punches at Harry to see how quickly his bodyguards reacted — they wrestled Mike to the ground immediately. A stupid move for sure but he did not beat Harry up. Zara and Mike actually have a good relationship with Harry and Meghan now so apparently all has been forgiven, water under the bridge.

BTW, the bouncer who uploaded security camera footage of the flirting incident in New Zealand to YouTube was charged with accessing a computer system for a dishonest purpose.

“Zara and Mike actually have a good relationship with Harry and Meghan now so apparently all has been forgiven, water under the bridge.”

How do you know this? What is your source? Please provide links or reference sources. At least publicly, Zara has seemed to b noe more friendly with Will and his family. Harry is known to be closer to Eugenie (Eug even met Meghan before Harry did, according to Meg herself, during the Oprah interview).

Mike had supportive things to say about Meg & Harry in the lead-up to the wedding. But also somewhat cheeky references to Meg’s show, Suits. I didn’t like Mike’s clueless public comments about BLM recently.

Also, Mike’s revelations regarding throwing punches at Harry when Harry was younger, in order to test Harry’s bodyguards is not a benign anecdote. Not in the current environment of Charles having removed security from Harry at a vulnerable time when M&H were in Vancouver deciding how and where to move forward.

Harry is paying for the best security possible to protect himself and his family from serious ongoing threats. It is fortunate that M&H have well-connected, close friends who helped them during that time. Lots of kudos to Tyler Perry, and to all of those friends who are like kin to M&H behind-the-scenes, always having their backs. Mike’s comments were neither innocent, nor harmless. IMO, Mike seems to be rather a classless, loud-mouthed lout.

That said, no one can pick their immediate relatives. That’s why it’s great to have loyal friends who are like family. Ultimately, none of the public really know for sure exactly who in the royal family Harry & Meg are still on good terms with, aside from Eugenie & Jack.

This summer, the York girls apparently made it known that they are not against Harry writing a memoir. They also reportedly indicated that Harry was ‘never listened to’ when he was a senior royal. I learned this from article review posts on Celebitchy. As we know, both Eug’s and Bea’s husband’s were later briefly, randomly and inappropriately attacked in the tabloids.

Best wishes to August and Lucas. Perhaps they will have a chance to grow up unscathed by the toxicity of the royal firm, since they aren’t direct heirs.

      • aftershocks says:

^^ There’s a strange error in my above response. I meant, “Zara has seemed to be more friendly with Will…”

The phrasing, “b noe more,” is an error.

    • Nikki* says:

I know nothing about them as people, but your comment was interesting to me because I thought they are MORE attractive to me than many of the other royals.

      • Lyds says:

@Jaded: can you point us to sources verifying that Zara and Mike have a good relationship with H&M now? I know Zara and Eugenia were the cousins closest to Harry at one point, but I feel like MT’s most recent comments cancel out all good will. Zara hasn’t said a peep to the contrary so I’m inclined to believe they are not on the best terms.

    • WREN says:

Zara is actually beautiiful though. Her and Peter are the best looking grandchildren.

      • ModeratelyWealthy says:

As i said, she is okay looking, but her husband is terrible person and so terrible in fact makes her look ugly by association.

      • Jaded says:

@WREN — I agree, she is quite lovely. ModeratelyWealthy seems to have a bee in her bonnet about Zara. Stand by for angry retort in 3…2…1…

      • WREN says:

@Jaded. I know, she literally called her ugly then tried denying it.

      • StellainNH says:

I agree with @ModeratelyWealthy about ugliness. One may look attractive, but if they are not a very nice person, the ugliness shines through. Tolerating bad behavior from a spouse is not a virtue.

      • Lucy says:

I think Zara and her mom are both decently good looking, but I’ll never forget how Zara and Mike were giggling through the Sussexes wedding (not the only ones who did, but it was notable). They found the sermon and choral music ridiculous and I thought it was the height of rudeness at the time and still do. That was all out ugly behavior.

      • norah says:

zara isnt beautiful at all – she is ordinary looking. i think if she had the x factor it would make a difference.

      • L4frimaire says:

I don’t find her remotely attractive, and she is completely lacking in style. The word blowsy comes to mind. At least she is a really skilled equestrian so she actually does something. Anyway, good for them getting the babies baptized. Giving the minor royals some shine.

    • Dashen’ka says:

What an ugly PERSON you are.

  2. ABritGuest says:

    A joint christening is cute.

    • Barbie1 says:

It really is. The babies must be so adorable. A good way to lift the Queens spirits on her wedding anniversary. A pity Andrew and Fergie had to be there.

      • Tessa says:

I wonder if he will be in the pictures front and center. I think he will.

      • aftershocks says:

        @Barbie1 said:
“A pity Andrew and Fergie had to be there.”

Umm, I think Eugenie and Jack want Eugenie’s parents to attend August’s christening. No matter Fergie’s and Andrew’s moral cluelessness, egregious flaws, and questionable behavior (plus the sexual assault accusations against Andrew), they have always been supportive and nurturing parents to their daughters. I’m sure they will be at Sienna’s christening too.

These christenings are intimate, private family functions, not public events open for over-scrutiny by royal observers.

      • L4frimaire says:

@Aftershocks, The amount of grace Fergie and Andrew get, chalked up to mere flaws. Andrew, who consorts with pedophiles and didn’t exactly said no to a girl(s) on offer, as well as getting all these “ loans” with a credit score and debts that would barely qualify him for a pay day loan . Fergie, who was caught on tape willing to sell access to her ex-husband for a large sum of money, who is constantly in debt to the point she accepts $15k from Andrew’s pedophile buddy. But sure, they’re just “ clueless” because grand babies, royal ones to boot. Give me a frickin’ break.

      • aftershocks says:

^^ @L4frimaire, I did not make any excuses for Andrew or Sarah. I’m not equipped to give anyone ‘grace’ either. You have failed to accurately read my comments. I did not say either Sarah or Andrew have “mere flaws.” That’s your wording, not mine. Both have exhibited egregious flaws and questionable behavior. Plus, I spoke separately in my earlier post about the sexual assault allegations against Andrew, which are serious. In addition, my stating that both Sarah and Andrew are clueless, is a reference to the fact that neither appear to be very bright, much less do either of them exhibit any common sense.

All of that said, how dare any of us decide that Eugenie and Beatrice should not invite their own parents to their babies’ christenings! Who gets invited is none of our friggin’ business in the first place. These are private family occasions.

      • aftershocks says:

        @L4frimaire said:
        “Give me a frickin’ break.”

None of us are intimately involved with any of the royals. For sanity’s sake, I always try to maintain perspective.

I often agree with and enjoy your posts in the royalty threads @L4frimaire. In this instance, I don’t think there’s disagreement, just misunderstanding regarding tone and intent of my comments. You are making a number of erroneous assumptions.

On the issue of family christenings, we as strangers do not get to decide who the parents invite. This is true whether the famous families we discuss are royal or non-royal.

      • L4frimaire says:

There are having flaws, and being deeply flawed. The York parents are the latter.

    • Amy Too says:

I wonder which baby got to wear the gown though.

      • swirlmamad says:

This is a good point — maybe Zara’s son since she’s the older grandchild? That’s kinda awkward.

      • Amy Too says:

But the other kid is higher up in the line of succession and is the “beloved” Andrew’s grandchild. It will be interesting to see what they did.

      • Becks1 says:

I’ll be surprised if we see pictures – we didn’t see any pics of either of Zara’s other babies christenings – but my guess is neither will wear the gown, they both may be too big for it. August was born in early February and Lucas is 8 months old I think.

My guess is Sienna will wear it though and maybe that’s part of the reason for the separate christenings, so it’s not as obvious that she’s in the gown.

      • aftershocks says:

        @Amy Too said:
“I wonder which baby got to wear the gown though…”

The original Victorian-era gown is fragile, and was retired for preservation purposes years ago. In recent years, a replica has been worn. Most likely, more than one replica gown was made. Or, in light of this double christening, a second replica may have recently been made.

@Becks1 makes good points though about possibly neither baby donning the replica gown, due to being much older than royal babies usually are for christenings.

      • L4frimaire says:

Wouldn’t be surprised if those kids are too big to fit in the gown now.

  3. Alexandria says:

See BM why don’t you just continue to write about your dumb royals like this? No need to insert those royals you were sick of or write about them. Pls continue this way (if you can help yourselves)!

  4. equality says:

Ordinary people can go on-line and order water from the Jordan to use. It’s not just an important people thing. According to the C of E children can be christened any time; there isn’t a set age. Of course, the RF may have a “protocol” about it. If they are done at the same time which gets to wear the “special” gown? Or will they strip the first child and then dress the second? I would think Eugenie would want Bea there. Is she not going to be or just not important enough to mention? How about Zara’s dad? Not going or not worth mentioning?

  5. Becca says:

I was christened with water from the river Jordan. My Nan was on holiday there and just brought some back with her.

    • Alexandria says:

It’s sweet of Chuck to do this for Eugenie and Zara. Unfortunately his lack of Christian compassion for his son’s family and his ex wife negates everything. You can blast him with holy water and he’s still a deadbeat.

  6. Sofia says:

I imagine having 2 christenings in one day is enough hassle to plan (especially if a 95 year old is attending them) so having 3 would have been too much to deal with – both planning wise and queen health wise.

  7. Amy Bee says:

The way the press had been behaving it was like Lili was the only baby in the Royal Family to be christened. That couldn’t have been fun for Zara and Eugenie.

    • Chloe says:

I don’t think they really cared to be honest Eugenie seems to appreciate the fact that her son has quite a high level of privacy. And i think zara would rather have no attention than negative attention.

      • Amy Bee says:

@Chloe: I think given the chance Eugenie would be a working royal and it doesn’t sound like the Tindalls are on good terms with the Sussexes. Zara and her husband are famous people in the own right and being part of the Royal Family means there’s jealousy even among the non-working/non-royal members. I think Zara would have issues with Meghan, a black American woman, getting more attention than her, the granddaughter of the Queen.

      • equality says:

Eugenie would be much better at the job than some of the current “working” royals but what has she done to make you think she would want the job?

      • Nic919 says:

I don’t think Eugenie expected to be a working royal as much as Beatrice might have as she seemed to get an art gallery position and not flail about as much as Beatrice. That said, the charity events she does do are done well, and she stayed at COP26 and did much more than the Cambridges. Eugenie has also given speeches and doesn’t mumble away.

  8. Over it says:

See after what william and Kate approved with jk to destroy Harry and his family happiness, .and then to willingly invite william and Kate to this knowing what they did. I can’t find any kindness in me to be happy for these people. I do like eugine and I understand she might feel like she has no choice but I think she does, she could have Said no to William and Kate coming. This is too much for me. These people tried to end Meghan and Archie life. I can’t and won’t forget and move on

    • harla says:

It might have been Zara and Mike who invited the Cambridge’s not Eugenie. If you recall Mike told that hilarious story (insert massive eye roll) about trying to beat up a teenaged Harry and how now the whole family wants to punch him. Imho, Mike and William are probably best mates now since they have a similar way of thinking.

    • lanne says:

I don’t think she can say no to William. He’s going to hold the purse strings, and he’s the one who will ultimately decide if she’s allowed to live in royal housing. He’s already angry that her family lives in Frogmore Cottage. It was supposed to stay empty and remain another stick with which to bludgeon Harry (his future bachelor pad, they hoped). The royal lodge lease will likely go to Beatrice. So Eugenia will spend the rest of her life sucking up to the Cambridges. William can probably make things difficult for her, as she has no personal money and her husband doesn’t have personal money either. Whatever trusts she has from her grandmother and great grandmother are likely her only nest egg, and she will always need expensive security. William will have a lot of financial control over the whole lot of them—they will all have to suck up to him.

      • Jan90067 says:

I thought Jack came from a wealthy family…? And did E & B get money from QM (Oh wait… I forgot Freeloader emptied those trusts as “loans” from her daughters), but what about Philip? Plus you know there will be bequeaths from TQ when she goes, if they don’t have trusts to draw on already. I don’t think they’re going to *need* to find jobs to put food on the table and a roof over their heads. Ever.

      • Over it says:

But she could, I know it could very well have been mike and Zara that invited them because those 4 are just as evil and racist as each other but I don’t see why eugine can’t say no to William. She could walk away. She has a job and so does her husband and I am sure she is already provided for in her granny will. She just wants doesn’t want to because she enjoys the life she leads. Not saying it definitely was her that did the invite because I honestly think she doesn’t like Karen and Kevin. Maybe have a separate christening. Don’t even know if it’s possible.or maybe do one with her sister instead of those two bullfrogs Zara and mike.

      • equality says:

That would have been nicer, Eugenie and Bea doing theirs together. Bea and Edo have supposedly purchased their own house and may have no interest in royal lodge. Hopefully Eugenie will eventually follow suit.

      • Bex says:

Mark my words…I see Eugenie and Jack making a run to the US when the Queen passes.

      • Carolind says:

Royal Lodge lease will NEVER go to one of the York daughters. They are not anywhere near important enough. Prob go to George or Charlotte once Andrew goes unless Andrew loses it before then. It might even go to Kate eventually if she outlives William.

      • Emmitt says:

I suspect when the Queen passes away, one or both of the York girls will make their exit out of England. I would not be surprised if Jack ends up getting a promotion with his job that takes him to the United States.

    • Athena says:

They invite William and Kate who then promptly leaked the news to The Sun.

      • Babz says:

Ironic, right? They are so obvious, and yet they seemingly continue to get away with it. The invisible contract becomes more visible every day. The Keens have to supply the tabloids with tidbits on an ever increasing scale, and I have to believe that it will blow up in their faces completely at some point.

    • swirlmamad says:

I believe it’s Zara who is closer to William by all accounts, and if an invite came from either of them it was from her. My guess is Eugenie’s loyalties may lie with Harry, but she’s not going to kick up a fuss at a joint christening where the entire family is invited. She’d just grin and bear it. Now if she made William a godfather or something, that’s a totally different story, but I highly doubt that will be the case.

    • Amy Too says:

I think it will be most telling to see if anyone/who chose Will or Kate as godparents for their baby. Isn’t William godfather to one of the Tindall kids already? Maybe they picked him again. I really hope Eugene didn’t pick either of the Cambridges for her baby.

    • Christine says:

I would bet my life that Wills and Kate are going because they know exactly how they look to everyone who is not on Salty Isle, after the Jason Knauf disaster.

They need something resembling a good optic, to rub between the two of them.

      • BeanieBean says:

I don’t think they’re introspective or reflective in the least; plus, each is as dumb as a box of rocks, so they’re clueless about the optics outside Salty Island.

    • aftershocks says:

@^^ Sorry @Over It. I don’t like W&K either due to their mean-spirited machinations against M&H. Still, we are on the outside looking in regarding royal family relationships. At some point, perhaps as outsiders, our emotions should be tempered regarding private royal family occasions and interactions.

There is certainly reason to believe that Eugenie and Bea have no use for Kate. Apparently, Zara is closer to at least Will. Probably most of the Windsors tolerate Kate and her family because of Will’s status as heir to the throne.

When she was dating Will, there are reports that Kate was mean to both of younger Bea and Eugenie. So there’s no love lost there.

Bea might be unlikely to invite W&K to Sienna’s christening, but invitations to heir and family may be required. Or else, Bea may schedule Sienna’s special day when W&K have other royal events to attend. LOL

  9. Over it says:

Sorry what I was trying to say is the proper and decent thing to do was to not invite the Cambridge’s. Especially after what was confirmed last week about what they did to Meghan and Harry. I don’t like these people at all. They can’t ever do the right thing. No moral compass whatsoever. So glad Harry took his wife and son and bounced

    • Oh says:

I have a bad feeling about Eugenie and I think one day she’ll turn on Meghan

      • BothSidesNow says:

Oh, I don’t see that happening as she is vey close to Harry. Let’s not forget that relationship. In fact it seems that relationships only matter to Harry as opposed to Baldingham, who could care less about anyone but himself.

      • swirlmamad says:

Why do you think that? She’s living in their home and has on multiple occasions openly shown support for H+M. That’s more than even Beatrice has done and I truly do think she’s in the Sussexes corner. I don’t think she’s insincere.

    • Alexandria says:

William is the future boss. They can’t cut him off. The Queen and Chuck screwed up. The courtiers screwed up. And Bulliam will not repent until and if the press and Tories turn on him. Have you seen any remorse from him? No.

    • Tessa says:

IF Diana had been around, I doubt Harry and Meghan and family would have left. She would have been the only one IMO to confront William and not let him do as he pleases. Maybe Charles would have come out of his wimpiness and reined William in. Though I don’t think William will get away with this forever…

      • Nick G says:

I will never forget her supporting “dear Meghan’s” 40X40 initiative. I bet she got some family heat for that.

      • Monica says:

This whole family would have been so different had Diana lived.

      • Nic919 says:

If Diana was around the Middletons wouldn’t be and William might have ended up with someone who didn’t enable his laziness and jealousy. Let’s not forget kate fought with any woman who got near William and the York girls who are William’s cousins and not remotely a threat for his attention.

  10. Tessa says:

William and Kate would be invited. I guess it will be about what she wears and talk of her being “broody” and wanting Baby No. 4.

    • Babz says:

She wore Diana’s earrings to Archie’s christening to upstage Meghan. At the very least, I think there could be a new coat dress, resplendent with buttons, because she’s been “recycling” for awhile and probably needs a new frock fix. Those two are riding high (they think), and their lack of self-awareness will make them thrust themselves into the spotlight on a day which has nothing to do with them. And you’re right, cue the “being broody for #4” stories.

      • nina says:

Well that did not go down as she expected because she ended up looking like a 50’s housewife while Meghan looked stunning in her white. I did not even notice the earrings. All I noticed was her frumpy dress and out of date headband.

      • norah says:

kate also wore a very different colour than the rest of the guests during archie’s christening too.

  11. aquarius64 says:

Did the babies take turns in wearing the honiton christening gown? We all know the press jackals would rather cover Lili’s christening and see all the Sussexes. This is the consolation prize for not getting first dibs on Meghan’s appearance on Ellen. But in all, blessings to the babies.

  12. Polo says:

Remember when they were trying to say Harry and Meghan would have a christening in November. All this time they knew it was actually for Eugene and Zara’s kids. They twist everything and literally lie especially when it come to Harry and Meghan.
Also everything they do is for PR. Eye roll on the water from the Jordan river. Yeah sure it’s nice but they have been very intentional on trying to project a “family image” as much as they can since the Oprah interview ( minus Harry and Meghan who they’ve exiled). This is just another way for them to do that except no one seems interested.

    • BothSidesNow says:

@ Polo, you are right!! No one cares about anyone in that family except TQ and the Sussex’s. Everyone else has nothing to bring to the table. The Lamridges have only one card and it’s the $$$$ card! Otherwise, no one in that family would give him the time of day.

I am glad that they were able to hold the christening but it would have been lovely for the York sisters to have theirs together!!

      • swirlmamad says:

True, I wonder why Eugenie and Bea didn’t just christen their kids together? Or Bea just join in this one? I guess 3 babies at once would be overkill…

  13. Islandgirl says:

In spite of everything that has happened I am actually sorry that Lilibet Diana will not be baptized the same time…

    • Tessa says:

The poor baby would then be subject to press and social media slamming. and the scornful looks of W and K. at the parents. Harry and Meghan really should get Lily baptized in California. William is working against them and Kate is also. A baptism with the Queen, Meghan’s mother, and the Spencers perhaps would work, but not with Cambridges and C and C there. Charles did nothing to stop William.

    • Sid says:

Why? Except for Eugenie and her husband, most of the other people at that christening have been downright cruel regarding Meghan and Harry. Why share a christening with people like that?

    • PrincessK says:

I still think that Lili will have a private christening in the U.K.

  14. aquarius64 says:

The Sun just did a story about Andrew’s closeness to Epstein, featuring a picture of Andrew on Epstein’s mantle. The christenings, sadly, may be a distraction.

    • Jegede says:

BRF christenings are planned way in advance.

For reasons of security, as well as Elizabeth & (then) Phillip’s, ages and schedules.

  15. Gabby says:

I would imagine that Eugenie and Jack were not the ones to invite the Cambridges, that seems more like the Zara side. There is no love lost between the Yorks and the Cambridges. Before Meghan came onto the scene, KKKate practiced her mean girl act on both Euge and Bea. TOB would not be Andrew’s favorite person either. For all of Andy’s flaws, he is Grandpa today. Frankly, I don’t see the Cambridges even bothering to attend when the day could be better spent lazing around. They don’t care about the people involved.

    • Nic919 says:

Unless they are godparents to one of the babies, it’s also possible they didn’t attend but just put it out there because how would the media know in a private ceremony anyway.

That video of those two at the royal variety was pretty icy and they probably avoid each other as much as possible.

  16. Maggie says:

Those nice white babies will surely be a comfort to the RF

  17. Misskitten says:

I once read someone describe Prince Charles as looking like a banjo player from Appalachia. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
And I don’t feel bad about repeating it. You’ll NEVER here me ridicule a girl’s/woman’s looks, but I have no qualms about flinging some mud at Charles. Call me a hypocrite. I’ll sleep just fine tonight.

    • lanne says:

Damn. You made me laugh. Mr. Tampon is fair game, and he’s wallowed in enough dirt himself that yours won’t hurt. Sleep tight!

And on the petty front, I don’t think Mike Tyndall had plastic surgery. I think he just hired one of his rugby yukyuks to kick his nose back to the other side of his face. Sweet dreams!

  18. Azblue says:

Re: royal family looks. Honestly, these folks are genetically inbred…to the point where some royal families had pretty horrific genetic diseases. It would not be a hard to see a history of unattractive looks and mental illness in addition to thinking they’re ordained by god.

    • NotSoSocialB says:

Nerissa and Katherine Bowes-Lyon were institutionalized by the BRF in 1941 and left there, abandoned by anyone in the BRF. They were described as “imbeciles.” There’s a good Harper’s Bazaar article published about it.

  19. WintryMix says:

It’s super common for Christians who visit the River Jordan to bring back water from it to use in baptisms. I used to work at a church and we had several bottles of it for use with baptisms.

  20. jferber says:

Wouldn’t it be nice if the fam in England sent a jar of holy water to Montecito for baby Lili Diana’s christening? I’m assuming she will/has had a christening in California by now. But I don’t guess Charles cares about his younger son or grandkids in America at all. A supremely ruthless, selfish, petty man. Oh, and about the soccer thug husband “weakly” punching a teenage Harry to see how fast the bodyguards came? WTF? Two adult, drunken athletes having the physical coordination much less the will to gauge and deliver “weak” punches to a kid? Those gorillas could have knocked Harry out or given him a concussion. Bloody hell, but that was a stupid comment.

  21. Likeyoucare says:

Thanks charles for bringing water only for the white kiddos.

Lily will be fine, she doesnt need all that hoppla. All the water in the world will not guarantee you to be a great kid. Just looks at your mama. She is the finest in the world.
