NewsNation’s Paula Froelich has some very strange royal “exclusives.” This is the same columnist who claimed last year that the Princess of Wales and King Charles were both close to keeling over, and Froelich has been on a tear this year, making all kinds of bizarre claims about the Sussexes’ Netflix contract and how Prince Harry is exactly like the Duke of Windsor. For some time now, my suspicion is that Froelich actually does have “sources,” and those sources are delusional palace courtiers who are going out of their way to spread lies about the Sussexes in the American media. Does that make me sound TOO conspiracist? I don’t care – I genuinely believe that’s what’s happening, and there’s evidence to back me up. Evidence like… this latest piece in NewsNation:
This week, royal watchers went crazy when photos of reps for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, as well as one from King Charles, were snapped having a meeting at an exclusive members club in London. Speculation ran rampant as to why the meeting happened, who called it and which side leaked it to the media. I have some answers for you.
As crazy as it sounds, I am hearing that Meghan Markle Sussex is behind the truce talks with King Charles. A close insider told me: “(Meghan) realizes she miscalculated when she orchestrated Megxit and then basically smeared the Royal family in the Oprah Winfrey interview and the Netflix docuseries.”
After leaving England for America, both Harry and Meghan told Oprah and Netflix that she’d wanted to commit suicide, there were racist questions asked about what color her children’s skin would be and that she felt she was imprisoned. Since then, the couple’s popularity has plummeted in both England and the States… and with her new As Ever line debuting as well as her second season of “With Love, Meghan” set to air in two months, it seems Meghan realizes she may need to make nice.
”The royal family does not need Harry or Meghan,” my insider said. “But Harry and Meghan need the royal family… they are only valuable individually if they are tied to the royal family. Being ‘Royal’ translates to money and deals for them. If [Harry and Meghan] are cast aside, they have no value.”
As for the meeting, my source said, “Regardless of what’s happening, there does need to be an open channel of communication between the two households, but there is a lack of trust. Whether and how that is repaired is the problem.”
At the meeting, the Invictus Games were discussed. The Olympics for wounded warriors will be held in Birmingham in 2027 — and the King has been formally invited. My source said, “The King will likely go if Harry and Meghan can keep their mouths shut about any meeting before or after the games. Military rehab is something that is easy to support for the King… and with the King’s medical treatment (for cancer) and his packed schedule, the games had to be brought up now.”
However, if the King decides not to go, “the Palace will say it’s because he’s at his annual Balmoral trip.” An annual family trip to which Harry and Meghan were not invited this year. A rep for the Sussexes didn’t return emails.
“The royal family does not need Harry or Meghan” – then the coverage should indicate that, surely? Instead, we’ve spent the past week hearing from royal reporter after royal reporter, all of whom are making the argument of “Harry and Meghan are terrible, but they must be forced back because the whole thing will fall apart when William is king!” I’m sure the royal family’s disinterest in the Sussexes is also why courtiers openly brief about the Sussexes constantly, and why the Windsors obsessively follow and copy every single thing Meghan and Harry say or do or sell. Anyway, the “blame everything on Meghan” game is especially stupid in this particular situation because Meghan is minding her business and selling out wine, jam, honey and tea at every turn. Ridiculous. Meghan’s business and their philanthropic work are doing just fine already. Harry also has a corporate job and venture capital interests, etc. They’ll always be who they are – members of the royal family – whether there’s rapprochement or not and are very happy in California.

I think this Paula woman just makes these stories up. She obviously hates Meghan and all her exclusives are about how Meghan is terrible, Meghan is a failure etc… Meghan and Harry have been cast aside by the royals since 2020 but have managed to make a living and build a life for themselves so this is pure fantasy on Paula’s part.

The way the source for this piece fantasizes about Meghan makes me think that he/she is a member of the royal rota rather than a courtier. Everything Meghan has said and done since she left the UK says she has no interest in being accepted back into the royal fold.
These “royal sources” are keen on the return of the US based couple because the King ‘s health is uncertain but Will and Kate are certain not to be successful replacements. Things are very dicey plus the UK government are looking to make cuts in public funding. They debate the formula for RF funding next year. What if you have W and K on the throne in name only in 2026 and the Firm wants a pay rise for 2027 to 2032? The recent avalanche of stories a) Will can’t manage his duties already b) if he sinks the monarchy he takes down the bottom feeders as well c) H and M are the solution and must be desperate to return! Wrong this is a desperate fantasy and bears no relation to the trust.

It’s Opposite Day again in the Leftover Royals’ and rota rats’ rotting brains. Harry and Meghan have shown they don’t need to live on Salty Isle or within the royal family and they’re still surviving and thriving. The stale Leftovers however cannot move on. The rota rats discovered who gets clicks and who doesn’t and they cannot move on. They predicted Harry and Meghan would be broke and broken and begging to come back. The only part that makes sense to me is: the meeting between Sussex and BP comms teams was a negotiation meeting for IG. Harry needs security for him and for Meghan if she wanted to attend the Games. He doesn’t want the snubbing/rift stories to overshadow the Games. Charles needs positive PR. Charles needs to be seen supporting not only the British Armed Forces but also as king he needs to welcome veterans of other countries. That’s all there is to it. And if the negotiations don’t work out and Charles chickens out, he’ll use the Balmoral excuse which is very fitting.

I think the “source” for Paula’s story is in her bathroom mirror. No one from the Sussexes is talking to her and her own story ends with “A rep from the Sussexes did not respond to emails”.
