In spite of a failed bid to host “The Price is Right,” Rosie O’Donnell will return to television, on the FX show “Nip/Tuck.” She’ll reprise her role as Dawn Budge, a woman who has won the lottery and wants to use her money fix her body and her life. Oh, and has a bit of a crush on one of the doctors. Producers weren’t specific on the number of episodes, but did say she’d be on for “several.” They also left the possibility open that O’Donnell’s character might get her own spin-off show. “Nip/Tuck” creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy said, “‘The character was so instantly popular. We’ve spoken about (a spinoff), it’s an ongoing discussion.’”

Rosie also made some headlines last week on her annual R Families Vacations cruise. The cruise is an annual get away meant for gay and lesbian families, and is supposed to be a time to have fun and not be judged. O’Donnell raised some eyebrows when she went on yet another tirade against Elizabeth Hasselbeck and Donald Trump in front of an audience of 1500 people. The press had led us to believe that Rosie and Elizabeth had possibly mended fences, and if nothing else were going to be respectful towards one another. But Rosie dragged out a large poster of Hasselbeck over which she’d drawn devil horns, goatee, and pointed tail. According to an audience member, O’Donnell commented, “‘Her only f–king credit was Survivor. Come on!’” and “‘ “I can’t fight with pregnant people. Just go have your baby and have a nice life.’” Her comments directed at Donald Trump were a little more expected, and presented a lovely visual image. “‘Rosie she’d love to break into his apartment and rub her belly all over him.’” Man that would make me so happy.

Rosie also told TV Guide last week that she didn’t get the gig on “The Price is Right” because, “‘They thought I was too controversial to host the game show .. I just wanted to ‘gay it up.”” She had previously stated that she was offered the job but chose not to take it because she didn’t want to relocate her family to Los Angeles, where the show films.

I love Rosie, but she’s clearly itching for a fight. You know how sometimes you’re in a bad mood and you hope someone says something wrong so you can yell at them? No? Just me? Okay well anyway, that seems to be where Rosie’s at right now. I mean the Elizabeth Hasselbeck thing had completely died down. The Donald Trump thing had too… and if nothing else, don’t poke the beast. While the media reports that came in about what Rosie said on the cruise were rather vague, it just seems like it wasn’t the appropriate venue. It’s a cruise! Family fun? Check. Midnight buffet? Check. Angry middle-aged TV host? Absolutely, you couldn’t have a satisfying vacation without one.

Victoria Beckham was recently interviewed by Contact Music as part of her massive “We’ve Moved” press tour, which the Beckhams are doing instead of sending out change of address cards to their friends and family. Victoria’s new reality special is called “Victoria Beckham: Coming To America” – a play on Eddie Murphy’s movie, “Coming to America.” The same Eddie Murphy who knocked up fellow spice girl Melanie Brown, and then claimed on television that he wasn’t sure the baby was his. That’s also how/when he broke up with Melanie. Also the same Eddie Murphy who picks up transsexual prostitutes to make sure they get home okay. When Murphy was brought up, Victoria had a few choice words for him.

I’d spit on his food definitely. “I’d chop his d**k off too.’”

As far as I’m concerned, this is absolutely the definition of true friendship. And this time I’m not being sarcastic. True friends hate people that screw over their friends, and if necessary, they tell the press about it. Last week Melanie Bromley, West Coast bureau chief of Us Weekly magazine said that for Victoria Beckham to become a star in America, she would have to “get some personality. At the moment, she’s a slightly two-dimensional character for Americans.’” Calling Eddie Murphy “’Beverly Hills C**k’” is a pretty great start in my book.

Oh man I’m so excited! I was pretty ambivalent about the Beckhams moving to the U.S., but if this is the kind of stuff that pops out of Victoria Beckham’s mouth in her first four days here, I hope she becomes my neighbor. The odds are kind of slim since I live in the middle of Brooklyn, but I have a lovely half bath that she could fit into perfectly, and probably have room for a couple of her cleavage-baring tops too. Either way, now I’m rooting for her. I hope it comes to blows with Eddie Murphy. Someone needs to take him down a peg. Although “Norbit” didn’t do it, so I’m guessing that nothing will.

Not totally surprisingly, Chantal Kreviazuk, who accused Avril Lavigne of ripping off songs and taking writing credit she didn’t deserve, has recanted. Everything little thing.

I would like to apologize for any misconceptions concerning Avril Lavigne, which may have resulted from statements I made in my interview with Performing Songwriter Magazine. It was not my intention to call Avril’s songwriting ability or ethics into question.

“My statements and any inference from my statements, which call into question Avril’s ethics or ability as a respected and acclaimed songwriter, should be disregarded and are retracted. Avril is an accomplished songwriter and it has been my privilege to work with her.”

Sounds like someone got served. Kreviazuk had attacked Lavigne’s songwriting and ethics in Performing Songwriter Magazine.

I mean, Avril, songwriter? Avril doesn’t really sit and write songs by herself or anything. Avril will also cross the ethical line, and no one says anything. That’s why I’ll never work with her again. I sent her a song two years ago called ‘Contagious,’ and I just saw the track listing to this album [the newly-released The Best Damn Thing] and there’s a song called ‘Contagious’ on it—and my name’s not on it. What do you do with that?”

Lavigne responded on her website, saying, “Chantal’s comments are damaging to my reputation and a clear defamation of my character and I am considering taking legal action.” Sounds like she took it.

I feel really badly for Chantal Kreviazuk, whoever she is. I really doubt a person in her position (not well known but well respected within the music industry) would say something like that about a famous singer unless there was truth to it. It seems like most websites and people in the music industry consider Avril to be somewhat of a hack. The way Kreviazuk took back absolutely everything, it almost seems like she’s groveling. You’ll note that she never denies saying any of those things, or tries to blame the writer or say things were taken out of context, which is good. She’s of course responsible for her own words. I don’t see how she could say something so powerful and then take it back, without giving some sort of reason. I’m guessing the reason is someone else’s power, combined with fear.

Brandon Davis got into a huge fight with his father at his brother Alexander’s wedding at the Mantage Resort in Laguna Beach. According to Page Six Davis got into an enormous, and embarrassing, fight with his father Nebil “Bilo” Zarif. We’re not talking a few words muttered under his breath and storming out, slamming doors. According to witnesses, Davis was “’knocking over chairs and flower arrangements.’” Sounds like he was drunk. Again.

One witness said, ‘Brandon got so upset, he sent tables crashing . . . he had to be carried out of the reception.’”

One can only wonder what he was so upset about. Probably that the attention was on anyone but himself. That guy will do and say anything to make sure everyone’s looking at him. “Greasy Bear” as he’s known to all of the internet, has apparently lost a few pounds, though it’s not noticeable to the casual observer. Some have speculated that’s why he can’t hold his liquor as of late. Though as I remember it, the guy was just as famous for drunken rants when he was still a tubby.

It seems like no one wants Davis around anymore. In April, Page Six reported an incident between him and Paris Hilton’s former fiancée, Stavros Niarchos.

Brandon “Greasy Bear” Davis is so unpopular, even his friends don’t want to be associated with him. The oil-heir grandson of the late Marvin Davis showed up to the Details magazine party March 29th at producer Mary Parent’s house in Hollywood and became enraged when he was denied access. According to our spy, ‘he started demanding that staffers get Stavros [Niarchos].’ The Greek shipping heir had evidently told Davis about the party and was already inside. But when staffers found Niarchos, he begged them to tell Davis that he wasn’t there, adding, ‘I didn’t invite him here, and I don’t really want to be around him.’ Niarchos then joined the other revelers. Davis eventually made such a fuss that he was allowed in - and Niarchos beelined to a Details editor to apologize, adding, ‘You know I would never bring him here.’”

This was all just a few weeks after he embarrassed himself at Paris Hilton’s birthday party, where he dry-humped Courtney Love in front of her daughter and drunkenly mocked Paula Abdul in front of a hundred people.

Oh to be rich and disgusting. I can’t think of anyone more derided by all than Brandon Davis. Even his pleather-wearing “little” brother Jason, currently in an e-fight with Perez Hilton, doesn’t compare (though he comes close). Brandon is the male celebutard, known for doing nothing but drinking, eating, and going to parties… where he drinks and eats. Considering the way he’s constantly mocking everyone within 100 feet of him, he should probably lay off the booze and cocktail wieners. Glass houses and such.

Well the drama that is Clay Aiken’s foot appears to have wound down a little bit. Clay addressed what actually happened on Entertainment Tonight.

“While sleeping on a plane over the weekend, my foot evidently found a home on the arm rest of the passenger seated directly in front of me. I didn’t realize I was causing the woman any distress until she woke me up with a quick hit to the chest.

“Unfortunately, being that this happened on a plane, the FBI was called in to investigate and eventually we were all sent on our way. I’d like to thank everyone for their concern; I am fine and have taken steps to prevent any foot wandering in the future.”

I’m not really Clay Aiken’s biggest fan – there have been so many reports about his rude behavior, and his tendency to lecture people. He (or his publicist) put a neutral spin on this, but unfortunately this isn’t Clay’s first foot-on-a-plane incident. On June 5th, Celebitchy reported that Aiken took of his shoes and socks on a plane, then put his bare, incredibly smelly, feet up on his assistant’s lap. The stench overpowered the whole cabin.

I think Clay has some serious foot issues. In a July 2003 Rolling Stone cover article on him, Aiken admitted that he is “scared of water, detests house cats, vastly prefers instant grits to real and bites his toenails.” I think this is a case of three strikes you’re out. Two feet on a plane plus one toenail biter equals a guy with foot issues. As Anderson Cooper wrote a short time later in an article for Details, “If the image of young Clay in a red leather jacket salivating on his big toe doesn’t make you ill, I have nothing left to say to you.” So I’ll just leave it there.

During his interview with Entertainment Tonight, Clay randomly ends by asking people to donate to UNICEF. Though it’s kind of unusual given the point of the interview, I’m going to include the quote and a link, since it’s an amazing thing to do.

“Now that I have your attention,” he continues, “if you’d like to learn more about how you can help the world’s children, please visit www.unicefusa.org.”

Blogger abuser and moody rocker Jared Leto broke his nose when fans rushed him at a concert in El Paso, Texas. He went on with the show, but got checked out by a doctor afterwards. Leto sustained other minor injuries to his face and body:

True chaos ensued Thursday at the Taste of Chaos tour stop in El Paso, Texas, resulting in 30 Seconds to Mars singer Jared Leto sustaining a broken nose and other injuries.

According to a spokesperson for the band’s record label, Leto was injured when he ran into the crowd during “The Kill” and thousands of fans overpowered security and rushed toward him on the floor of County Coliseum.

Along with his nose, which was unintentionally broken, Leto suffered a foot injury and superficial injuries to his face and body.

Leto finished the show and even declared it one of the best of the tour, but eventually checked into a hospital to ensure that none of his injuries would require surgery. 30 Seconds to Mars are scheduled to perform Friday (March 2) in Dallas.

No fans were reportedly injured.

It looks like someone reads Best Week Ever and jumped on the opportunity to punch Jared Leto in the face when it presented itself. There are many stories of this guy generally acting like an asshole and threatening people. He also really hates blogs because they point out how shitty his music is and occasionally pay attention to all the arrogant abuse he heaps on others.

It must suck to work on the set of Grey’s anatomy. Somehow people are always hurling insults and smack-talking about one another.

Isaiah Washington choked and shoved Patrick Dempsey in the famous “f-word” incident back in October, in which Dempsey came to the defense of his co-star T.R. Knight, who subsequent came out of the closet after the news broke. Isaiah then denied he said “faggot” at this year’s Golden Globes, bringing up the whole incident and throwing out the forbidden word again, which prompted him to check into rehab for PR control.

Now there’s word that Patrick Dempsey and Eric Dane were playing a game of poker with fellow cast and crew during a break from filming when it got ugly. Dane accused Dempsey of cheating and lunged at him, prompting Dempsey to try and punch him out. The crew separated the two before any contact was made, but how much animosity must there be on that set?

The star duo butted heads when Dane suddenly threw down his cards and jumped up howling that “Lucky” Dempsey must be pulling some kind of hanky-panky! Inflamed by the cheating charge, McDreamy cocked a fist and started to swing as McSteamy lunged! In an instant, crewmembers leaped up and separated the angry actors, who kept screaming insults at each other until they were led to cool off.

Not everyone on Grey’s hates each other. Katherine Heigl and TR Knight are said to be good friends who were perhaps brought together by all the strife on set between Knight and Washington. Heigl came to Knight’s defense earlier, saying Washington just needed to shut up about the gay-bashing incident and that it was not ok that he brought it up again.

There was a Freaky Friday role switch at Jermaine Dupri’s Grammy Afterparty in Los Angeles. When rage queen and Olympic phone chucker Naomi Campbell showed up with talented ‘Hustle and Flow’ actor Terrence Howard on her arm – Sean “Puff Daddly” Combs lost his talentless s**t. He started barking insults at the glamorous couple. Hip Hop crunch reports:

an angry confrontation took place at … between Diddy and supermodel Naomi Campbell immediately following Clive Davis’ annual Grammy Afterparty.
“[Diddy] just started screaming at her when he saw her,” says the snitching source. “No one could believe it. He was screaming obscenities at her, and also screaming at Terrence Howard, who was with her.”
“Naomi played it totally cool,” the source goes on.

What brought on the Tourettes spasm from the dog-fur covered mogul? And what’s behind the astounding maintenance of Naomi’s cool? Has our angry little girl finally grown up? Or is the sight of Diddly Poof’s pebble-sized head, angrily grunting out insults, just too reminiscent of all his second-rate videos to elicit much reaction? Perhaps if he had an actual musical talent singing some original insults under his tirade he might have scored a hit.

Other sources dish that while D&N used to enjoy a flirtatious friendship, their relationship soured under the influence of Kim Porter:
Kim Porter hates her,” the source continues. “There was also an issue that Diddy had wanted her to be the face of Sean John’s women’s line - but didn’t want to pay her.”

Well you have to love fertile Kim Porter’s capacity to destroy other females who get near her gravy train. She even waited out the J-Lo years and famously referred to her as “Jennifer Who? You mean his little Puerto Rican girlfriend?” Back in the days when J-Lo bestrode the globe like a Colussus, a gluteus colossus at that, she was still too small to be even noticed by Miss PorterHouse Steak.

Seems Diff Poodly needs to borrow a page from the icy cool of either Naomi or Kim … of you don’t pay these ladies …they can’t even hear what you say, little man, little Doof Piddly man.

Night time ain’t the right time for T.R. Knight. That poor little pudgy faced boy just cannot catch a break these days. Wannabee alpha males seem to thrive on the Knightly smack down. That was the oft told Knight’s tale once again – this time at the Rolling Stone/J-Timber pre-Grammy party. Yet even in this self-same party, open to Cocoon and Mickey Mouse club fans alike, Piddly Duffs could not go along to getalong. Page Six had the details

A spy said, “Puffy was supposed to sit in the same VIP area that had four tables - two were for him and two were for the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ cast. But he was very, very late, and there are a lot of ‘Grey’s’ castmembers, so T.R., Kate and Sara were at a table set up for Puffy.”

Combs’ bodyguard was a little heavy-handed.

“This guy goes up to T.R., Kate and Sara and started demanding - ‘Get out! Get out now! Move it!’ - T.R. was furious,” our spy who was in the same VIP section said.
The spy added that Combs and Knight exchanged words before the “Grey’s” cast were led away to another table.

And as we all know … exchanging words for the Grey’s Anatomy cast is half a step away from a throwdown and rehab. Chandra Wilson will beat you down with her SAG awards for a split infinitive. Katherine Heigl used to be an alien on Roswell so Duff Piddly and Co. need to watch out — she can phaser beam the heavy hands right off any bodyguards that try to mess with her buddy T.R. Another side of the controversial story was conveyed by:

a pal of Combs’ [who] said, “Listen, if they were moved, it wasn’t because Puffy told [his bodyguard to move them]. He wasn’t aware of what was going on - he had a great time and didn’t realize anyone was upset.”

This version in suspect insofar as Puffy has to date no recorded pals, a deficit of friends, but an embarrassing wealth of lackeys, yes-men and umbrella holders. The record does, however, show that he is extremely capable of being unaware of what’s going on while silmutaeously having a great time, looking like an asthmatic mole in designer shades, not realizing anyone is upset and providing actual proof J-Lo can make a good decision.

It’s the kind of effortless multi-tasking that’s made him the Puff Daddy we all P Diddy-serve.

You might have thought the fire was out under the bubbling cauldron of The Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell feud, but according to Out magazine .. fuel is being added to the fire by freelance peace negotiator and former Mrs. Trump, Ivana

The war began weeks ago when Trump pardoned Miss USA, who had allegedly been indulging in some bad behavior, and Rosie questioned why Trump should be a moral compass for the country—it just got worse from there. Ivana says she had words for both Ro and The Donald. “I was very diplomatic and at the end of the day, I said, ‘You know, guys, just take the high road, it is so ridiculous,’” Ivana told AP Television.

So where was this second Camp David held … on what hallowed go round did Ivana gather these warring factions to broker a peace that will finally hold ? Will our children have a chance grow up in a world without Ro-Do conflict ?

The Answers: Nowhere at all … and not very likely … as she gave both Ro and Do this advice via her column in The National Enquirer. And she not only has advice … she has analysis

“Donald and Rosie, they’re getting fantastic ratings, they’re getting publicity, they’re really using it as a marketing tool, not because they are enemies, and I understand that only too well.”

Although it strikes me that if the analysis is true … then the advice was rubbish … Ivana you gotta pick a gear and drive in it … its either the high road or fantastic ratings. Wonder which side she’ll come down on.
