Today’s NY Post is reporting that Pamela Anderson filed for divorce from Rick Salomon after two months because he went into a jealous rage after seeing pictures of her canoodling with slimy magician Criss Angel. The National Enquirer reports that these two careened toward inevitable splitsville after being unable to agree on the subject of their joint reality show, a rumor that Anderson has tried to quash. Which was it? I bet it was a little bit of both mixed up with a lot of immaturity.

Here is the NY Post’s take on their breakup, which is now temporarily on hold as they try to put the sharp tiny pieces of their fragile relationship back together: (Which would make their hands bleed, but I’m only going so far with this metaphor.)

Spies in Las Vegas say Anderson spent Dec. 8, the night before her final performance with magician Hans Klok, “cozying up to” publicity-loving illusionist Criss Angel at club LAX. Pictures were taken, gossip was spread - and Salomon “hit the roof when he found out Pam was hanging out with Criss while he was off at a poker tournament. They had a huge fight,” and Anderson filed for divorce a few days later.

The Post quotes a friend who says that “Their relationship is so volatile [that] I’m sure this won’t be the last time [Pam] files,” but adds that she was just innocently hanging out with Criss and that nothing was going on there.

The National Enquirer’s take is that they were arguing over what focus their rumored reality show would take. Pam blogged that it was true that she was considering a reality show, but said that it would have focused on her professional life and not her family or kids or kids. Maybe that was true, but I have a tendency to believe the Enquirer’s version, because a show about Pam’s job as a magician’s assistant and celebrity who shows up to promote stuff sounds super boring:

Money is at the root of their problems, say insiders. The two have been quarreling over the details of a new reality show which will center on their lives…

Just last week the two had a huge blow-up when Rick tried to assume control over a deal for their proposed reality show, titled “Pam & Scum.” (Rick’s nickname is “Scum.”)

While Rick wanted the show to focus on his relationship with Pam and his gambling, Pam wanted their reality series to focus more on her life in Malibu with her two sons, says the insider.

“When Rick balked at that, Pam filed. She felt she was the marquee name, it was her show, and she’d do the negotiating.”

Their reality show would have been called “Pam and Scum?” That sounds so catchy and appealing.

The Enquirer article goes on to say that they agree now on the subject of the reality series after Rick gave in to Pam’s ideas about how it should center only on her, and that they’re trying to get the E! Channel to pick it up.

Maybe E! passed, or maybe the show is still happening and Pam wants to keep it under wraps by denying it. We’ll have to see what happens.

Pam admitted that her relationship with Rick started when she had sex with him to pay off a $250,000 poker debt, so it’s not like they had the most auspicious beginning. She seems like the type who can’t handle normal relationship problems and just wants to get the hell out as soon as she faces any sort of challenge with her mate. In that case maybe she should get divorced - and never marry again. That way, she can walk away whenever she wants. If she was just leaving boyfriends and not husbands she wouldn’t get as much publicity though, so she probably would rather get divorced again and reap all the headlines that go along with it. As it is we’re talking about her and all she’s done lately is work on a Vegas magic show and star in “Blond and Blonder.”

X17 has the questionable text messages that Tony Parker supposedly sent French model Alexandra Paressant, who claims that she hooked up with the basketball player and husband of Eva Longoria for sex sessions at hotels after he was married. Paressant was possibly inventing her story for publicity, but she gets credit for making it funny as hell. She claimed that Parker was looking for a release outside his marriage because Eva Longoria doesn’t let him do certain things in the bathroom bedroom and that she “does not want to make love in front of a mirror, does not like [a] certain position and thinks that sperm gives acne.”

Paressant’s claims to X17 are accompanied by various scantily-clad pictures of the model in sexy poses. Eventually she provided the supposed text messages from Tony and her only other “proof” of their relationship was that they were friends on MySpace. There are four text messages proported to be from Parker sent on two separate days in which he tells her in French to meet him or call him.

At first I thought that the messages were fake because commentors on X17 note that all feature the same “time stamp” in the upper right hand corner. That’s the current time shown on the phone when the photos of the phone were taken, though, and not the time stamp of the messages. The time stamp and dates on the messages makes them seem possibly real, although it’s quite easy to fake text messages. It’s also pretty lame that she said they’re friends on MySpace, that’s desperation talking.

As we noted in our earlier post about Parressant, she also claims to have bedded Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho before the World Cup last year, which he lost due to poor performance. Ronaldhino is suing Parressant for defaming his public image. The article I found about it makes it seem as if they did have an actual relationship, but that Ronaldhino is pissed that the woman made him seem like a sucker to the press.

The video of Paressant on X17 makes her seem like she’s super arrogant and I have a tendency not to believe her, but Parker does go for the obnoxious full-of-shit type. She is getting sued for prior claims, but she was apparently the girlfriend of the sports star she made them against. The verdict is still out on this one.

Tony Parker and Eva Longoria’s rep have denied that this story is true, and the newly-married couple issued a joint statement yesterday in which Tony suspiciously didn’t deny the woman’s claims. He just said “I love my wife. She’s the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier.” For her part Eva said that “Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband.”

Angelina Jolie is said to have caused a lot of tension at home when she let the news drop that she would make a guest appearance on her ex husband, Jonny Lee Miller’s new series on ABC “Eli Stone.

Brad got super pissed and she decided to cancel her plans, but not after he let her have it. He was said to be pretty upset that she would make a career decision like that without consulting him, and thinks it was hypocritical of her. If Brad wanted to work professionally with Aniston, Angelina would never allow it:

Angelina’s ex, Jonny Lee Miller, stars in the new ABC drama series, “Eli Stone,” and she had consented to appear on the show.

“Brad really blew up when she casually mentioned that she was, as she put it, ‘helping Jonny Lee out,’” an insider told The Enquirer.

“Angelina usually discusses with Brad every role she takes before committing to it - so it was a double breach of trust.

“Brad has always been leery of Angelina’s special relationship with Jonny Lee, and it really galled him that Angie went behind his back and agreed to the role.

“As a result, Brad exploded, and it really caused a rift between them.”

This could be totally untrue, because the gossip magazines have to manufacture shit about these two every week in order to move copies. Unlike the other usually-vague stories about how they’re fighting or jealous or whatever, this seems possible, but I’m doubtful.

Miller is Angelina’s first husband and they are still friendly from most reports. Brad doesn’t seem like the jealous type, but it would probably really annoy him if Angelina wanted to appear on her ex’s show. You know the tabloids would have a field day with that, since they jump on every little crumb you feed them and turn it into a meal big enough to feed the gossip-hungry masses.

Angelina has called divorcing Jonny “probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever done,” but to me it seems like her biggest mistakes are the things she says rather than what she does. If only she would give vague interviews I think she would avoid a lot of trouble. And isn’t it a sign of maturity to be friends with your exes?

There was a story last week that five month’s pregnant Halle Berry suspected her longterm boyfriend and the father of her baby, model Gabriel Aubrey, of cheating on her. It was mentioned as an aside in a longer article about how Halle was planning on raising her baby alone. She is said to want to stay in LA while Gabriel wants to live in New York for his career:

The plan is for Halle to remain in California while Gabriel will live in New York, according to [an] insider.

“Halle says Gabriel is helping her in every way possible with the pregnant, but she confided that she thinks he is seeing somebody. She also divulged that Gabriel doesn’t want money from her - the baby was produced out of love…”

A rep for Halle denies that the star is planning to raise her baby alone.

Halle has made no secret of the fact that she has soured on marriage after two failed attempts. She has vowed never to get married again, and recently told Oprah that it’s not necessary for her to have a commitment.

If there was any trouble between Halle and Gabriel she seems to be trying to patch it up. There’s news that she’s purchased an expensive car for her younger lover. And contrary to the National Enquirer’s account, Star Magazine says that Gabriel really wants to marry Halle and that she’s the one who doesn’t want the legal commitment, not him:

Gabriel has wanted to marry Halle since they found out she was expecting, says an insider, but Halle’s vowed never to wed again. The 41-year-old actress bough Gabriel, 31, the car as a way of showing she loves him without a ring. Her baby’s daddy received a fully loaded S600 sedan that lists for more than $150,000.

Star’s version of the story, that Gabriel wants to get married and Halle doesn’t, sounds more likely to me. At least it’s based on the actual detail that she bought him a car. There was a story back before Halle got pregnant that she took Gabriel to Restoration Hardwear and made him pick up a bunch of stuff and pay with his own credit card. She’s the earner in the relationship, though, and it sounds like she doesn’t mind covering the tab when it really counts.

I really can’t stand Rachael Ray, so I’m going to be upfront and let you know that this entire article will be tinged with my bias. It’s not like she’s a bad person or anything – in fact she seems genuinely nice. But she takes perky beyond the point of self-control and gets all-out annoying with her peppiness. A friend of mine pointed out what a freakishly large head she has in proportion to her body. And that wouldn’t be so bothersome, except that you see the freakishly large head plastered onto every bus and subway station from New York to San Francisco. I’m surprised they could even fit her it on the side of a bus – I doubt the real thing could fit in there.

Rachael Ray’s marriage has been plagued by rumors of trouble pretty much since day one. Unsettling, no? Well generally you’d think “Oh, The National Enquirer just picks on her.” But it turns out they had some pretty good evidence – Rachael’s husband, John Cusimano, reportedly has a major foot fetish. Just click the link; I don’t want to write about that stuff again. I’m not judging, I swear. Just don’t make me think about it. Apparently Ray freaked out a bit during a taping of her show and started telling the audience that her marriage was fine, and she was sick of people gossiping about it.

During a taping of her talk show Wednesday, the normally bubbly cook said that constant reports about the state of her marriage to John Cusimano are starting to upset her, an observer tells PEOPLE. “Everybody gossips … but this stuff is hurting people’s feelings who are in our families and friends of ours,” Ray told the audience on the show, set to air Friday. “They worry about us… there’s always someone that’s going to be telling stories behind your back, but this is too much… the tabloids won’t stop printing this junk until people stop buying it.”

A spokesperson for Ray confirms to PEOPLE that she spoke about the tabloid rumors, and adds, “Rachael and John have never been happier.” According to another source, during a recent appearance in New York to promote her newly released cookbook Just in Time, Ray was asked multiple times by fans if her marriage was in trouble. “John actually showed up at the book signing and they looked very much in love,” says the source. “I bet she finally decided she needed to let her fans know she was alright and that the lies being written about her were just that, lies.”

You know I hate to point this out, but just because John has a foot fetish doesn’t mean there’s trouble in their marriage. Rachael could be totally fine with it. For all we know, she could be into it too. Ew. There’s something about her that’s just so wholesome that it feels really inappropriate to talk about that. But it seems like all of the rumors of trouble are based on the foot love, and if that’s all there is, they could be totally fine. A little disgusting, but fine.

New dad and NFL star Tom Brady and his girlfriend, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, may be on the outs. The two were seen having a public spat in NY over lunch, with Gisele walking out, looking pissed.

The pair were dining at Extra Virgin in New York City when things turned sour on October 8. “She was clearly more upset than he was,” says an eyewitness. “She got up from the table and stormed out, leaving him sitting there.”

Along with that argument, there’s more evidence that Bundchen is upset with Brady. She is said to be livid over the fact that he sent flowers to his ex girlfriend and the mother of his baby, Bridget Moynahan. Bundchen is even said to have called Brady a “wuss” over the incident and to have postponed their planned wedding:

The couple’s relationship has been strained since the New England Patriots quarterback began having a “sudden attack of conscience” about breaking up with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, who gave birth to his son, John, in August, say sources.

Gisele berated Tom for his concern about Bridget, calling him a “wuss!”

“First, Tom told Gisele that he was upset about Bridget doing an interview about having their child because she didn’t tell him about it. Then, Gisele discovered that Tom sent Bridget flowers congratulating her on the article! a close source told The Enquirer…

Since the indicent, Gisele, 27, has been furious with 30-year-old Tom.

The two have put their plans for a winter wedding in Rome on hold, says the source.

The article goes on to talk about the same “screaming match” that In Touch reported, citing Gawker as the source.

The Enquirer mentioned that Tom sent Bridget flowers after the OK! article, and it may have been as a thank you to her. Bridget didn’t do an interview with OK! and just agreed to pose for pictures. Maybe Tom was grateful for that, and sent her the flowers because he was relieved she didn’t dish any dirt on him.

Gisele Bundchen is not know for being a super nice person, and maybe some of the luster has gone out of her relationship with Tom. Now that the dust is settling, he might be realizing that he had a pretty good thing with the mother of his child and that he gave it up for another gorgeous woman with a less gracious personality.

Star Magazine claims to have at least two “sources” that say that Portia De Rossi and Ellen Degeneres are having serious breakup-level problems at home. Their tenuous situation is said to have contributed to Ellen’s breakdown on TV over the seizure of the dog she re-gifted, Iggy:

According to multiple sources, [Ellen is] really in pain because her three-year romance with actress Portia de Rossi is all but over.

“Ellen would never have broken down like that on TV if things were right in her home life,” one source tells Star.

“Portia has been telling Ellen she’s very unhappy at home,” says a second source, who cites their 15-year age difference as one reason for Portia’s grief (Ellen is 49, while Portia is 34).

“When it comes down to it, she wants to be with someone younger and hotter,” says the source. “She wants out, but Ellen has been begging her to stay. Portia is really everything everything in this world to her…”

“She’s so terrified that she’s going to lose Portia, she just couldn’t go through with her everyday routine, especially doing the show,” says the second source. “The poor thing was so distraught, she could barely function.”

Ellen and Portia are also said to be having problems in the bedroom like a lot of couples in long term relationships. Ellen is said to be too tired when she gets home from work.

While Portia wants their love life to be more more active, Ellen is often too tired to keep up. “Her interest in sex is not what it used to be.” And that, reveals the second source, “drives Portial crazy!”

To compensate, Ellen is buying Portia expensive presents like horses, and she’s coming across as needy, which could be driving Portia away.

A friend of mine suggested it’s also possible Ellen is going through menopause. It could explain why she was so over-emotional on television over the Iggy debacle.

While it sounds like it could be true that Ellen and Portia are having problems, it’s possible that everything is fine between them and that Star is just jumping to conclusions after Ellen became so publicly emotional at the loss of her dog.

Meanwhile there is more more evidence to support Howard Stern’s claim that Ellen gave away an incredible 9 dogs that she adopted before Iggy. There was a story last week that she gave away a dog named Stormy without bothering to tell the original owners, and The Enquirer says she gave away a dog named Lucy in 2004. In Touch has her re-gifting two kittens in 2004 after signing an agreement to keep them. Ellen is said to just want to make sure animals are saved from being euthanized, and to be giving them a safe home until she finds a permanent family among her friends and contacts.

Update: If Ellen and Portia are having problems, they’re not showing it. They were out together last night at an party at the MOCA in LA, and were seen embracing and smiling on the red carpet.

Both Star Magazine and The National Enquirer are running stories this week that Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are having relationship trouble, so it must be true. Biel and Timberlake, who just went public with their relationship through a series of outings last month, are said to be fighting over Timberlake flirting with other women.

The Enquirer has him flirting with “a young beauty at a turn out the vote event on September 27,” while Star Magazine names the woman he was flirting with that night as actress Kirsten Bell. Both gossip rags have The Hills‘ Lauren Conrad making a unsuccessful move for Justin, with Jessica Biel hearing about the evening afterwards and angrily confronting him.

Supposedly Justin invited Jessica to Toronto to visit him on the set of his film The Love Guru to try and make it up to her after that had that big fight over him flirting with other women:

The trouble began at a Beverly Hills “Declare Yourself 2007″ turn-out-the-vote event on Sept. 27, where, an insider says, Justing made a beeline for Heroes cutie Kristen Bell, 27. [Jessica Biel was not there that evening.]

“He was flirting heavily and being touchy-feely with Kristen,” says the insider. “They were talking very closely and holding each others’ arms. They hung out for more than an hour, whispering and laughing with each other.”

At the same time, The Hills star Lauren Conrad, 21, was making a play for Justin’s attention, too. “Everywhere he was, Lauren popped up,” the insider adds. “I don’t think either of these women considered him to be attached to Jessica, based on their behavior. (Though Kristen and Justin were both at the event, a rep for Bell claims they’ve never met.)

When word got back to Jessica, she went ballistic. “Jess just about dumped him on the spot,” says another source. “Justin got angry and said he and Kristen were just friends - but then Jessica ripped into him, demanding to know why all his friends are women and telling him that he needs to focus on her.

“Justin yelled back, saying that’s what he’s been doing. And Jessica told him, not when he’s all over someone else!”

Star claims that Justin and Jessica patched things up during her visit to see him in Toronto, but that it’s still rough going for them since photos of the two taken on October 9 show then walking apart and looking grumpy. It seems like they could just be annoyed with paparazzi and not with each other, but it could be true that they were fighting, especially if Justin’s flirting was well known.

Jessica is supposedly looking for more of a commitment from Justin. After dating him for ten months, she is said to want him to ask her to move in with him. She is also rumored to be looking for a token of their relationship, like a “friendship ring.”

Justin might have his own reasons to be jealous of Jessica’s friends. While out at a Packer’s game, a female friend of Jessica’s was seen grabbing her butt when Justin had his back turned.

People have been whispering that Gywneth Paltrow’s four year marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is on the rocks for some time. The two haven’t been seen together at an event or family outing in quite a while and seem to be going their separate ways.

While Paltrow and Martin have said that they make a point not to go to events together and try to keep their public life out of the press, there seems to be more to it than that. Back in September it was reported that the two must be having problems because Paltrow was reluctant to talk about Martin in casual conversation.

Last week Martin attended the funeral of a family member by himself, and was seen sleeping on the deck of a ferry, looking lonesome and haggard. Martin’s 55 year-old uncle died of cancer, and he made it a point to attend his funeral, but Gwyneth and their two children, Apple, 3, and Moses, 18 months, were nowhere in sight. It’s possible that the journey was considered too difficult for the children and that Gwyneth stayed back to be with them:

The millionaire Coldplay star made the journey to St Molio’s Church in Shiskine, Blackwaterfoot without his actress wife Gwyneth Paltrow and children, daughter Apple, 3, and 19-month-old son Moses.

He told the Sunday Mail: “I’m very upset. My uncle has just died and I’ve been to his funeral. It’s very difficult.”

He had travelled from his north London home to attend the emotional event, and the rock frontman’s hit song Fix You was played during the funeral ceremony.

Martin was reported to have been close to Angus, 55, who died last Monday, months after being diagnosed with cancer.

A family friend told the Sunday Mail: “Chris had a strong bond with his uncle and he was devastated to hear of his death.

“He made a huge effort to get to Arran, taking time out from his hectic schedule, and it was well appreciated by everyone.

“He looked totally exhausted going back to the mainland on the ferry.”

Chris’s uncle Angus, a chartered accountant, had lived in Blackwaterfoot, on the west coast of the island, with wife Caroline.

On Thursday of last week Gwyneth went out to meet friends at a gallery opening for Stella McCartney’s brother and then to a casino afterwards, when Martin was presumably back home from his trip to his uncle’s funeral. Martin did not accompany her. She wore a black mini skirt and tights and rocked that terrible 60s flat parted-in-the-middle hair that she sometimes styles but refuses to cut.

They may just be busy with separate friends and projects. While Chris is hard at work on a new Coldplay album produced by Brian Eno and Timbaland, Gwyneth is working on a cooking reality series set in Spain to air next year.

Still, it seems as if something is going on with their relationship. The last time I can remember that they were out together was September, 2006 when they were partying in London with Beyonce and Jay-Z.

And to make matters worse, Martin flipped out at a Coldplay press conference in Mexico City this March when asked about Paltrow. A female reporter asked him if he planned to do a duet with Gwyneth and he shot back at her, asking what her favorite sexual position was, as if the two questions were equivalent. Why was he so touchy about it?

They’re both still wearing rings, though.

Nick Cannon (of “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and “Drumline” fame) has broken up with his abso-freaking-lutely beautiful Victoria’s Secret model fiancé, Selita Ebanks. She’s one of those models that is gorgeous but not in a slutty way. Such a shame. Maybe is she looked more like a skank, he would have stayed with her (you’ll have to forgive me; I’m having bitter man issues today).

“Nick Cannon and Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks have called off their engagement and split up, Ebanks’s rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. ‘Selita and Nick are taking a break to focus on their careers but still very much love each other and remain the best of friends,’ says her rep, Melissa Raubvogel. Cannon’s rep declined to comment.

“The breakup comes just five months after the Drumline actor made a proposal that lit up New York’s Times Square – literally – as he asked Ebanks to marry him with the help of a jumbotron. By August, Cannon, 26, was more measured when it came to nailing down wedding details, telling PEOPLE, ‘We haven’t really talked about a lot of that stuff. You’ve got to take it slow.’

“As for Ebanks, 24, she said earlier in the summer that the pair had some fundamental differences between their ideal ceremony. ‘He’s all about the bling and having a big wedding. Me? I’m all about the courthouse.’”

Okay first off, the jumbotron? You’re a semi-famous C-list type star, you’ve at least got a couple million to your name, and you propose on the jumbotron in Times Square? I can think of few places as unromantic as Times Square, and few visuals as unappealing as jumbotron. That must have been so romantic, as she’s stepping out of the cab, horns blaring, into a pool of gum and vomit. Cannon takes her hand, and a bum starts screaming at them. Then she arcs her head upward to look at the jumbotron, and he drops to one knee, realizes his pant leg is now soaked in urine, and then asks Selita to marry him. Sounds like it got off to a great start.

I’m not sure that I buy the notion that he wanted a big, blinging wedding while she wanted the courthouse. That sounds like something someone would say so that she could have the big, tacky wedding and not be labeled Bridezilla. But like I said, I’m having a bitter man day, so don’t listen to me. Listen to the girl who got proposed to with vomit on her shoe. I assume.
