Paris Hilton might want to rethink her paparazzi-friendly living arrangements. Her boyfriend, Cy Waits, was attacked outside of a court appearance where they were to testify against a guy who broke into Paris’ house last August wielding two knives. (TMZ has video of the incident, and it’s not as dramatic as it sounds in the story below.) The attacker was another stalker of Paris’, not the defendant, and he smacked Waits in the head and was promptly restrained and arrested. The guy claimed to be there to propose to Paris, who said she recognized him as someone who was arrested on her property late last year. So Paris had to see two stalkers in one day. She does have security at her house, and she had a bodyguard with her who restrained the guy until police could get there.

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits had a scary incident before they entered a Los Angeles County court Wednesday afternoon and RadarOnline was there to witness what happened.

As the couple walked into a Van Nuys, Ca. court, a man took a swing at the pair, and landed a punch on the back of Cy’s head. Cy was stunned by the hit but continued into the courthouse, protecting Paris.

Paris’ bodyguards, though recognized the attacker and jumped into action. The man in question, James Rainford, was arrested last October when he rode his bike through the gates of Paris’ luxury Beverly Hills community, in a failed attempt to see her.

As RadarOnline reported at the time, he was subsequently ordered to perform community service and was placed on three year’s probation.

Paris instantly wrote on Twitter about what happened today. “That other psycho intruder just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house. So scary!”

Paris is in court to testify against another man, Nathan Parada, who is charged with breaking into her home with a large knife in his possession when Paris’ boyfriend, Cy Waits, held him at gunpoint until cops arrived. If convicted of the felony burglary charge, Parada could get six years in state prison.

Poor Paris, it must be hard to tell the stalkers apart from the paparazzi. Only the real crazies with the knives and the marriage proposals stand out from the pack.

Remember last week, when actress Sara Salahi called out Paris Hilton via Twitter for almost hitting her with her car and supposedly running a stop sign? Well Paris told Extra that she wasn’t even driving that day. That sounds like the time she claimed that someone stole all the thoughtful gifts she purchased for her mom for Mother’s Day. So convenient. To be fair to a woman who doesn’t deserve it, there are a lot of skinny bird-faced women in LA with fake hair. There’s only one that drives a pepto bismol pink Bentley with custom license plates, though, so I think Paris is probably super identifiable when she’s driving.

A few days ago, Us Weekly reported that Jessica Biel and Gerard Butler might be starting some kind of torrid, grunting, bland affair. Well, they actually claimed that Gerard was all over Jessica and that she just wanted to be friends, insinuating that Gerard is pining away for her or something. Many predicted this turn of events – it’s a really obvious move by Jessica’s publicity team, hoping to encourage this image of Jessica as a sexy, fun girl who would attract the attention of a notorious ladies’ man like Gerard. Because her standard image is of a desperate, clingy, psycho stalker who hangs onto whatever A-list guy she can find. And while Gerard might aim low, so to speak, for the easy pickings like Jessica, he’s not pining away for anybody (except me, right?). Anyway, now People Magazine is even getting in on the mutterings about Biel and Butler:

Newly single Jessica Biel and new Playing the Field costar Gerard Butler were sharing dinner (literally!) while on a break from shooting their new movie in Shreveport, La. The two were eating at Tokyo Japanese Restaurant along with other members of their cast and crew. Butler ordered a green tea, and mostly picked off of Biel’s plate, the restaurant’s hostess tells us. But the social actor made the rounds, chatting up his colleagues (and fellow diners) before returning to Biel’s side.

After reports yesterday surfaced that Jessica Biel was getting her revenge flirt on with Gerard Butler, we did some digging around as to what is going down on the set of Playing the Field. Jess and Gerry are filming together in Louisiana and have been seen out flirting on four occasions, according to Us Weekly. So is it lust, love or both?

According to set sources, nothing has happened between the two (yet).

“They have never had dinner alone,” dishes an insider in Louisiana. “They are always in a crew of people on the film.”

Still, that doesn’t mean these two hotties couldn’t sneak away, right?

“There is no romance or relationship,” insists the source.

A rep for Biel did not return our calls for comment. Got it.

Just saying, if Jess didn’t feel like resisting Gerard’s charm for too long we wouldn’t judge. Who says they need to have a relationship? Or romance for that matter. Celebs have needs too!

As we said yesterday, friends of Gerry’s said he was not looking to settle down anytime soon.

These are some new photos of Lindsay Lohan, out and about in LA yesterday. She’s still calling the paparazzi on herself, and she’s still absolutely thrilled to be photographed. I also think her busted weave is looking less busted, and blonder. I swear, she and her mother look the same age – both look like boozy floozies in their 40s, and like they have leather jackets that say “Stain’s Bitch” on them.

Anyway, there are a bunch of somewhat minor Lohan stories today. First – Lindsay’s assault victim, Dawn Chapman, released a statement saying in essence that we should all just leave poor little Lindsay alone. Yeah, Dawn got paid. Let’s see… oh, Lindsay spent some time with Jamie Lee Curtis, her “mom” from Freaky Friday. I don’t even want to think about what that conversation sounded like. Jamie: “Hey, sweetheart, how are you doing?” Lindsay: “WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT I’M FINE LEAVE ME ALONE.”

But this is the story that really made my day – so Lindsay is moving in right beside Samantha Ronson’s house in Venice Beach. And yesterday TMZ had an absolutely hilarious story about how Lindsay “didn’t know” she was moving in right beside the woman she’s been stalking for two years. And now Radar reports… wait… LMAO… that Lindsay wants to build a privacy fence around her property so that Sam won’t be able to “spy or see” Lindsay. Jesus Christ, crackhead.

Lindsay Lohan wants to build a fence so new neighbor and ex-lover Sam Ronson can’t “spy or see” what’s going on inside her rehabbed actress’ beachside home, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

Ronson was spotted looking visibly upset upon learning the Mean Girls star, 24, had moved into the Venice, California, townhouse next door from her after leaving rehab on Monday — a story first reported by RadarOnline.com.

“Trust me, it wasn’t planned,” Ronson fumed to paparazzi.

Now, RadarOnline.com has learned Lindsay is planning to build a fence between the properties, in a kind-of peace offering to the woman she dated on-and-off again from September, 2008.

Lindsay’s dad Michael was spotted at Anawalt Lumber in West Hollywood on Tuesday.

“It will give both of them some space and privacy,” one source close to Lindsay told RadarOnline.com, “and it will ensure neither of them can see or spy on each other!”

I sent out the high alert yesterday – Lindsay Lohan is back on the streets, stealin’ yo’ Gandhi quotes and clippin’ babies. You were warned. I’m surprised California hasn’t shut down already. Anyway, as was previously reported, Lindsay did not return to her West Hollywood crack den, the site of so many hustles and sleepless crack nights (and God knows what else). Instead, Lindsay moved directly into her new digs in Venice Beach. TMZ has photos here – the rental is a “3,100 sq. foot place in Venice, CA for just under $7,100 a month — and it comes with 4 bedrooms, 4 toilets and an awesome view.” But that’s not all the property offers – Stalker Lindsay also moved in next to Samantha Ronson. Oh, this is going to get GOOD.

Lindsay Lohan may be moving to a new pad — but she’s not leaving her old friends behind!

The starlet, who finished her 90-day rehab stint at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California on Monday, is leaving her old West Hollywood apartment behind for a new four-bedroom beach house in Venice, California right next door to ex girlfriend Sam Ronson!

Unfortunately for Lohan, 24, her former paramour is none too pleased with her new neighbor.

When Lohan’s dad, Michael, was moving things into her new place, “Samantha walked out of the building next door,” a source tells UsMagazine.com. “She was shaking her head and looking disgusted. She kept saying, ‘I didn’t plan it this way.’”

And while Lohan Tweeted an inspirational quote from Gandhi on New Year’s Day, writing “Today is the first day of the rest of my life,” her ex is far less thrilled with the fresh start.

When photographers asked the DJ if she had any New Year’s resolutions, she replied simply, “No. I’m too pissed off right now.”

That is incredible. I know exactly what happened. In Lindsay’s drug-damaged mind, she thought to herself, “I’ll move right beside Samantha! She’ll be so happy to be so close to me! Lindsay Lohan has a “stalker”. So she says. This stalker is apparently calling and texting her and saying “disparaging” stuff about her recovery. Okay… who was it? I know it was one of you bitches. Don’t look at me! I keep my rage at the Family Crackhead confined to these pages. Why would I call her and tell her what I think of her crack hustle when I could spend that time looking up photos of David Gandy? It was one of you bitches, I know it.

Lindsay Lohan is afraid she’s being targeted by a stalker — and the threat is so real that people at Betty Ford are taking measures to protect her … TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ Lindsay has been receiving harassing phone calls and text messages from unknown numbers — and the unidentified person behind them has been making disparaging statements about her recovery … and her family.

Even scarier, the unknown person is saying he/she knows where Lindsay is staying and is watching her.

We’re told Betty Ford officials are so concerned, they’re moving their most famous patient to a more secure, private facility.

We’re also told BF has limited Lindsay’s outings out of concern for her safety.

Gee, I wonder what other features this “more secure, private facility” has. Perhaps window bars that can easily be popped off? A fire door with a broken alarm? Does anyone else wonder if this is all some elaborate crack hustle in which Lindsay will end up “kidnapped” on Christmas Eve and “forced” to do drugs by her “stalker”? Does this stalker have a smoker’s rasp? Does the stalker smell like tequila, cigarettes and that “new lip” smell? Did the stalker leave an odd, oozing orange trail? Because if any of those things are true, the “stalker” could be anyone in the Family Crackhead.

There are two big stories about Sandra Bullock in this week’s tabloids, and both center around the fact that she’s beefed up her security lately. Let’s start with the more frivolous story, from Star Magazine, about how Sandra’s attractive bodyguard has moved in with her, making her serial cheating ex husband, Jesse James, jealous. Hypocritical much? Star does have evidence that the bodyguard is living with Sandra, as listed in court papers seeking a restraining order against her longterm stalker. Here’s Star’s report, and even if it’s purely a business relationship and they’re not living together I could see how Jessie would be jealous of the guy:

[Sandra's] handsome driver-turned-bodyguard, Damien “Showtime” Holton [has] been at [her] side since she split from her cheating ex-husband, Jesse James, in March.

Damien has been photographed numerous times over the last few months leading Sandra and her adopted 8-month-old son, Louis, a broad shoulder to lean on. And the situation is the same behind closed doors! Star has learned that Damian is living with her – and Jesse is furious over the turn of events, especially since Damian previously worked as one of his drivers!

“Jesse’s always been a superjealous guy to being with, but seeing Sandra and Damian together has really put him over the edge,” a friend tells Star. “Damian is younger, better looking and more level-headed than Jesse. Add the fact that he used to drive 18-wheelers between California and Texas for Jesse, and it’s not hard to understand why he’s seeing red.

We don’t have access to photos of Sandra out with Damian, but here’s a link to some of those pictures. (Damian is carrying her bag.) He’s a handsome guy with olive skin and a skinny goatee. He looks too young for her though and has kind of a baby face. Star notes that Damian has worked with Sandra on six films as an assistant, dating back to 2002. He’s probably more of a loyal trusted employee than any kind of romantic interest.

Gossip Cop asked Sandra’s rep about this rumor and received the response that “They’re not living together… It’s a huge lie.” Only Star had the evidence from Sandra’s July restraining order in which the box for “Lives with You?” was checked “yes” by Damian’s name, so at least we know where they got the idea.

Meanwhile The National Enquirer’s cover story is about how Sandra’s adopted baby, Louis, has been threatened by racists and extremists. This story is much more serious and I hope it’s overblown. They report that Sandra has hired 15 bodyguards, though, so she must be taking the hate mail seriously. Here’s more from the Enquirer:

Regarding this awful story, it makes me sad to think that anyone would target a helpless baby, but there are all sorts of crazies in this world. Hopefully all that increased security around Sandra will help her feel more at ease. I can’t imagine having people go after my child and my heart goes out to her. It must be so scary and heart wrenching to put up with stalkers and death threats on your children, to put it mildly.

A mentally ill man was arrested last week on Sunset Boulevard while trolling around trying to find Jennifer Aniston. Diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic Jason R. Peyton, 24, drove from Pennsylvania to California with the intent of kidnapping and marrying Aniston, according to his mother and his own statements, as outlined in a restraining order filed with the court. Aniston has never met or had any contact with Peyton, who was carrying duct tape, a “sharp object” a bag and messages for her when he was apprehended. He spent a full eight days looking for her after being able to find her home. To make matters worse, Peyton has a history of violent behavior and stalking. In 2008, he was arrested for attempting to abduct a female neighbor with whom he was obsessed. He also physically attacked his mother at least four times. He’s currently being detained on a psychiatric hold and awaiting a court hearing on August 9.

Jennifer Aniston has been granted a restraining order against a stalker suspect who’d driven cross-country to be with her in a car that had messages including “I love Jennifer Aniston” and “I love you Jennifer Aniston” carved into its hood and driver’s side door.

Unable to locate the actress’ home address, Jason R. Peyton was arrested July 15 on Sunset Boulevard hanging out and looking for her near businesses he believes she frequents. He was placed on a psychiatric hold, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

The restraining order, granted Tuesday, was based on evidence of stalking and a credible threat of violence. Court papers filed describe Peyton as “a diagnosed delusional and paranoid schizophrenic, with a history of violence and criminal harassment and stalking, including an apparent planned abduction of a former stalking victim.”

He was, the documents said, found “laying-in-wait” for Aniston in possession of …

… a sharp object, a roll of duct tape and written messages to the actress — including baby names for the child he hoped they’d have together. He allegedly believes he’s been secretly mentally communicating with her for two years.
Peyton’s parents reported him missing after he took off from his Pennsylvania around June 25, leaving a note that said he was going to California; he called his mother while he was on the road, and she contacted L.A. police after he told her he was “on a mission to go to Jennifer Aniston” and that she would “hear about it on the news.” According to court papers, he has attempted suicide at least four times; has a history of assaulting women, including his own mother, when he doesn’t get what he wants; and has been institutionalized repeatedly.

It’s not the first time Aniston has found herself in scary stalker circumstances — a homeless man jumped her fence and entered her home in August 2005, fortunately while she was away on location.

TMZ has a picture of this guy’s car, and he has “I Love Jennifer Aniston” etched into the side and “I Love You Jennifer Aniston” on the hood, which at least made him easy to find. He told officers that “Jennifer communicated to me mentally that she wants me to come and marry her, and wants me to be the father of her children. We love each other… I’m not going to stop until we meet.

In the petition requesting a three year restraining order, [available on TMZ] which was filed by a lawyer for Jennifer Aniston and signed by her, it states that “Peyton’s fixation, obsessive conduct, and stalking has caused Petitioner [Aniston] to become seriously alarmed, annoyed and harassed, and has caused her, as would any reasonable person, to suffer distress… Petitioner has become seriously alarmed and has real and reasonable fears for her safety, and that of her friends, representatives, and those around her.”

The petition even includes a personal statement from Aniston, which states, in part, “Mr. Peyton’s on-going, ever-increasing, aggressive and harassing conduct are extremely distressing. I fear for my personal safety, and that of those around me.”

That’s so scary and I hope that Aniston can find some consolation that the guy is in custody. From what I know she has no personal security team (although it’s hard to tell – we rarely see clear paparazzi photos of her lately) and maybe she’ll hire protection for her own peace of mind.

The man who stalked and videotaped ESPN anchor Erin Andrews has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison and ordered to pay a total of $12,366 in restitution. Andrews, 31, was victimized by 48 year-old insurance executive Michael Barrett, who booked hotel rooms next to her in three or more states, often filming her covertly from peepholes. His video of the sportscaster nude was initially pitched to adult websites and became an Internet sensation. In a statement to the court, Andrews said that the video will probably always be available online and that she is still “being victimized every day.” She said that she has nightmares and anxiety and has had to hire security for protection.

A Chicago-area man who posted a nude video of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews on the Internet – after filming her through her hotel door – was sentenced to federal prison Monday.

Michael David Barrett, 49, of Westmont, Illinois, received a 2 1/2-year term and was ordered to pay $7,366 in restitution to Andrews, who is also a contestant this season on Dancing With the Stars.

Barrett admitted that he stalked Andrews for 18 months, tracking her to at least three different hotel rooms in three states in 2008. He made the video after removing the peephole from her door in one of the hotel rooms and used his mobile phone to capture video of Andrews while she was naked.

At the hearing, Andrews told U.S. District Judge Manuel L. Real of the fear, anxiety and public humiliation that she suffers as a result of having been stalked.

“I’m being victimized every day … and I did nothing to deserve it,” she said, adding the videos will likely always be on the Internet. Real noted that Andrews will suffer for the rest of her life.

Prosecutors told the court that Barrett posted on the Internet another 32 videos that showed another 16 as-yet-unidentified victims.

Radar Online has more of Andrews’s statement along with Barrett’s statement to the court. They also have a video of her press conference after the hearing. She said she’s pleased with the judge’s ruling given the parameters he was working with but that she would have liked a longer sentence. Andrews also emphasized that Barrett had many other victims. She said she received “A ton of letters from victims of stalking and video voyeurism that said ‘please fight this.” She also emphasized that she’s still dealing with the trauma from being violated. “Google my name, see what happens… I didn’t deserve this… The 16 other women [Barrett victimized]… didn’t deserve this.‘”

Can you imagine finding nude videos of yourself online and having no idea at first who recorded them? I really hope that Andrews’s civil lawsuit is successful, although it’s likely that the guy is completely broke now and won’t be able to pay much her more than the $7,366 dollars he was ordered to, if that.

After all that Andrews has gone through, she has something positive to look forward to. She’ll be a contestant on the upcoming season of Dancing with The Stars, which starts airing next Monday, March 22.

How are we feeling about Josh Duhamel these days? Like he’s one of the lucky bastards whose wife “forgave” him for his affair with a $10 stripper? That Fergie should have kicked him to the curb for his epic, pr0n-filled seduction? Yeah, that’s how I feel. But Fergie forgave him and they renewed their vows and so everything is okay, right? And so no one even has to ask Josh about the stripper, right? Why would we need that? Thus, Josh Duhamel’s interview in Parade Magazine this week. There are only quotes about how he fell in love with Fergie and how he “stalked” her. What a prize! Although I do think the Parade interviewer came close to asking about the stripper with the subheadline “Acting advice from a pro”.

At least we think he’s kidding.
“The joke in When in Rome is that all these guys are stalking Kristen Bell’s character because she grabbed the coins they threw into a fountain in Rome. I could relate. That’s how I got my wife. I literally stalked her for weeks until she said yes. They say it’s not stalking if she says yes.”

But seriously, did he and Fergie have instant chemistry?
“I’m not a huge believer in love at first sight, but I think that when it is right, often it’s somebody that you had that feeling about when you first met them. I think anytime you get into a relationship, you think ‘This is the one.’ But it’s good to wait it out, dig a little bit deeper, and over time you find out if you’re with the person that’s right, the one you really love.”

On the first take, I literally went right over the car and fell on my neck. They almost stopped it right there. On the take that they used I actually broke the windshield. That was really me, folks, not some stunt guy.”

Acting advice from a pro.
“I did a scene in Las Vegas where I had to kick the crap out of this guy. So I went to Jimmy Caan, who was playing my dad, and said, ‘Do you have any suggestions?’ He went into this whole thing like, ‘Don’t be afraid to just kick him below the belt. This is the guy who killed your best friend, so don’t be afraid to punch him, choke him, do whatever you have to do.’ I said, ‘So should I take a garbage can lid and beat him over the head with it?’ He goes, ‘Yeah, if you can find one.’”

Playing the fame game.
“There’s a lot more focus on celebrities and it takes an incredible amount of moral strength to persevere through all the attention. There’s a few stars I kind of aspire to be like. Tom Hanks, for instance, is somebody who’s really been able to stand his ground. And Paul Newman was a guy who was married since he was in his 20s. And, of course, there’s Jimmy Stewart. Before the cheating scandal, I used to think Duhamel was a pretty inoffensive, unobtrusive guy. Maybe that’s what he’s trying to get back to. I’m not sure how claiming to be a stalker helps, but maybe he’s trying to convince us that he really does love Fergie…? Maybe? I do know that being game enough to wear a pretty tiara certainly helps. Maybe I see why Fergie forgave him.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are parents with a predictable schedule and a ton of paparazzi who follow them everywhere. If you watch videos of them dropping their older daughter Violet off at school, they’re surrounded by photographers. No wonder they often look annoyed when they’re out together – they’re being tailed by people shouting rude things. I’m hoping that the new paparazzi law in effect in LA this January, which makes it a crime to “take and sell unauthorized photos of celebrities in ‘personal or familial activity’” will help them get some relief from the constant surveillance.

To make matters worse for the Afflecks, Garner has a stalker who has been trailing and threatening her for seven years. She obtained a restraining order against the weirdo last year, but he still turned up outside her daughter’s school yesterday. Steven Burky was arrested Monday for violating that restraining order by being near Garner. Radar has his mugshot and he looks creepy as hell.

Jennifer Garner’s stalker, Steven Burky, was arrested Monday for violating a court order and stalking while violating a court order after he was found to be near Garner’s daughter Violet Affleck’s school.

Garner was granted a restraining order against Burky in November 2008. Burky was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Garner, her husband Ben Affleck and their daughter Violet, as well as being prohibited from contacting Garner in any way.

Garner claimed Burky had been stalking her since 2002, following her around the country and sending her packages and letters. At the time the order was granted Garner wrote in court papers, “This past year, Mr. Burky has resurfaced and his obsessive and harassing behavior has escalated to the point of becoming dangerous and threatening.

“He has now shown up at my private residence and has repeatedly expressed his belief that God has sent him a vision of me being persecuted in some manner that might result in my death.”

That guy looks like a serial killer, right? I would be so scared for myself and my family. It’s to Garner’s credit that she’s handling everything with grace and just trying to maintain a sense of normalcy for her daughters. Garner and Affleck are swarmed by paparazzi in LA, but if she’s also being stalked by a potentially violent creep she does have the security that goes along with being hounded by a ton of photographers. In a recent interview in W Magazine, Garner discussed potentially moving her family out of LA to avoid the media circus. “We talked forever about leaving Los Angeles, but anywhere you go some dodo is going to buy a camera and start following you.” Or there could be one really scary guy and no one else around to help.

Maybe it’s time that the Afflecks hired a bodyguard. Kate Gosselin has a bodyguard for no apparent reason. It’s not like there are tons of fans trying to get a piece of that beaver hair. The Afflecks have a very good excuse and a pretty scary situation to deal with.
