This story came out a couple of days ago, and we considered covering it then. I kind of pushed it to the back of my mind and in the interim I’ve seen a ton of stories about Teresa. She seems to be everywhere, and she’s still earning tabloid covers that I’m convinced are bought and paid for by Bravo. (Full disclosure: none of us watched the current fourth season of RHONJ. I have seen the first season and part of the second.)

As you may know, Teresa was in a feud with her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, after Teresa tried to claim Melissa used to be a stripper. I feel like we’ve been hearing this story for months, and we basically have, but the episode finally aired where Teresa confronted Melissa. (Supposedly Melissa did work at a gentleman’s club but just as a bartender for a week only.) That was the season finale on Sunday and we still have the crazy screaming reunion to look forward to. So now Melissa and Teresa hate each other more than they used to. Teresa is also fighting with fellow castmember Jacqueline Laurita, I guess over this whole strippergate fiasco along with the fact that Teresa is a narcissistic combative bitch. Teresa told Anderson Cooper that Jacqueline is texting her so much lately she may “go to the cops” while Jacqueline tweeted in response that “Teresa shouldn’t go on TV to say I’m threatening her unless she wants a defamation suit against her.” Jacqueline later backed down and tweeted that she was “having a moment. It’s all good now.”

So what is going to happen with Teresa, the one who freaks out and schemes and fights the most? The one whose husband is basically a mobster, who has served jailtime, who cheats on her, and who has defrauded creditors by filing for bankruptcy and hiding assets while continuing to live large? She’ll probably get a spin off of course, since she knows how to bring the drama:

Always feuding with someone — most recently fingered by Jacqueline Laurita for exposing Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga’s alleged stripper past — Teresa and her husband Joe have tackled run-ins with the law, bankruptcy, cheating scandals and plenty of public backlash.

“All the drama and crazy things that Teresa and Joe have done is what makes them perfect candidates for their own breakout show,” a source close to the situation exclusively tells RadarOnline.com.

“They’re in talks right now and the show would include the whole Giudice side of the family, which would explain why we saw more of Joe’s brother Pete and his wife Sheila in last Housewives season.”

However, the source notes one large hiccup that could put a kink in the Giudice’s plan; Joe’s impending fraud charges that he’s facing up to 10 years in prison for.

Joe will stand trial for fraudulently obtaining a phony driver’s license after he was accused of using his brother’s identification to get a new license when his own was suspended due to a DUI.

“With Joe’s possible jail time they’re trying to iron out how this show would work, but they’re definitely pushing forward on it,” the insider said.

The source says Bravo has exhausted all the drama they can get out of the current New Jersey cast, so their best option is a spin-off with the popular characters.

“People are starting to bore with the same old cat fights every episode so they need to change it up,” the source said.

“And those Giudices will do anything to earn a dollar!!!”

I could go into all the reasons why this is wrong, but I pretty much explained it all in the intro. Hopefully this will fall through and the Giudice’s infamy will run its course. These shows wouldn’t exist and we wouldn’t talk about them without people like Teresa. I’m surprised to know they exist.

We’ve heard of several shakeups on the Real Housewives series. A couple of weeks ago the news came out that Jill Zarin, Cindy Barshop, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord had been fired from the “Real Housewives of New York.” It’s clear that producers want to bring in new blood to fuel fresh conflicts. I think McCord summed up the series best when she said “If people continue to behave in a way that’s shocking, then how can it do anything but get darker… It’s gotten more and more toxic.”

Now there’s news that Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita has been fired from the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Of course they were, they were the most level-headed and likable castmembers on that show.

Just weeks after we broke the news that Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord were fired from “The Real Housewives of New York,” we can exclusively reveal that Bravo is discussing making some big changes with the cast of the New Jersey “Housewives” franchise, cutting both Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo from the show.

“Jacqueline and Caroline were told months ago that they wouldn’t be returning for a fifth Season if they didn’t bring the drama,” a network insider tells me. “This season has been dominated by Melissa [Gorga] and Teresa [Giudice] drama and season four, that they are filming right now, is going to be no different.”

Manzo, who has served as the voice of reason among the group since day one, has always refused to be involved in any of the set up drama that has translated into huge ratings for the show. Similarly, Laurita’s entire story line, which involved her troubles with her daughter Ashley, has disappeared following Ashley’s departure from the show.

“Producers have been showing all the ladies private footage of what they have all been saying behind each others’ backs hoping to bring Jacqueline and Caroline into the drama,” an insider tells me. “But so far, they have kept their cool on camera and saved the drama for Twitter, not TV.”

Laurita also refused to attend the reunion taping for the season currently airing, further hurting her chances of being invited back after she completes the next three weeks of filming for the upcoming season.

“Jacqueline refused to come out of her house the day of the reunion taping,” an insider tells me. “Bravo’s car sat in the driveway all day and she just refused to leave her home even if it meant she was violating her contract.”

However, unlike the fired New York ladies, this parting appears to be mutual. Manzo’s sister and Laurita’s sister-in-law, Dina Manzo, told me just a few weeks ago that other women currently on the show were not having fun anymore and might follow her lead and say goodbye.

I’ve watched RHONJ in the past, but haven’t been keeping up with it this season. From what I’ve read there’s been drama over Melissa Gorga being accused on the show of having a past as a stripper, which Jacqueline objected to and claimed was a setup by Gorga’s enemy, her sister-in-law Teresa Guidice. (These two articles have the background on that.) Jacqueline later called Teresa “scum” on Twitter, and is said to have leaked the photo of Teresa’s husband at dinner with another woman as payback. Then Jacqueline refused to attend the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, so word is that she quit Real Housewives, not that she was fired.

As for this story that Caronline and Jacqueline couldn’t “bring the drama,” I’m more interested to what this reveals about the entire franchise. I’ve mentioned that I don’t watch it anymore after Russell Armstrong of RHOBH killed himself and the show continued to chug along with its excesses and in fighting, giving little attention to Russel’s death and continuing to air the scenes where his now widow was distraught in the weeks leading up to it. This just brings it home to me that the show is almost entirely manufactured, which I have no problem with when it comes to regular dramas or soap operas, but these are real people who are getting hurt. We may not like them, but that doesn’t make it right. Good for Jacqueline for standing up for herself.

Update: Bravo denies that either Manzo or Laurita is off the show. They issued a statement that read, in part, “All five cast members will be featured on season four.”

It was less than a month ago that Real Housewives of New Jersey’s combative overspending narcissist Teresa Giudice, 39, had a second wedding with her husband at a castle, complete with a $25,000 wedding gown and a carriage ride. The affair was photographed and detailed in an In Touch cover story, and I can’t imagine it was a big seller for them. Given the fact that this couple is in bankruptcy, has had portions of their tacky mansion sold off, and is accused of stiffing creditors, it was ridiculous that they would throw a wedding like that, but that’s the Giudices. They’re always fighting, buying useless tasteless crap and wasting other people’s money. Husband Joe is also in no way faithful to Teresa despite her attempts to make their marriage look solid by throwing showy wedding. We’ve heard rumors that Joe has a love child, and now he’s been photographed out with another woman having an intimate dinner at TGI Fridays. At least he’s not blowing too much cash on his side piece. Here’s a report on that sighting from Radar, which has a photo of Joe with the other woman on their site:

Tuesday night in Clifton, New Jersey, Bravo reality star Joe Giudice was spotted out dining with a woman who was definitely not his wife.

“I was in the T.G.I. Fridays and saw Joe and this woman who was NOT Teresa having a drink in a booth by the bar,” eyewitness Erin exclusively told RadarOnline.com.

“They were drinking martinis and when the woman finished hers she took a sip out of Joe’s glass too. They looked like they were having a good time together and laughing with each other.”

After a waiter brought them wet naps the woman opened hers and “wiped Joe’s hands off with hers,” Erin said. “It was really intimate to see her touching his hands like that.

“They looked very comfortable and cozy together.”

The brunette woman was wearing a white top, carried a Louis Vuitton purse and according to Erin she “appeared to be in her late 20s or early 30s.”

Despite recently renewing their vows, the couple, who has four children, has been going through a rough patch and some reports said the renewal ceremony was just for show.

While her husband was having a cocktail with another woman 30 miles away, Teresa was hard at work at the Posche fashion show at the Son Cubano restaurant and Tom Murro provided the photo of her sitting with co-star Kathy Wakile at the event.

“I don’t think divorce is an option, unless it’s over something horrible like cheating,” Teresa said in a recent interview. “Not every day is perfect, but you try to make it as perfect as you can.”

This chick better watch it, because Teresa will put the smack down on her in the blink of an eye. We’ve seen her in action and she just goes for blood right away. She’s always fighting with someone, and has been shown feuding with her sister-in-law on the show and most recently with a new woman on the show called Monica Chacon. There was apparently a fight between Monica and Teresa in the bathroom at the Porsche Fashion show earlier this week. That’s Teresa, always keeping it classy. I just feel for Joe and Teresa’s kids. It’s obvious that they’re affected by their trainwreck parents, particularly their nine year-old daughter, Gia, who sang a sad song at her sister’s birthday party about how she wishes her dad and uncle would stop fighting.

Inside, there’s barely a mention of the couple’s massive financial problems and their compulsive overspending, typified in this ridiculous show of the wealth they’ve stolen from the creditors they’re now stiffing. The article is all about how their vow renewals are a new beginning for them, and how Teresa trusts and loves Joe despite his verbal abuse, which was shown on Real Housewives of New Jersey. Just as there’s no mention of their bankruptcy and Joe’s shady mafia business, there’s no mention of his rumored cheating, either. It’s like the story is straight from Teresa, similar to other stories we’ve seen in In Touch. I’ll include a little bit here, but I want to focus more on the showy vow renewal they had.

Teresa insists that Joe is Prince Charming. And recently, she set out to prove it – with a fairy-tale-themed second wedding at Long Island, NY’s Oheka Castle, which included everything from a horse-drawn carriage to a tearful renewal of their vows to an extravagant gown that was truly worthy of a princess. “I was just so happy,” Teresa tells In Touch in an exclusive interview. “Marriage means for better or worse. We’ve been through a lot, and if anything, it’s just made us stronger…

“I wanted to show my girls that marriage is really important, as is being faithful to one another,” Teresa explains. “I wanted to show our love for each other – I wanted them there to witness it.”

Indeed, the ceremony seemed like something tailor-made by a devoted mom to please her little girls – from the princess-like theme and the pretty pink dresses she chose for them to wear, to the huge chocolate cake and the surprise visit by tween heartthrob Kevin Jonas…

So they’re deep in dept, having just filed for bankruptcy, and are trying to stiff their creditors by hiding assets. How they hell did they pay for this? Did they get comped stuff in exchange for publicity. Did In Touch give them enough money for the photos to cover the costs? It’s possible, but I can’t see how In Touch ever recouped that in increased sales or anything. This family is a trainwreck but I doubt anyone bought this issue for the trashy Giudices.

In terms of the relationship between Joe and Teresa, I haven’t watched the show in a while and I don’t feel qualified to comment on it. He strikes me as an asshole and she’s a dumb shrill bitch, so maybe they’re perfect for each other. I guess Joe bellowed at Teresa on the show recently that he had dumped her back when they were dating and she “came crawling back.” Teresa defended him in this article and said “He was drunk, in his own home and upset. I get where he is coming from… You really have to know him to know it’s not malicious.” Kaiser says she’s seen some of it recently and that Joe hates Teresa’s family, is fighting with her brother and wants out of the marriage. It’ll be over Teresa’s dead body, judging from this story.

I only watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and have seen a few episodes of Real Housewives of New Jersey. Whenever I hear about the women on the other shows in the franchise, they’re going broke, getting divorced, and having legal trouble, sometimes all at once. This week’s In Touch has an article profiling all the Real Housewives who are deep in debt and/or bankrupt, and there are more of them than I thought. (And I read gossip for 8-10 hours a day.) There were some new ones in here, and their stories of stupidity and excess just made me shake my head. Here are the featured Housewives from In Touch, which is where the quoted text is from.

In Touch left out the brokest, scamming-est Real Housewife of all, New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice. Giudice inexplicably took their cover yet again this week, probably in some paid promotional deal from Bravo, and maybe they figured they covered enough of her there. Teresa and her husband Joe’s financial shenanigans are legion, and he basically works for the mafia while she wastes other people’s money on crap like suits of armor, mahogany furniture and everything that’

You can’t take it with you, and while it’s comforting to have nice things it’s not worth the cost of living deep in the hole. And some of these bitches have their Botoxed brows so deep in a hole that you would think they’d wise up and face reality. Not when their lavish spending is earning them fame and precious reality show minutes. If a $60k birthday party for a four year old earns ten minutes of air time does that mean it was worth it or was somehow an investment? Taylor will find out soon enough.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey are coming back next Monday May 16th. Star Teresa Giudice is doing advance publicity along with desperately trying to promote her own products. The bankrupt piece-of-work Monchichi-looking Giudice has a new cookbook with a stupid name called Fabulicious. As part of her publicity tour she’s making a stop at a club in NJ, where fans can party with her for $75 a pop.

Tacky deadbeat “Real Housewife” Teresa Giudice is making pocket change by charging her fans up to 75 bucks for the privilege of partying with her. The hot-tempered, low-brow diva — who has made headlines along with her hubby, Joe, for owing nearly $11 million to creditors — is throwing a “Season 3 premiere party” of her Bravo show in Fort Lee, NJ, on Monday. For $75, VIP ticket buyers get an hour of free drinks and hors d’ouevres at Tribecca Nightclub, plus an autographed picture with Teresa. “Teresa will be partying all night!!!,” reads a breathless invite to the fete that shows Giudice posing in front of a white stretch limo on a red carpet. A portion of the proceeds will go to charity. But she’ll also use the event to promote her “Fabulicious” cookbook. The evening’s promoters are also promising “celebrity surprises,” “fashion shows” and “star performances.”

For $75 you only get one hour of free drinks and hors d’ouevres. That’s ridiculous. I didn’t miss these people at all, especially with the much more interesting and arguably phonier Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to take their place. We heard rumors last year that Teresa was pulling a diva act with producers and might not re-sign for this season, but unfortunately she’s back and she’s kind of the star of the show now that her nemesis Danielle is off. After the Miami housewives were canceled Bravo has to fill the void and these New Jersey women are like the budget grifter version of the Beverly Hills ladies. I shouldn’t say that, because it’s Teresa who is the grifter and Jacqueline and Caroline actually seem like decent people. That’s why Teresa is the star.

Here’s Teresa on The Today Show a few days ago. She seems scared and says basically nothing except that people should watch the show when it premieres on May 16th.

This Life & Style cover story about Teresa Giudice’s jacked, womanizing husband is the opposite of shocking. According to the report, Joe Giudice has a “secret double life” that involves strippers, waitresses and hiring very unqualified, pretty young women to be on his “staff”. Wow, who could have predicted? Oh, right. Everyone. Joe Giudice is like the budget, mobbed-up version of Tiger Woods. I expect a press conference from a HoJo’s waitress at any moment.

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has stood by her husband, Joe, through a DUI arrest, eight-day jail sentence and filing for bankruptcy all while she tries to dig her family out of financial ruin. Now, Life & Style has learned that Joe has been leading a secret, double life – filled with regular visits to strip clubs.

According to a former dancer at Showoffs strip club in West Orange, N.J., Joe was a regular at the strip club before it was closed in 2006 amid accusations of prostitution.

“He was always up for a lap dance,” reveals the insider. “There was a lot of hanky-panky that went down in the club’s basement,” the insider tells Life & Style. “If you had money, you could get pretty up close and personal with the strippers.”

Joe was also allegedly a loyal patron of Latin Bar in Paterson, N.J.

“There was one particular waitress Joe really liked there,” recalls the insider. “She was from the Dominican Republic, about 5 feet tall with big breasts and long, dark hair. Joe would always make sure that wherever he was, he could be back in Paterson on a Friday night so he could see her.”

Back at his former real estate development office, Joe’s attention to the ladies also raised eyebrows. With Teresa nowhere in sight, he developed a very close relationship with a young female staffer who, says a onetime assistant, Joe suddenly hired despite the fact that she “didn’t seem qualified.”

Teresa, however, maintains that her marriage is strong. “I have a great husband,” she tells Life & Style. “I wake up every morning and I’m like, ‘Thank you, God.’”

Do you feel bad for Teresa? I do, a little. But the woman is in denial, either that or she knows all about Joe’s extracurricular hobbies and she turns a blind eye. In either case, I don’t expect anything from her other than a public show of support for Joe. I do feel for their kids though. Ugh.

In an episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe, Teresa’s gangster husband, tried to explain his DUI by claiming he ran his SUV into a pole, went to his friend’s house nearby, called the cops and did a ton of shots while they were waiting for the police to get there. It was a ridiculous explanation for why he was drunk at the scene of an accident, and Teresa, Jacqueline and Jacqueline’s husband accepted it at the time without questioning him.

When Joe was arrested for DUI, he was even turned over to a nearby police department which had other warrants out for his arrest. Joe’s license was suspended for a year after that incident, but he still thought he could drive anyway (just like Paris Hilton) and now he’s been sentenced to ten days in jail. Can’t say I feel sorry for him.

A judge sentenced Joe to ten days in prison and Joe is expected to begin his sentence next week. According to the document obtained by RadarOnline.com exclusively, he was also fined $1,000 and his license is suspended for at least another year. Oddly, the court action document does not list Giudice’s name. Sources tell RadarOnline.com that the reason for the jail time is because Joe drove with a suspended license.

In January, he was charged with driving under the influence after crashing his car into a telephone pole in Montville Township, New Jersey. He was taken to the hospital and then released to the police due to outstanding warrants. In March, he was fined $864, had his license revoked for 12 months, and was sentenced to 30 days of community service.

Joe might not be the only one going to jail. Teresa and Joe have been accused of fraud for trying to hide over a quarter million in earnings when they filed for bankruptcy protection from creditors earlier this year. Teresa is said to be so afraid of prison that she wants to drop off the show to ensure she doesn’t incriminate herself. We’ve already heard that Teresa might be leaving due to feuds with producers and the fact that her nemesis sister-in-law might earn a spot next season. Somehow she’s scored two In Touch covers this month, though. Either In Touch is sadly desperate for an exclusive or Bravo is getting some paid promotion. Either way, this woman is earning a ton of publicity for her bad behavior and she’s owning up to none of it. Just like her husband.

CB and I were slightly “stunned” to see this week’s cover of In Touch. It features RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice and her children and… um. Yes, CB and I have decided it would be best not to discuss our thoughts on the cover in general, because even though we’re bitches, we’re not the horrible monsters people would like to think. I mean… yes, Teresa is putting her children out there, in the public sphere, by putting them on the cover and thus, inviting us to comment. But I won’t take the bait! And just keep in mind, commenters, just keep your thoughts relatively nice-ish. I don’t want fifty comments criticizing these children, even if they are in the public sphere. Instead, I just choose to feel sorry for these kids. I mean, to have those parents… and to be on the cover of ITW? GOD. Poor kids. Anyway, the story:

For Teresa Giudice, the past few months have been the roughest of roller-coaster rides. Now a household name, thanks to her star-making turn on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa saw it all marred by the shock of learning that she and her husband, Joe, were $11 million in debt — and needed to file for bankruptcy.

And as if her financial turmoil wasn’t enough, the 37-year-old mom has, in recent weeks, been subject to a slew of insults and unsavory rumors — including talk that Joe has fathered a love child with her sister-in-law and an embarrassing article in Steppin’ Out magazine, in which fellow Housewife — and arch-enemy — Danielle Staub compared her physically to “Cornelius from Planet of the Apes.”

Teresa admits that, emotionally, this has been the most difficult period of her life.

“First the bankruptcy thing and then all the rumors,” she tells In Touch in an exclusive interview. “It’s like people have nothing better to do — it’s pretty sad.”

But as upset as she’s been by it all, Teresa remains strong. And she credits her four children with keeping her that way.

Question: is Teresa a good mother? I’ve only watched a few episodes of RHONJ, and she struck me as not the best mother overall, but not the worst either. Just sort of dumb, but she was trying to be involved, right? Are the kids happy? They look happy. Kind of. It’s hard to tell. Okay, I’m stopping.

Danielle Staub has been desperately trying to spin her exit from Real Housewives of New Jersey, claiming that she quit and that other networks want to offer her a spin off show on her own. Sources tell Popeater that Danielle was fired after both Caroline and Jacqueline banded together and told Bravo that if Danielle wasn’t fired they would leave. It’s still unknown who exactly will be on the show next season except that Danielle is off for sure. We’ve also been hearing rumors that Teresa will leave due to a conflict with producers over offering her nemesis sister-in-law a spot, failing to let her promote her cookbook on the air, or both.

Teresa recently told In Touch that she forgives Danielle for sending her into a screaming rage multiple times, as if it shouldn’t be the other way around. Teresa might not be so forgiving when she hears this latest news. Danielle told the super classy “Steppin Out” Magazine that she thinks Teresa is an ape. She also went on at length about Teresa’s looks and how she thinks Teresa’s husband, Joe, is cheating on her. What happened to all that crap Danielle always spews about staying positive? Radar Online has this report, and it’s pretty amusing.

RadarOnline.com has exclusive excerpts from her first post-show interview, with Steppin’ Out Magazine, including why she thinks Teresa looks like a character from Planet of the Apes!

“She needs a hairline revision,” Staub told editor Chaunce Hayden. “Planet of the Apes has nothing on her!”

Staub added, “She reminds me of Cornelius from Planet of the Apes. Could you imagine if her face is that hairy what her body hair must be like? It’s got to be out of control.”

Here’s a taste of Staub’s comments.

“I would not doubt that for a second. I hear that all the time. I was hearing those rumors before we even taped the show. Joe loves his strippers. Maybe that’s another reason Teresa hates me. She forgets I used to be a stripper. I’m not a stripper anymore. Don’t hate us all.

“If she was making Joe happy maybe he wouldn’t have to go some place else. I don’t know what goes on in their bedroom, but from what I’ve seen, Teresa is not exactly a turn on. Her forehead is disturbing. But it’s not even about her looks.

“Her personality and lack of compassion is what makes her ugly. It’s the way she speaks to her husband and overindulges her children is what makes her ugly. She’s teaching her children to be just like she is. Look at her kids. They’re gorgeous little girls, but their attitudes only show disrespect. I don’t care of that. I feel bad for them. They’re learning what they live.

“The mother is teaching them they are too good for everything except being treated like princesses. But it’s not reality. Teresa, you’re 11 million dollars in debt. How much of a princess can your kids be? Make them work. Give them structure. Her children want to be told what’s wrong and what’s right. They need boundaries and structure. That’s what I do for my kids. I give them structure and boundaries.”

“I said this from the beginning: In time everyone will be exposed. I don’t have to say anything. They’re exposing themselves. Dina is a liar. She lies and all the others swear to it. It’s almost as believable as Teresa’s husband Joe getting drunk after he had his car accident because he needed to calm his nerves. I’m very passionate about not letting him get away with that. I don’t think drunk driving is anything to be made light of. Bravo glorified it and that makes me sick.

“When Andy Cohn brought that up at the reunion and after Teresa told that crazy story he said, “Oh I can believe that.” Um… really? He smashed his car and Teresa claims ten of them shared just one bottle of wine. Meanwhile have you ever seen them without a glass of wine in their hands? But this one time they split one bottle of wine and Joe got drunk after he smashed into a telephone pole. Really?”

Danielle goes on but you get the point. I can’t wait to see Danielle’s Steppin’ Out Cover. Teresa has to be doubly pissed – she was Steppin’ Out’s freaky cover girl in April. She could definitely use a hairline revision, but Teresa needs some more hair to cover up her scary joker mug. Maybe it’s true that Teresa will be off the show soon and we won’t have to be subjected to her two-head much longer anyway.
