Gisele has already given birth! Isn’t that… really fast? I guess we’ve been warped by Jessica Simpson and Reese Witherspoon and Drew Barrymore, all of whom I could have sworn had 11-month gestation periods. Gisele never really got around to officially announcing this second pregnancy either – sometime after the Met Gala in May, “sources” merely confirmed that Gisele and Tom Brady were expecting again. So… it was all very fast. Mazel tov!

We’re told that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, welcomed their second child Wednesday night, a bouncing baby girl named Vivian. This marks the third child for Brady, who has a 2-year-old son, Benjamin, with Gisele, and a 5-year-old son, John, with actress Bridget Moynahan. Brady and Gisele confirmed they were expecting in August, and the rumored arrival came days before Ben celebrates his birthday on Saturday. There was no word on whether Gisele went with a water birth again this time. We wish the happy family the best.

Aw! I’m so glad they had a little girl this time. And I don’t hate the name Vivian either. It reminds me of Pretty Woman (Julia’s character’s name was Vivian) and of Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. I bet Tom is super-excited he got a daughter at last. And I bet she’s daddy’s little girl. Congrats to Gisele and Tom!

UPDATE: Gisele posted a photo and announcement on her Facebook – the photo is just of little Vivian’s hand, and we know the baby’s middle name now! She’s Vivian Lake Brady. Gisele’s message: “We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel. Vivian Lake was born at home on December 5. She is healthy and full of life.
Thank you all for your support and well wishes. We wish you and your families many blessings.”

These are photos of Gisele Bunchen and Tom Brady over the weekend in Miami. The pics where Gisele is wearing white skinny jeans and a beige-y sweater are from Saturday night – Gisele and Tom had dinner at Prime One Twelve in South Beach. Then Gisele was with a friend on the beach on Sunday. Gisele was definitely trying to shield her face for both incidents, and she really did NOT look happy with the paparazzi. Which makes me feel bad for her… for half a second. Yes, the paps should NOT get in her face. At all. They shouldn’t swarm any woman, especially a pregnant woman. And I don’t know if they were saying something to her, but judging from her face, I think some of them were probably yelling something rude. So, on that account, I do feel genuine sympathy for her. That being said, I don’t really understand why any of this is some big secret. She’s in Miami with her husband. She’s pregnant and she can still fit into skinny jeans. She’s not wearing any makeup and she still look great. Why does she need to go through the motions of “hiding”?

As for her pregnancy… she looks pretty far along to me. I’m trying to do the math – most people think that she was a month or two along at the Met Gala in May, which means that she’s about seven or eight months along right now. New Year’s Baby? Perhaps. She’s also staying remarkably slender all over for this, her second pregnancy. Remember her first pregnancy? She carried small for that one too, and her body bounced back in like three weeks or something. Yes, she exercises. But she also has great genes for how she gains weight. I will say this – and I think I said during her last pregnancy too – I think Gisele’s face looks so much prettier when pregnancy “fills it out” a little bit. Her face looks slightly fuller, and she has a healthy, rosy glow and it just softens all of her other features.

I wish I could accurately describe the mix of emotions I felt upon seeing Tom Brady’s VMAN Magazine photo shoot. At first, I was just looking at Brady and I thought, “This might be the best he’s ever looked.” I’ve never been interested in Brady as far as looks (or anything else, really). I usually don’t go for the pretty ones, and I rarely go for athletes, so it’s surprising that I find myself attracted to Tom at this late date. I still think he’s too pretty (for me). But his sex appeal is definitely growing.

But… as I really looked through these photos, I became increasingly disturbed by the use of the Doberman. I love all dogs – and I’ve known some really sweet, crazy-smart Dobermans. Like Pit Bulls, Dobermans get a bad rap because of their owners. And while I’m sure this particular Doberman was a trained puppy, simply “performing” for the cameras, it still bothers me that this kind of dog-on-man violence is used for a photo shoot. I guess the photographer (Mario Testino) could argue that the dog-on-man stuff makes the photo shoot so “compelling”. But I think it promotes the image of Dobermans as violent and temperamental.

Anyway, here are some highlights from Brady’s VMAN piece:

There are plenty of hugs and kisses to go around in the Bundchen-Brady household. During a Carine Roitfeld-styled, Mario Testino-photographed shoot with VMAN (their fall issue hits stands August 23), Tom Brady opens up about not being afraid to show off his softer side — especially when he’s hanging out at home with wife Gisele Bundchen and his sons, Jack (with ex-Bridget Moynahan) and Benjamin.

Brady says he grew up in “an environment where people weren’t afraid to express how they really felt or express their emotions,” he tells the mag. “I’m very blessed to be able to do that because with my two boys — I kiss them a thousand times a day. My wife and I are very affectionate, it’s just part of our nature.”

Even though he makes his living in one of the most macho industries there is, “I’m not really concerned with portraying this tough warrior,” he explains. “I mean, that’s part of my job and I take that very seriously. But I don’t have anything to hide and I’m not concerned with what people think.”

Turns out the NFL star, 35, and his supermodel wife will soon have another family member to cover in kisses; as Us Weekly first reported in June, Bundchen is expecting her and Brady’s second child together.

“Yes, she is pregnant,” one source told Us at the time. “[She and Tom] are really happy!”

Last week, there were some really nice photos of Gisele, Jack and Benjamin visiting Tom at the Patriots training camp – you can see them here. Tom does seem very affectionate and “hands on” with his two sons, and I can see how Gisele is a part of that too. I think that’s good – it’s a great parenting style, to be very tactile and affectionate. That’s the way my mom was, whereas my father and I rarely even hugged (we showed affection through food). As it turns out, that’s what I’m like as an adult too – I’m not a very tactile, touchy-feely person. Still, I can admire that quality from afar.

Here are some new photos of Gisele Bundchen in Porto Alegra in Brazil, shooting a C&A ad campaign. As you can see, that bulky sweater and strategically placed scarf are trying to hide her growing baby bump. It really seems like all of the Brazilian and American gossips were right – Gisele is pregnant with her second. Good for her. And can I just say? I think she’s prettier when she’s pregnant. I know Gisele gets a lot of criticism for not having a real “supermodel face” but when she’s filled out a bit (like in these photos), I think she’s incredibly beautiful. The added weight looks great on her, and her face doesn’t seem so angular.

Additionally, Gisele was named “the highest paid model” in the world by Forbes several days ago. Gisele had $45 million in earnings – just for May 2011 to May 2012. Kate Moss was ranked #2, with only $9 million in earnings for the same time period. So not only is Gisele the top-earning supermodel in the world, you could argue that no other model even comes close to creating the kind of firestorm and global headlines like Gisele. I think that’s probably Gisele’s answer to David Gandy, who criticized her a week ago. Gisele to Gandy: “SUCK IT. I’M RICH.”

Back to Gisele and her bump… Tom Brady was at a promotional event for Under Armour yesterday, and he talked a little bit about Gisele, his hair and whether they’re expecting. You can read the full thing here, and here are some highlights:

SI.com: I think the last time Hot Clicks had fun with your hair was a few weeks ago when you went to a fashion ball. You were rockin’ a faux hawk, I believe.
Brady: Yeah, it was. Just a little different haircut.

SI.com: When it comes to the hair, do you go with what [wife] Gisele [Bundchen] likes or do you make the decisions on your own?
Brady: She likes pretty much what I like. She leaves it to me. Every man should know, if you’re comfortable and you like it, you should do it. Everyone always worries about what the girls think, what the guys think. If you like it, do it. To me, if you’re trying to impress a girl, get a date, they’re gonna like that more because you’re a confident guy. That’s what it comes down to.

SI.com: Is there anything bad about being married to a supermodel?
Brady: [Laughing, followed by long pause] Um, it’s a marriage, so I have a life partner. Like most marriages, there’s a lot of give and take.

SI.com: You mentioned you have two kids. There are rumors that you guys are having a third. I don’t know if you want to get into that or not.
Brady: I like working on it.

SI.com: Do you really wear Uggs?
Brady: Damn right I do.

SI.com: Have you gotten your teammates to wear Uggs?
Brady: Damn right I have.

So… Tom Brady was saying that the Met Gala fauxhawk was his idea? I don’t believe him. I do think Gisele makes suggestions about his hair. As for Tom’s non-confirmation, non-denial about Gisele’s pregnancy… I wonder what they’re waiting for? Maybe they don’t want to make a formal announcement?

These are new photos of Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady and their son Ben in Boston last week. A few weeks ago, shortly after the Met Gala, rumors began circulating about the state of Gisele Bundchen’s womb. Brazilian tabloids/gossips and fashion blogs began circulating completely unsubstantiated rumors that Gisele and Tom Brady were expecting their second child, and that Gisele is only a few months into the pregnancy but they’re already telling friends and family.

So, can you see any hint of bump on Gisele? I can’t. I guess if it’s still really early for her (first trimester) than she wouldn’t be showing. But would she be wearing skinny jeans (are those even jeans?)? Eh. Whatever is going on with her, she doesn’t look any bigger to me. I guess I should mention that her shirt is loose… but maybe that’s just comfort? Whatever. It wouldn’t surprise me if she was knocked up again, and I think there’s a good possibility that she is considering no one has come out and explicitly denied the rumors. What I do know: Tom and Gisele are really cute with Ben. And Ben has better hair than his dad.

I’ve lost count of how many times Gisele Bundchen has been to the Met Gala. I only started paying attention when she and Tom Brady began walking the red carpet together. It’s now become an annual thing, and one of the few times in any given year when Gisele and Tom actually pose on a red carpet together. For this year’s Met Gala, I don’t really think Tom was at his best. Honestly, he looks pretty rough. And yes, his hair is really doing that. Did Gisele put him up to that? He’s said before that she’s in charge of his hair. Did she style him?

But Gisele looks good. She’s wearing this black Givenchy, which fits her like a glove. Gisele in Givenchy… it’s kind of boringly beautiful, right? I like it better than the red McQueen she wore last year, but this look feels like something we’ve seen a million times before, on many, many different girls. It also feels like this dress was Gisele’s second choice? Like she had something show-stopping as her first choice, but decided to go more low-key in black. The only thing I can really nit-pick on the dress is the weird front slit. I’m not opposed to a sexy slit, but I’m not sure if it fits on this dress.

I like the simplicity of Gisele’s styling – small earrings, no necklace, no bracelets, simple makeup. Dislike the hair – the Croydon facelift is not Gisele’s friend.

We didn’t have a story about Gisele Bundchen yesterday. Did you notice? Gisele has been big news all week because of her comments about Tom Brady’s teammates just after the Super Bowl. The Patriots feel betrayed. The WAGs feel mean-girl’d. And everybody has an opinion on whether or not Gisele is a mouthy bitch. But, throughout the week, Gisele hasn’t said anything in her own defense. Tom hasn’t come out to defend her either. What does that mean? Are they hoping it will all blow over? Or is Tom just telling her to keep her head down and STFU? That’s what the Enquirer claims in this week’s issue:

When Gisele Bundchen dissed Tom’s teammated on Deb. 5, sources say Tom was incensed!

“Gisele was out of control!” a football insider told The Enquirer. “Tom prides himself on his professionalism and here was his wife screaming at reporters. He was embarrassed – and furious! Out of sight of the others, he let her know it. ‘Zip it!,’ he told her. He sacked her, telling her she’s got to keep her feelings to herself.”

“It was worse than losing the game because he feels she betrayed his teammates. Furthermore, she humiliated him by turning him into a pantywaist, causing him worldwide ridicule!”

That’s a far cry from the warm feelings that surrounded winning Giants quarterback Eli Manning and his wife Abby, who were the epitome of class, according to a source: “Manning typifies hard work and sportsmanship – everything a sporting legend should be. And the decorum shown by Eli’s wife Abby spoke volumes as she handed their 10-month-old daughter Ava to him after he was named the game’s MVP.”

With the Super Bowl over, all the NFL players face a long off-season. And sources say Gisele may try to get back into Tom’s good graces and one-up Eli Manning’s wife by adding to the Brady bunch.

“It wouldn’t be surprising if Gisele tries to give Tom a daughter,” said the sports insider. “He badly wants a ‘daddy’s little girl.’”

Ah, yes. Pit Gisele against a more “traditional” football WAG. That always works. Look, I’m sure Abby is a nice person, and I’m sure I’ll come back to thinking Gisele is a sanctimonious hussy momentarily, but right now I’m just feeling like Gis is getting a really raw deal. She didn’t punch a baby, you know. She didn’t kick a kitten. She was just emotionally invested in her husband’s game, and she said something kind of bitchy and rude right after a big disappointment. ENOUGH.

That being said, I do think she’ll probably get pregnant again, and soon.

Yesterday, everybody was talking about Gisele Bundchen’s post-Super Bowl comments. To be fair to Gisele, it’s not like she spoke directly to a media outlet and publicly squawked about her husband’s teammates. But, it wasn’t like she was really trying to be gracious and hold her temper either. When she was heckled by some Giants fans, she was caught on camera telling a friend, “You have to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball… My husband can not f–king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.” Gisele to Patriots: EAT IT. Here’s the video:

So even though this video made me slightly sympathetic towards Gisele (I like how emotionally invested she is in Tom’s career), everyone was pretty much like “Gisele really shouldn’t have thrown Tom’s teammates under the bus like that.” And thus, a TMZ follow-up story is born:

Gisele Bundchen should have kept her perfectly-shaped mouth shut last night — this according to multiple sources inside the Patriots organization, who claim the supermodel violated a “code of brotherhood” by bashing Tom Brady’s receivers.

Sources tell TMZ, the teammates are “disappointed” Gisele decided to air her grievances after the game last night — when she said, “My husband cannot f***ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”

According to sources, Tom’s teammates feel betrayed by Gisele’s behavior — the Pats organization is a brotherhood and Gisele’s pot shot violated the code — which is basically … win as a team, lose as a team.

As one source put it, “It’s like knocking someone when they are down.”

Thus far, the Patriots’ spokesperson hasn’t said anything (reporters note that the dude just shut his mouth and shook his head), but Pats defensive back James Ihedigbo told reporters, “You can’t point fingers at anybody. Wes made amazing plays all season. You win it as a team; you win it and lose it as a team. And we lost to a good football team.” So, what’s the verdict: is Gisele a total bitch for throwing Tom’s teammates under the bus, or are the Pats acting like big babies in the face of legit criticism?

So, SPOILER, the Patriots lost and as it turns out, God kind of thinks that Tom Brady and Gisele should just EAT IT. Like, God is all “Seriously, dude, you’re married to Gisele and you live in a bajillion-dollar mansion. You can’t win the Super Bowl too. Stop praying, you’ve already got it all.” After the Pats lost, Gisele was photographed comforting Tom Brady – you can see the photos here. It actually makes me believe that Tom and Gisele really are that tight – Gisele looks very loving and supportive. Apparently, Gisele blames her husband’s teammates for their fumbles, and she thought Tom was the only one out there getting it done:

Gisele is saying what EVERY Patriots fan was thinking last night … Tom Brady needed some “f*cking” help from his teammates during the Super Bowl.

On her way out of the stadium last night, the supermodel was heckled by New York Giants fans … one who screamed, “Eli owns your husband.”

Gisele didn’t shout back … but turned to a friend and said, “You (have) to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball… My husband can not f****ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”

Clearly, G was taking a shot at Wes Welker, Aaron Hernandez … and every other Pats player who CHOKED during the big game. The comment was captured on tape and has already hit the Internet.

A short time later, Gisele could be seen comforting her hubby in the bowels of the stadium.

It sounds like Gisele is just defending her husband, but she probably won’t be making friends amongst her husband’s teammates for throwing them under the proverbial bus. And people, for the love of God – stop heckling the wives! This makes me feel bad for Gisele a little bit. And I like her more for getting so emotionally involved in her husband’s game. I hope she gets pregnant again!

I have a question: how whipped is Tom Brady? He always attends these big fashion events with his wife, she gets the final say in his hair, and you know she dresses him too. While I don’t hate on men being whipped as a general rule, I will hate on Tom Brady for a moment – he needs to grow a set and stand up to his wife, at least about the hair. The hair is ridiculous. He’s a big boy, he should get a haircut.

As for Gisele… meh. She’s one of the few girls wearing McQueen, but I’m not sure if this gown is the best representation of McQueen’s style in total, you know? Because I thought it was Oscar de la Renta. It looks like something Jennifer Garner would wear for the Oscars – not bad, per se, but not for Gisele, and not for this event. I also find Gisele’s styling to be blah – she doesn’t look “made up” at all. She looks like she just came from the beach, which doesn’t “go” with the dress.

I guess I should say something about those now-defunct pregnancy rumors too – I don’t see much of a belly on Gisele in these photos, so she was probably just bloated that day that I claimed she looked pregnant.
