Jennifer Aniston’s photo outtake makes a lovely Bazaar Australia cover

bazaar-aust

Isn’t this a pretty shot of Jennifer Aniston? This is the cover for the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar Australia, and the photo is an unused outtake from Jennifer’s appearance on Bazaar UK in April (which she did to promote Bounty Hunter). I think the Bazaar shoot might be one of Jennifer’s prettiest ever, and she benefits greatly from the sort of sun-drenched, moody, atmospheric light. Below are a few other photos from the shoot (that were published in Bazaar UK in April).

There’s no big news about Aniston this week (thus far), but there are a few smaller tidbits. Kevin Spacey joined the cast of Horrible Bosses, joining Aniston, Jason Bateman and Colin Farrell, amongst others. That’s the one where Aniston is going to masturbate on camera or something. Also, there’s some crazy lady who has gone to the British tabloids claiming that she’s Aniston’s “baby coach”:

The ‘Bounty Hunter’ actress Jennifer Aniston is reportedly visiting a life coach to help her focus on becoming a mother. Jennifer Aniston has been visiting a life coach to make her baby dream come true.

The ‘Bounty Hunter’ actress has reportedly been having meetings with Hollywood life strategist Suzannah Galland in a bid to make the right decisions in her life, and fulfil her wish to become a mother.

Suzannah – whose clients reportedly include Naomi Campbell, Demi Moore and Gwyneth Paltrow – said: “So many of my clients are walking around with a big hole in their hearts if they don’t have a family. Many of them think that because they can’t have a family the traditional way it won’t ever happen to them – they don’t consider other viable means, firstly, adoption. There are so many children who don’t have parents, or anyone to love them, and so many women who would make amazing mothers. It’s a matter of making them see that there is still a part of themselves that can make motherhood happen.”

The 41-year-old actress – who divorced husband Brad Pitt in 2005, following a five-year marriage – has remained largely single since then, apart from short-term romances with Vince Vaughn, Paul Sculfor and John Mayer.

Suzannah claims she has been working with the screen beauty to help her “process her feelings”.

She is quoted by Britain’s Grazia magazine as saying: “Everyone wants a positive outcome in their lives and I help them create it. I find that my clients who live and work in Hollywood often don’t have time to process their feelings. They live their life in the fast lane and they’re surrounded by yes people but they don’t know who they can really trust. They can also feel incredibly lonely.”

Jennifer was recently interviewed for a September issue of US magazine Harper’s Bazaar, where it is reported the actress claims to want a child “as soon as possible”.

Oh, I wonder if that Bazaar article they’re referring to is the same one that OK! Magazine used for their cover story last week. Could be. Eh.

She looks great in these pics. Beautiful.

  2. kelbear says:

Not everyone will agree but I have always thought she is very beautiful, from the beginning of Friends and I’m sure she always will be.

  3. Melanie says:

Such a beauty, inside and out. God bless her beautiful soul.

  4. DJ says:

How anyone can look at her and say she isn’t beautiful is beyond me.
    She is stunning.

  5. Kiska says:

She has a spectacular body but her face is very masculine looking.

  6. Eileen Yover says:

Wishing I had her body! I need to start reading up on the zone!!!! =(

  7. iriD says:

In those bottom pictures she resembles an Olsen.

  8. mln says:

she has a great body I’m 10 years younger and would love to look half as good her,the face has been tamed through nose jobs and clever lighting but whatever works

  9. gabs says:

Ugh she is so annoying. Is that her 3rd nose? I laughed everytime they call her “The Bounty hunter” actress or “the 41 year old actress” or when they mention Brad. How sad is it that they still mention him in every article about her? OH please shes not having children. Thats the reason Brad left her. He wanted kids, she didnt.

  10. guesty says:

gorgeous pics…but who doesn’t look good with the right lighting, make-up, e-t-c.

  11. OC lady says:

The pic is very unnatural. It’s like the photographer went to great lengths to make her look like someone else w/the fuzzy, low lighting or photo chop? Even so, she looks kinda cross-eyed/mean, has weird tarantula eyelashes and no lips? It’s an odd pic and I don’t find it flattering at all?

  12. Anon says:

Completely agree that she is absolutely stunning. Love how sweet and young she looks in that cover shot.

As for the September US Bazaar being the magazine interview referred to in OK!’s tabloid story about her last week – that could very well be true. However, Aniston’s rep already shot down the substance of the entire story to Gossip Cop saying that she will be on a September cover and had posed for pics, but that the accompanying quotes (which are apparently to pay tribute to an icon – so it doesn’t sound like there is an actual interview) have not been given yet. I guess we’ll find out in a couple of months whether there was any interview or not, but it sounds like this is just another tabloid lie!

Also I am beginning to think Grazia is at the very bottom of the bottom-feeding rags. They’ve been making up ridiculous story after story about Aniston the last couple of months and none of them have proven even a bit true. This latest seems no different – I mean surely we can acknowledge that Aniston is smart enough to know that if she wants to adopt, she needs to work with an agency and lawyers and not some “baby life coach?” Who comes up with this stuff?!

  13. lucy2 says:

I think it’s a pretty shot, good lighting and tones for her coloring.

  14. skibunny says:

Wow! She is gorgeous. I love her style.

  15. Solveig says:

Is it me or in the bottom picture (the one where she’s grabbing her feet) she looks a lot like the Olsen twins?

  16. She is stunning looking. She is beautiful.

  17. bros says:

looks like every other photo shoot she does. yaaaaawn

  18. Anon says:

Gabs, I’m not sure exactly why you find it funny when you see her age printed (it’s just a fact and we’re all going to age), or when you see her most recent film listed with her name – a film that grossed more on its opening weekend than Cruise and Diaz’s Knight & Day yet had a budget only just over a third of what K&D’s budget was ($40 million to K&D’s $107 million). Not to mention TBH has gone on to take more than $135 million worldwide, making it a successful picture even before DVD and TV sales for Sony.

I do agree that it is ridiculous that any article mentions Brad when talking about her since all parties have clearly moved on – but then the article is coming from a tabloid so what do you expect? As for her not wanting kids and that being the reason why Brad left her – you say that as though it is fact, when the reality is that both Pitt and Aniston have always maintained that this wasn’t the case. Do you have some proof or personal knowledge otherwise?

  19. Deb says:

AJ can’t Even compete with Jen’s Natural Beauty.

  20. Alex says:

Deb: Didn’t take you long to mentioned AJ did it? All parties have moved on maybe you should do the same huh. BTW: That is not natural beauty

  21. denise says:

    @ Deb

Angelina and Jennifer have two totally different looks.
Angie is more like a siren/vixen. She is gorgeous and sexy, a total stunner.
Jennifer is an all American beauty, more natural looking. She has a more real look to her.
No doubt, they are both beautiful ladies.

  22. dre says:

Hey #10 – Me! I dont look good no matter what they do!! Lighting is not going to help either!

  23. Crash2GO2 says:

Very pretty. Is that a snake she is wrangling?!

  24. Eileen Yover says:

For the love of God-can’t we get through ONE post about this woman without BP or AJ mentioned? Or vice versa??
There has to be a website somewhere that allows these stalkers to go battle royale anytime there’s news on one of these people.

  25. Janeth says:

LOVE! Jen Aniston, How could anyone not like her?

  26. Harper says:

She looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! I love her laid-back style and grace.

  27. jane16 says:

Yes, the Australia cover is beautiful.

  28. Jeri says:

I like Jen but I did get tired of her “I do want babies & I will have a baby.” I’m glad I haven’t heard that recently, it discredited her.

I liked her original nose & I think she looked good with shoulder length hair on Friends. It’d be nice if she changed her hairstyle occasionally.

But hey, she must know what’s she’s doing as it works for her.

  29. serena says:

    yeah, she looks good there.

  30. Lenore says:

…well, I don’t find her beautiful. Sorry. To each their own. I’m not a Brangeloonie and I’ve got nothing against Jennifer, she seems a nice enough gal to me, but her face just does nothing for me.

All the bits are nice – nice skin, nice eye colour, cute smile (when she smiles) but add ’em all up and she just looks to me like a boyish, unremarkable girl glammed up and camouflaged with mascara and a good hairdo.

  31. Rachel says:

Amazing. Now I must get to a gym, STAT!

  32. Belle Epoch says:

Dre #22 – Of course you would look beautiful if you had the best professionals doing your hair, skin, makeup, clothes, lighting, camera angle, etc. If a woman has wrinkles they use a fuzzy lens that hides the details, and backlighting so she looks angelic. And they overexpose the picture so everything flattens out, and use uniform, muted tones so nothing really stands out.

I used to like the way Oprah would get out there and exercise without any special makeup because she looks like a totally different person once they glam her up for TV. She is able to be both those people – the plain Oprah and the glamourous Oprah.

Remember “Even I don`t wake up looking like Cindy Crawford”?

  33. OC lady says:

I find it funny that people describe her as an “all natural” beauty. Nothing could be further from the truth. She’s had a lot of work done. Exhibit A: http://www.celebrity-hair-styles-magazine.com/young-jennifer-aniston-hair-styles-03.html and Exhibit B: http://www.celebrity-hair-styles-magazine.com/young-jennifer-aniston-hair-styles-06.html

I doubt anyone in Hollywood is “natural.” Maybe Kristen Stewart? Some of the work done now is so good that it’s becoming really hard to tell anymore. I certainly think Kristen is a natural beauty and let’s hope she stays that way.

  34. Maritza says:

On that Australia cover they should have shaped her upper lip better with a darker lipstick. She does resemble the Olsen twins with the way she smiles. I do agree that if she wants a baby so bad she should adopt already.

  35. nnn says:

She is not beautiful to the least but that’s me and since beauty is in the eyes of the beholder i totally get that universal logic that some find her beautiful.

  36. Cruisin Through says:

Whether anyone finds her beautiful or not is a matter of preference, but she certainly makes the most of herself. I don’t care if she’s had work done. If she did, they did a damn good job. She looks fresh and natural regardless of how it came to be.

  37. snowball says:

I think she’s stunning, always have. I’ll take the all-American look, it ages pretty damn good, if you ask me. Those pictures are great. I loved the ones she did for her perfume too (whatever happened with that?).

Now, who thinks Colbie Callait is looking a bit like Jen? 🙂

  38. Kelaa Khaa says:

JA is the poster gal for natural non collagen pouffed lips. And Irid, I’d never noticed it before, but she does look an an Olsen twin!

  39. Camille says:

I completely agree with you again OC lady!
I’m sorry but I just don’t see a stunning or beautiful woman here at all.
She needs a team of professionals to even make her red carpet/photo ready, she is not any kind of ‘beauty’ without clever lighting, photoshop and good makeup.
How anyone can see that this masculine faced, strange/large/overworked on nose, small, close together eyes, papercut lipped woman is attractive is beyond me. Then again beauty is subjective and everyone is allowed their own opinion. Thank goodness for that.
Hollywood- it really is all smoke, mirrors, good lighting, plastic surgery and a ton of makeup isn’t it LOL.

  40. Anon says:

Camille, like you said, beauty is subjective, but I have to disagree that “she needs a team of professionals to even make her red carpet/photo ready.” I mean obviously she (like all others) employ a team of professionals for events and shoots, but I’ve seen plenty of candid photos of Jennifer where I think she looks beautiful too, and often just as good or better than those styled looks because she’s more fresh-faced and in less make-up. I also find her to be someone that minimal photo-shop is typically used on when comparing professional shots to candids.

And I guess beauty must really be in the eye of the beholder because I couldn’t disagree more with your assessment of her features: to me she has a defined face shape/bones, but I don’t find it in anyway masculine; I think her eyes are exquisite and one of her best features; her nose has only changed minimally from early photos and I find it to be cute and natural; and I think her lips suit her face shape and size and she has a gorgeous smile. To each his own I guess!

  41. Natural Beauty??? says:

Dyed hair. Blue contact lenses. Redone nose. Personal trainer. Photoshop. I think this photographer and make up artist can make an ordinary person beautiful.

  42. Cheyenne says:

@denise and snowball: What does “all-American” mean? Does that mean anyone who isn’t white and doesn’t have blonde hair and blue eyes (either fake or natural) doesn’t look “American”?

  43. Is her publicity staff posting these comments? says:

I really don’t see what the others see. She is just ordinary. She’s not ugly, but she’s not gorgeous.

  44. Crash2GO2 says:

@Jeri: I loved her bobbed hair too! I still sigh when I see photos of her with it! But apparently she hated it: Said it made her feel too exposed, that she needed her hair to hide in.

After reading some of the comments in this thread, it’s no wonder why.

  45. Casey says:

I like the quote from the earlier HB cover: “It’s time for my rebirth”.

When is it FINALLY going to happen so that we can all move on?

  46. Liana says:

I’m glad that we all don’t look like some cookie cutter standard of beauty. I think Jennifer is beautiful. So she had a nose job or two – she’s certainly not overworked. Since when is rhinoplasty some great sin? It’s not like it’s rendered her unrecognizable.

  47. Lilias says:

Whatever she’s had done, it looks great. No one in that industry is completely natural. Some women ruin their faces when they get plastic surgery (Meg Ryan)-she’s tweaked her nose a little here and there and she still looks natural.

I think that’s more or less what people mean when they say “natural” is that she LOOKS natural. No one can say that she looks like she’s had plastic surgery.

  48. Eileen Yover says:

I can go either way with her-but looking at those links-her nose hardly looks any different. Maybe thinned up around the top but the tip looks exactly the same. And those aren’t blue contacts her eyes are blue but in photoshop you can “burn” eyes to make them more vivid and bright. As well the “blur” to make the skin flawless and poreless. I wish there was photoshop for real skin!

  49. abbydoom says:

She’s cute I like her. She seems harmless enough.

  50. Liana says:

I would like my entire life to be photoshopped.

  51. sdca says:

i don’t know-=i agree she’s cute, not gorgeous, works hard at it-her body is amazing…and has a team of pros to help her at all turns.
So, I see both sides of the opinions here…

I do think she’s attractive, and, i’ve seen plenty of pretty candid shots of her when she’s on vacation-those long lens ones-and she looks pretty good to me! True, you might not notice her on the street anymore than other pretty girls-but really, which hollywood star DOES stand out for beauty?
AJ [sorry to bring her name up, really sorry!] is exotic, but plenty of women on the planet are…in fact, i could go to bali or tahiti or venezuela tomorrow, and find a gazillion women just out on the street living their lives, who are more beautiful than any hollywood star.

They all require smoke and mirrors a nd being shoved in our faces.
it’s the way the industry runs…..

I like these shots of JA-she looks younger, actually. The etheric lighting reminds me of australia, too. It’s got an ‘outback quality’ lol

btw, the first thing i noticed in these pics is ‘wow, someone who doesn’t get lip implants-thank god!’

  52. Kate says:

She doesn’t bother me; I am both Team Angie and Team Jen… I am team women!

We need to stop with this constant Jen vs Angie, Brad vs Jen crap in every interview she does; it bores me to tears. Pitting women against one another like that benefits no one and does little to empower us all!

That being said, she seems nice enough and I can find nothing to dislike about her; from what I gather she is fairly down-to-earth and “normal.” She is certainly not the most offensive celeb out there!

  53. Vanessa says:

I really hate Jennifer Aniston, but I think she looks good in this picture.

  54. benny says:

It really doesn’t matter how “good” a celebrity looks. I think J.A. looks great. I also think nothing about her (or any other celebrity) is natural. Want to look as good as J.A.? It’s easy:

    (1) Hire a full-time cook and trainer to keep you slim.

    (2) Have your hair artificially straightened and artifically colored.

    (3) Get a spray-on tan.

    (4) Have plastic surgery (at a minimum, a nose job).

    (5) Hire the best make-up artists money can buy.

    (6) Botox.

    (7) Camera filters. How on earth did she get purple eyes in that first photo? Is that a camera filter or colored lenses? If the latter, then . . .

    (8) Colored contact lenses.

    (9) Make sure you buy designer clothes that were custom made for you.

    (10) And if all that still isn’t enough, one word: photoshop.

See how easy that was? Now why don’t ALL women look as good? It’s so easy!

  55. DD says:

I think she’s very pretty, and her body is to die for. Why do we need to constantly compare those two? They’re both beautiful and their beauty is unique.

  56. crab says:

@ benny, what celebrity doesn’t do all that? Believe me if I had their money I’d do all that!!

  57. benny says:

I DO think most celebrities do it. That’s why I don’t understand why anyone bothers to gush about how “good” any celebrity looks. They SHOULD look good after all they go through (work on their hair, skin, botox, surgery, etc., etc., and last resort: photoshop).

  58. original kate says:

comparing jen & angie is like apples & oranges. they have two very different looks, and are both very pretty, but if anyone thinks either of them is a “natural beauty” they should think again.

  59. anonymous says:

    She looks great.

  60. Cheyenne says:

@crash: Why in the world would a grown woman need to hide herself in her hair? Her insecurity level must be through the roof.

She looks very pretty in that photo in a bland kind of way. Trying to compare her and Jolie is, as kate said, apples and oranges. They have totally different looks. Jolie is very sexy, sultry and exotic-looking. Aniston is pretty but looks totally asexual, like she is selling Wonder bread.

  61. DiMi says:

She looks amazing. Yes, she has clearly had a nose job. So has Angeina – check out Gia and your mouth will fall open when you realize her nose is now a fraction of its original width. Why can’t we just acknowledge that both of these women are beautiful, both have had plastic surgery, and both have the excessive wealth that makes it possible for them to maintain perfect bodies.

  62. Holly says:

She looks very pretty. I hope she never messes with her lips. While society says that giant lips are more attractive, Jen has always defied a lot of those “standards”, and I think her all the more pretty for it. Plus, I like how she doesn’t have a million dirty skeletons in her closet.
    @Cheyenne: is somebody paying you?

  63. daisy424 says:

    Fabulous!

  64. Crash2GO2 says:

@Cheyenne: You contradict yourself me’dear. I clearly remember (as do many other posters I am sure) ranting that you find Jennifer Aniston as ‘attractive as a rutabaga’.

I know you are trying to occasionally portray yourself as a kinder, gentler Cheyenne. But you’re getting called out in another thread too.

  65. anony says:

at least she is wearing clothes

  66. hydrogen says:

This is a fantastic story. Thanks! I did not imagine this.
