Rebecca Romijn unveils her adorable twin girls in “Got Milk?” ad
Rebecca Romign Milk Mustache Ad Unveil and the Got Milk? 'Great Gallon Give' Kickoff

I’m ready to declare Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell the winners for “making the most adorable chubby happy sweet gorgeous babies in the world”. Look at those gorgeous girls! Anyway, this is Rebecca and Jerry unveiling Rebecca’s new ad for the “Got Milk?” campaign, in which she posed with their 1-year-old twin girls Dolly and Charlie. I don’t know which girl is which, but those are some absolutely beautiful babies!

Rebecca Romijn isn’t the only model in the family!

On Monday, she unveiled her second “Got Milk?” ad — and it stars her adorable 1-year-old twin girls, Dolly and Charlie.

The ad is a part of Got Milk’s “Great Gallon Give” campaign, which emphasizes the importance milk plays in building strong families. The campaign also promises to donate hundreds of thousands of gallons of milk to families in need.

Says Romijn: “I know that milk is a valuable part of building a stronger family. For me, milk is the best choice. It supplies so many nutrients that are important for my children’s development — and to my overall health, too. I encourage all moms to make it easier to build a strong family in 2010 by setting their table with milk.”

Look for the ads in magazines – including Us Weekly! – beginning Jan. 15. For exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, visit WhyMilk.com.

Is there anything left to say? I want to pinch baby cheeks. That’s all I can think of right now, and I’m not even a baby person. If I could have a baby that adorable, maybe I would become a baby person, though. Pinch pinch pinch.

Jerry O’Connell refused to watch Rebecca Romijn give birth

fp_3402526_oconnell_jerry_e
For the fans of Project Runway, last week’s episode featuring a “maternity” challenge was exciting. Since it was filmed many months ago, we got to see a very pregnant Rebecca Romijn as the judge – and she was good! I enjoyed seeing Heidi Klum and Rebecca interact with another – they seemed very close. But the show was just a reminder that Rebecca gave birth back in January - and that the current season of Project Runway is nearly one year old. But never mind about that – beggars can’t be choosers, and I need my Project Runway fix.

Jerry O’Connell is opening up about Rebecca’s pregnancy, the birth of their twin girls Dolly and Charlie, and how Rebecca’s losing the weight. I’ve always been kind of “meh” about Jerry, but he comes across as really sweet and a little clueless in this interview, to Fox News Pop Tarts. Jerry describes his lack of any desire to watch the birth of his twin girls, which is something I can completely understand. Granted, I’ve never been pregnant or anything, but if and when it happens, I think I’ll tell my husband/partner that it’s okay not to look. Jerry also talks about how oblivious he is as to whether Rebecca is dieting:

Jerry O’Connell is the proud father of twin girls Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, but the “Stand By Me” star couldn’t actually stand by his wife with his eyes open during their birth last December.

“I was there for the birth but I did not look though. A friend of mine said ‘listen, I’ve looked so I’m giving you a piece of advice – I don’t think you should look’ so I didn’t actually see anything,” O’Connell told Tarts at the Much Love Animal Rescue Dinner in Hollywood on the weekend.

But when we asked if his swimsuit supermodel wife Rebecca Romijn was back to her perfect pre-pregnancy body, he did hesitate a little.

“Yes… yes I guess she is. She looks great, back into the pilates,” O’Connell said. “She’s stopped breast-feeding so it slows down a little, I don’t know the particulars. But we had a very large lunch today and we had dessert so I don’t think she’s dieting per se.”

Romijn has infact bounced back to work and is busy filming ABC’s new supernatural series “Eastwick”, prompting O’Connell to enroll in law school.

“I got the short straw for not working so I’m going to grad school part-time. I can do my homework and watch the kids at the same time,” he added. “But Rebecca misses the girls a lot when she’s at work so I bring them around and let them bother her on set.”

[From Fox News]

He’s cute, right? I thought this was really sweet. I know there are a lot of women who are like “he must experience every aspect of childbirth, including how dilated my vadge is” but that just seems like the kind of thing that scars most men. In another recent interview he told E! News that he and Rebecca aren’t interesting in having any more babies: “This is it. Factory closed. It’s over. Now we’re just adopting dogs.”

He also described taking his daughters to Rebecca’s Eastwick set, and said: “The hardest thing is being in a public place like a store or a restaurant—or on your wife’s TV show set!—and smelling number two, and knowing it’s one of your children. Those situations are always embarrassing. I went to my wife’s work yesterday, and she was in the middle of a very dramatic scene. And I had the kids there, and one of them was like, ‘Bwaaahhh.’ It was very verbal and busted the scene up. I thought it was funny, but I don’t think the director did, so I got the heck out of there. I had a long talk with the girls about show business, but I don’t think they had any idea what the heck I was talking about.”

Okay, they’re now one of my new favorite couples. Jerry is so cute about his girls. I think at this point, he’s just happy to be a stay-at-home dad… which is really cool. Jerry is going to law school part-time now, LA’s Southwestern Law School. When he announced it a few weeks ago, he said “I had always planned on continuing my education at some point and because my wife is working on Eastwick, which is on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. this fall, and I’m home all day with the girls, I figured I would take a couple of classes at night. It was either that or play video games until 2 a.m.”

Jerry O’Connell takes care of twins while Rebecca Romijn goes back to work

Charlie Tamara Tulip, Dolly Rebecca Rose, Rebecca Romijn, Jerry

Celeb couple Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn seem to have an arrangement that works for them, as well as their twin baby girls, Charlie and Dolly. Romijn is back at work after giving birth to the girls prematurely four months ago. So who’s taking care of the babies? Why, dad is, of course. Jerry O’Connell has been spotted all over the place pushing his double stroller while his supermodel/actress wife brings home the bacon.

New parents Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have gone to great lengths to keep their family unit intact. The couple, along with Jerry’s parents and 4-month-old twin daughters, Dolly and Charlie, have all temporarily relocated to Toronto so that Rebecca can work on a film called The Love Child of Andy Warhol and Yoko Ono.

“Rebecca is excited about this project,” says a friend. “Jerry has made it so easy on her. He is doing everything for her to keep her happy. They just want to make sure that the family is all together and the twins don’t feel any change to their schedule.”

Not only have they set up their daughters’ new room and arranged for local doctors, Jerry drives Rebecca, 36, to work every day.

“He drops her off in the morning to the set every day – it’s so sweet and down-to-earth,” says the friend. “He even gets her coffee for her in the morning! They are very normal.”

Jerry, 35, has enjoyed being Mr. Mom. “I watch the kids while she’s at work. It’s good – they like coming to another place!” He said recently, but added with a laugh, “She had a kissing scene today, and it must have been weird for the other actor to know that she has kids and a husband nearby!”

I don’t know – this sounds like trouble to me. Twin infants are an incredible amount of work for two parents, let alone one parent while the other one is working long hours. In my experience, when one partner is doing absolutely everything for the other one, that kind of unbalanced relationship can cause problems. Jerry is putting all his needs on hold to care for the babies and his wife. He sounds like a great guy. She sounds incredibly high maintenance to me. What is she doing for her husband, I wonder? Maybe I’m reading too much into it. Maybe Jerry really is enjoying himself, taking care of the babies and being an errand boy for Rebecca. But it doesn’t sound all that fun to me.

Rebecca Romijn looking incredible a month after having twins

fp_1864162_romijn_rebecca_f
Rebecca Romijn, 36, and her husband Jerry O’Connell, 34, welcomed girl twins, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, just over a month ago, on December 28 of last year. The “Ugly Betty” star stepped out in workout gear yesterday looking amazing. It’s hard to tell she’s ever had a baby. Her secret to bouncing back may be moderate workouts throughout her pregnancy. This is the woman who called herself a “beached whale” when she was pregnant back in November. She didn’t waste any time whipping herself back in shape after the babies arrived. Romijn is nursing the twins, which also helps burn calories. O’Connell said during a guest host on “Regis & Kelly” that his wife uses a breastfeeding position called the “double football” hold so the babies can nurse at the same time.

Many women are able to regain their pre-pregnancy bodies quickly, but they make some of the rest of us feel like mere mortals in comparison. Salma Hayek told Oprah that she had trouble losing her baby weight and half-joked that “it’s a lie” that you lose the pregnancy weight quickly from breastfeeding.

Romijn said she that she and O’Connell did not use IVF to have the babies, but that she did take the fertility drug Clomid for about two months. She was off of it for several months before becoming pregnant with twins. She said that she’s always wanted a baby, and that “I was never a girl who dreamed about what her wedding day would be like, but I’ve always dreamed about decorating my baby’s nursery.”

O’Connell showed pictures of the babies on Regis & Kelly on January 16. They were super cute and smiling, but you had to squint to see them. Hopefully we’ll get clearer photos of the twins soon.

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have twin girls

wenn1727330
Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have had twin girls. US Magazine reports that family friend Howard Stern made the announcement on his show this morning. There is not much more information about the girls and we’re not sure of their names yet or even exactly when they were born. (If you listened to this Stern this morning and have more details, please comment.)

Romijn said she tried Clomid a year before she got preganant, but said she was off the fertility drug for months before the twins were conceived naturally without in vitro fertilization:

Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O’Connell have welcomed twin girls, Howard Stern announced on his Sirius radio show Monday morning…

In November, Romijn, 36, told Page Six magazine she was ready to give birth. (She had to skip pal Stern’s October wedding because she was put on bed rest.)

“I can’t move anymore… I’m a beached whale!” she said. “I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I’m not taking any chances. I’m determined to keep the puppies up!”

See Us’ baby bump hall of fame.

She also revealed that the twins were conceived without the help of in vitro fertilization or the fertility drug Clomid.

“A year ago, we tried Clomid for a couple of months unsuccessfully,” Romijn said. “But by the second month, I was like, ‘Ahhh! I hate this!’ I think when you start messing with your own hormones, it’s crazy-making.”

Last fall Romijn said in all seriousness that she wanted to name one of her daughters Dolly after Dolly Parton as she’s a huge fan of the country legend. O’Connell mentioned the names Mary-Kate and Ashley for the babies after the famous Olsen twins, and said it was a joke but added that they “really thought about that.” Hopefully everyone is well and we’ll have to wait and see what the babies are named.

Romijn and O’Connell recently released a video through Funny or Die that was a spoof on Romijn’s shape shifting role in X-Men as the Mystique. Romijn changed into different people from bed, including comedian Jerry Minor and Perez Hilton. The 36 year-old actress spent the last few months of her pregnancy on bed rest.

Congratulations to Romijn and O’Connell!

Rebecca Romijn is not huge

Rebecca Romijn’s husband of one year, actor Jerry O’Connell, 34, joked on Conan O’Brien that his wife, who is pregnant with girl twins due later this year, is “huge.” O’Connell then tried to take back his rude comment and make it up to her. He issued a statement to People that he regrets saying that and that Romijn is not huge – she is getting bigger, but only where you would expect a pregnant woman to be:

“I regret calling my wife ‘huge’ on Conan O’Brien,” O’Connell tells PEOPLE. “I meant to say that there are specific areas of my wife that are larger than normal and growing every day. All other portions of my wife are quite petite. I apologize to her and will be coming home with flowers.”

[From People]

New photos have come out of pregnant Romijn and she doesn’t look huge at all. O’Connell definitely owed her an apology. Even if she was gaining weight all over the woman is pregnant and that’s no time to call her fat. Some groveling definitely was in order and it sounded like O’Connell was up to the task. If he really wants to make it up to her he’ll rub cream on his wife’s feet every night for the duration of her pregnancy and ask her periodically if he can bring her anything.

Rebecca Romijn wants to name one of her twins after Dolly Parton

Supermodel and expectant mom Rebecca Romijn, who is having twins with her new husband Jerry O’Connell, says she has already picked out at least one name- provided, of course, one of the twins is a girl. Romijn is a huge fan of country legend Dolly Parton, and hopes to give one of the babies the same moniker.

She’s not due to give birth until next year, but Rebecca Romijn has already decided to name one of the twins with hubby Jerry O’Connell after her favorite singer, Dolly Parton.

“I have been a fan of Dolly all my life. She’s a wonderful woman. I really connect with her music. I can’t think of a better role model for my children!” says the mom-to-be, who finally met her idol at the “Backwoods Barbie” show in Tennessee’s Dollywood theme park on August 17. “She has this great, sweet personality but she’s also strong and wise,” gushed Rebecca, 35, who got Dolly’s blessing for her choice of name. “She was honored.”

[From In Touch Weekly print version, Sept. 1, 2008]

I actually think Dolly is a really cute name. But I hope she doesn’t get crazy and name the kid Parton if it turns out she’s carrying twin boys. Then again, it’s not any worse than Zuma. I’m actually thinking about naming my baby “Carlin,” after my idol, George Carlin, if it’s a boy. Is that weird?

Note by Celebitchy: Jerry O’Connell recently joked about naming the twins Mary-Kate and Ashley, saying “I’m not kidding. I really thought about that.”

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell having twins

Rebecca Romijn, 35, and Jerry O’Connell, 34, have been married for a year and look like they’re having a lot of fun together. There were tabloid stories in April that the couple was trying to get pregnant, with model Romijn supposedly eating more in an attempt to conceive. Just over a week ago O’Connell mentioned that they were working on a baby together. He likely already knew that they had two on the way at the point and wanted to wait a little while before making the official announcement. He said “It would be amazing if it happened… I hope it does happen.” O’Connell also cracked that he enjoyed the process of making a baby, saying they’re trying “at least a few days a month!” It turns out all their hard work was worth it – Romijn is said to be expecting twins, due this winter:

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell will soon be on double diaper duty.

Us Weekly has learned that Romijn, 35, and O’Connell, 34, are expecting twins this winter.

A spokesman for the couple confirmed the news Monday morning.

The babies will be the first children for the pair.

Romijn and O’Connell met at a party in 2004; he proposed a year later. They got married in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles in July 2007. See their wedding photo.

[From US Magazine]

Their rep has also confirmed the news to People Magazine. I really like these two together and that is great news for them! Twins are becoming more common in the general population and hence among celebrities population due to the infertility treatments available, but it really doesn’t matter how a baby or babies are conceived. What matters is that they’re born into a loving home. These two seem like they’ll make great parents.

O’Connell recently apologized if anyone was offended by a parody video he made of Tom Cruise’s Scientology video, in which Cruise ranted that the cult were “experts on the mind” and the only people who could help accident victims. O’Connell’s version for Funny or Die included references to the then-striking Writer’s Guild using similar phrases as Cruise and wearing the same black turtleneck, laughing uncontrollably. He said he never intended the video to become as popular as it did, and that it was intended as more of an inside joke in the industry. As for Tom Cruise or Katie Holmes responding to his joke, he said “There has been no contact, thank goodness,” but added that making the video was a lot of fun.

Jerry O’Connell competes in extreme adventure competition

Actor Jerry O’Connell, who starred in “Jerry Maguire” “Crossing Jordan” and “Stand by Me” and is married to model/actress Rebecca Romijn will compete in an extreme adventure competition in the Scottish Highlands next month. The 2008 Drambuie Pursuit is an outdoor adventure race where teams retrace the voyage of Bonnie Prince Charlie, who created the recipe for Drambuie. Prince Charlie tried to take over the British throne, which didn’t work out so well. He then fled to Scotland, leaving behind his secret recipe. No word on how much alcohol this competition will feature, but you’d think any race sponsored by a liqueur company would lead to a good time.

The Drambuie Pursuit, which takes place in April 2008, will see teams of modern-day rebels competing in an epic race through one of Europe’s last great wildernesses. Teams will demonstrate their spirit of adventure by kayaking through rushing rapids, rappelling steep mountain faces and performing numerous other feats of endurance as they traverse the inhospitable terrain of the Highlands. Alongside the competing teams, Jerry O’Connell will experience his own bold journey as he follows the Prince’s storied route from Inverness to the Isle of Skye.

With a successful film and television career under his belt, Jerry O’Connell is now prepared to take on the newest challenge in his life: a 100-mile race across Scotland to relive the passion, spirit and legacy of rebel Prince Charlie. Jerry and his three teammates will compete in the first ever Drambuie Pursuit to permit American entrants, they — along with nine other teams — will experience an all-terrain adventure race the likes of which they will never forget.

“I am thrilled to take part in the Drambuie Pursuit,” said Jerry O’Connell. “I can’t wait to race across the Scottish Highlands and take part in this exciting and unique journey — and I’m confident that my team will win!”

[From Yahoo! News]

That’s pretty cool. It’s an all too rare occasion that celebrities compete in extreme adventure competitions. I have a few celebs I would like to personally nominate for something involving the aforementioned “rappelling steep mountain faces.” If Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan would like to join, that would make me incredibly happy. Seriously though, it’s very cool that Jerry O’Connell is doing this. He’s one of those actors that always seems up for a good time and has no problem laughing at just about everything and everyone – himself included. I’m assuming this is the kind of thing you have to train for – but how exactly does one prepare for “feats of endurance?” I’m guessing he’s breaking a lot of boards in his backyard or something. It sounds like there could be a bit of danger involved – Jerry, you’re really pretty. Protect the face. Thanks.

Jerry O’Connell’s Tom Cruise Video Spoof

I heart this guy so much after watching this. Jerry O’Connell spoofs Tom Cruise’s wacky Scientology video in a clip on Funny or Die. He goes on random tangents while wearing a black turtleneck and staring off into space, periodically laughing like an idiot. He talks about being an actor all wild-eyed and refers to the Writer’s Guild like Cruise referenced Scientology in his video.

The mainstream news isn’t really taking on the behemoth cult with a penchant for litigation, but the kids on the Internet won’t be silenced. Our heroes over at Gawker note that the Internet is Scientology’s most powerful enemy and no matter how much they try to keep the videos from spreading they’re sure to fail. The folks over at 23/6 made a “Scientology Balls ‘O Meter” (warning on that link! Read the rest of this paragraph before proceeding) measuring the nerve of the media outlets covering the recent exposure of the cult. Radar Online, Gawker, and South Park scored high, but those guys used a graphic featuring a photo of real human testicles, so they must be pretty ballsy too.
